Serie A is nothing compared to its former glory and AC Milan are no longer a formidable club.  Serie A is trumped by La Liga, Bundesliga, and the EPL by a wide margin.  I might even put the French league over Serie A at this point.
242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: breaking the triad : facebook / instagram / whatsapp must be splitted on: July 15, 2019, 01:19:16 PM
These three apps are the best products on the market.
This is the reason why people use these products and not others. So it is very difficult to break this monopoly. Only if something new that is a lot of better than the current apps will push people to starting using new products and diminish the old ones.

Any competing platform will just be bought up by Facebook anyways.  A lot of people create companies with their main goal being to sell it to a bigger one and not actually see it through till the end.  The power that Facebook and Google hold is terrifying.
243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of mobile wallets that holds private keys on: July 15, 2019, 01:12:16 PM
I'm against any mobile wallets that holds private keys to themselves, this means they have full access to users funds,I hope people know what danger lies ahead when using such wallets

I don't see the issue if they have a good reputation and established history of good business.  Some people are so clueless when it comes to technology that they are better off with a trusted party holding their private keys so they don't get hacked.

OP and Dig Bicks are trolling alt accounts. They are both entirely full of shit and should be respected as such.

If OP is Nigerian, then I'm an Eskimo (I'm not BTW).

He's a pasty ass northern European, a basement dwelling momma's boy who only ever sees people of different skin color on TV. He's using his alt as an excuse to say fucked up racist shit. God knows why -- maybe a bully took his lunch money again today.

I don't know about all these things, but I am sure if OP was put in a situation confronted by harsh environment, lack of food, being prey to wildlife, lack of tap water, lack of infrastructure, lack of jobs, money, medical facilities, support system etc etc, he would do much worse than people he is accusing of lesser intelligence. So these people would be viewed as superior in intelligence.

Those things are only recently (last 100 years or so) due to the modern economic system.  We are talking about thousands of years in the making.  Tribal people didn't have lack of food back then when animals were abundunt and there was no such thing as jobs and medicine.
245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Who is Satoshi?" Should we put an end to this discussion? on: July 15, 2019, 01:01:42 PM
It does matter, for all we know bitcoin was created as a testing ground for a global currency that the elites want to be in control of.  Maybe one day we could launch a community coin that is fair for everyone this time.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 15, 2019, 12:58:04 PM
I'm starting to think that Novak may end up with more grand slam titles than Roger Federer.  Still can't believe Roger blew that match, that title was in his hand but he choked massively.  The dominance of Federer/Nadal/Djokvic continues with no signs of slowing down.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with mining is that its too easy on: July 11, 2019, 06:53:52 PM
the lower the barrier to entry gets the better it will be for crypto as a whole

Low barrier to entry also means that profit margins will shrink to virtually nothing.  If everyone can enter the mining game profits will continue to dwindle to nothing.  I've seen it on many marketplaces that were very easy to enter the labor force.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 11, 2019, 06:47:50 PM
You can't gauge how good a player is just on goals, there are many things that don't show up on the stat sheet.

Anyone here interested in Major League Soccer (USA league) at all?  Never see anyone discuss the MLS in this thread, its all euro leagues.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: July 11, 2019, 06:39:54 PM
Gambling is in most video games now and that is a sure fire way to get someone started on the road to gambling.  It has next to no regulation since game items aren't considered real currency by governments even though it gets traded on the black mraket.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop glorifying centralized exchanges. on: July 11, 2019, 06:26:57 PM
Very few people care about having a decentralized exchagnes.  Over 99 percent of people are perfectly fine with using credit cards and other centralized services.  There is very little money to even be made off a decentralized exchange.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 10, 2019, 01:33:05 PM
That's a lot of money. He's young and could become a great player in the future, but I feel like I said the same thing about him a few years ago when he was playing for Anderlecht. Huge gamble for Leicester.
In this over inflated transfer market, 40M is now a normal transfer fee for young players who haven't even be already established.
It's a gamble but then again they had to pay the fee or else they would have not got him. They would instead be like Arsenal who spend weeks and weeks bargaining just because they think 45M on Zaha is too much.  Grin

I wouldn't say the market is over priced.  Revenues for clubs have never been higher factoring in television deals and merchandise plus ticket sales.

Without the players there is no product to put out there for the consumers, they have the power and should be compensated fairly for how much money they are bringing in.
252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: July 10, 2019, 01:25:54 PM
I don't really care about merit and why would someone actually pay real money for some type of digital forum point.  It is like buying a high score on the video game which kinda defeats the whole purpose of what you were supposed to earn.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this good for bounty checks? on: July 10, 2019, 01:18:56 PM
Good scammers are able to fake all of those things you mentioned, the fact is you never know if something will turn out to be fraudulent.  Some of the biggest companies in the world and wealthiest people are guilty of fraud and they are watched much more closely, crypto won't be much worse since this is a scammers playground.
254  Other / Off-topic / Re: Black people less evolved? Brain like the monkey? on: July 10, 2019, 01:14:52 PM
I get many mean messages, hurtful stuff but I don't know what to believe.  My Nigerian brothers do look more apelike instead of the whites.  They say we have intelligence like the monkey because less evolved.  I do not know what to think.  What you say?

Cultural and educational differences can be observed within races.

All Homo Sapiens evolved the same way.  We all belong to the same Ape family.

I think you are confused about what evolution is.

Scientifically speaking there would be many differences just based on environment alone.  White people hae lighter skin to absorb more vitamin D from the sun since they are from northern europe while blacks have dark skin since they are in a sunny climate all day and need more protection from the sun.  You can't dispute that and that is just one example.
255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Beware Of Scambots on: July 10, 2019, 01:04:31 PM
I know this scam sounds stupid to a lot of us but if it didn't work they wouldn't be doing it.  There is a large percentage of people with below average intelligence that are extremely gullible.  I've even seen this same scam going on in Elon Musk's Twitter.

256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 10, 2019, 12:56:41 PM
The large amount of money for the bonus program means that the project will have a dumping wall by bounty hunters, they don't care about the price and the effort of the team, they just need money. This made them worse

Bounty hunters only get a small percentage of total coins.  If it dumps that is mostly on the hands of investors and not bounty hunters.  I do think that most hunters on this forum could care less about bitcoin though and they convert everything they get instantly to cash.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scrabble: "Bitcoin" already included in it's 6th edition on: July 09, 2019, 02:39:10 PM
My friends and family would always use slang terms when playing scrabble, we never went by official dictionary rules.  Makes the game a lot more fun because scrabble is a pretty boring game otherwise.  Do they still sell the physical board game, it has been years since I actually played scrabble.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 09, 2019, 02:34:48 PM
HE has a lot of investments in credit cards and banks, bitcoin directly competes with them.  Everything he does and says is to boost his own pockets.  This guy isn't a kind hearted person, his number one goal is to make as much money as possible even though he already has so much.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 09, 2019, 02:24:41 PM
NBA teams do not like first round exits for some reason, I don't know why, you are getting more money, maybe its because okc was spending too much money, that seems to be the real issue with them. They have been over luxury tax for a long time and still only reached the first round, however it was obvious for them to stay at first round or at best second round, they were never a championship team at all, so to think that they were spending money knowing that and now stopped would mean they had enough.

Maybe they want to get back on under cap space and just focus on rookies and so forth and build again so they could just stay under the cap space and not pay 100+ mil extra money for now. That seems like only logical reason to give away Paul George for just some picks.

It is better for teams to just tank and get a good draft pick instead of just barely scraping by and getting destroyed in the first round of the playoffs.

With the warriors losing key players I think this opens the door for all the other borderline teams that can make a real push for the finals.
260  Other / Politics & Society / Re: boeing board enjoyed killing people with the 737 on: July 09, 2019, 02:13:59 PM
Rich people make their own rules and they are above the law.  They can buy their way out of almost anything.  Under the guise of a company they have immense power and are never held accountable for their evil actions.

The reason Madoff got life in jail because he stole from other wealthy people and they had the capability to put the hurt on him.
