What is the minimum number of alphanumeric characters to use for a safe Nxt passphrase?
Wesley's client recommends 35+. I use 30 on the grounds that it's enough for bitcoin (mini private key) and the degree of entropy that gives you should make it impossible for any computer created under the known laws of physics to count to your key, let alone run the calculations to turn it into your address. It's also easier to remember. I don't remember any passwords these days. That's what I have Lastpass for.  |

My wallet stopped minting on the 18th as it seems. I did transfer SHARE that day. Does it kinda take a few days to resume minting or something?
Yes, the coins must be 24 hours old before they stake. So, depending on your transaction input/outputs you might have lost some time. When you send coin, outputs are generated from what's in your wallet, and you get "change" if the outputs are bigger than what you send. That change is going to have to age 24 hours before it starts staking. |

You have recieved word from exchanges that they will place a fixed price limit on sells? In other words - The exchange will not allow users to sell below 0.01?
What if people won't buy for that price? Then we all have a bunch of coins unable to be sold?

Most of you guys who are complaining about the price falling forget that this went from 20k to over 110k in the last week. What goes up like that will come down. It doesn't matter what coin it is. There is always a pullback. Everytime I see an altcoin move like this, it reminds me of the penny stock market. You guys need to stop thinking such short term and panic when its going up or down. If you truly do not believe in the coin and BK (The representative) then this is def. not the coin for you. YOU CAN'T EXPECT TO MAKE 50% or 100%+ everytime in a short time. Eventually NAUT will catch long term investors like myself. Think of it as if you're getting in early on an IPO. I personally think it's a growth company (coin) which most investors love.
It's ONLY BEEN 20 days since launch. THINK ABOUT IT.
As for Dirac, I think it can only help in the long run. It will create more volume and transparency between exchanges as well as users of both coins.

Wow I don't think anyone can enforce any type of Cease and Desist for this issue. That's like saying that you can't trade gold for diamonds. Its a FREE market.
Also, I think some of the evaluation here is in reverse. If the only way to buy Dirac is with NAUT, that means people need to buy NAUT to buy Dirac. Buying RAISES the price. Is linking DOGE to BTC hurting BTC?
I think at this moment the price is going down is due to the miners selling. Most miners see alt-coins as just another way to get Bitcoin.
I already doubled my money with NAUT and I am long of the rest of my position. I expect to make another 300 to 500% in a few years. And if not, oh well.

The first one to adopt a new coin may get a good reward. But you need realize the risk you may have.
True! That's why we are auditing their source code carefully. They didn't publish the full source code yet but we still can decompile it and audit with a java decompilier.  Is Quaro a fork/copy of NXT? The announcement sounds very similar and NXT is all new code written in Java. |
