1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 09, 2022, 11:52:17 PM
Would it be the defense that wins championships?

That Boston's intense hustle plays, I thought the momentum of the Warriors was continuous when they already leads the game.

It started by Brown and finished by Tatum (seems lucky).
I guess that still applies here and I wouldn't definitely call that lucky when in fact they are doing what they can. These guys are professionals and I wouldn't call those just lucky. The Warriors players are impossible to contact on their outside shootings, most of them are elite when it comes to that but I think if only Draymond can defend its best plus the foul trouble they had, that wouldn't make them win yesterday. They need to defend the paint, it's where the Celtics are good at.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 09, 2022, 09:24:16 PM
A great match Celtics who dominated almost the entire game. Warriors actually returned to this match for a while only in the third quarter, but the reaction of the hosts was very good and they quickly returned to a 10+ point advantage, which they did not lose until the end of the match. In the Boston team, as usual, great Tatum and Brown, and today finally also Marcus Smart showed his high class. All three of them finished the match with 20+ pts, 5+ reb and 5+ as. The last time this happened in 1984.
They got the chance to flip the momentum but the trio Smart, Brown, and Tatum are just impossible to contain on the last quarter. I guess they need to put similar effort this Saturday for them to extend the lead and they should do since it's still their homecourt and that's their main advantage to dominate.
1863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: June 09, 2022, 01:09:11 PM
Bounty and airdrops are waste of time. By the time hunter gets anything and it gets listed somewhere, half a year would pass. By that time he could have done some freelance jobs to get a starting capital to buy at least some crypto, instead of doing useless retweets and shares. Hope that people dont advice to try luck in faucets Cheesy as this is way more stupidest way to spend time.
For not so top tier bounty and airdrops, it's total waste of time but for those with the likes of top airdrops just recently like Uniswap, Ape, etc., they are not. I guess those projects that do that are typically scam that just wanted your time and effort to promote them and scam investors. Faucets are the past stuff but usually when it's in the present we think it's not worthy but time passes for example Bitcoin faucet back then, it's regrettable. Today, I guess too rare for something like that, faucets these days as you say is just a waste of time.
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 09, 2022, 11:39:14 AM
GSW seems weak tonight especially being in foul trouble for his some silly moves. It's so hard to beat Boston when they are in perfect shooting form and a refs on there side protecting there back.

There still a chance since they are always strong on 2nd half despite there bad start. I put to small money for GSW ML just in case they miraculously turn around this game.
GSW really got the best 3rd quarter and the 4 point play by Curry, the clutch 3 by Porter was the momentum shifter for them but they can't contain the Boston. I don't think the refs are on their side, it's just the right calls bus was too thin I guess for the refs to call it. I guess the Warriors may make a comeback this Game 4.
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 09, 2022, 06:20:58 AM
One thing that comes into our mind when the outcome or the result of the game is too different from what we expect is that it was a fixed game which is just our assumption. Some games only turned out different simply because sports are sports and anything can happen anytime. The result won't always go in favor of what we want.
Exactly, most of the time we're just on the assumption stage considering we vouch for the player/s or for the whole team.

If you are a watchful person, I believe you can suspect the behavior and expressions of players, coaches and support team, but it's impossible to be assured without further investigations and evidence which must come from someone who is inside the industry, and not from a random spectator. In every sports there are cases of suspicious results people didn't accept by nowadays, although they can't prove anything with certainty at same time.

What gamblers can do is to avoid minor leagues in order to decrease the chance of betting in a fixed match and being "scammed".
Probably this are for the keen eyes and can literally see the behavior and expression of the individual, and you can tell I can't do that. The thing is, most rigged games can only be known or catch is when the game already happened even with just tiny details. And the worst in it, bettors already win and even if you protest, that would take a lot of time or worst as I'd say, it will never be changed. Take an example are some boxing matches.
1866  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto taxation in the Philippines coming soon? on: June 08, 2022, 07:27:10 PM
Just read the recent made by serjent05, kaya napunta ako sa thread na ito, mas nasa top kasi yun.

1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How has SEC contributed to the blockchain industry? on: June 08, 2022, 04:23:38 PM
I don't think they had a contribution in the blockchain industry, they're more likely always at the lookout or eavesdropping to do somewhat they call regulations. I don't think in the coming years or decade to come they'll be able to contribute, they'll always be that organization that just warns the public to extent that crypto is a too risky asset.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 08, 2022, 01:26:59 PM
It could be on basketball, boxing or horse racing, or any kind of sport, after being in a particular sport for many years can you see or tell if a fight or event is fixed, there are upsets but in the back of our mind, there's a possibility that the match or game is fixed.
I don't think that wouldn't be a simple stuff to tell if they're rigged or fixed (whatever you call it), that will be hard tbh. I'm more into basketball but there's no easy way to tell it unless you know it for yourself from the people who might arrange these kind of things. I guess our mind can be tricky especially if we are betting someone to win yet we lost but you saw a simple mistake either from the referee/s or from the player, you'll think it's fixed.
1869  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 08, 2022, 10:11:23 AM
Why are people hyping these useless sites when these sh*t things they do are obvious.
Maybe they're putting money at stake here for them to be known? We are free to speculate on that but we can't get individuals rights to play there just because you don't like it. Maybe people doesn't see what you see on Stake and PD on what are worst on you and for them it's not, we all have different perspective.

If these people know and fine with having no loss back, let them be, it's their choice. You do your own research and it's for them to be aware on it or do the same as you do, you can't control them or these casinos may control some individuals. That's the fact.
*Almost perfect.

Just lmk ask, for being known by who? Stake? A website which the only goal is to take all your money? xD

Just a note: almost all high rollers have "private profiles". I havent never seen a race winner with public profile and/or statistics.
So you're saying that to all online casinos, since they are profitable as always since they're taking money to users? So you're not attacking Stake here but all casinos? Provide me a casino site that doesn't have the goal to take a money or profits, literally they're at loss.

What's your claim that because they're having private profiles for race winner, that it's all just fake? You ever thought that those race winners are huge whales that doesn't want their names to be known? Fine, you're on your echo chamber, you wouldn't trust any statements from others. 👋
I would not have any problems with "big whales" on stake if they where transparent about where the money is going.

I dont want to know a name or anything like that, i just want to know that i'm not being robbed. How they will do it? Only god can tell. Otherwise they can just sonegate taxes all the way saying "whales" won big amounts in their site.

And i dont agree with fucking taxes, its just a example of how a site like that would contribute negatively to society.

Ofc all sites operate for profit, but enterprises have transparency, you can sue them if you want, and they will you show you proof. Stake will not.

Even in a libertarian society this kind of act would not be supported, this would be repressed until transparency would take place (or not, its just supositions). Dont take my comment as salty, please, i'm just trying to build an argument. If we people accept this kind of acting, everything will be acceptable in the future.

If you accept this kind of act, you can be the next one. Remember that.
Yes, that's the point. Stake will not show proof unless there's some way others may do it or they will at their own volition, that's the end of the argument. My comment wasn't that salty too, you can take it as more neutral, I'm not attacking nor defending them.

If you're not happy that they aren't that transparent, you can still find other casinos that still do or your preferred one. I'm not accepting anything to be honest, I'm just into facts that this has been raised by other users in the past, not just for Stake and PD but on other  online casinos that still exists today.

Hello everyone, I've been using online sportsbooks for a while now, but I wanted to know how do you know how to trust those sites? What do you look for in them, what are some red flags for you, that kind of stuff. Hope it makes sense and please share what are your favorite online sportsbooks.
Not that going into fine details but having been known in the
right community (e.g. here and other known gambling forums) was likely advantageous to ask around. What I do look is if it's really that active, has lot of players, and the odds if it's better than the other trusted one. The red flags are of course those accusations, though it may subjective on whether you'll not research on it or not.
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Celer Network token pump or not ? on: June 07, 2022, 04:33:21 PM
What do you think about Celer Network (CELR) It will pump soon or not ? I invested a huge amount on it but I'm in a big loss since I invested on it.
I think they need a catalyst for them to pump or wait until the whole market turns green once again. You're not the only one here that was in a loss unless you really buy it at the top, that's for sure a 70% decrease from your portfolio or even more, I guess. Well, as I have said they need a catalyst but you need to research more regarding that on what are they trying to develop.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 07, 2022, 02:23:44 PM
Warriors equalized the series as I expected and I was very confident about it. Warriors are a really predictable team in some specific games. For example, they started this series really badly but I knew that they were going to atone for it right away in the second game. They did this by a huge performance too and Celtics were helpless against them in the first three quarters. They were able to decrease the gap by only four points in the last quarter and had no choice other than submitting to them at the end.
It looks like they are still gonna defend that title favorite for this year's NBA title. The thing is, will they beat them on the Celtics homecourt? During the regular season they got a 28/13 during their home games and 5/4 this playoffs. That's still 50%+ advantage for them this playoffs to win on their homecourt while 3/4 win for GSW on the road. That should be noted I guess.
Forget about the past events, this is the finals and it's very unpredictable. We can based on the game 1 outcome, we thought that the Warriors will not lose game 1 because they have not lose a home court game in the playoffs so far, but the Celtics surprise them in the 4th quarter and have dominated them clearly.

now, Warriors are on the road, we know they are a good team so they have a chance to steal one game on the road, not sure which game it is.
I guess I am referring to what Velvet78 has just said there, "being predictable". He may have said for some specific games but I do think that stats from this year are still measurable for specific things too. Yeah, it's unpredictable, my point was just on the stats, if it will be based on there since there are still people that depends on it.

I know how good Warriors are and I still do that they have the huge chance to get the ring but if it's unpredictability, Celtics may surprise us too.

It's hard to decide actually, but I would stick with the underdog here which is the Warriors.
I don't think the Warriors was the underdog here, they got players here who already have Finals appearances compare to the roster of the Celtics, all of them was their first time.

1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: June 07, 2022, 08:33:19 AM
Just as there are crypto trading bots, there are also gambling bots. According to Wikipedia, Gambling bots are software which use a gambling website's Application programming interface (API) to speed up the process of placing bets based upon a gambling system or betting strategy to decide which bets to place. In short, they are AI powered bots that do the betting for you. Aside form the risk of having your casino account closed, these bots are not ideal for all types of games. There are several reasons people give for using bots. From making betting easier, being able to use multiple bots at once, to being highly able to accurate predictions about a game’s outcome that could in turn increase the individual's chances of wining.

Have you ever tried to use the autobet on some gambling websites or have you successfully used third-party bot scripts for betting on sites where it is allowed? Did the bots win?
By the looks of it, that doesn't mean to be a nice thing to even try on. The risk was too huge if you're a casual gambler, just the thing to close your account is risky enough. I haven't tried it and I know this thing exist but there are several statements that supports how risky these bots are. Buying such scripts are not recommended too, it may contain malicious files in it.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 07, 2022, 05:58:41 AM
recently I've come across some information for an upcoming soccer match and I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, how easy would it be for me to take out a loan and how long would it take? has anyone else done something like this?
I think there might be that it happened in the past but for sure that was too risky for a move to loan just for the sake of betting, it's a ridiculous thing. It's still a gamble and you will never know the outcome unless you're really that ready to loan and if you lost you're ready for the consequences. If you can pay the loan and can fathom the risks, then it's your own gut that will be followed.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 06, 2022, 08:58:15 PM
We experienced unexpected events or moments in gambling like this one, you are calling it off a day in a session then you're suddenly on a winning streak thinking that it's your time to get back what you've lost will you go or will you stop and come back the next day.

I'm sometimes tempted to continue but I know you cannot beat the house, so most of the time I just call it a day and just wished that tomorrow or next time it's my lucky day. What about you what's your take.
Of course we say that we wanted to quit for good but in the end we end up on the losing side since we follow that subconscious or the ego we have. I think I can count how many times I quit when I was ahead compare to quitting when already at loss. I guess that's just pure gambling.

...Blind investment wouldn't get you nowhere unless you really have that risky appetite on you, but if you don't, better have a financial advisor with you.
It is obvious that not all coins, after the end of the bear market, can increase in price to high, while installing a new ATH. Therefore, it is very important to conduct your own research before buying a particular coin, otherwise you may lose your money.
People likely wanted to find coins that may give them 100x or more, it's a not a bad culture but for some reason it's getting rare unless you got in early. People will tend to focus on altcoins when in fact Bitcoin can still be profitable in the long term. Don't invest on coins you don't know how it works, just a simple advice.

I don't know if we really did hit the bottom already but there are signs and indication that it had already did and as well as the capitulation. We may never know this things but base on experience, you don't have to go against the trend, it's true the saying that "trend is your friend". Blind investment wouldn't get you nowhere unless you really have that risky appetite on you, but if you don't, better have a financial advisor with you.
