2402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / MT gox crushing the entire market ? on: March 09, 2018, 09:27:32 AM
when do they have to pay out the compensation?

how will it work? do they have to pay out at the old price when they went bust or are they going to have to pay out at the price it is when they actually cough up?

if so surely it is probably in their interest to crush btc back to super low levels on and around that date

2403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 09, 2018, 09:16:42 AM
only works long term for btc and real alt projects with real dev teams that are not a scam
2404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price decreases 1000$ within a hour on: March 09, 2018, 09:12:42 AM

2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: March 07, 2018, 05:17:02 PM
I seriously hope we can avoid going out of the top 200. Seem unthinkable we are not in the top 50 really even now.

This influx of total shit ICO;s has drained the market of btc

Shame such a large % of new investors are so clueless and getting financially drained by projects that long term are going nowhere.

The thing is whilst these ICO's can generate huge fake caps and keep leapfrogging bay and the new investors see large caps as a reason to invest then there is essentially no limit to the ranking drop bay can suffer here.

We can only pray the dumb money is drained to the smarter hands sooner than later that will obviously either cash out  to fiat or re invest in the real projects that will have good long term prospects.

And that these ico dreams and talk schemes implode to zero asap ... although they will be cashing out the " development funding" for some time yet so have to string these poor fools on for a little longer.

Yes constant updates from one of my fav projects on here. How this is nearly sunk out of the top 200 is more than crazy.

Please do an ICO for this project.
The core value of this project requires it gain market momentum.
Market momentum and funding will increase market-share.
That in turn will feed into a balanced Professional Team headed by DZ.

I believe it is necessary based on these issues:
•   Market timing. Coins that succeed will have viable utility AND market presence. Lacking one risks their project.
•   The competition is better funded; regardless of their capabilities.
•   A complete pro team is required to stay competitive and hold or increase market position and project utility.
•   Crypto for the masses is fast becoming a reality; more so with crypto.robinhood.com coming online.

The evolution of “commerce economics” demands radical increases in speed and bandwidth; staying even means falling behind at this juncture of market timing.

I’m more than happy to help.

This would have been a GREAT idea if it were conducted before ico mania started to die out drastically.

I think it is a matter of structure. Sure, mania comes and goes; however a properly structured ICO or makeover or what have you "could" advantage this great project. The issue isn't money; nor the validity of the project and current team. The issue is assuring a competitive edge in a rapidly changing market landscape. AND readying for an eventual market shakeout that will leave "pointless-coins" in the trash heap. My thought was to assure this project is in the few survivors of the next "dotcom" type market shakeout that inevitably happens with each type of revolutionary growth explosion such as crypto.

For sure I was not disagreeing with you. I suggested the very same thing to the community way over 1 year ago perhaps 2yrs ago with a cold reception. Back then the regs were slack and the REAL ico's were going well.

As ever we need to find more REAL projects. Seems after all this time there are not more than a handful of them.

Do your best to keep this thread on page 1 to bring awareness to the real projects and real dev teams

2419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 22, 2018, 02:07:42 PM
Here's an idea, make a new moderated thread and whoever says a word about the airdrop just simply delete their comment. I'm fucking sick and tired of reading through pages of pure welfare whining, it's disgusting. The same goes for those who cry that tonych still holds a big portion, you people act like you give a fuck and then buy ripple, dash and all the other shit that is heavily in the hands of developers and they are not even thinking about distributing it, that's their until they dump and that's it, still you people praise those.... I've been reading this forum less and less but every time I read it, the hatred just grows. It seems that all this crypto space is just a cesspool of parasites and beggars for food stamps. Seriously, you can't find information at all here without wasting hours (even after missing just 1-2 weeks) since it's all whining. Sell and GTFO already, really, you won't help yourself with all your whining, nothing will change, you guys state a million times that tonych doesn't listen to the "community" (sick twist on the word parasite), well why the fuck you think he will read or care about your whining now ? Put up your sell orders or dump directly but stop spamming this thread or slack with useless crying.

Here Here

Don't have merits to give unfortunately.

On a different note i think the Sports Betting bot should maybe look into adding more games (although all the ones I'm interested in are covered)

Thankfully you don't have any merit to squander as yet. This demonstrates the merit scheme is working well. If I could demerit you  for such a comment I would surely do so. This would actually hopefully inspire you to read and research more before posting again. So I would be helping you.

You need to educate yourself on decentralised trustless projects before trying to donate merit to a suggestion that is directly in opposition to such a model.

You can not moderate out people who are complaining because they invested on the basis of the full moon drops only to be told they were not talking  place. That is actually the total and utter destruction of trust and the fact one person made this decision crushes the decentralised nature of the project too.

Please do more reading before cluttering threads with nonsense.

Tony is great but at coding and design only. The distribution has been the worst I have seen and although it would seem impossible keeps damaging the project further and further.

Distribute 30% to byteball holders or put that 30% in a pot and lets hire a real marketing team with full ledger. The 10% remaining tonych should retain to pursue whatever course he chooses.

LOL so to add to the mistrust we now just moderate out comments we don't like to address in a logical manner. Sounds like a great plan - this is a decentralised trustless crypto currency we are talking about right?

sshhh  ... let's not start comparing this to schemes like xrp and dash.

People here were led to believe in the full moon drops. They invested on the basis on these. These were then cancelled on a whim.

I don't think that qualifies them as beggars and welfare whiners.

I don't see how you can conclude people asking for what was intimated (not promised apparently) is begging and whining.

BB has now serious trust issues. These need to be addressed.

This giving only to those who linked their btc since novemeber seems quite foolish.  I mean they invested NOTHING. What about those that actually INVESTED in byteball on the basis of the march airdrop who now not only do not get their airdrop they get a 30% haircut on their investment due to more people bailing because of more failed promises (not promises)

Tony hiding on slack making more insane decisions is not what is needed.

Give people 30 bucks share in a project does what exactly? NOTHING it;s not enough to provide any incentive to help or contribute. Just dump for BTC and on to the next free crypto snack.

You don't want a ton of new peasant users who care about getting 30 bucks you want to get into the MC zone where people take immediate note of your project. You want long term large investors who believe in the project because they know they can rely on a decentralised
trustless project. Not be at the mercy of the mood of one highly changeable individual.

Tony needs to employ some people who know how to market this great creation. Paying a few mom and pop veggie stores to accept BB is not going to cut it against teams that are targeting huge corps.

The distribution so far has been a disaster. You lost the trustless decentralised bullet points and instead of turning it into a huge collusion market making scheme so you could be in the top 10 you enabled competing project managers to have the power to pump and dump at will. We then sprinkled on the top the financial pillaging of those that bought BB on the basis of the full moon drops and destroyed trust further.

Come on wise up before we are drowned in new DAG projects and byteball has even less reason to stand out than it does currently.

You need to address the reasons why so many are so unhappy with being mislead not try to moderate out their valid concerns.
