1521  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Technical help for ELECTRUM wallet on: April 09, 2023, 01:53:22 PM
Be careful to take a screenshot of your issue and make sure the seed backup is not included on the screenshot.

Do you mind telling us where the seed phrase was generated? If it was from other wallets you might need to enable BIP39 on Electrum to proceed to the next step.
1522  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much you have earned through crypto referral on: April 09, 2023, 12:40:51 PM
I've given up on spreading affiliate links because it's not getting great results.
Maybe you could create a blog filled with trending information and provide your affiliate link below that information.
Or you can make a video about what you want to inform people about.
There are many ways to get lots of people but we have to really work hard and not stop before we can reach what we want.
But you should realize that other people are doing the same as you because they want to make money from the affiliation.

You don't know how blog works? Adding trending information won't able to make traffic. Promoting affiliate links needs some knowledge posting it here or there without SEO knowledge won't make any single referral.
So if you create content in your blog make sure you have SEO skill and the content must be optimized with a target keyword with low competitors. Also, Google won't index it without adding it into your webmaster tool.
Google is a great source of traffic but it takes time before you can gain huge traffic and earn from referral.
1523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price trajectory using AI on: April 09, 2023, 12:01:25 PM
Yeah. Although chatgpt keeps on saying that it has limited knowledge of world and events after 2021, I  thinks it keeps on learning. Anyway, it has several updates. Its learning is based on the amount of data that it has and the more conversations and inputs it receive from users. Its responses becomes more accurate overtime because it continues to learn from new inputs and data.

No, they are not learning they have plan subscriptions if you have paid you can use their latest features and new chatGPT version which is updated compared to the free one.
ChatGPT is free before until they decided to develop and improve the bot and add a subscription plan to stay alive.
The free ChatGPT is not accurate as the newer version so if you ask something on the free ChatGPT the answer may be valid or invalid. That is why people who use this tool should be aware that some generated text is invalid which may lead to false information.
1524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Block Transaction Count on: April 09, 2023, 01:02:37 AM
I can't seem to find another website to provide that data except for Blockchair BlockBoss_ already provided you with a good source but if you are looking for a more advanced tool with a specific date you can check this API below

Code:
https://api.blockchair.com/bitcoin/blocks?limit=100&sort=-id&date={YYYY-MM-DD}&fields=id,transaction_count

Replace the date you want to see 100 blocks with transaction counts.

Or this one below with Unix time

Code:
https://api.blockchair.com/bitcoin/blocks?limit=100&sort=-id&min_timestamp={timestamp}&fields=id,transaction_count

Sample today is April 9 and if you want to get blocks for a week ago April 2 you will need to use https://www.epochconverter.com/ to convert the time. Here's my sample below

Code:
https://api.blockchair.com/bitcoin/blocks?limit=100&sort=-id&min_timestamp=1679923200&fields=id,transaction_count

Blockchair API is a more advanced tool you can request any data that you want to retrieve but limited to the free user you can maybe buy their API plan if you want more data to retrieve.

There are many ways to run the miner with less noise you can either build a soundproof box or liquid cooling.

There are many guides here on the forum on how to do that check this one below

Other guides are also available on Zeusbtc below

1526  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Antminer T19 84th to 95th or underclock on: April 08, 2023, 11:34:06 PM
So you want to optimize the miner for power efficiency? Then have you heard about Braiins OS? Check it they support this unit.

If you don't know where to download check this link below it requires an SD card to run Braiins on your unit.

1527  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sinbad-mixer.io is this a clone site? on: April 07, 2023, 11:56:15 PM
That clone website seems to be not finished yet he forgot to put other pages like faq, news, and language choices.

I believe this clone was made by other competitors who trying to hijack traffic.
It is likely the same as what happened to Chipmixer there are lots of fake Chipmixer before.

I think Sinbad should buy almost all domains near on their domain name to avoid this phishing and cloning.
1528  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What will you do if you have a high mining hashrate on: April 07, 2023, 08:54:31 PM
Some pools can give you bonuses if you join on merged mining but the bonus reward is altcoin, not Bitcoin but you can able to exchange them directly on their exchange like on ViaBTC.

I don't think that you can easily earn more rewards if you mine on the pool with less hash rate but I think it depends on what payment method.
One of them is PPS which is a fixed payment and PPLNS which you get more rewards if you have big shares.
I suggest read more on Wiki about this here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mining_pool

For the best pool, I think ViaBTC with a merged pool makes you more rewards just don't mine on Binance they reward you less compared to the well-known pool for Bitcoin.
1529  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: mining one block with low hashrate on: April 07, 2023, 08:29:28 PM
I don't think that you can still mine a block with GPU it would take years before it can find a block and mine it and if you are bad luck it may also turn into orphaned.

There is much news before I think last year on solo ckpool someone mined a block with a low hashrate USB miner I guess. So you still have a chance to mine a block with low hashrate but not on GPU because it can eat much power compared to ASIC-based miners. Just take note the lower the hashrate the lower the chance that you can find and mine a block.
1530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fatal LevelDB error: IO error... using mergerfs on: April 06, 2023, 10:44:16 PM
I Just run ./bitcoind -reindex
Yes

Can you tell us what error did you get when you enter the -reindex command to the terminal?

When performing this command did you close your Bitcoin core wallet?
If not, try it again and make sure to close the bitcoin core wallet or go to wallet folder and open terminal there and use this command

Code:
./wallet-cli stop
After that command use the ./bitcoind -reindex again and then update here.
1531  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Lightning Network Transaction Stuck for 3 months on: April 06, 2023, 10:09:51 PM
If you are using a lightning network when sending BTC the receiver must be also connected to the lightning network if not the receiver won't able to generate an invoice or address of his LN wallet.
Unless the sender trying to send BTC via LN to Bitcoin address? It won't work, the LN address is a long text and the sender should request an invoice from the receiver before the sender can able to send BTC.

You might not yet understand how the lightning network works. I suggest check this big list below about lightning networks.

1532  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: looking for miner hosting on: April 06, 2023, 01:29:54 AM
Are you planning to launch a private pool? It doesn't need a miner to build a pool and launch.
You just need to host it to any VPS provider not on miner hosting unless you talking about hosting your miner?

What exactly do you want to achieve? If you are planning to set up a mining pool I suggest to check this "Setup a mining pool Guide"
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Fatal LevelDB error: IO error... using mergerfs on: April 05, 2023, 04:28:05 PM
How did you run the -reindex?
I never heard someone use mergefs for Bitcoin node but it looks like you are trying to combine two hard drives?

Bitcoin core might be confused on reading the drive. If I were you better not to use mergerfs instead use the 2nd drive or external drive as a Bitcoin directory for downloaded blocks and point the Bitcoin core manually on that drive(path).
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I need solution to this malware problem. on: April 05, 2023, 02:47:03 PM
Can you please recommend an Antivirus reputable for this, I am sure there are fake antivirus out there that will worsen this case of malware.
I'm using Kaspersky never had any problems or issues using it for many years you just need to make sure before you format and reinstall the OS make sure you already have a backup of your wallet if not make a backup first before you format.

And about the OS make sure to download it from Microsoft if you are going to use Windows OS and avoid downloading cracked/modded Windows OS from an unknown source it might have hidden virus/malware.
1535  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 04, 2023, 07:01:58 PM
Currently, I'm using Binance and I can't find any other alternative except for local exchange here in my country.
Coinbase would be the only option but they do have limited offers/services compared to Binance.
So I think if Binance will shut down my only hope is to use a local exchange which is way safer than using other exchanges.

Also, check the Coinex exchange it was owned by Viabtc and I am using this sometimes when trading my mined BTC to other coins.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Unconfirmed transaction on Bitcoin Android Wallet on: April 04, 2023, 06:49:32 PM
Hi!

There is an update about the tx. Recently it appeared again in the receiving wallet, but it's still unconfirmed. Does this mean that it can be confirmed in the coming days?

It appeared again after the mempool was purging txs with low sat/vB rate.

If your transaction is rebroadcast it would still be stuck on the mempool because the current network is pretty congested.

Would you mind telling us where the BTC came from? If it was from the exchange the only thing that you can do is to wait for the fee rate to drop on the mempool.
Or your final hope is to do CPFP would you mind to try to make a transaction while its currently unconfirmed go to send page and then make a transaction to send it to your receiving address this time make sure to change the fee to prioritized.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Electrum backup question on: April 04, 2023, 03:43:37 PM
If you remember the old password but it has missing characters then you can brute-force the wallet. Since you said the missing characters are numbers I think you can easily brute-force the wallet

You can follow this link below for missing numbers

1538  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain S9 - How to confirm hashboard failure on: April 04, 2023, 03:13:57 PM
The 3rd hashboard should be the Chain[7] if you don't have a replacement cable as suggested above I suggest swap them to Chain[5] or [6] to test if the 3rd hashboard is working fine but if not then the 3rd hashboard is broken you can replace it with new one but if you don't have a budget and want to repair it with your own check the hashboard physically for burnt parts and shorted using a multimeter.

You can also read this zeusbtc s9 repair full guide to find the test points here
1539  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase planning to close accounts of certain users on 9th April? on: April 03, 2023, 04:46:51 PM
Pretty bad I have a verified account on Coinbase and have a few coins under their wallet and vault but since I stop using Coinbase for many years I think withdrawing the funds out from Coinbase will require KYC. The problem is when I created a Coinbase account before I used my father's name and ID but my father is working abroad so I guess my coins will be stuck in their wallet after April 9.
1540  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S17+ - doesn`t start hasing!? on: April 03, 2023, 04:28:58 PM
Have been careful with the pool addresses, also deleted and wrote new ones but no improvement. Miner refuses to start hashing.
Have also tried with another PSU and control board but without success.

I feel sooo frustrated, after have spending so many hours without any progress:(

What exactly is your miner's current firmware? Does it look like a Braiins OS?
I'm not so familiar with Braiins Logs but would you mind trying to reflash it back to stock firmware so that we can troubleshoot the issue of your miner?

Once you revert it to stock firmware set it again and let it run for a few minutes before you copy the whole kernel logs and update here.
