What happened to Rosewater Foundation?
We wish we knew. Speculation that he may have been caught in Quadringa CX... I think he's too smart to keep coins on an exchange.

Cool. I hadn't checked out the altcoin section in a long time. It's hilarious. It's all Crypto this and Cryptocurrency that without any mention of real Bitcoin. I think it's great. They keep all their talk about Dogecoin, Rogercoin, Vitalikcoin, Kanyecoin, etc. over there and don't pollute our WO with that crap. Think of it as the retard class at school. This (WO) is like the accelerated class for the precocious. Let them keep all their altcoin discussions over there and we won't confuse them by posting Bitcoin stuff there. Bitcoin is Bitcoin and altcoin is altcoin and never the twain shall meet.

The hell are you taking $30k down to Mexico for? I got robbed by a fucking cop last time I was there.
I wouldn't get caught with a nice stash of cash down there.
You've got to know where to go and how to travel. Don't show your wealth. Keep to well policed areas unless you are accompanied by trusted, well-connected locals, but don't give police any reason to interact with you. Dress down. Keep to tourist areas whenever possible and project an image of being a typical tourist... i.e. a job slave who is running up debt on a credit card to seek a short-lived break from wage slavery. I use only cash in Canada but I use a credit card when traveling. It makes me look more like a tourist. Of course away from tourist areas I use only cash. Everybody does. Nobody in my area has a bank account or credit card. There aren't even any banks in the area. That's one reason I love it there... no banks, no phones, no criminals, very few cops. Just sunshine, fresh air, good food, cheap booze and a certain little hot-blooded chilanga. The reason I'm taking $30kUSD down is to finish paying for my zirconia teeth, pay off a personal loan, and make improvements to my house down there. I'm in the midst of major infrastructure upgrades... new 220v/120a wiring, water heater, upgraded security, etc. I can only take $10kUSD down on the plane with me but I'll have a traveling companion to carry another $10k. The rest I'll put on my credit card and begrudgingly pay the cash advance and exchange fees. I don't have a bank account in either country. I'll spend the $20k cash almost immediately on the dentist and debt repayment and then live off my card. I hate banks.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we had a wee correction overnight after yesterday's little rally... currently $5255USD/$7002CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Up by a couple of hundred, correct by a hundred, rinse and repeat. I can live with this.
I've only got 2-3 weeks before I've got to spend some bitcoins to buy about $30kUSD to take to Mexico. That's over 5 whole coins. I'd like to see that number go down.
Luckily I've got a new OTC exchange near my home that only charges 4% buy or sell (based on Stamp... one of the few who don't use Bitcoinaverage) and is fully anonymous. All cash, no checks or cards, discreetly behind closed doors. $40kCAD? No problem. We don't need no stinking KYC!
Ah the humdrum life of living happily ever after. Once upon a time there was Bitcoin. Once upon a time we can all live happily ever after.

7 milligrams? That won't do anything. I like to indulge now and then with about 0.25g dried. Anything less and I can't feel it.
Sheeit. I did type out mg. I meant g. Error on my part. You are absolutely correct that 7mg is a minuscule dose, unlikely to have any effect. Either way, decided to heed the warning, and will wait for Rick to return, so I'll be supervised when dosing. You need better shrooms. Top strains like Hawaiian Gold Caps or the legendary Witchmakers will pretty much OD even experienced users with anything over a couple of grams and beginners are recommended to stay below half a gram. I know people who used to take about a twentieth of a gram of the Witchmakers and get a nice buzz, not a transcendental psychedelic experience but a pleasant energetic awareness that lasts for hours. A single gram should provide a solid but not too overwhelming trip.

Just watch, we'll be stuck at 6502 soon enough.....
6502? Now you're taking me back.... MOS Technology's "little chip that could". Pretty much sparked the microcomputer/homePC revolution (and console gaming too). Remember the Apple II, Commodore 64, Atari and Nintendo? All 6502. My first attempt to learn assembly language was with a 6502 for dummies book. I guess I was too much of a dummy, retreated back to the simpler world of MSbasic. Those were exciting times, just as they are for Bitcoin now. Thanx for the memories.

Good morning Bicoinland.
The battle for $5k continues... currently $5003USD/$6700CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
This could take some time just as the battle for $4k was a long drawn-out affair. It reminds me 2016 when it was the battle for $400, then the battle for $500 etc.
This is why I picked $5998 in MicG's game. I figured the battle for $6k might be in full swing by then.
C'mon Bitcoin surprise me. Go Bitcoin go.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
I see we're still over $5k... currently $5020USD/$6706CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Just last week we were battling to stay above $4k.
Pamplona.
Go Bitcoin go.

Recover?
It's already recovered. Many times.
It recovered after it crashed from a dollar to a dime. It recovered after it crashed from $30 to $2. It recovered after it crashed from $256 to $50. It recovered after it crashed from $1100 to $175. It is recovering nicely after it crashed from $19666 to $3200.
Recovery is an ongoing process.

How are the Jays looking Jimbo?
Mariners are on FIRE early.
The Jays are in a serious rebuild at the moment. They released or traded most of their recent post-season team within the last year or so and traded away their longest tenured player, Keven Pillar, just yesterday for a 21-year-old pitching prospect and a couple of journeymen. In the process they trimmed their payroll from around $150M to about $50M. Despite that they're 3-4, ahead of both New York and Boston, mainly on the strength of their starting rotation. We're all waiting for Vlad Guerrero Jr., the #1 prospect in all of baseball to be brought up but that probably won't happen until May to ensure an extra year of team control. Meanwhile they also have highly rated prospects Cavan Biggio and Bo Bichette waiting in the wings. They're kinda where the Yankees were 3 years ago with the Baby Bombers (Judge, Sanchez, etc.) waiting to break through. Attendance has dropped even more than the payroll. Instead of drawing 40,000 per game, they're lucky to get 10,000 for a weeknight game. They probably get more Jays fans at Safeco Field. Part of that might be the fact that hockey's still going. I'm staunchly hodling my season ticket seats behind home plate though. Like Bitcoin, the Jays' future is looking very good. _____ Congrats on your Mariners' 7-1 record. Our 2 teams are almost sisters, being born the same year. Cheers!

Lawl.
I get home from the ball game and a few frosties to find we're back to where we were less than half a day ago and some people are acting like the roof fell in.
People are asking if the bull market is over and even Gemtwit has crawled out from under his rock to go weeeeeee.
One tiny correction and whiners are acting like Chicken Little.
It's still well over $5k for Chrissakes. Grow a set.

Hey Jimbo,
Would you go pound on the mayor's door for us? It's time for him to wake up.
Sorry, he moved away from my neighborhood. Last I heard he was in a small city a couple of hundred miles away. Hope he's OK and was able to hold on to most of his Bitcoin.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Hanging in over $5k I see... currently $5030USD/$6702CAD (Bitcionaverage).
Another leg up this week would be nice, nothing spectacular like a couple of days ago, just up a couple of hundred with a correction of a hundred or so. Rinse and repeat.
Go Bitcoin go.

“We have to understand that over the past months, we’ve had a good opportunity for OTC buyers to finally start picking up Bitcoin at these [lower] levels. And once they have enough incentive, once they have enough at stake in Bitcoin markets, once they’ve built up their long term positions, they have an incentive to trade on spot market. Meaning, to clear through the order book to start buying positions on spot market. Why would they do that? Well, it’s because they’ve got a much more substantial position that they bought OTC where they didn’t incur slippage. And now they have an incentive for price to actually have slippage to the upside, to clear through that order book, to buy some extra Bitcoin on an exchange, really across most of the major exchanges, probably around 50,000 or 60,000 Bitcoin, and from there actually increasing the value of their much larger position. And this can happen in crypto markets, whether people think it’s moral or not. I think that’s substantially what’s happening.” Bang on. Exchanges are just the tip of the iceberg.

A special good morning Bitcoinland. Seems we're holding on to last night's gains... currently $4756USD/$6336CAD (Bitcoinaverage). It may be a little early for fiddle music and rocket trains but can we at least laugh at the bears?

Well well well. Just got home to see a nice leg up, the first really proper one in a while. Almost time for fiddle tunes and moon trains? _____ warning- I'm going back down to Mexico before the end of April.
