A 12-word seed phrase can not be easily hacked or predicted by just guessing maybe what you hear outside from this forum those people are victims of phishing or spyware where someone already knows their backup seed phrase.

If you are afraid to become one of them always save your backup physically by writing it on a piece of paper don't store it digitally.
And adding phrases like other said it will help secure your wallet.
2422  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for payment provider on: October 05, 2022, 11:32:33 PM
We feel as to try making our own payment system is the best solution so should you are experienced in that or your can advise us someone, please do not hesitate to let us know.

If you have the knowledge you can build your payment gateway. But I think like others said it would be best if you start using BTCpayserver which is way easier to set up than making your own payment processor that has not yet been tested from any attacks.

I think BTCpayserver is built with C# if you know c# you can fork it and modify it and put your own codes. Like others who using BTCpay and make some few changes on the code like adding feature or optimizing the code.
2423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strange question. on: October 05, 2022, 11:14:29 PM
It would work only in spot trading but in P2P like on Binance if you sell 1btc there many buyers will buy it.
It is not the same in the spot market when you accidentally set a sell order lower than the current selling price then it will be filled only with the current price, not the price you set lower than the current selling price.

This only works on limit/market order but if you set it to stop limit or other types of order it won't be filled immediately instead it will wait until the selling price you set is reached.

If you are trading on Binance they already have a better explanation about these types of order don't be afraid all you want to learn is already on Binance beginners guide here https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/binance-beginner-s-guide
2424  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Looking for Cheetah F5M Firmware on: October 05, 2022, 09:06:07 PM
Do you have a hair blower? Or anything that can heat your miner a bit like exposing it to the sun. That's the only thing that I think you can do for now for this unit.

Next time don't buy miners without support only buy miners that have lots of support like bitmain units.
2425  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pls Help!! How to get an outpoint in a transaction? #blockchain on: October 04, 2022, 11:59:24 PM
Are you talking about Raw/Hex transaction? Thats the link you provided above.

If you want to generate unsigned raw/hex transaction Electrum watch-only wallet have this option just import the public or Btc address that you own to Electrum wallet then make a transaction it should generate a raw/hex transaction.

Or you can use this https://coinb.in/#newTransaction to generate unsigned raw/hex transaction.

What exactly wallet did you generate this hash c997a5e56e104102fa209c6a852dd90660a20b2d9c352423edce25857fcd3704?
2426  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What will be the future of Binance till 2025? on: October 04, 2022, 10:35:37 PM
No one knows what will be the future of Binance but if your problem is holding your coins on the Binance exchange then that's not a good idea. Like the other said if you don't have full control of your wallet seed/private key you don't own the coin.
Always use a non-custodial wallet to hold them or use hardware wallets like ledger to store them. Binance in the future can be one of the hacked exchanges but based on what happened before when they announced that they have been hacked only a small portion of their coins are stolen. It means they have their way to protect customers' funds which I think safe than the other exchange.
2427  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BraiinsOS S9 SD Card Access on: October 04, 2022, 10:09:15 PM
I have been thinking of either trying to get Doom to run whilst mining or even trying to get two instances of the miner OS on a single card to have them switch back and forth. Mostly a fun project with some old mining gear

What are you trying to doom? Do you mean you are trying to kill the miner while mining?

I think you can't able to boot the sd card on the miner with dual OS but I think it is fine just boot the braiins in the SD card and then move jp4 to the original position to automatically switch to stock firmware.
Or you can use bos toolbox because it's allowed to install and uninstall os through bos toolbox.
2428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have been posting On bitcointalk but my activity is not increasing on: October 04, 2022, 02:43:49 PM
Since the above already explains how user activity works then there is a sheet when exactly the day or date for activity update.

You can check this one https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/htmlview
Just search for 2022 and date today it seems october 5 should be the right time to see the activity update.
2429  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can a thief benefit from his thefts? on: October 03, 2022, 11:51:38 PM
I think there are some exchanges without KYC where you can able to trade or swap tokens into privacy coins like grin coin or monero.
No one would be able to trace trace them once they trade or swap them into privacy coins.
2430  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BraiinsOS S9 SD Card Access on: October 03, 2022, 11:23:15 PM
I don't think you can access the SD card while it's running in your miner.
What exactly do you want to achieve?

You can  just use the SD card to flash braiinsOS to control board NAND than booting braiins with an SD card.
2431  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PROBLEM WITH AISEN A1 PRO 21T LOVEMINER on: October 03, 2022, 11:07:40 PM

alright sorry, i didnt know how to do it, also i didnt know it how to upload images here xD

Thanks, i will try to find how to do it on google,

Cheers

Newbies do not allow yet to post images but you can host images to any IMG hosting sites like imgur.com then post the link here.

Now about your logs, it seems it shows different logs from abnormal status to fan speed too slow. I don't know if it's an incompatibility issue but you need to replace it with a known working one from the same unit or must be the same fan model to make sure it will work.

If not then you have a control board issue it might be the fan terminal. Soldering the terminal sometimes fixes this issue or checks for terminal rust cleaning them with fluid or thinner might fix the issue.
2432  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1246 network status not working. on: October 03, 2022, 04:56:23 PM
I have just contact canaan and they say to me to buy a control board directly from their factory.

I think I have no other choice...

Anybody know how to download a firmware directly from an asic ? Maybe if it's possible this solution can work !

The firmware link for Canaan units already posted above https://download.canaan-creative.com/

The only problem is that 1246 remove the firmware from their download page I don't know why but there are two firmware available on that page before.
If Canaan recommends to replace the control board then that's the only option and I think once you buy it directly from them I'm sure they can also provide firmware for that unit. Just don't buy from 3rd party.
2433  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Looking for Cheetah F5M Firmware on: October 03, 2022, 04:50:50 PM
hey i need this either Undecided
sombody help us..
cheetah miner F5M 52th

Currently, no one share this firmware I tried to search in the entire forum and Google but no one shares this firmware.

These cheetah units don't have much support here and they don't even have official support.

What I think you can only do is buy a new control board to replace it or find someone who can dump their own firmware and send it to you.
2434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Delay in transaction on: October 03, 2022, 04:27:12 PM
His response seems like he is using Blockchain.com wallet as he wrote "not set to priority" which is available on blockchain wallet if I'm correct (I haven't used that ever though).
If that's the case, OP has no more options but to ask the receiver to use the unconfirmed inputs to create a new transaction with a higher fee if his wallet allows such a process (CPFP).

Not just blockchain wallet has the option to set the transaction with high priority Mycelium also have this option and I think also the Android Bitcoin wallet developed by schildbach has this option from low to high priority.

The only problem is that if the receiver does not use a non-custodial Bitcoin wallet but instead uses an Exchange wallet he can't be able to do CPFP to speed up the transaction.

If you are right he is using a Blockchain wallet and he has full control of that wallet with a backup seed then he can able to use the Electrum wallet and perform a "Bump fee".
2435  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 controlboard cannot find IP. on: October 03, 2022, 12:42:42 AM
Hi, I have a sj 19 pro like to put braiins on it and they made me switch to the s17 c55 controlboard, because I had amlogic my asic, for that reason bought that.

I did the unlock and then put the original bitmain firmware, s19 j pro and then it never detected the ip and the 3 lights never came on again.

Actually, I can't understand what you trying to say would you mind using a translator instead and paste it here.

If you have a control board of s19 and it's broken and you buy an s17 control board and you are trying to flash it with s19 firmware there is a big possibility it would brick.
If you have a bad s19 control board you must replace it with a control board which only use for s19, not for the s17 control board.

Take note if you have a fake SD card with fake volume the firmware that you are trying to flash is always corrupted so better use an authentic SD card Samsung or Sandisk.
2436  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: poland guy needed to connect to account on: October 01, 2022, 11:56:10 PM
I think no one will provide you with such a thing here on the forum if your trust is -5.
Maybe they will show up if you can escrow your payment to them.  Or why not buy an AWS account run 1 RPC instance and choose a region that Poland is included? I guess it's a paid one you don't need to find someone to do it for you.

Or use VPN that supports dedicated IP and can able to choose where you live on the map or GPS spoofing you can check IPvanish it's cheap and you can use it for other activities. You don't need to look for someone living in Poland you can use IPvanish that you look living in Poland.
2437  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Newpac Miner 0 chips found error on: October 01, 2022, 11:13:06 PM
Ok so I tried

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u my_btc_address -p x --gekko-newpac-boost --gekko-newpac-freq 100

It crashed. I then removed --gekko-newpac-boost and I got the same problem.

Have you replace the my_btc_address with your Bitcoin address?

It seems that there issue on the driver you need windows have driver signature verification by default if you disable it the miner might work properly.

If nothing works better bring your issue to the official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5053833.2260
You can post it there and link this thread there.
2438  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PROBLEM WITH AISEN A1 PRO 21T LOVEMINER on: October 01, 2022, 10:47:27 PM

Since when did BO start to support this kind of mining gear?

Opppsss... I was thinking about Dragonmint t1 or Aladdin t1 because these units are supported by BraiinsOS so I thought A1 could also be supported by Braiins but after a bit of research and checking for the Braiins list of supported units I can't find Aixin/Aisen A1 on their list.

And I also check the a1 control board CPU it's Rockchip so it's different compared to t1 units Braiins does not support Rockchip units so it's not compatible.

i checked the fans and one of them is broke, there is some plastic missing and some broke, so i think thats why,
can be that the problem that doesnt mine ?

Why not, take a picture of the broken fan? And post it here so that we can see if the broken part has an impact to fan RPM.
2439  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PROBLEM WITH AISEN A1 PRO 21T LOVEMINER on: September 30, 2022, 11:59:55 PM
Would you mind to try to flash it with BraiinsOS?
It can bypass the fan check and this a bit risky because we don't have stock firmware with this unit.

There is someone here share a firmware with this unit but only for upgrading not for SD card flashing.
You can find the firmware here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5206886.msg54490620#msg54490620
Or you can check the line of PWR signal of that fan resolder the wire or replacing cable might fix the issue or replace the whole fan.
2440  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 controlboard cannot find IP. on: September 30, 2022, 11:43:33 PM
What do you mean? Did you flash s17 with s19 firmware?

If I'm right why not flash it again with s17 firmware through an sd card?

You can also use brainsOS firmware if ever the above does not work then flash it again with stock firmware.
