The reason I asked is because I have an EVGA 1300 and I have 8 pcie cables coming out of it, I just didn't remember if I had pulled extra cables from another EVGA 1300. So the dilimma with that PSU is not a limit on the number of pcie connectors on the PSU, but the number of cables that they provide by default . You just need to find someone that sells aftermarket pcie cables that are compatible with the EVGA 1300 and order 2 for each unit.
Forgive my ignorance here but where did you plug the extra 2 cables on the power supply? I might be thinking of my corsair 1200. how many 4 pin molex adapters does it come with? If 4 separate cables for molex, you could buy 2 molex to pcie adapters. Youll need the pcie connector split from two seperate 4 pin molex on two different cables

How did you get 8 Cables on an EVGA 1300? I guess you had some around? Do those EVGA PSU come with 8 pcie connectors? I would recommend using all 8 connectors to lower the load on each cable. If you are only using 4 of the connectors, make sure the cables and connection points aren't getting hot. You are drawing about 250 watts through each cable with 4, so make sure they are high quality 16 guage and bump up to 8 if possible, or risk melting the cables or connectors.
Okay did some rearranging. Thanks for the advice CrazyGuy I was starting to get concerned about the heat, but now with 8 cables all is well. This does put me in a bind though as far as my psu choice is concerned. Sorry for not explaining. I didn't. I moved the 1300 up to power 3 S3's and am using my EVGA 1500 for the Prisma, it has 8 cables. I'm still in a bind here though because I have 2 1300's coming today and 2 more prismas to power. I got my first 2 from batch 1. I just have 1 up and running my additional psu's should be here later today. EVGA 1300 G2 the cables are a little warm but it seems to powering it. The BE Controller didn't come with a power brick (not CrazyGuy's fault). It is fairly loud. So the fan doesn't adjust? It just going at the same speed (high) constantly. Do those EVGA PSU come with 8 pcie connectors? I would recommend using all 8 connectors to lower the load on each cable. Couple things I forgot to mention, looks like the Ape figured it out on his own.
1) The prisma and Tube BE controller are the same, but tube controllers are setup by default at a frequency of 270. If you receive a tube controller, drop the frequency down to 240 before connecting a prisma. 2) BE controller's default address is 192.168.0.254. The easiest way to access it the first time is by connecting to your PC or laptop via crossover cable or put it on a network with the same subnet. 3) BE controllers require a power source of their own. They can reliably handle anywhere from 5v-12v. I have tested with both a 5v 2a and 12v 1a power adapter. The power adapter will need to have a 2.5mm barrel connector. 4) The BE controller supports ghash.io and slush by default. BTC GUILD and ckpool are also supported, but they use different addresses for tubes and prismas. See dogie's tube guide for more info on supported pools.

I now have tracking for batch 2.
I've added final shipping dimensions and weight to the second post. Also, after a bit of head scratching, I've figured out that AM reversed the order of the 5 bit switch in comparison to the Tube. Adding to that the limitation of a 4 bit configurable address space.
Here's what you need to know:
1) Each physical board has two addresses in a 5 bit address space. Only 4 of those bits are configurable. Boards 01-16 are paired with logical boards 17-32, starting with the first switch configuration(0000). This results in the first physical board having an address of 01 and 17 2) Boards must be chained in incremental order. (Example: 01:17,02:18,03:19,04:20,05:21...) 3) The least significant bit is reversed from the tube, with the tube's last switch,"5", being the least significant bit and the Prisma's first switch ,"1", being the least significant bit. Off and on still refer to 0 and 1 respectively.
Warning: Leave Switch 5 alone! If you set it on for any board, the controller will not see any boards in your chain.
Example switch configuration. ( "X" is OFF, "O" is on)
Board 1: (01:17) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X X X X X
Board 2: (02:18) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O X X X X
Board 3: (03:19) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X O X X X
Board 4: (04:20) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O O X X X
Board 5: (05:21) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X X O X X
Board 6: (06:22) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O X O X X
Board 7: (07:23) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X O O X X
Board 8: (08:24) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O O O X X
Board 9: (09:25) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X X X O X
Board 10: (10:26) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O X X O X
Board 11: (11:27) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X O X O X
Board 12: (12:28) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O O X O X
Board 13: (13:29) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X X O O X
Board 14: (14:30) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O X O O X
Board 15: (15:31) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: X O O O X
Board 16: (16:32) Switch : 1 2 3 4 5 Setting: O O O O X

Batch 1 has been dropped off at the post office. I hope to have an update on remaining batches soon.

Thanks for all the responses. That's good to hear because I bought 3 of those 1300's. I posted this in friedcats thread I thought I would ask here as well. Assuming that adapter is compatible, it would be some combination of the data pins. 3.3v and 5V should be unnecessary.

Do you think an EVGA 1300G2 will run one of these?
Also how loud is it? Say compared to those Dell 750's (God Damn hair dryers) you are using to power them? My girlfriend may be upset when she hears them.
That PSU should work 1 to 1. I'd be lying if I said they were quiet. The fan is pretty robust as it has to cool a very long device. I'd put it on part with the RKBOX fan.

Sweet... any chance you could hook it up to a Kill-A-Watt? Running via 2 dell 750w server power supplies from sidehack on a 220v circuit. My PDU shows 5.4 amps, so that should be around 1188 watts. Assuming it averages up to 1474 gh/s, that gets us to about .8 watts per gh at the wall. Should be a bit better if you drop down to one efficient PSU.

1 Prisma shows as 8 boards, which explains the 4bit address space. After 25 minutes running. Lot's of padding.

The power of self moderation. I didn’t think that image would last long.
I support robot love, I'm just not sure everyone wants to see it.

When two tubes get together they make baby rboxes.

I'm confused, you need to buy "4 units" to get 1400 hash rate?
I'mean selling full prisma's, not single boards. You would not need to buy 4 units.

Thanks... Are we still looking at shipping by October 28th even for Batch 5?
I've been told that DHL is the cause of shipping delays. UPS shipments have made it into the US without issue and will be used on all shipments going forward. I have ensured that all of my batch 1 customers will receive compensation for the delay.

How are we looking for Batch 5? If I place an order, will it be ordered on Sunday as planned? Also, what's the status of shipment on previous Batches? Thanks,
On batch 5, if we don't reach 10 by Sunday, I will buy up the remaining spots and put the order in. I have tracking for batch 1 but I haven't seen any updates. With DHL international I've had instances where the tracking doesn't update until they arrive in the states. I'm hoping any day now.
