241  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please Put Spamming & Scamming (Auto translate) Justin Dowman in Red on: February 27, 2018, 01:06:12 PM
The account Logger is most likely a bought or hacked account.
Logger's last active is from June 22nd 2015, after that the account suddenly reappears on February 12th 2018 and start spam posting accross the forum with one liners.
This is very different when compared to post made in 2015 or its vocabulary.
Same thing with AtomicDoge, woke up from long period of inactivity and different wording of posts.

It would be great if DT members can investigate whether these 2 IDs are bought or not and possibly -neg it Smiley

Well, his "new" Korean translator makes several typos so no, it's not professional.

Hopefully the warnings are enough on their thread to prevent people getting a poor service. Though, it does seem that this sort of scam/poor service is rife in the local boards specifically. If you know someone who is Korean and also has a good reputation then you could get them to have a look and judge the translations and possibly give a negative if they think it's justified.
I don't think anyone is sane enough to take his "service", the only users whose asking for a price are most likely his alts.

Yes, the discussion has been going on here as well. But when I reported to the moderator, it has been marked as inaccurate so I think they think his group's translation is "good" enough. Everybody in our Korean translation group thinks it's auto translated. I realized that it has been fixed later. It still has some typos and etc though.
Mods don't deal with bad service, that's why DT system are here.

242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥New Bitcoin Hard Fork coming soon. How do I get it? on: February 26, 2018, 01:53:39 AM
Here is Loyce's guide on claiming Bitcoin forks
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2836875.0

Please do mind that Loyce only listed Bitcoin Fork that has Wallet and exchange support.
Bitcoin Forks has been a trend that keeps happening since Bitcoin Cash, not all forks are created to modify Bitcoin and make it arguably better.
Some forks are a scam and just a copy and paste project, please be careful with any Bitcoin Fork Wallet you've downloaded as it could be a malware, just to be safe run it through sandbox to prevent any unwanted circumstances.

If you want to see the whole Forks then visit
http://forks.net/

If you want to know whether your address holds and forked Bitcoin,  you can search it using either one of these options:
http://www.findmycoins.ninja/
http://www.walletchecker.com
243  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New site, need feedback please... on: February 26, 2018, 01:36:08 AM
I already found a similar sites few days ago, but having an alternative are always fine Smiley
Is it possible for you to add Segwit Support ?

I tried to search for my Segwit address for a possible fork coins hidden inside, but your explorer doesn't seem to support segwit address.
I'm using Electrum and it uses Bench32 format for its segwit address, such as :
bc1qym78hdnecywtyzrdyhme8j3hthr6kr04xk9xp0

Will be looking forward for any improvements in the future Smiley
244  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did Huobi Steal My Money? on: February 26, 2018, 01:25:37 AM
Did you copy and paste the email from Huobi?
It's a very broken English if it did come from Huobi, their support are pretty decent in English and I wouldn't think that Email comes from them.
Can you check your browser history and make sure that you've visited Huobi and not a phishing websites?
There has been reports of Phishing websites imposing as Huobi.

Quote
3. If I sent this money from another exchange (Bitstamp) can it find its way back?
ETH transactions are irreversible, meaning that once it has been sent, there's no way to recall it back.
So right now your ETH are in "Huobi" address and only them can send it back to you.
245  Other / Meta / Re: unlock account on: February 26, 2018, 01:07:29 AM
I don't think I ever added a bitcoin address to that account. If there was one can you let me know what it was? I'll look around to see if I can find it to sign a message.

Some other coin addy may work as long as you can sign a message using an unedited post with that addy.
I just take a look at OP's post history, no personal address posted there.

@OP
Did you lose your password, banned from the forum or triggered security measures ?
I see your last three posts are literally just "+1", This is enough reason for Mods to ban or warn your account for spam.
Anyway, I'd be impossible to recover your account without any signed message anyway  Undecided
246  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack is stealing my winnings on: February 26, 2018, 12:56:59 AM
Why don't you open a scam accusation on them and post some screenshots so people can actually tell if you're telling the truth or making this up? That's the only way to prove what you're saying is true, so if you don't have it then you're at the mercy of fortune jack to act honestly.
Where do you think this topic were posted in ?

I see FJ is getting put on rogue lists on other gaming forums now.

http://www.gamblinggrumbles.com/Reports/FortuneJack-Casino_no-violation-and-no-payment
That is just an article explaining OP's problem and concern with FortuneJack, I don't think it's gonna affect FortuneJack in any way, they are big enough to not get taken down by an article alone.

@OP
Please use this format in addition of your story, it's the rules for this sub-forum

248  Other / Meta / Re: Multiple accounts? on: February 25, 2018, 10:58:50 AM
In my opinion enrolling into the same campaign is cheating, enrolling alt accounts into different campaigns is not cheating.
It is like doing few jobs. You can't work for one employer and receive 5 salaries, but after you do 8 hour shift, you can work for another employer and receive second, third etc salary.
Enrolling alts into different campaign is still cheating in my book.
It doesn't change the fact that it takes away other member's chance of joining fairly, and it still leads to a massive spams.
If I enrolled in Campaign A with 25 posts/week requirements and I had alts enrolled in Campaign B with 20 posts/week
Meaning that I need to create at least 45 posts/week, even in my prime I can't create that many posts each week while maintaining a good post quality.

Here's a post from last year about having multiple alts, possibly to farm it and sell it at later date or enroll it in signature campaigns

249  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YOBIT support please reply to me, i am getting desperate !! on: February 24, 2018, 08:29:59 PM
If someone from Yobit is watching , plz pm me to discuss my issue.

The only person that is able to solve these kind of matters is the operator of Yobit himself. It has been a one man show for years now. Before crypto started to really boom he could still somewhat handle everything comfortably, but that changed dramatically after the massive influx of new market participants. Yobit's 'support' has no ability to provide any actual help - the only thing they can do is provide you with text based information, and that's really it. There is literally nothing you can do other than to keep contacting Yobit through the usual ways (ie, mail, forum, twitter), and patiently wait till the day comes your matter gets hopefully solved.
Which is a stupid thing to do, when Yobit gain popularity through the community they will need to hire more people or even some sort of system to automate customer's query.
I think this is done on purpose, especially since they are putting signature ads on the forum, they should anticipate the growing numbers of their customers.
If this keeps happening I don't think Yobit will last through 2018, their customers are going to boycott someday Roll Eyes

This is also the first time I hear that the Customer Service that were supposed to help the customers can't help the customer, only thing they can do is to give their customers a few pharagraph of texts to calm them down Tongue
250  Economy / Reputation / Re: I need your advice. Administration is powerless. on: February 24, 2018, 08:06:34 PM
And then another question: how to earn a positive "trust"? I asked my clients to write me a positive opinion, but they do not count.
Only users on DT list that will actually change your trust points, but that doesn't mean you should PM DT members and begging for +trust (You are asking for more -neg at that point).
If you think your -neg trust are not fair, try to PM the one who gave you the -neg and ask him for a discussion here.
251  Other / Meta / Re: Multiple accounts? on: February 24, 2018, 12:31:08 PM
Well there are numerous reasons. Maybe you want one business and one personal account and not to mix the two. Maybe you might want to sell or talk/promote something that is considered controversial by some or maybe you want to discuss politics etc without it effecting the way people perceive or do business with you here.

Hm, sounds like a quite good reason. Good point.
But you agree that there is no need to have more than 5 accounts for sure? The persons who participate in the bounty campaign with multi accounts, they most likely have more than 5 accounts, and they are posting from all 5 thus increasing the spam level on the whole forum. I would say that technically possible to create limitations based on MAC/Hardware address, for instance, there are 2 accounts allowed per one device. The business people will be happy enough and bounty-cheaters will be down.
Multiple accounts are not prohibited on this forum, you can have 5 accounts as long as you have purposes on creating that many accounts.
What not allowed is to use multiple accounts and enrolls it to a signature/bounty campaign, that is considered cheating (you taking spots of other users) and can lead to a massive spam.

What hilarious described are still normal for multiple account, and are allowed by the community.

to reduce multiple account bounty with merits system is enough, maybe we just wait how effectively this merit system works to reduce spamers
It's already effective, just like at how many people protested at Meta just because they can't create quality posts Tongue
Not counting how many alts are posting on the same topic Meta Roll Eyes
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fee!!?? on: February 24, 2018, 09:32:14 AM
So, where the fee is the lowest?
If you use Desktop wallet you should be able to set your own fee, with current mempool being empty you can send a transaction with 0.5$ fee and it will be confirmed in just a few blocks Smiley
I suggest to move your coins into Segwit enabled address to further cheapen the TX Fee when mempool are being filled again.

The amount of a fee isn't affected by the price of bitcoin.

Depends on how you measure the fee.
With BTC at 10k $ a fee of 0,0001 btc is about 1$.
Considering same amount of TX's, etc.. this would correspond to a 10$ fee with BTC at 100k$.
The fee - in satoshi - isn't affected by the price of BTC, thats right. But the dollar value of the fee is.
Then again, if we're dealing with Bitcoins we shouldn't think about the dollar price unless we are sending it to an exchange to be traded to fiat.
That's one of the reasons why Theymos didn't drop the price to become Donator or VIP, because we're dealing with bitcoins (and also it's not fair for those who already bought it few years back).
253  Economy / Services / Re: LoyceV's Bitcoin Fork claiming guide (and service) on: February 23, 2018, 09:35:42 PM
Is it normal for Bitcoin Forks to have zero to no information at all ?
From the website you shared, Loyce. Apparently I have coins ranging from "Bitcoin Community" "Bitcoin Hot" "Bitcoin Top",etc
I tried to find wallet or exchange for these coins with no avail, Coinmarketcap have no information about it and the only exchange I can find for it were from Yobit (which I hate due to its customer support)

Have you considered adding CLAMS to the list? While not really a fork of bitcoin, every bitcoin address above a certain (very small) balance in May 2014 received a fixed amount of CLAMS in an airdrop
The CLAM airdrop happened before I was into crypto. I can't speak from personal experience, so I won't add it to the OP.
I'll add this here though:
Every person who had Bitcoin at block 300,377, Litecoin at block 565,693, or Dogecoin at block 218,556 was given ~4.6 CLAM.
Yes, it is still waiting on chain for you Smiley
This is currently worth $28 per address which held more than just dust.
Funny enough, when CLAM airdrop first started many users on Bitcointalk would beg for other people's unused private keys Tongue
Some even wanted to buy it for a few dollars
254  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YOBIT support please reply to me, i am getting desperate !! on: February 23, 2018, 06:38:36 PM
Yobit support are known to be slow, it might take weeks or months for them to respond to your Ticket.
There's no other way to contact them, they don't have facebook or any social media account (There's a twitter user called yobit.net but I think it's fake).

Not only that, there's a scam accussation open against Yobit, you might be able to send PM to official Yobit here, but do mind that their last active are from December 2017
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594

Nothin you can do except to wait and hope that Yobit Customer Support replies to your ticket someday, maybe don't use Yobit again next time.
There are many far more reputable exchange than Yobit
255  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk and cloudflare - opera issues on: February 23, 2018, 02:37:34 PM
Bitcointalk has been using Cloudfare for a long time as solution to contsant DDoS attack they've received.
Is it possible for you to use another browser, maybe chrome or Firefox for Mobile?
Opera and its data saving has been known to break websites, besides Chrome has its own data saving and it does that without breaking any compability with Cloudfare.
256  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Vulnerability on electrum 3.0.6? on: February 22, 2018, 11:12:15 PM
Try to check your PC for any malware.
I know a specific type of malware that changes your copy and paste from one address to another one.
That specific address that you didn't choose might be the address from the one who creates that malware.
Did you download or install anything suspicious these past months?
257  Other / Meta / Re: Is it even possible to Merit would be cancelled? on: February 22, 2018, 05:14:36 PM
Is it going to be ok, if I go down on your level and say that both of you just spent my time with your shitty comments without answering the main question of the post?

From other comments I can conclude that merit is permanent and no matter how many users complain, this new system has it won't be cancelled. Thank you!
Just remove signature campaign all together and you won't have any problem with merits anymore Smiley
90% of spammers spams because they get paid by wearing signature, simply removing signature campaign and that 90% will leave from the forum.
Without Spammers, Theymos might remove merit system.

That was a sarcasm in case you didn't notice, Merit are here to stay as it proves to be successfull because Meta section are literally filled with these kind of posts
258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The only CRYPTO debit cards working right now! (EU/EEA Tested) on: February 22, 2018, 01:45:29 PM
Okay that is pretty good review of the crypto debit cards. However I am very concerned about the few things which makes me stop from even trying these cards. I get nervous by the thought that what if I am using the card one day and suddenly there is huge problem on the block chain of that card provider? What if my transaction does not pass through then it could be very shameful for me to stand in the line when the cashier will say your card isn't working dude! Lolz what if anything like that happen. I mean with the MasterCard and visa nothing like that happens and I can ship free minded with that one.

I know this is very wired thought but to be honest we cant trust the crypto currency on such high level! At least not me! But good review.
There's a misconception regarding your use of Bitcoin Debit Card.
In order to use your Debit Card you will need to exchange your coins into USD, which then will be deposited into your card. This exchange are done automatically when you reload your Bitcoin Debit Card by your debit card provider (WireX, Coinsbank, Bitwala, etc). This way, if somehow the blockchain are slow or even stuck, as long as you still have money inside your debit card you can use it freely.

Besides, if the cashier says that there isn't enough balance on your card or "your card isn't working dude" you can just pay with cash in hand, no shame about that.
Unless you had no cash at your pocket, I would be shamed and wash their dishes or something Tongue
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to sell Bitcoin on your Cell Phone from a Paper Wallet on: February 22, 2018, 11:52:37 AM
Updated to add an awesome new website I found to check for forked coins- http://www.findmycoins.ninja/
Wow, thanks for the website, didn't know it exist.
I have 4 electrum wallets and checking fork coins become tedious with dozens of forks happening in a short time.
Just checked I have $600 worth of fork coins in just hundreds of copying pasting.

Now to find the right wallet to claim them all.

Edit: The checker didn't support segwit yet, I can't search for fork coins using my segwit address Sad
260  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Help me please, Armory wasn't configured first time I sent me bitcoins ... on: February 21, 2018, 10:18:14 AM
OMG, you have a point, that is it.  Im so sorry, shame on me.

Thanks a lot, I haven't enough space disk, but I'll try to get it.
If you don't have the connection or disk space to download the whole blockchain, it'd be best if you use SPV wallet instead such as Electrum.
On Electrum all you had to do is to connect to Bitcoin Node and download the latest header, which is only a few megabytes.
I'm sure you can import Armory wallet into Electrum easily in just a few clicks
