242  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: September 30, 2015, 01:38:25 PM
What kind of plug comes standard on the R1?  Any other sources for the US adapter since it's sold out on Bitmain?

You can get them on ebay for around $1 shipped from China. Might take a while though.

247  Economy / Computer hardware / SOLD - S7s in hand - 8.12 BTC on: September 24, 2015, 04:51:14 AM
I have a few S7s in hand that I'm willing to sell at purchase price. They are a bit louder than I had hoped.

8.12 BTC each plus shipping.
PM if interested.
248  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S7 is available at bitmaintech.com with 4.86TH/s, 0.25J/GH on: September 23, 2015, 07:42:01 PM
I have a lot of EVGA 1300 G2's so I swapped 1x single pcie for a branch pcie and used a $6 splitter on another of the single pcie.

I would recommend getting your splitters on amazon before they sell out.  You will need 2x of them in addition to the standard G2 cable set.

Have you tried just using 2/3 pcie connectors on each board?
249  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 23, 2015, 01:59:54 PM
What a beast! Wish I could run one at home. Perhaps if I switch it out with my AC unit...

Looking forward to an SP40 with lower specs and buyers remorse on my S7s.
250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 17, 2015, 01:07:47 AM

When you are having to restart is it just restarting the cgminer?  Or do you physically have to power the U3's?

I'm hoping the first if so I might be able to write a batch file for it.  If have to physically power the U3's the batch file would do no good.

You have to physically de-power the U3 (both usb and 12V).  Unplug, count to 5, plug back in.  Sometime I had to do that more than once to get them going again.
This is not the case for me. I just have to unplug and replug the usb port only. Someone in this thread mentioned disabling the usb port with a script via the OS then re-enabling it.
251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: September 13, 2015, 04:48:40 PM
I think the PSU makes a big difference as well. There is some quality variability on the PSUs sent from Bitmain, but I've noticed that the units I have running with their PSU zombie out much more often than the units I have running off of an ATX breakout board and corsair PSU. I like the idea of a script that disables and re-enables the USB port.

so have any of you guys got the correct adapters so i connect these boards to a Pi.

How reliable are these boards ? wasnt there a recall due to them not performing well or at my boards at v1.2 a good revision ?

cheers

Looks like a Prisma 1.0 board to me. Send me a PM if you are interested in an adapter.

255  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: what happens to the bitcoin mining hardware after reaching Algorithmic maximum ? on: September 12, 2015, 04:23:10 AM
By 2060 we should be able to upload our consiousness to server farms where we can live forever digitally. Around the same time, Bitmain will be releasing the S2000, for 18.6 million USD(inflation...), which will allow miners to live inside the blockchain.  Buyers of the S1999 will be offered $100 coupons.
256  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Pacific V3 3.2Th, 0.8W/Gh on: September 09, 2015, 09:56:38 PM
I don't think a standard cp2102 adapter works with prisma boards. I have a few ASICMINER adapters left over, and I think sidehack/novak still have some of their custom made adapters available.
257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Pacific V3 3.2Th, 0.8W/Gh on: September 09, 2015, 05:11:32 PM
If I remember correctly, these are just Prisma 1.0 boards in a rack-mountable enclosure. If that's the case, you should be able to use a uart adapter and  mine off an rpi. See if there is a version number on the top right of your hashing boards. Should be 1.0,1.1,1.2 or something like that...
