2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The first NFT rug pull of 2022 on: January 12, 2022, 02:28:45 PM
An NFT collection called Frosties has vanished and steal amounting $1.3 million in the digital collectibles (click the article below)1. I think this wouldn't be the last and if by chance a bear market may happen this will just show who might survive and what are those legit projects that may thrive. What do you guys think, can we see more similar scenario like this?

2442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling addiction?! on: January 12, 2022, 01:24:07 PM
I think it's on the individual itself that they suffer addiction, more often than not it is totally subjective since we are all unique. I can say myself that we are like in common OP and I still happy about it. When it comes to addiction or having a problem gambling as what others called I think there are factors for an individual that triggers them to behave this way e.g. family problem.

I asked you OP, what could trigger the good friend of yours to get addicted?
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just seeing what interest there is for another Betnomi Poker Series on: January 12, 2022, 09:53:31 AM
This is very frustrating because I want to play in the Series so badly, and now my only hope is that there is a mistake in the Terms and Conditions, and if they were updated I would be able to play.

NOTE: I played in the previous Bitcointalk Poker Series on Betnomi and I won one of them, and then I won a bit more playing poker, and I did successfully withdraw $700 from the site 3 months ago.
Maybe they updated their T&C already after you played on the site. Maybe you can asked yahoo as he might be affiliated to them and asked if you can be whitelisted or something like that, well, it's just my opinion. Wouldn't want to breach the T&C but if there's else will be done then I guess that's it for you.

Last time, you played on 6 pm UTC; that's 11:30 pm here in my local  Undecided I guess I won't be able to participate if that's the time as I have more than a lot of works at that time but if it's earlier than this time, I'm interested to join the Poker Series as I really enjoy playing poker. Will bookmark the thread & wait for an update from you.
I guess the consensus would mostly falls on that period of time. Anyways, just keep an eye here maybe it will be changed later on.
2444  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 11, 2022, 09:19:42 PM
NFT staking is already available on Rollbit since a month ago iirc, well its not really 'NFT' but only limited to Rollbot. You can stake your Rollbot to receive 50% share of the NFT marketplace fee on Rollbit ( well small amount unless you have a decent number of percentage share ), thats quite awesome rather than storing your NFT in either your wallet or list it on marketplace with no utility at all
Well, that make sense that they will only allow Rollbots to be staked since it's their project, I guess that's still NFT staking. I do NFT staking on one project and it's really awesome to know that you can still have the utility over it and I'd rather do it than just stuck it on my wallet, the only hindrance sometimes was the gas fees since it's on Ethereum network.
2445  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 11, 2022, 03:39:24 PM

Anyway, Rollbit launched NFT loans on their site. Basically you can put up your NFT as collateral and borrow some amount from the site with 7 days free interest, cool stuff huh and I dont think that there is any gambling site out there that has similar feature. It seems that Rollbit is trying to launch as many new feature as they can that revolve around the NFT hype

https://blog.rollbit.com/introducing-nft-loans/
Saw it few days back and really like the concept of collateral loan against your NFT and above of that if you can repay it within a week no interest for the same is good approach to help and boost the new addition. They are one of type because i think they are first one to launch their own NFT so they are coming up with these new ideas.
How could they be so diverse as a gambling site? I think this is a good addition for them considering how hyped their Rollbit NFT was and how nice to have 0 interest for a week, it's win-win thing I guess. NFT loans I think the next thing is NFT staking? I don't know if anyone has heard of it but anyone can learn it here from Binance.
2446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fear and Greed index. Don't time the market! on: January 11, 2022, 01:57:40 PM
OP, we are all plebs, and newbies, with some trolls who missed their opportunity. The rich ones who truly made millions have left the forum. Plus I believe REAL FEAR has currently not entered the market. Everyone still agrees with me when I say let’s buy the Dip, and HODL. Hahaha.
This one.

Seems I've encountered the bloody one, yet I can say I'm not considered as an expert one too. I don't consider F&G as the best tool as well, I think it needs some purge with the current noise it made on the market and who are those really in it for the long term. I wonder if it decrease the twitter posts and those TikTok vids lol 😂
2447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pros and Cons of Gambling on: January 11, 2022, 11:01:34 AM
Aren't it was always cons outweighs the pros? Well, that's how I put it, most of the time even if we say we are just into it for the leisure we can't deny the fact that we sometimes get hooked on it. I think we shouldn't label all people that are in here do gambles some just wanted to join a discussion I guess.
2448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just seeing what interest there is for another Betnomi Poker Series on: January 11, 2022, 09:43:50 AM
Should be $10 buy-in is fine I guess since we can have a rebuy. What do you guys think? I'm fine with either Sat or Sunday but just look above @1ron1c seems not fine in it. Should be fine if it's always a weekend series since I myself was busy during the weekdays.
2449  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2022, 12:47:07 PM
I wonder when the price of Bitcoin will reach $ 100k +. Because at present the approval of bitcoin is increasing in different countries. And different countries based cryptocurrencies keep coming to the market. From that point of view, it is expected that the price of Bitcoin will increase the most. But in the next few years, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, so long-term Bitcoin will continue to improve. What is your opinion?
All of us do wonder the same thing but I think we need some corrections like what happened this weekend. Is it alarming on the name of Bitcoin if countries are accepting bitcoin as a currency? I don't think it is at the macro level. In the long term we all expect it to rise but we really may never know if how long will it take to get there.

Be patient and hoard what you can afford.
2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Fear Index at 10 on: January 08, 2022, 08:55:12 PM
Was it a proven tool that if it goes to that level we could bounce back? If so that's a great but we may never know as it could go lower since 10 isn't the lowest yet.  Maybe we just need some silence from here on out then comeback again for the next month or two.

I think that 39600 was the best support we've got right now and if it broke that I don't know but will keep on waiting.
2451  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hhampuz- time to dig a little deeper into this garbage man on: January 08, 2022, 02:33:42 PM
Likely one of the few users that was ignored by Hhampuz recently I guess, I could be wrong but it's just my intuition. Take a look on the threads that this likely connected. I don't know what's the upbringing but the big question - "Does this OP even have balls?" To be honest, it can be asked decently like if Hhampuz owns one or not but you put it on different perspective OP. This isn't a huge question to asked since I think Hhampuz can answer it decently as well.
2452  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Possible ATH ng isang coin, paano malaman? on: January 08, 2022, 11:39:19 AM

2021 on: January 08, 2022, 05:43:39 AM

2454  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 08, 2022, 04:13:37 AM
Not gonna speculate but I don't think it's always to stay in constant as there are no permanent thing except change. Still staying on the sidelines is probably the best move I could ever think right now, probably the bestest.

I don't know if we gonna go back to 20k level once again but my stablecoin portfolio is always waiting to get some cheaper bitcoins and other favorite top alts.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 08, 2022, 02:12:27 AM
I think as it was the anticipated comeback hoping that Klay wouldn't disappointed us that he's at even on 80-90% form right now after that rehabilitation. I wonder if the chemistry was gone for both of them but I doubt if it has. Good thing that they started to heat without Klay maybe they'll be unstoppable now that he's been added to the lineup now.

Regardless of the chemistry is still there or not, it can be worked out easily due to the fact that Klay already knows the drill with the Warriors system. He is also joining practice sessions with the team as a good start to work with new guys on their team.

Actually, the Warriors can still keep him out of the court as the team is currently doing good. But there's a written term that if the player is cleared to play and everything is totally fine, they should play.
I know and will be hopeful since Poole was just like the Klay that Stpeh wants when he's still out and I think to myself maybe he played that role until he gets back or there can be an addition of Splash Brothers. I guess just for the meantime he can be the supporting role as we never know if he's fully healed and able since there are numerous thing (I'd say most) in the past that injuries don't heal that quickly even after long rehab.
2456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My 5 months newbie experience on: January 07, 2022, 09:42:46 PM
It's just good to know that there are still newbies that walk in the light of quality posting here in the forum. I don't know if this is declining as the merit system was really hard for almost all newbie that joins but here you are @Wiwo as a proof of that grinding.

I do hope that you'll get the next rank on the pipeline and keep on those quality posting as still one of your focus. Always have a goal in mind and who knows you'll get the Legendary rank just this year, we may never know. Good luck!
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport's betting experience on: January 07, 2022, 09:25:12 PM
There's no strategy that will bring you success if you will only be based on the odds, it won't work in the long run as for me that's blindly betting. The odds can be tricky as sometimes the team may be the favorites based on the odds but it could only be overvalued. You need to carefully analyze, look for an undervalued teams before you bet as that would make you profitable in the long run.
Exactly. I've been there as a noob in this gambling and just following the odd strategy doesn't really give you the edge over time. Maybe sticking on what was your favorite team or doing more some research before the game happens was much more helpful to me. I don't know if looking somehow to undervalued teams as always is a profitable strat but it could be wrong most of the time too, best to stick on analyzation.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick reminder from Eric Adams, mayor of the City of New York. on: January 07, 2022, 08:20:57 AM
Others tend to make it complicated tbh. Well, we need mainstream for this sometimes but a true believer will not be worried even if a known Mayor was having his thoughts of hope or not. Whatever goes down may come back up, there's nothing permanent. This isn't the rok bottom of Bitcoin, we've already send far worse and to get to the top we really need corrections.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just seeing what interest there is for another Betnomi Poker Series on: January 07, 2022, 05:06:11 AM
I was just told I could go huge if I see potential. I haven't really worked out the numbers and how big the prize pool will be at this time.
Well, if it's yahoo I can trust that this will be huge and you can pull it off. Whatever might be the pool this time around I think the participants may still choose to opt in as I see the excitements from the individuals especially those who was part of the last BPS. Thanks for the response.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 06, 2022, 09:46:04 PM
There are only a few days left for Klay Thompson to be back at the team finally. He has been injured for a very long time period and this affected Warriors deeply too. Maybe Curry still played insanely superb and carried his team most of the time. But they still felt Thompson's absence as all of the load has been on Curry's shoulders. Sometimes, players like Wiggins helped too but they were rare moments.
