1541  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase planning to close accounts of certain users on 9th April? on: April 03, 2023, 04:46:51 PM
Pretty bad I have a verified account on Coinbase and have a few coins under their wallet and vault but since I stop using Coinbase for many years I think withdrawing the funds out from Coinbase will require KYC. The problem is when I created a Coinbase account before I used my father's name and ID but my father is working abroad so I guess my coins will be stuck in their wallet after April 9.
1542  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S17+ - doesn`t start hasing!? on: April 03, 2023, 04:28:58 PM
Have been careful with the pool addresses, also deleted and wrote new ones but no improvement. Miner refuses to start hashing.
Have also tried with another PSU and control board but without success.

I feel sooo frustrated, after have spending so many hours without any progress:(

What exactly is your miner's current firmware? Does it look like a Braiins OS?
I'm not so familiar with Braiins Logs but would you mind trying to reflash it back to stock firmware so that we can troubleshoot the issue of your miner?

Once you revert it to stock firmware set it again and let it run for a few minutes before you copy the whole kernel logs and update here.
1543  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: New Avalonminer a1246 not mining on: April 03, 2023, 04:11:00 PM
Under your logs this one "HASHS[1 0 0] "The first hashboard is bad meaning there might be a short circuit on the first hashboard.

Since you bought it brand new from Canaan it should be under warranty and you can resend that unit to them for replacement or to fix the issue.

I have a few suggestions you can try to disconnect the first hashboard and try to run it again let's see if there is changes on the API logs and update here for new logs. Don't forget to put all API logs inside the insert code tag it's a # sharp button while editing your post because most of the PRO here do not respond if you didn't properly post any logs.

I never heard of this website but based on my little research they are providing free classes for HTML, CSS, and Javascript I can't seems to find other programming languages.

If you talking about Bitcoin and want to learn about how to program it I already post some of the topic here in this section check my quote below.

I have a big source where you can learn about blockchain and you can start to build your blockchain right away by following the DIY guide from this link below.

https://github.com/openblockchains/awesome-blockchains#do-it-yourself-diy---build-your-own-blockchain

It has 5 different languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Java, Go and Python. Just choose where you want to focus.

Another source is the one below.

https://github.com/yjjnls/awesome-blockchain

It includes other altcoin blockchains and development. Hope that this is enough to learn about building your own blockchain.
1545  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Firmware for Innosilicon miner - there is? on: April 02, 2023, 06:27:19 PM
Currently, there is no custom/modded firmware available for this unit maybe in the future awesomeminer is planning to support it.
Or maybe find someone to swap your miner to Bitmain units because this unit is more flexible than other units like whatsminer, innosilicon, and Avalon.
1546  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Beagle Bone Board Controller For S19proj not working on: April 02, 2023, 01:04:12 PM
What firmware have you currently tested?
If it's a stock firmware would you mind trying Braiins OS?
I heard that they developing firmware that supports beaglebone except for the Armlogic board you can read more here Bitcoin Mining Control Board Variations Explained

If it doesn't work you don't have another choice but to replace it with the universal one where you can able to flash it with mod/custom firmware like BraiinsOS.
1547  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BB Controller Board in S19XP? on: April 02, 2023, 12:39:02 PM
The S19 XP came with a amlogic board (new style) but it died so I was going to try the BB board on it as I hear they are better for reliability.
I just want to make sure someone has tried this before I order it.

It should work but if it does not work due to hash boards mismatch power/serial number/etc. Then you can flash the control board with BraiinsOS to bypass this issue.
Just make sure that you buy a Xilinx control board not a beaglebone control board because this board can't able to flash with Braiins OS(Currently they developing firmware for beaglebone).
1548  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitget exchange SMS code receive issue on: April 02, 2023, 12:24:29 AM
How did you know that Bitget will scam in the near future?
Actually, it's a scam since before there are lots of reports outside of this forum.

It is likely the same as yobit with lots of shitcoins and most of the shitcoins can't able to withdraw.

Next time if you already do research and some say its a scam don't use their service unless your coins are only listed on their exchange?

Would you mind to try if you can able to add 2FA for the authenticator app? So that you have option instead of receiving 2FA code in mobile generate it with an authenticator app. Sms 2FA sometimes delays even on other exchanges due to DDOS attacks so switching to the authenticator app is the best option.
1549  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Firmware for Innosilicon miner - there is? on: April 01, 2023, 11:57:04 PM
Have you checked their website for the firmware? If not yet then check this link below

1550  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S17+ - doesn`t start hasing!? on: April 01, 2023, 04:27:35 PM
It looks fine have you set up the pool with the correct stratum URL and user and pass?

If yes would you mind erasing everything and setting up it again make sure it doesn't have any extra spaces because it may lead to connection failure to the pool server.

If it didn't work reflash the unit make sure to re-download the firmware and make sure only use a normal browser downloader don't use the internet download manager to avoid firmware corruption.

1552  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BB Controller Board in S19XP? on: April 01, 2023, 03:47:07 PM
What exactly do you mean by this did you receive an s19 XP unit with a v2.3 control board?
Or did you receive a different unit model and you are planning to use the control board for s19 XP?

If it was installed on your s19xp then it should work unless you buy a different control board.
Take note there is also a universal control board that works on s19 XP zeusbtc selling them.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone know what this component is? on: March 31, 2023, 11:57:39 PM
I think component from that image is LDO voltage regulator.

I tried to search about the datasheet for this components but it seems not available on Google.
Maybe you can replace it with same looks of this component from other boards.
1554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinmarketcap Portfolio Frustration on: March 31, 2023, 03:32:13 PM
I never use Coinmarketcap for tracking portfolio you are looking for mobile version portfolio tracker I suggest check these apps below

- Crypto Market Cap
- Coingecko
- Coin tracker

Use those keywords on Playstore to download them.

If you are looking for more tracker check this list below

1555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2FA Recovery Code on: March 29, 2023, 11:55:58 PM
How do I get the back up codes? I have set up Google authenticator in most of my apps and sites that require passwords to log in but I can't recall been given any back up code in case of phone loss or any other unfortunate circumstances. Is there any way I can go about to retrieve those back up codes now again?

I'm using the Google Authenticator app and the secret codes/backup should come from the website where you registered. If you don't have a copy of the backup/secret codes but you already imported them into Google authenticator what you can only do is to export them from Google authenticator you can find it on "transfer" after you click the 3 dots the only problem is it generates QR code, not the backup code.
If you want the secret code I suggest generate them again or request from the website/apps you registered.
1556  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 10 best recommended Bitcoin miners. on: March 29, 2023, 11:30:38 PM
Is this your best list? Why Antminer s5 and Dragonmint are listed here?
They are no longer profitable and have less support.

And another thing is s5 miner is power-hungry compared to the Compact F/USB ASIC-based miner that can pull only 15-30w or Futurebit Apollo which can mine 2.5th/s with 160 watts power consumption.

1557  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: To what extent can Artificial intelligence (AI) Enhance BTC mining. ? on: March 29, 2023, 11:10:14 PM
@alexkut987 actually no AI can optimize a said miner or mining farm when setting up a miner there are software or managing tool that you can automatically adjust and optimize a miner.
And there is no AI also that can detect fraud for mining pools I never heard of them.

It seems your post was generated from an AI bot based on what it looks like and some tools to check your post?
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be traced by IP address? on: March 29, 2023, 02:36:25 PM
But since I don't have a laptop, can I be able to access the use of Tor and electrum wallet with my phone, is an Android phone.

No, the mobile version doesn't have TOR if you are looking for a bitcoin wallet with the TOR feature then the only Android wallet that I know is the Schildbach Bitcoin wallet that you can download on Play Store.

But still, you will need to set up a TOR before you can add an onion address on the wallet's trusted peers under privacy settings.

Adding this I think you can use Android Electrum but you need to two wallets the wallet you control and a watch-only wallet where you can generate a raw/hex unsigned transaction and sign it with your wallet that you control don't broadcast it instead copy the raw/hex transaction then install a tor browser then go to this link below its a blockchair tor URL then you can broadcast your raw/hex signed transaction there

Code:
http://blkchairbknpn73cfjhevhla7rkp4ed5gg2knctvv7it4lioy22defid.onion/broadcast
I found this TOR URL from Blockchair tweet here
1559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be traced by IP address? on: March 29, 2023, 01:30:39 PM

I use trust wallet and that's is because it's the popular wallet that every body is using in my village, will it track my IP?

I don't know much about trust wallet how it works but according to their privacy policy users IP are recorded. Check this link below

So if you don't want someone to track your wallet follow the other suggestion above like switching to other wallet that has tor feature.
1560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can Bitcoin wallet be traced by IP address? on: March 29, 2023, 01:00:49 PM
I don't think your IP can be tracked I tried to check my all transactions on the explorer but it shows different IP.
Based on what I understand from the transactions the IP came from the peers or nodes where your wallet is connected to so there is a possibility that they can track your IP if the owner of the peer/nodes has IP records.

So if you want to protect your IP then you can set up your wallet to tor setup. Electrum and Bitcoin core has these features.

Sir please I don't understand all the abbreviations and how to use the Tor is what I don't know

Would you mind to tell us what wallet you currently using?
