1161  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW DOES BITCOIN WORKS? on: October 29, 2018, 03:18:46 PM
Most people can learn the basics of bitcoin and how to use it within 20 minutes.  You don't need a deep understanding of technology to use it.  I think a lot of new users are scared off because it looks complicated from the outside and storing your private keys safely can be a concern.  I have been helping all my family members to understand bitcoin and how to use it this past year.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: October 29, 2018, 03:10:39 PM
Firing Lue won't do much for the Cleveland Cavaliers.  It really just comes down to how talented your team is.  I always thought the role of a coach in basketball is really overrated.  I don't think Phil Jackson is a great coach or anything but he always had the best talent on his teams ( MJ, Kobe, Shaq).  It's why he was able to win 11 championship rings.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports and Esport Pickers? on: October 29, 2018, 03:00:04 PM
I don't waste my time with pickers ot tipsters.  They are usually just scammers trying to get some easy money.  If they were so good at predicting outcomes they could make money by placing bets instead of selling advice to newbies.  Always do your own research when placing bets and don't blindly take the advice of others.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 Crypto predictions on: October 29, 2018, 02:04:02 PM
The predictions of 2018 were all wrong. Instead of big profits, most people did saw big loss in 2018. But who knows? 2019 or 2020 could be good years for cryptos.

2018 isn't over yet, two months is still a long time for the crypto markets.  We can easily see bitcoin hit 15k or higher by the end of this year.  Smart money has been accumulating the past year while prices are cheap.  I know a lot of new investors got burned badly but all they have to do is hold and wait for the bull market to return.
1165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to see for Bitcoin - A stable or a volatile market? on: October 29, 2018, 01:48:08 PM
Bitcoin and other cryptos will eventually become more stable.  We are still really in the early adoption phase.  A lot of people are scared to get paid in crypto because of the wild price swings.  You could get paid one week and end up losing 20 % of what you earned.  Most stores that accept crypto are converting straight to fiat money because of this.
1166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we still "Early Adopters"? on: October 28, 2018, 05:54:37 PM
Yes, we are still in the early adoption stage.  The total marketcap of al cryptocurrency is only 200 billion dollars.  That is stupidly small compared to how much fiat currency their currently is.  There is over 10 trillion USD in circulation alone.  The crypto market will grow over 10 fold and reach a marketcap in the trillions.   The best time to buy is always yesterday but people are still hesitant to jump in.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH TO 100$. on: October 28, 2018, 05:47:54 PM
IF you seriously think it would drop that low you can take a short position with high leverage.  I doubt your that confident in your prediction to do that though.  My belief is that we already hit the bottom and the market won't go any lower from where we are now.  Prices will pick up by the end of the year as they always tend to do.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks Just Suffered Their Worst Loss in Months on: October 28, 2018, 05:40:43 PM
It's hilarious that a 10 percent crash is considered a nightmare in the stock market, it's just another day in cryptoland.  I've watched some of my coins lose over 80 percent of their value but I'm holding strong because I know how much they will rise in the future.  Stocks still look very overpriced and they will most likely crash much more.  The next crash will be a lot worse than the one in 2008.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are Calm!! on: October 28, 2018, 05:28:08 PM
People are calm, but slowly some of us are loosing their cool. With the increasing number of crypto scams, few countries putting a ban on crypto currencies and the stagnant price of BTC at 6-7k mark, it has been a tough and tiring year for Bitcoiners!! I mean last year was fun, with bitcoin hitting 20k. I wonder when BTC will stand up again and bring back the glorious days. Hoping for the best.. Cheers

Crypto veterans have seen this same situation play out many times before.  It is only a matter of time before bitcoin reaches a new all time high. Just look at how much money has been invested in mining farms this past year.  There are billions of dollars at stake, it is clear that bitcoin is the future of money.  If you don't have the patience your welcome to sell and forget about it.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: October 28, 2018, 05:20:12 PM
II pretty much only gamble online because it is more convenient.  I still go to real life casinos with friends on special occasions but it can be stressful compared to gambling from the comfort of your own home. I like to do my gambling at night after I've done everything I need to do for the day.  I'm more of a sports better than a game of chance type of person.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to prove source of funds 4 bank? on: October 28, 2018, 05:03:45 PM
After transfer BTC to banks account finally, they frezze my account and asked to provide documents, source of funds. From my crypto wallet, funds where transferred to banks account, so I transfer to my self. What documents could be about BTC source...?

This is the reason I support crypto over fiat money.  Banks can freeze your money anytime they want, you are never in complete control of your own funds.  In the future this shouldn't be a problem when crypto is accepted everywhere and we won't even have to deal with the central banks.  Its only a mtter of time before this becomes a reality.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy new coins? on: October 27, 2018, 11:26:04 AM
I try to keep an eye out for new coins that may have a future but I keep the majority of my crypto funds in bitcoin.  Its a lot of work if you want to research all the upcoming crypto projects out there.   One of the best ways to get rich is to get in on the ground floor of something but the risk for failure is very high.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: October 27, 2018, 11:13:30 AM
It's lower than 2017 but it's not fair to compare ethereum prices now with a high chart. Why don't you compare ethereum's price this time with the ethereum chart at the beginning of last year when the price was worth it? This is not the end for ethereum, as the second main crypto and that makes no sense.

I know, this thread is nonsense.  End of Ethereum? It is still the #2 ranked crypto currency with over a billion dollars in daily trading volume.  This is just a correction, bitcoin has gone through the same thing many times before even dropping about 90 percent before it reaches a new all time high.  Smart investors are using this time to buy more for cheap prices.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: October 27, 2018, 11:07:45 AM
I dont really gamble. I always think in the losing side. Maybe I’m a coward. Just dont wanna lose my money on something that is not beneficial. If I am to lose I must use it for a good cause and not just throw it away for nothing.

A lot of us just use a small portion of money to have some fun.  We can still have a good time without risking a lot.  I still understand your concern though, it can be scary if you are new to gambling.  The money doesn't just get lost, it goes to a business that hires employees so you are actually helping the economy function.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect crypto betting experience on: October 27, 2018, 10:47:10 AM
I like sportbooks that have a wide array of events, even the obscure ones.  The biggest thing is if the site is trustworthy and how quick and easy is it to withdraw your crypto.  You can see a lot of withdrawal problems in the scam accusation section against various casinos.  As long as you do your own research and read reviews you will be able to find trustworthy betting sites.
1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every loss is not a loss. on: October 27, 2018, 10:35:46 AM
it is not as simple as that and definitely it has nothing to do with "patience". it all comes down to your understanding of the market. if you know what you are doing then when price goes lower than the price you bought at then you wouldn't  consider it as a loss. for instance when you truly analyze bitcoin and find the potential and then buy it at $1000 in 2017 and then price falls to $900 after the rise it had you wouldn't  consider it as a "loss" it will be another opportunity to buy more.

but when you gamble instead of analysis and invest in something you have no idea what it is (including bitcoin) then when price falls you will consider it as a loss and holding then is not patience it is called stupidity even if you are holding something like bitcoin that will go up because YOU don't know that since you are gambling not investing.

You can do all the analysis and research that is possible but its still gambling because no one can 100 percent predict what will happen in the future.  We can increase our odds but there is always a chance of failure.  Even the US dollar and stock market can collapse.  I've been using this dip to buy cheap coins while others are scared.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any chance of having one global currency? on: October 27, 2018, 10:07:52 AM
I think the world will eventually have a world government and a world currency.  I think this is very far in the future though.  Bitcoin has already proven that a global currency can work quite well.  It is a lot more convenient when you don't have to worry about exchanging your money for a different currency every time you travel.
1178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the banksters and governments held 90% of the Bitcoin supply, what now? on: October 27, 2018, 09:56:17 AM
Would it be fair enough to assume that the project has failed, or failing?

90% of Bitcoin being held by an oligarchy of the elite, a cartel of banks, and by governments working together might turn Bitcoin into their "playground".

They can just type numbers into their computers and create money in an instan.  It wouldn't surprise me if they have stockpiled large amounts of bitcoin already.  I don't think it has failed if the banks control 90 percent of bitcoin because the most important thing is your are in complete control of your own funds.  They can not be seized without your private key.
1179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: October 24, 2018, 11:08:00 AM
Yes it is actually.

There are many factors which leads to Bitcoin as Scam or Ponzi.

1) Its a Bobble No realistic value.
2) Problem with marketcap and value of BTC.
3) Distribution and circulation
4) Non regulated.

Bitcoin is nothing just a electronic tokens which can be held transact and generate electronically. There is no physical existence. Second most important thing is marketcap and price. BTC actually not acquire that much marketcap, its just assumed. Because when seller start selling price of BTC will be flatter down, but at the same time some whales making partial buying to take price to moon. Many newbies loss their equity due to such shit things.

The same thing can be said about government money.  Fiat currency is a much bigger scam, its all controlled by a central banking system that can print money anytime they wish.  The market has decided that bitcoin has value and demand.  Even if you consider it worthless, its clear that other people consider it valuable.
1180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 23, 2018, 08:24:25 PM
If you really think about it, everything in life you do is a gamble.  You decide to take a vacation, there is a chance the plane could crash and you end up dying.  You decide to work at a new company, maybe you will get assaulted by a coworker.  Every action has a consequence which means every decision we make can be considered gambling.
