241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bitcoin wallet suddenly activates after 11 years on: March 11, 2022, 09:35:13 PM
This is nothing new. It is often seen that these old wallets become active. Maybe its have been used as a cold wallet of an exchange or A big whale may be transferring funds, to create volatility in the market. No worries, the Bitcoin market is now very strong at $30K, I don't see any fear of it going down.

Whatever the case may be, let's just be prepared and see what happens next. Kindly share it to us if you stumble upon articles like this, I haven't seen much of these old accounts getting activated just recently after a long years.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest in? on: March 11, 2022, 03:06:00 PM
What's the best coin as of right now to invest in?

Bitcoin is the best, or in short just go to coinmarketcap and see what is in the top 20. There are a lot of choices, with details such as market cap, daily vol. of trade and more. I have Ethereum and I think you must also have it, my own personal thoughts though.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best casinos that gives dividends to token holders? on: March 11, 2022, 01:58:08 PM
There is an old gambling page that wasnt mentioned here yet - https://bethash.io/. They even have a topic here, but they are not very active there.

I have registered there years ago and received HPoints for registration (they continue to give this bonus even now). I dont remember right now, but I think I have used them to get HASH and stake them. Staking gives daily rewards. Since I did not gamble there, I gont get much. But gamblers get HPoints for wager.

Here are my stats:

Every 2-4 weeks I remember about bethash, open it and claim my rewards.

How many do I have to stake to get these same amount of bonuses? Or maybe nearer to this, even a little bit much is okay too. I never had been in staking  with gambling sites, all I did was exchanges so might try it sometime.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way stop receiving BSC airdrop tokens? on: March 10, 2022, 11:37:34 PM
Hello friends

please is there any possible way to stop receiving some BSC based token after performing a transaction or initiating swap.
i recently noticed that each time i perform any of these i m being sent some free token to my wallet and i began to wonder how come about those free coin and it can not be converted for any reasons, usually with high values and fake volume.

i m sure you understand what i meant as many of us here uses BSC for transactions and to receive payments, any solution Undecided?

Would it do you any harm to let it stay in there? I have been receiving too and surely most of us in here. I don't really know how this happened in the first place but it then later on come to accept it. One day maybe those coins would be available for you and you would thank them later.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: March 10, 2022, 10:50:43 PM

In reality, Most of the CEO or executives of the project is not well verse on smart contract coding. They are just creating idea that will be implement on smart contract. They are just hiring smart contract developers for the coding and other personnel for the technical side of the project. The owner of the project is not necessary required to know smart contract as long as they have the project idea then they can run properly the project with the right developer.

The problem is if the hired coders have back up plans in case the project succeeded, getting ahead of their boss and hogging all the credits. The CEO should think be making rules if this happens, a contract that if the staffs do something unusual they would be sued. CEO should've been a coder or an engineer, for he will check most of the codes himself, this is the best way to avoid such things.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 10, 2022, 10:04:05 PM

Same is our stance on everything in life including gambling. We do whatever we like but we do not want our children to do the same things. If parents didn't gamble in the first place, there are fewer chances of their children doing the same.

Damn true, that is why as much as possible we show to them good sides and not the bad ones. This starts when they are little kids, they save memories and what comes to their mind at that age will be remembered for a lifetime. If your children sees you as a gambler, possibility is, they would also be gamblers in the future, so teach them not to be at the young age and the chances would be minimum. I know someone, a hard gambler and his parents are not. So another factor is the community where you raise your children, they could get the habit of gambling with friends and other people they mingle with. Really better to try being a strict parent and see what they up into.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: All-in-one desktop computer can do a thing? on: March 09, 2022, 11:51:14 PM
I have a all in one desktop computer with Intel iris xe graphics, the CPU is i5 1135G7 it's a MSI computer can I use this for mining at all?

Intel Core i5-1135G7 4C/8T 2.4-4.2 GHz 8MB Cache
Intel Iris Xe
8GB DDR4 (1 x 8GB) 3200 MHz | 2x DDR4 2666/3200MHz SO-DIMM, up to 32GB
256GB M.2 NVMe
WiFi 6 (802.11ax) 2.4Gbps Dual Band 2.4GHz, 5GHz

Do you have a target profit daily? I would recommend you not to mine, it will be a waste of time. Unless if you are willing to wait years, because your current set up is only good for CPU minable coins, and they are just cents in value. I would rather use it for other purposes rather than mine and get it broken.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to sell? on: March 09, 2022, 10:47:48 PM

Basically i just want to sell to shift the money to other coins aiming to have 50% on Metaverse-Tokens and 50% on standard coins.

Probably my worst holding is Cardano (ADA), but im quite unsure about what else to sell ... probably Polkadot (DOT) ?

I gave up on this too (ADA) last year and I was lost 20% of my total investments, but then just recently it jumped to more than a dollar and I could've gained more. I waited two years for that and it just took less than 2 months to regret it. I think you should think twice about selling one of them, and instead add more to your investments with fiat.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Never expect you to be rich without investment on: March 09, 2022, 10:15:39 PM
"I was not born into a rich family, nor am I one who will receive much inheritance from my parents and I have to work hard to make ends meet." At least that's a sentence from my friend that inspired me to make this thread.

I honestly feel that the sentence above is one of the saddest sentences to hear when someone starts talking about their economic condition. It is clear that everyone is obliged to work to support himself and his family, but when they neglect investment then I believe that these people will never get rich except by a miracle of God.

Investing I mean not just crypto investing, but any investment he likes. This allows one to make good profits in the future. That is, the more assets that can be invested, the greater the bright hope for the future. I've heard stories about investing $1000 in crypto making someone a billionaire before (in our fiat currency), and it's a fact to say that don't expect to get rich without investing unless you are the heir to rich parents.

This is somehow the case for most of the people. They earn and save the money in a safe place and not growing it. I was like this before and never I have thought about investing. Years passed and I have learned knowledge about economics and stuffs', the money you save will have a lesser value in time because of inflation. So I decided to get out of that comfort zone, and get a hold of myself in case I lost all the money that I have. Now I never regret that moment in life, I have changed and ready to take all the hardships, because I was afraid of that. Knowledge is the key to get where you wanna be. I was told that it was money but that is for some slacking people. I have known so many entrepreneurs with no money so start a business but gained it through knowledge, hard work and perseverance that they had, and they are one of my mentors in life. Now somehow we are on a right track on our investments, and we wanna invest more with what we currently have.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Ladies League Organizes Her First Online Blockchain Event on: March 09, 2022, 01:05:18 PM
Women's day wishes, and this year more number of women's day celebrations were there. More organisations and groups have come forward bringing in the women. Crypto industry is something interesting, but women find it hard to be a part for few reasons. Women wants something interesting as gold ornaments, silver and other forms of valuables. Lacking this is the reason for the participation of women into crypto space. I came across another event for this women's day where the group founder have come forward with the motto of bringing 100k girls into crypto space.

Crypto queens

It depends on the race, different women have different likes, I can't argue that most of them loves glittering object, but here in our place, it is different. Maybe the surroundings or the community get them to where they are. You know they like gambling here, with their amigas they called. Name the games, card, dominos, Bingos, and all sorts. I think if they were introduce to Bitcoin, they would be asking if there are gambling sites to play with BTC. Maybe they lack something to kill their time, and they are mostly staying at home and bored while their spouse are at work. I once taught my wife about crypto, but later on she decided to quit because of the price fall way back 2018 of March. Aside from that she is busy, a public servant and at the same time a business woman. I was happy when she got her first Bitcoin and held it for about 4 months, and the moment the crash happens, she got sad and decided to leave, too bad I am the only one left in the family who is crypto enthusiast.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation is here Why is not Bitcoin Saving Us? on: March 09, 2022, 07:50:30 AM
So the case of Inflation has finally hit the world head on.
Bitcoin was supposed to be the solution to all of this.
How come Bitcoin has not come to save us yet.?

Why are we not being able to hedge against the inflation and prevent this from happening.

Inflation is very ugly, yet no one is doing anything about it.

why is that?

It is not bitcoin's fault, it has never been. Bitcoin is just an alternative, meant to be use for P2P transactions, and the technology it brought. Inflation is unstoppable and you just can't feel the change in just a single day. Most of all country experiencing inflation even the greatest country you've ever known. Either you increase your wealth to go with the flow or remain like what you are right now putting blame on Bitcoin and other things because your money's purchasing power is getting weaker.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs disrupt the traditional economy? on: March 08, 2022, 11:59:30 PM
Dear all,

We are working on NFT ticketing, Utility NFTs with partners (hotels, artistic venues, tourist places,...), art NFTs,...

But we would like your opinion on what you think is important we focus next.

So, What industries do you think are going to be the most disrupted by NFTS? Music? Sports? Insurances?

The answer to the topic is "Yes", it is most likely possible, but you are not making any sense, you are promoting your NTF project and asking for advices, this is like a click bait, and advertisement rather than a discussion.

NFT is more than that as NFT itself is just a technology and doesn’t get fixated only for paintings and arts, it could quite literally be used
anywhere.

True, I love games, online games for specific. I love to see how NFT world enters this. I want to experience (if possible) looting NFT's on an online game. I see recently NFT are somewhat attached to paintings and they are totally wrong.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Alts Follows Bitcoin's Fall? on: March 08, 2022, 11:34:48 PM
When bitcoin rises, the altcoins keep the price and if when the bitcoin falls the altcoins fall even more. Why do altcoins usually follow bitcoin?

Because bitcoin is the founding leader of all coins. It covers most of the market capitalization of entire crypto currencies though it is flank by many competitors. Bitcoin dominates and almost all of the Alts are typically measured by bitcoin. If new coins are listed, it's either BTC or Eth paired, that is why when BTC rises, most of the coins rise too.

In some parts of the world, where you can't purchase other alts with Fiat, so you buy BTC first to buy that certain alt, and it applies the same when you want to cash it out to fiat. Good thing in my country we can do it in some few alts, directly with no need to trade for bitcoin. Somehow Bitcoin became a median between alts and fiat in some cases.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best way to start a new erc 20 coin on: March 08, 2022, 10:36:32 PM
search function is slow on the site.

I don't know how what do you mean by this but it is well functioning for me. But hey, this isn't google that could give you answers and links to things that you want, sorry.

You can at least buy copper membership if you are planning to use your account to moderate the thread's company you are making. Build a team based on the budget you have. The more experienced team the better, but cost more money. Specify the project you want to make, start slow and don't rush things. I think a good product is worth investing these days, long term investment is better than pump and dump ones. By the way, what network would your project be in?
255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police can confiscate refugees' valuables. bitcoin not affected... on: March 08, 2022, 05:10:55 PM
These days people keep asking where does bitcoin come in amidst the conflicts such as the one in Ukraine. Here is another case:
In Denmark, there is a law that allows police to forcefully take anything refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, ... have that is worth more than ~$1k to supposedly "funds their stay". It's known as the "jewelry law".
Meanwhile bitcoin doesn't take up any space, it can be 12 words that you memorize or write down in a book spread among pages without anybody knowing what it is and can not be confiscated. All one's net-worth could be carried around like this. Grin

That is one brilliant way to avoid those who take advantage of the situation. If I were a refugee, I would use a book to store the code, maybe in different pages and write down the numbers or memorize them. This somehow is hard for elderly, memorizing isn't their thing anymore. Problem is if the police are aware of crypto currencies, so writing down those back up phrases should be done in a discreet way. This war somehow made us aware that this could happen to us anytime, and we can even prepare ourselves ahead if this struct one of us. Making ahead on this matter and discussing things like these is a positivity and weapon to each of us in here, knowing what to do next.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Currency Game on: March 08, 2022, 01:36:44 PM
Actually I was trying to know if such game exist. I like to play such game if it exist. I have seen other bet games but not seen the Bitcoin game.

And I was referring to a game called "Crypto currencies Game".

Is this even gambling related?

There are so many games that you create what you own (NFT), example of that is Axie infinity. You breed two monsters to get one. It is not given and you can have it as much as you want but with the required amount of AXS and SLP.

I don't really know what OP is trying to point out, I too have ideas on games and just like bitcoin, items could also be mined through blockchain. I hope somebody or company will create an MMORPG that has no Auto Pilots and stuffs (MIR), games are made for fun. I want to venture with the current free time I have and not by the bots. It isn't exciting at all. They could develop exciting games with more features, like a gambling tavern or PUB for adventurers is the game where they could bet their loots. I guess the targeted consumers are Mobile Phone users, it is portable and easy to launch the game anytime.

In Dota 2, I am still playing this game at present. There is a third party site that you can bet your in-game items for the opponents. Putting something important that you hold at stake will get you even better at playing a traditional game. The case is we cannot do this on gambling site and we just rely on our luck.
257  Economy / Economics / Re: More destruction of Ukraine territory and economy going on on: March 08, 2022, 01:10:57 PM

Russia is already experiencing serious problems in terms of troops, ammunition, and logistics. After all, Putin and his entourage expected to completely occupy Ukraine in a maximum of four days. They are already beginning to understand that they cannot win this war.

I just can't easily believe on this chart, is this somehow came from legit source? I mean if the Ukraine's Defense Minister said this, it could also be lies to boost the morale of their soldiers, or show other countries that they can do it and with a little bit of help from others they could destroy Russia totally. It is obvious that their President is seeking help, day by day. That means he is in dire situation and even released some prisoners to fight back. Also Putin is not dumb, going to war that he cannot win is unlikely to happen. He meant it when he said there will be no winners, he is suicidal and by any chance he loses this, that Red button is most likely to be pushed.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Your wealth and options during the bad times on: March 07, 2022, 11:20:36 PM

Safe places locations are:
Monaco, south france, st tropez cannes, italy some part of italy like porto cervo switzerland.
Those places will be untouched and banking system all others willl work fine there if you go there there one person have enough money to feed all country also you can get drive to ferrari or yacht for free as they have so many yachts and luxury cars they can just give away.
And off course during world wars those places never touched but also who sell military equipment for everyone and organize merchants..dont ask where are they located.

By the time you find out what is our world really are it will be too late for you.

Conspiracy theory or not, not all the people in the world will have the means to go there. Even if they have, they would probably be questioned on what purpose of the travel is. The local authorities there would be alerted when so much people go there to take cover. They would lock it to tourist if your theory is right as they could not accommodate people in the world. Another is money will not be worth anything when there will be no more farmers, common workers that are assigned to produce food. It will just be a piece of paper, even crypto would not survive, we couldn't eat computers and gadgets that hold our assets could we?
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: March 07, 2022, 02:15:25 PM
How about this for an improvement: BTC mining vs. BTC possession. Moreover, what is the reason?

In other words, if I had a 40k right now, should I buy a model such as the Antminer L7, for instance? Purchase a single bitcoin, if that is your preference.

Buying bitcoin is less work and you don't need to scratched your head if something went wrong, even the market falls, you could just wait for it to gain it's momentum back. Unlike mining, you will have to think about so many things, electricity, temperature, maintaining the condition of the rig, and lists goes on. I don't discourage you from mining, I am too a miner, but I somehow used electricity for free, and I won't tell you how did I do this because it is illegal and I am not promoting it. I love mining, the sound of those fans, I can't explain it. It is like a hobby for me, but for you I guess you want a passive income out of it. Another reason I mined is because I am a weak holder of coins, I never really had hold so long and sold most of it cutting my loses. So I quit being a holder and find peace in mining. I am mining since 2017 and my rigs are well and healthy, giving me decent profits. Hope you can decide base on what you really like, sending lots of love and peace, mining is fun for me brother and hope you choose it.
260  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's effect on IT sector? on: March 06, 2022, 05:53:02 PM
For Russia's war with Ukraine, the west put heavy sanctions on Russia. That means export and import with Russia is not accessible. Data shows Russia is the biggest exporter of raw materials like copper, aluminum, nickel, platinum, palladium, etc which is used in chip making. That means we are expecting more delays in the semiconductor industry. We all know how important this staff is to run electronic devices. Disruption on-chip shortages could spike the price of digital devices too which affects globally. Is that a good idea to push Russia out of the world economy? This sanction of the west could have a boomerang effect?

Why should we worry about that boomerang effect? We should be talking about how would they respond with those sanctions. There's no need for chips anymore if Putin pressed that red button. No need for devices as such, there will be less humans walking on the surface of the earth. I think this is a time for us to worry about starting to dig our tunnels if we still want to survive. This is crucial moment and also, the food will be scarce, can't have those chips be in my stomach. These greedy war mongers don't give a shit about us common folks. That is why I am starting to be independent, plant your food and Don't rely on them too much, we can still live without those chips and oil.
