2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do? 10 Coins rise 500%, but i have only 1 BTC, buy all or 1 Coin? on: April 03, 2017, 08:59:43 AM
it is a little hard to say without knowing which coins they are. but i would definitely never choose the option number 1 because for 1BTC it is too much of diversification and not all of them go up at once and keeping an eye on all of them is a bit hard for me. can't keep track of 10 coins Smiley

but buying 2-3 coins at once is a better option in my opinion. it is easier to manage and decide on exit strategy.
2322  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: April 03, 2017, 08:52:34 AM
I'm not into Forex but I believe that this is a legit way of trading with fiat. But upon doing some research it turned out that there are a lot of almost the same trading that turns out as a scam, so I stopped my ambition to know this type of investment. And besides I know that this is more difficult with trading of alt coins but many are earning from this.

well trading is difficult no matter what market you are trading in. specially when you are just starting to trade things will look strange, hard and unpredictable but as time goes by and you get to know the things that affect the market the most you can make better trades.

and i still say trading cryptocurrencies is much more profitable than trading in Forex and you can do it with a big capital and fast.
2323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is everyone? on: April 03, 2017, 08:42:12 AM
don't worry, they will start to come out as soon as there is some reversal and they get desperate for another dead cat bounce to get their short term profit out.

This is the traders moving their coins around to make their profit- so these can be considered as "noise" (althougth these are quite big noises). I guess all ethereum guys are at /place to built their logo with "$50", not knowing that it is already "$45"....

you mean $43 Smiley
and the only reason why it is still up and kept up is that bitcoin price has gone up which makes the multiplication bigger otherwise it is getting dumped real hard.
2324  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: April 02, 2017, 08:22:09 AM
To make more money is not the simplest thing to do. In trading you have to considers these factors Always use trading plans, treat trading like a business and lastly use the advantages you have. In making your business bigger make sure you have a passion for it, be a smart producer and consumer, expect ups and downs, consider other peoples idea, and lastly never give up if you have a target just fight for it. And lastly how can you make money, if you want to make money you have to spend in order to have some, never rush yourself having a big amount of money, remember that patience in virtue. You can try some business that you want, join some people who's into business and surround yourself with people having motivation in having money, it would help you.
Making more money is never easy if it was then everyone will make more money, to make more money you need to work harder an also to work in a more organized manner so you don't waste your efforts in meaningless activities that don't give you any profit at all.

working harder only gives you more income and there is always a limit on how much you can work and how much income you can earn. but this topic is about "investment" and it is not as hard as you think. it certainly is easier than working more! you just have to find the good investments that suits you and then go in with some decent amount of money.
it can be bitcoin or altcoins or even real estate and then make money from it easily and by practically doing nothing.
2325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin - f2pool signaling segwit on: April 02, 2017, 08:13:09 AM
the stable price right now is both promising and scary when you look at what has been happening in the past few days.

it is scary because we are after a pump and there is no denying that and price can go down specially if bitcoin tries above $1100 again.

but it is promising at the same time because of the accumulation that at least seems to be happening and also as far as news goes SegWit activation is at nearly 59% but again it is scary since F2Pool has been trolling yesterday and if it keeps up we can be sure of it otherwise it was April fools lie Smiley

p.s. LTC is the 3rd highest volume right now and that with a rather stable price in past 24 hours.
2326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one to buy? Stocks Houses Gold or Bitcoin or Bonds? on: April 02, 2017, 08:04:30 AM
which one to buy is never a simple question with a simple answer.
there are traders who are making millions by trading Gold, meanwhile there are others who bought gold and lost money! and the same goes for anything else.

where you live and also when you want to get in and how long you plan on holding are the questions that needs answering.

bitcoin is obviously a good choice since it is like buying stocks of a big company like facebook or google when it was super cheap and nobody know what they were. so obviously there is a lot of growth potential there when it comes to long term.
2327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 02, 2017, 07:59:35 AM
"can be used" or "someone is using it to..." doesn't mean bitcoin is being used for all that you said.

and as all of them other thousand topics about this say, criminals will never choose bitcoin which stores ALL of the transactions on a public ledger for everyone to see!
instead they simply use CASH which is accepted everywhere with no problem and is untraceable.
2328  Economy / Economics / Re: The best time to invest. on: April 01, 2017, 10:01:14 AM
Yeah its never smart idea to buy when price is high as it will kill your profits and its always good to buy when price drops and sell them when price goes higher and that is the best way to make profits and most of the traders are making profits in the same way.
That's everyone thinking about profit, buy at low price and sell at high price. But, the hard thing is when the best time to buy and sell. Because, I have seen everyday got trapped by market and loss their money with blindly to buy without thinking about the future.

Most people only thing that buy at low price is very profitable if they sell at high price, but at reality they bought coin at low price but the price keep go down, they buy without any prediction the price will go up again or keep down.
Yes and its awful , well there are no sure with market volatility bitcoins or altcoins more often it happens in altcoin but the best time isn't to invest and bought when price is cheap .I think the best time is when you are ready to face those actions and to earn or not .There's no best time as long as you can manage your investments and make profits in a time.

the best time to invest is when the price is cheap. but you should define cheap first. being low doesn't mean it is cheap.

altcoins have low prices but they are not cheap they are actually very expensive, in some cases they are over-priced. for example when they are pumped.

but in bitcoin for example, since the price will rise one way or another in the long term, you can call any price as cheap and buy there because in a long term investment you make profit for sure.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone else buying Feathercoin? on: April 01, 2017, 09:53:50 AM
i had all my good feelings about FTC when it was 400-500 satoshi ish and sold them happily on 1100 satoshi and made a nice amount of profit, apart from other short term trades i have been doing in FTC on bittrex Smiley

but to be honest i was holding FTC for 20K-50K price pump (and it can happen with this coin) but i decided against holding it for that long so got my profit and got out.
2330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 01, 2017, 09:46:35 AM
Just wait for a few months cause bitcoin will definitely break the 1400$ price. They can never bring back bitcoin price below 800$ again

still very difult is few month bitcoin price can incraese until reach 1400 dollar/bitcoin
my prediction bitcoin price in end year can incraese to 1500 dollar/bitcoin but not few month

right now it is impossible to predict the price of bitcoin by the end of the year because so many different things can happen. although i am sure price will be higher than current price.

for example if we finally move on from this FUD about the split and we can get some momentum behind SegWit then we can expect a $2000 by the end of the year and that would be a small 100% rise which is not even as big as the previous years' rises.

p.s. we are above $1100 right now.
2331  Other / Archival / Re: F2Pool started signalling Segwit on: April 01, 2017, 09:38:51 AM
If segwit is activated on altcoins, but not on bitcoin, do the altcoin developers know how to progress segwit? Could be a great way of lumbering altcoins with technical debt. (assuming segwit isn't forced activated)

there are at least 10 altcoins with talk of SegWit and a couple of them have already activated SegWit.
they are such random coins that i can not remember their names. let me do some search and if i found them i will update here.

edit: topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1777136.0 (looks like only 1, although i thought VertCoin activated it though!)
2332  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies + january 2017 on: March 31, 2017, 09:26:05 AM
Anybody knows why litecoin grows so fast? It all looked like it was dead and know it seems that its alive.

how did you conclude that it was dead?
- litecoin has had a very stable price for a very long time. it was worth $3.5 for the most time and fluctuated from $3 to $4 for the past year.
- litecoin has a lot of users and a lot of Full nodes for a very long time.
- it is constantly improving and it has a good developer team.
- there actually are some real world usage for litecoin although they are not that many.
- the trading volume has always been very decent and high.

now how do you call such a coin as dead?!!!

with all that said, what is happening now is a pump and it always happens in all the altcoins, they get pumped and their prices go up in 4-7 days then they come back down to normal price levels.
2333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your Bitcoin Assets on: March 31, 2017, 09:17:52 AM
With so many responding that they're holding we now know why the price isn't going anywhere!

A lot of people get worked up by the alts but there's really only one alt that provides any viable investment alternative to bitcoin. The rest are just pump and dump play toys for whales and a sucker's ride for the regular folks (no offense to the regular folks).

But yeah, hodl...at least for now.

i honestly don't see any of the altcoins to be a viable alternative investment to bitcoin in long term.
however i completely agree that they are awesome short term investment even better than bitcoin when you look at them during the pumps. for example i have made 60% profit yesterday from LTC and today i made about the same percentage with XRP and now i am back in bitcoin holding it.

and all the rest of the so called "viable" investments are getting dumped the two bigger coins which made a noise have dumped down -44.3% and -20% which is a lot of money lost for those who stuck around and those who continue to do so will lose even more!

in the end when the dust settles you will see that ALL of them are pump and dump and there is only bitcoin that survives and continues going up.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PBOC Tougher on Margin Trading? on: March 31, 2017, 09:06:42 AM
Huobi’s BitVC is going to close CNY spot and USD spot trading at 12:00 April 1st (GMT+8) due to company business adjustments. And they ask clients to convert fiat asset into bitcoin or litecoin and return margin before 12:00 April 1st. Does this mark another round of tough policies on margin trading by PBOC?
Here is the news:http://news.8btc.com/huobis-bitvc-going-to-close-cny-spot-and-usd-spot-trading-at-1200-april1st
Could they not just add Tether and do away with Fiat?
Using Fiat on an exchange seems to be troublesome with regulators, it makes they a constant switch point between crypto and fiat, which is the tax point and the normal point of regulation.

There must be a CNY tether available too, if they use that, then they can massively reduce the amount of cash trading they have, the PBOC will be happy and we will be happy!

it is still tied to fiat and not even CNY fiat (i think there is a equivalent bitCNY thingy) and that will still need verification. and these regulations aren't because of fiat it is mostly done to prevent illegal activities on exchanges.

and why is it trouble for bitcoin traders but there is no trouble for Forex traders!!
2335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Flippening Is Happning on: March 29, 2017, 08:31:21 AM
Unlimited supply means ~100mil tokens for you ? Smart specimen.

ETH is inflationary, after PoS casper inflation will be added so it will never have a limited amount of supply. They didnt even decide on what the inflation will be. Not a long term holder coin.

the whole point of ethereum, meaning the basic thing they have started their coin on was to have a big supply so that with that big supply they could have a fake market cap and because of having a big market cap stay on top (number 2) and on top of the news.

that is also why they never thought or said anything about the max hence the unlimited supply for now.
if things become hard to manage and sell pressure becomes big they will flip the switch once again and hard fork. the only positive side is that we can see our coins double.
2336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about future of Monero? on: March 29, 2017, 08:26:08 AM
I purchased it $24 but do i must hold or, sell it and buy another?
$24?
hold, what do you have to lose! 24 bucks. don't worry about it at all. hold and enjoy even if price goes down you only lose a couple of bucks ($4!) and if it goes up you again make small couple of bucks ($2!) Cheesy
monero is a good coin anyways, and although it has been pumped recently but i don't think it is the end of the rise.

Quote
I also think if btc go to hell, than china money would be invested in Monero, because their money is black money.

what do you think?
i think you are trolling Wink
2337  Economy / Economics / Re: SHOCKER: SEC denies SolidX Bitocin ETF Proposal on: March 29, 2017, 08:19:08 AM
and again, who cares Wink
the other ETF didn't do anything for us and this one and the other ones in the future aren't going to do anything either. even if it were approved it is a third party selling "promise" not the real thing. it may be a tiny bit better to show bitcoin as a legit investment but i can not see how that can have any kind of significant effect either with approval or without.
2338  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price forecast 2017 on: March 29, 2017, 08:04:46 AM
we are experiencing a bear market in my opinion and it looks like one of the longer ones these days. with all the FUD and the crap that has been around lately the price seems to be staying low at $1000 range for the time being.

but in this year, in long term i am expecting this period to end in 1 month tops and then price will start a new faster rise. by the end of the year we can expect a $1500 price at the very least. but if things get better and the sell pressure is removed sooner we can even expect a $1800-$1900 price too.
2339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the potential of BTC is over on: March 29, 2017, 07:58:44 AM
i don't know about you but when i chose bitcoin i didn't choose it because of its fees, i admit the low fees is a good feature and it is still pretty low compared to any other method that we can use to transfer money.

i chose bitcoin because it is decentralized and nobody can control it, it is secure and it is being distributed fairly and without any sort of scam that altcoins have such as premine.

and from your comment i think you don't know what real potential is. you should take a look at the real world and the real usage of bitcoin instead of reading the altcoin pump scripts.
2340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: March 28, 2017, 09:59:47 AM
it is funny how a topic from exactly 1 year ago is still applicable today. it seems like people don't want to learn, as if they are resisting to learn something from their mistakes and mistakes of others and are still falling for the same pump and dump over and over again!

each day i open bittrex to check on my orders i see another -10% drop in ETH in red color right on top of the dumping list.
