1461  Other / Meta / Re: OVER 300 days with no answer from THEYMOS OR CYRUS? // stolen account on: November 08, 2018, 10:54:39 AM

I eventually got mine back via lauda, vod, and a few others helped me.

I'm wondering how did they manage to help you and when that happened?. I was a Full Member since 2012 used to be active back in the days, btw I read one of your posts mentioning that they help active Legendary members only? is that true? mind to explain why?

Can you show me that post again that I made regarding they help active legendary members only?

I don't recall saying that. Although surely those that have put the most effort in to the board should get priority. However I would think any honest member that has got hack should get their account back if possible.
1462  Other / Meta / Re: These turds look like they are group spamming the same crap on: November 08, 2018, 10:28:58 AM
OP, people would probably take you a hell of a lot more seriously if you acted with maturity. Bringing up "your mom" jokes isn't going to bring any seriousness/validity to the claims you are making:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5063402.msg47619117#msg47619117

As for sharding, I'm assuming it's relevant to sharding of databases, just put into the context of cryptocurrency/blockchains (in terms of storage of data). If it's a legitimate discussion, while it may be somewhat spammy to create new threads to discuss, the OP of that thread is in the right provided the thread has some form of value.

If they make multiple threads to discuss the same sort of thing, then that's a different story.
These fake discussions are quite obvious to most people. I have even laid out clearly how to identify this and yet there are other like yourself who need that little extra help.

Is it becoming any clearer now??

I did read the users posts, and while I do see many threads being created, I'm not certain I would call it spam. It still has inherent value. This thread, however: debatable. Listen, I'm not usually one to come to *any* spammers defence, but if a effort is made to make a thread worth value to BitcoinTalk, then I will take notice of that.

Your snarky attitude really isn't becoming of you, and it's not going to garner you any sympathy when it comes to members listening to your claims.

Also, yes, you did break a rule above posting twice in a row (not bumping). You don't have to call the other user a moron when you are clearly the user who is not reading the rules in this situation.

You are a moron. That is clear.

Those 3 accounts are colluding together to spam the same shitty icos.

Read the op again
I am not interested in your opinion on facts that are clearly observable.

Just because you are dumb enough to believe 3 accounts colluding to create fake conversations to spam icos has inherent value means nothing other than to display you need to keep your mouth shut.

Now stop replying on my thread because I stated in the OP I don't want gimps cluttering it with their dip shit comments.

@Tszunami98dumbass

As I often explain to people. When presenting observable facts there is no room for serious or not serious. There is simply the facts.

I you can not digest such information and take it seriously that means zero to me.

I lock this thread now since enough time has passed to act upon the information presented in the OP.

1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LET US- LIST - some old established projects that could be under the radar. on: November 07, 2018, 08:57:46 PM
I think litecoin is getting slept on right now. I know it is far from the old days of being the second biggest coin in the market but it is literally paving the way for bitcoin right now for the upcoming developments. They were the ones that did segwit first, they were ones that did lightning network first and they are doing whatever they can to improve litecoin first and bitcoin follows their route.

Litecoin is not some sandbox coin that is tested before they move on with bitcoin, it is literally a coin that is improving faster than bitcoin itself and bitcoin only follows the steps of litecoin only after seeing how it works out for them. Litecoin price is really low (which coin isn't) and certainly has a potential to be x10 when the bull comes. Definitely worth a check at least.

I am in full agreement on many points there.

I holds some LTC for sure.

If they are under the radar I am not sure I would think most have heard of them and have a little bit of it.

Good post though.

up
still nothing

THEYMOS THIS IS HOW MUCH MY SUPPORT MEANS TO YOU?! Sad

I eventually got mine back via lauda, vod, and a few others helped me.

It's a shame.

Just a shame the there is no 2 factor auth via email or phone. This would help a lot.

It's terrible to lose your original account if you have put a lot of effort in to it.

Cryptopia are going a bit weird lately. I previously have praised that exchange.

For example PHS is quite a secure coin with lots of staking wallets online.

When the dev emailed them they said could re add it for 2btc???

That would apparently make it more secure.

If you ask me they are just getting rid of low volume coins to make way for new ico trash.

sad but will make them more money I guess.

Why did a moderator deleted all my "up" posts?

Help me to retrieve my account instead!

Lauda maybe can help you. I can't believe more effort is not give to help legends who have put a lot of effort into this forum.

Especially if you have signed a message proving you are the original owner.

Who can you not get your account back ?

were you a frequent poster and contributor to this forum?

I made thousands of posts, some of them were not shitposting.

Not that that sounds very encouraging to fight for  - -still those that tend to undersell themselves are often the best types.

I still think a legend account should be renewed quickly if the signed message proves it is theirs.

PM lauda and see. Can't hurt.

Also I will come back to this thread now and again and help keep it current. Shame to be hacked. I often wonder why we can not select to have 2 stage auth via email as optional would help i think.

1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 07, 2018, 05:00:58 PM
Imagine if with bitcoin you could decide to turn off miners rewards  after they purchased machinery.
This is not Bitcoin! I repeat, NOT A Bitcoin, not even close. There is no miners - no economy of scale. By linking your Bitcoin address to Byteball one, you did not need to buy any machinery.
Nobody is entitled for Byteball bytes and nothing is taken away from anybody if they don't get it. Goal of Byteball distribution is to be fair and as wide as possible, doesn't matter which distribution method archives that goal. If anybody thinks that they know how to have even fairer and wider distribution then ideas are welcome and if you are developer then you can apply for grant too to build that distribution method. If you are wondering why some kind of distribution methods have not implemented then there is probably reasons for that, it's pretty easy: just ask yourself, would that be fair and wide distribution?

I'm actually one of the main promoters on the main board regarding byteball actually. You should be very pleased to have me onboard and not be instructing me to start my own fork off of byteball.
All forks are welcome, it is not a bad thing, everybody wins.

If I were community manager here I would have huge community behind byteball  by now. Obviously I would not have made some of the rash decisions that have been made without getting the community onboard first. But what is done is done we can still succeed if we all work together.
Maybe you could be a great community manager, I do not know that, but I am skeptical about it if you consider locking somebody's funds as viable solution for a cryptocurrency. Also, would help if you understood the differences of Bitcoin and Byteball. No miners is pretty obvious thing, which should be super difficult to miss.
I am also not aware if there is a position like that available, I am not running for that position, I am just fighting against the FUD that this Byteball announcements topic is full of.

If you are doing what you believe is best for BB then that is good enough.

All will have different opinions on what is best. My opinion is simply to keep as many people happy as possible so we can build a strong community. I acknowledge opinions on deeper technical matters are not anything the community should concern themselves with unless they have a deep understanding of this technology.

Let's move forward and a pull this back to a more sensible MC in the top 50 at least.

I suspect there has been a long period of accumulation here.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: November 07, 2018, 03:41:33 PM
I'm guessing English is not your first language. Which could in part be why there is a slight communication loss. Not that is a criticism at all.
What communication loss? Wasn't it you who said that we should freeze Max Kordek (ceo of lisk) wallet? And then changed your story to voluntary staking idea. I think you have problems with English.

meanwhile Max Kordek ceo of lisk own the biggest byterbal individual wallet, and paid $0. Are you crazy tarmo888?
Let's take a vote to freeze that wallet, and any other huge wallets we know ico managers are holding

I see now that  it is a language barrier.

1. is the taking back an unfair amount of free coins given to someone on the basis of bitcoin that were not even theirs.

How do I know I am not being trolled here

Do you understand that this is the main reason why Bitcoin was created (2008 bailout anybody?), so nobody could not take away something that you already have? This is not a language barrier, it is crazy to even suggest something like that like freezing somebody's account retro-actively. You are being trolling by yourself.

You should really quote the entire post and put it all into context really.

Imagine if with bitcoin you could decide to turn off miners rewards  after they purchased machinery.

Anyway fellow byteball fan. Let us not quibble over small matters like getting back huge proportions of the minting that were claimed for free under questionable means. However actually max seems okay and I think he could well decide to do something nice with the bytes so I wasn't actually singling him out. If I were these big ico managers with tons of free bytes I would have distributed them to my ico investors or actually just not claimed them in the first place.

Let's for now put that behind us if everyone thinks that is a bad idea.

Let's move forward and work together on things.

I'm actually one of the main promoters on the main board regarding byteball actually. You should be very pleased to have me onboard and not be instructing me to start my own fork off of byteball.

If I were community manager here I would have huge community behind byteball  by now. Obviously I would not have made some of the rash decisions that have been made without getting the community onboard first. But what is done is done we can still succeed if we all work together.

I'm ready.

Our latest community update is out now, featuring an October roadmap review and a look at what's to come in November.

Featuring the Community Projects Initiative, updates for the web marketplace and dynamic peg and more...

https://medium.com/@bitbay/bitbay-roadmap-update-95ab4dcba63

Thanks,
Shorn.

Great article. Thanks for posting. Bay is moving a great turn of pace now that most other projects I follow would be jealous of.

Just one thing..

first line says As we are already a dew few

is dew few an expression or a typo?

Thanks for spotting that Cryptohunter! It was indeed a typo that crept in somehow ...

No problem, great article though as usual.
Keep up the awesome work.

I see now that  it is a language barrier.

These are separate ideas and not related at all except for the word freeze.

Like my previous example you can not just grab 2 words from 2 different paragraphs and conflate them to mean the same thing.

Like

1. changing the rules in a way that is seen as negatively impacting investors without consultation...

is not the same as

2. changing the rules to benefit investors after full consultation.

You can't say because 1 destroyed trust that 2 would destroy trust also because there are the same words about changing rules in there.

There is no changing my story these are seperate ideas relating to seperate actions.

1. is the taking back an unfair amount of free coins given to someone on the basis of bitcoin that were not even theirs.

2. is relating to the distribution of the 22% remaining via a process that would resemble a tiered pos system with voluntary lockdown by real investors.

these are not mutually exclusive and not even really related.

Please do your best to understand and take time to think it over before replying.

After reading back through our discussion I can honestly say I believe you are confused and not deliberately trying to mislead people.

Can anyone else confirm this person really is a dev working for BB???

@OP, you just broke this rule:

Quote
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

No matter how serious of a matter you bring up for the betterment of the forum, but it won't be effective as long as you yourself don't care about the things that make the forum a better place.

2 times ? 1 each to reply to different responses = multiple ?? ( well i guess it can mean that to a moron like you that does not have capacity to read the rules and make sense of them.)

Kind of like when you tell your internet friends/sympathisers  you have had sexual relations with multiple women in your long and pathetic life. (You mean 2 women. (that you paid for, who later self terminated due to the mental scarring ))

Get your rotten noob trash teeth into this thread then ... I'll await your swift action on this... but it won't happen.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1523788.0

3 updates  spams per day somedays and going on for months......

LOL replying to a person who's comment that I missed before. (That is not what the rule is regarding)

Compared to

scam groups trying to pump scammy ico's

You imbecile...

Let me explain why you are ALONE055

Whining about 2 posts replying to 2 different people here when it was a legitimate reply to a missed question is a demonstration of your stupidity.

Can you also show me any posts or threads where you have done anything of real note. Or made any difference by joining at all.

If you can not provide what I ask then keep your pathetic twittering to yourself.

Looking at your post history you are a joke. A self important turd trying to nitpick on noobs over a small mistakes.

LOL.... calm down this is just an internet forum. Everything will be okay. You sound near the edge.

If you believe you have a case then make a thread and have it examined.

If you have been unjustly treated then it can be reversed. However if under the microscope you are found to be a scammer in anyway then I think asking for review could result in more serious consequences.

Choose wisely.
1474  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative rating from The Pharmacist on: November 07, 2018, 11:36:11 AM

Even i very often disagree with cryptohunter and we also had often a dispute in the past i have to fully agree with him here.
Btw cryptohunter can be considered as a core member on bitcointalk who really contributed and not like some DT punks who have lost connection to the real world.

Thanks for the kind words.

I am now looking at the trust ratings of various accounts.

TRUST really does need to be updated here because.

Red trust glowing next to your name where it says trade with caution - - btc risked? what about alt coin risked etc. This was obviously initially developed for traders to identify btc scammers years previously.

to many this would imply the person has actually scammed someone and they have lost financially as a direct result.

However, I was given negative trust rating because - - - I DID NOT FIGHT THE SCAM THAT SCAMMED HIM???  Now I know at one time I was fighting lots of scams but this is when there were not so many projects. No 1 person can fight every single scam.

Who left this neg??  A legend member??

The other turds leaving me negative are known and proven scammers because I tried to destroy their scams.

However DT trust members should have very strict and clear criteria for being able to leave negative trust and really things that do not effect people financially directly and deliberately should not get a trade with caution red mark.

They should get a have broken the board rules yellow score and for repeated flouting a temp ban then perma ban.

Some people on this board have turned into bullies actually over time. They were quite humble when they first came to this board.

It's okay to be heavy handed with full on scammers but with people that have displayed they are nice people generally helping others you can not be allowed to fuck them over hard for their first mistake. I'm not even sure in this guys case he has broken board rules. Are there strict guidelines for referencing available to follow. Is the url enough in all cases? what if that is suspect as the original source?

I would expect making it very clear these are not your own words is a good start as per the rules on here as far as I can see.

1475  Other / Meta / Re: These turds look like they are group spamming the same crap on: November 07, 2018, 11:06:29 AM
Please re-read then try again.

Your mum jokes are irrelevant given the fact their post history proves all 3 are  pumping the same shit icos over and over.

You are missing the point entirely.

They are not spamming sharding. They are using any discussion they can think of to join together to collude and spam the same ico's

Regardless, you always have the option to report to moderator and their posts would likely be deleted or thrashed.
Or if you feel any stricter penalty is needed you can make a post on meta just as you did.
Joining the spam on the thread is not one of the ways to handle the situation.

Spam is a very over used word here most of the time incorrectly so.

I am guessing you are a hide behind the blow up doll kind of guy.

Or ask nicely?

There are people getting banned on here for not giving full references on guides they post. Of course these kind of  spamming shills pushing icos to defraud people of their money need to be booted out.

Am still a newbie here so am wondering would my opinion matter? Well if yes then I would say to MR OP two wrong don't make a right  your reply to the thread you highlighted was not befitting of your rank and totally unfair. Yes they might be guilty of your accusations and deserve to be reported. But if everyone decides to use word just as you did to every post or reply that don't go well with them then here would not be a conducive place and it would affect member and possibly future users perspective of the forum

I am wondering too.
And I see that your post seems to have ended the discussion. Yet again, you have been trolling on the 3 members in question. How come?  When and how did you start observing them?

Are you seriously asking me how come I am trolling them? After I have explained 3x here and 1x on the thread in detail?

Calling out scammers as scammers is not trolling. It is simply preventing scammers.

If you were in your house and people broke in trying to steal things would you ask them nicely to leave or hide behind your bbw blow up doll and call the cops or pull out a hand grenade removing the pin with your tongue  and tell them to gtfo?

Of course you select the option 2 since as luck would have it you were there already

Now start from here...

1. reread until you understand fully.
2. if above is not possible do not touch keyboard again until help arrives.

Passing things off as correct when they are merely a lazy and reprehensible method that is sure to leave one wanting is worthy of negative trust if not a ban if you ask me.

This time I will let it slide if you send me your address and demonstrate to me personally that you are fit to continue training people in this art.

If not then I think most would agree perma ban is the only answer here.
I don't think I went off topic with "Google, here I come!" and you missed my point, if admin allows this kind of behavior we will see bunch of shitposters running around forum with various articles taken from X-sites pretending they want to be helpful but all they really are doing is begging for merit without begging part. Is there any other reason why anyone would post "trading" thread in "meta", where most merit sources are, copying bunch of 11 years old articles with "disclaimer" without quotation and link to sources?
Yeah, I guess we can go full blind and act that this is not true  Roll Eyes

My opinion is this is copy/paste, and what TP said in second post.

LOL nobody cares about merit here except a few back slapping circle jerkers in meta and some noob spammers and sock puppets trying to spam icos all over the place. The OP falls into neither of those classifications.

The best devs with the best minds who have helped many people don't even have much merit. The guy that helped new people the most is not even posting anymore due to issues with a group of backslappers.

Most of these super merit accounts have never done anything of real note here not ever. They have not ever been first to stand up up to a big scam that was backed by huge amounts of established members nor delivered ground breaking technology. Those are the two things I look for when going through post history. I don't actually think I can find one major thing they have ever accomplished here.

Who the hell would hang around meta for the majority of their posts. Developing these tools to see who is the best this and that according to gamed back slapping board metrics. What a waste of time. That is merit begging. Get out there on the main boards and help people or get out there and stop scamming ico bots and puppets. Stand up to obviously corrupt and distribution methods are that easy to game for the scammers that keep pushing them out there.

When I see large meta scores (in general)  and analyse them these are people who I remember coming here saying all sorts of stupid shit. One of the highest meta people on here and I used to row all the time over a specific project he stuck up for it for years ...then recognised it as the scam it was later on.  Many of these high merit tools have a strange moral compass too. Wanting to ban some poor dude because he was not specific enough about the sources he already said he took the articles from various sources.

How can you agree with a statement I have already demonstrated is incorrect Huh

Must I spell this out for you again in larger font. He did not claim the work was his own as TP stated he attributed it to other reliable sources ............therefore he is simply saying he compiled it for easy of use.

After having said all of that I looked at your post history and see you spend a lot of time weeding out scams. So I am not putting you in with some of the others. I just think you are provably wrong to suggest a ban for this guy.

There are those that will always suck up to those the consider to have more power even when it is obvious they are wrong. Don't be one of them it makes you appear like a cuck.

1479  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: How to harrass billionaires? what's your ideas before choping their heads off? on: November 07, 2018, 12:16:42 AM
1. what if the billionaires allow you just enough to content your small mind instead of starving you into revolution and prefer your status quo to what you know you could be reduced to if you decided to think a little deeper and tried to inspire others of your type into complaining.

2. what if you are unknowing seeking to be enslaved because you subconsciously know that the matrix is best for your type. therefore constant access to others reinforcing the status quo is comforting and essential.

I think you watch too much sci fi movies, and take them too seriously.
Movies that are funded by billionaires, by the way.... This beautiful people's Hollywood speech is so pedantic...

Go on, good luck chopping off billionaire heads, with that beautiful Hollywood matrix progressive speech.

I hope you live what you believe is better.

I just prefer to live "what is", instead of "what if".

Ah, and satoshi is now a billionaire. You can start your justice journey by chopping off bitcoin from your life then, don't you think?
Or maybe you can propose a fork to delete satoshi coins, as he is too rich. You could call it Bitcoin Matrix

the matrix is all around us

I don't know if you are confusing me with someone that would chop anyones head off or condone violent acts toward other life forms of any kind. Except those who tried to take away my billions when I make them.

I simply posted that he was correct in some things that he said since you seemed too closed minded to give them sensible consideration.

It is best to remain open minded in all things if you expect to find the optimal insight.

Please re-read then try again.

Your mum jokes are irrelevant given the fact their post history proves all 3 are  pumping the same shit icos over and over.

You are missing the point entirely.

They are not spamming sharding. They are using any discussion they can think of to join together to collude and spam the same ico's

These fake discussions are quite obvious to most people. I have even laid out clearly how to identify this and yet there are other like yourself who need that little extra help.

Is it becoming any clearer now??
