1461  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitvavo: is it safe? on: April 23, 2023, 02:11:31 PM
I never heard of Bitvavo exchange I tried to search on the forum and it was mentioned here but in the local section under Nederlands.
I translated them but it looks like most of the posts are clearly promoting this exchange.

I don't think it is safe to use so if I were you better avoid this exchange and use a P2P exchange like RickDeckard mentioned above or optional look for Bitcoin ATM near you.

Check this map below to find your location and maybe there are some Bitcoin ATMs near your location.

1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: incorrect output of information on blockcypher.com on: April 23, 2023, 11:22:53 AM
I already tried and check them and yes they do have a different result.
I think maybe they do have different source or node and maybe Blockcypher source or nodes is not updated yet compared to mempool, blockchair, and blockchain.

Another thing is not all block explorers have the same ways of fetching data from nodes so maybe blockcypher is a bit delayed compared to other block explorers.

Or sometimes it's a bug just like what happened before on blockchair where the data is not accurate as blockchain does.
1463  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electum error signing a message on: April 23, 2023, 10:39:46 AM
There is a crash report about this error here below

It seems this error not only trigger on signing a message.

Have you selected the check button when confirming the sign message?
If you did then it might be a bug.

You don't have any other choice but to make a signed message through the ledger live as optional.

You can follow this guide How to Sign Message With Ledger Live
1464  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T3+ 57th - Replaced PSU - Fans stop start loop on: April 23, 2023, 09:42:53 AM

You say to check the soldering on the control board... do you mean the soldering underneath the sockets for the PSU plugs on the control board?

Yes, it might need to resolder, or need to clean the socket or terminals due to rust and dirt or maybe one of the terminals is not soldered properly.

Do you have a multimeter? It would be easy to determine if there is power on the control board while it's connected to PSU.

Or if you don't want to much hassle then replace the control board.
1465  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing techniques on: April 22, 2023, 11:59:36 PM
Are you talking about a mixer that looks like a Chipmixer?

Currently, there is no similar service that does the same what do you want to achieve why are you looking for the same service instead of using other mixers like Sinbad?
1466  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T3+ 57th - Replaced PSU - Fans stop start loop on: April 22, 2023, 11:43:09 PM
I will be sure to do this first thing! But yeah no show on the browser with IP. Thanks friend!
If you can't access the IP and can't detect the IP of the control board then possible that your control board is shorted or dead.

If you have a multimeter to check the power terminal of this control board you can know if the controller is shorted or not.

You can also check if the power from the supply to the controller is giving enough power or it might have no connection due to weak solder.
1467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using IP address for Bitcoin Core on: April 22, 2023, 03:31:29 PM
I think the data that can only be a leak is the data of what you visited online I don't think they can retrieve the data if you own that address and by analyzing the IPs and packet data they can check the IPs you accessing to since Bitcoin core needs to connect to peers or other nodes if those IPs are known then ISP or internet provider will detect that you are using Bitcoin core but not the Bitcoin addresses from your wallet unless you keep checking this address on the block explorer that they will think that URL that you keep accessing is your BTC address.
The same goes for RPC over the internet if you retrieve your wallet address through the RPC command then it would leak your Bitcoin address unless you enable the SSL to encrypt the data sent to the internet. But the problem is SSL was removed year's ago in Bitcoin core. That is why the only option you have, if you want to run a full node without data leak is to enable hidden Tor service.
1468  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum weird freezing on click on: April 22, 2023, 02:55:56 PM
Your wallet might have lots of transactions.
Would you mind sharing the specs of your laptop?

You maybe need to manually increase your virtual memory to fix this issue can you try it first? I suggest 4,096mb virtual memory.

Also, try to disable AV or add your Electrum as a trusted app and exclude it from scanning then update here.
1469  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T3+ 57th - Replaced PSU - Fans stop start loop on: April 22, 2023, 11:46:26 AM
Can you still access the IP through the browser?

If not, would you mind trying to disconnect all connections between the control board and hashboard also disconnect all fans, and then power the control board with the PSU and Ethernet cable?
Let's see if it will show any signs that the control board is still alive then access it through the browser.

If success accessing it through browser make sure to copy all logs and post it here.
1470  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 various errors on: April 21, 2023, 05:46:27 PM
Nicehash is the one that is now paying the most, with the same hashrate you get about 20% more.

What do you focus on? The 20% reward that you get from Nicehash or to fix the error/issue that your miner currently has?

It's your choice but I'd also like you to check more potential earnings on merged mining from ViaBTC you mine BTC then gets rewarded some free altcoins.
Check this https://support.viabtc.com/hc/en-us/articles/900001530543-What-is-Merged-Mining-
1471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me in choosing wallet before I make mistake on: April 21, 2023, 03:59:38 PM
There are lots of wallets to choose but all of them are depends on you how you protect your wallet from any attacks.

Do you have a budget? If yes then a hardware wallet is the best and yes it's technical but it is easy to use just make sure that you have a backup of your seed and passphrase to make sure in the future you can recover your wallet.
You can write the backup seed and passphrase into the piece of paper and save it somewhere safe in your house or your physical wallet.

Or if you don't have a budget you can start with Electrum cold storage/offline wallet which is very safe from any attack this is good if you are just saving your Bitcoin not for daily use because you will need to make a raw unsigned/signed transaction every time you make a transaction it is a bit hassle and it needs an extra device that connected to the internet where you can create raw unsigned and broadcast a transaction.
1472  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 various errors on: April 21, 2023, 03:34:56 PM
Nicehash is not a good pool same goes to Binance pool if I were you switch to better pool like ViaBTC pool or kano.is pool.

You can also find more pool under this link below

1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Is android laptop device good for installations? on: April 19, 2023, 07:41:50 PM
Android device running Windows OS. What device is that? Android is an OS while Windows is an OS too.

Is there any laptop that can't able to install Android OS?

My laptop has a dual boot with Remix OS which is an Android OS so maybe his laptop has dual boot Windows 8 and Android or maybe he just recently switches from Android OS to Windows 8.
There are lots of Android OS that support laptops like LineageOS, chromeOS, primeOS, etc.

@OP can you provide the model and details about your laptop or take a picture of your laptop? Maybe we can check the specs online if we know the exact model of your laptop maybe we can help you how to install the Bitcoin node.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is it possible to recover private keys? on: April 19, 2023, 07:27:24 PM
You created 3 consecutive threads in a few minutes without searching?
have you ever tried to use the search button to know if private keys are recoverable?

There are some tools that you can recover it like the Finderouter tool but only private keys with missing characters not the whole key.

Are you sure the private key was generated from Binance? Funny but why not ask Binance for recovery? Cheesy
1475  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Wallet Update on: April 19, 2023, 04:52:38 PM
It seems reasonable.
Because I download the Mycelium Wallet application from their site.

I got the notice directly from the Media Flow Mycelium Wallet.
https://media.mycelium.com/2023/04/18/update-mycelium-wallet-to-adjust-your-etherc-20-balance/

Before I opened the notification message, I immediately opened the Play Store but was not asked to update at all.

What do you mean did you download the Mycelium from their site first? And receive a notification? And then you check the Playstore if there is actually a new update?

I downloaded the Mycelium just now directly from their website after installing it my Mycelium upgraded to 3.16.0.16 so the latest app is currently on their direct link not yet been on playstore I guess it has still under review by Playstore for 7 days since Mycelium is under finance category.
1476  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Wallet Update on: April 19, 2023, 04:09:45 PM
Same here I receive the same notification with some ads promoting casinos and  gift cards

My current version of Mycelium is 3.16.0.15 maybe the older version won't be able to receive the same notification.

The latest version is 3.16.0.16 but when updating there is two option direct download from the Mycelium website or download the wallet on Playstore. I tried the Playstore but it doesn't have the new update yet.
So maybe the direct download from Mycelium is the latest version?
1477  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Resubmission of a modified transaction with the same fee on: April 19, 2023, 02:05:18 PM
You can do that and submit another transaction with the same fee when it's RBF enabled but the problem is the first transaction that you made will be the first to receive confirmation and the 2nd one will be rejected.

But most of the wallets out there do not allow you to pay the same or less unlike rebuilding the transaction manually through Coinb.in.

If the 2nd transaction with the bump fee is rejected then the original transaction should be rejected too. However, I never heard that there is a bump transaction that was rejected.
1478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OrangeWebsite.com is a SCAM Iceland web hosting OrangeWebsite is a SCAM BEWARE! on: April 18, 2023, 11:51:20 PM
I never heard of this hosting site before but after a bit search, it seems some users mention it here on the forum.

I don't know if they are scams or not but no one yet reports it that they are scam.

If you don't have a website hosted on their platform how can you tell that their service is a scam?

You must provide some evidence here to prove that they are scammers if you can't then we can't say that this hosting provider is a scam.
1479  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet on: April 18, 2023, 11:24:38 PM
If the Electrum wallet reads it and asks for a password it should be the right file.
From your image, it reads it means it's an Electrum backup file.

Be careful before you open your wallet backup make sure that you verify the Electrum installer there are lots of guides here on the forum including this one below to verify its authenticity and to avoid fake Electrum.

1480  Other / Meta / Re: Clarification on Plagiarism Rule and Policy on: April 18, 2023, 11:12:59 PM
Plagiarism is everywhere not only here but also outside on this forum if you have knowledge about SEO and a blog site you should know that plagiarism content won't be able to rank up on the SERP and your site will be banned on Google and won't be able to index any content from your blog.

It's the same here you will be banned if you post plagiarism content without proper credit to the content owner. The reason why they do not allow plagiarism is that it would also affect the forum in the future sample if Google detected that there are lots of plagiarism on this forum then they penalize all content/posts that were recently indexed, will be removed from the SERP or the forum will be banned for indexing any content to Google.
