1961  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: May 14, 2022, 02:35:30 PM
Grabe pala binaba ng SLP mula noong huli kong nakita yung price nya sa PHP 0.8+. Last month ata yung huli kong tingin sa price nyan.

1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8 Suicides Have Been Confirmed Because of the $Luna Crash. Why did Luna crash? on: May 14, 2022, 04:58:00 AM
As the crypto market grow, these type of incidence really effect the market. I think strong project are on the stack now as trust on the ecosystem of strong projects like DOT, ETH and BNB are on the verge of crumbling. But it's a matter of life of death when it comes to all in your life savings. Share your thoughts how you would improvise your portfolio?
Sad that we need to see these incidents and hoping that people will learn a lesson that your life savings doesn't depend on one single asset or investment. The number is too alarming and hope Do Kwon and the Terra Luna team do pay for this or be at least responsible of what had happened.
1964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: May 14, 2022, 02:55:06 AM
That would take a lot of thoughts on what could you research for a gambling thesis and more often than not, your professor would even let you repeat for just the title. There are a lot in mind but it wouldn't be that easy just because anyone is thinking about it, furthermore, there might be similarities on other past thesis.
1965  Economy / Speculation / Re: $28,000 Bitcoin price. How explain falling price to worried newbies ? on: May 13, 2022, 06:02:19 PM
Forex and cryptocurrency is a totally different market and so it wouldn't be comparable at all. Volatility is a thing that will eat alive investors in the crypto space and if not being cautious on what an individual invested for, then, frustration is really at hand. I'm being cautious who I teach crypto and being cautious too on what they need to learn because at the end of the day there are individuals that always point fingers if they seem to be at loss even if they are responsible for there own investments.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: May 13, 2022, 01:21:29 PM
Everyone can but there's only few gamblers that have actually did it because of mere luck, it's just they need to know and understand that it's not an easy path towards that way and there's a very high chance that you could lose a couple bucks first before you win big time as we always have experienced. But yes, I do a agree that we should have to know our line and when to stop even if it's too tempting already.
The stories of those successful bettors and high rollers, we'll never know how much they've lost along the way. It's great to see them win such amounts and rolls high.
True, they have to control themselves and decide how much they're willing to lose within a day. If it's small for them and big for us, that's not a matter and it's still their money to gamble.
For average gamblers like us, what OP posted will make us envious and wished that we also have those winnings, you only won that amount if you bet a huge amount of money it's rare to see where you start with 2 figures and end up 5 or 6 figures richer, you are on 2 figure you just multiply that figure to 10 and that's the best that you can reach anymore than that you're in extreme luck, they bet huge so they win huge, for all we know the guy just double his amount, and we never know what follows after those bets or figure that we've seen.
You don't need to if your capacity isn't really that huge, these high rollers are getting huge amount of money on rewards since they risk huge bets too. Imagine if it's the other way around, then, they get huge loss too. The higher the risk the higher the loss or winning, it's that simple and that's nothing complicated.
1967  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: May 13, 2022, 08:52:19 AM
Everyone was so hyped about this NFT and most people are actually already getting profits out of these Rollbots by either flipping it or keeping it for additional free bets + profit share.

This is why the gambling community as well as other were hyped about minting this V2 rollbots because they wanted profit in the buckets which they are getting away from the team in form of free bets more according to me as flipping benefits are not too high at this time.
I am not entirely sure if getting free bets really worth the 2k some of them paid for it. I mean not saying that it doesn't worth anything at all, but the returns for owning one doesn't feel like it should benefit you enough to justify the cost. I do not think that people should invest that much money to get such a low return, or at least it feels like low return for me.

What I believed it would give was basically just returns like dividends, if that were to be true then I would guess it would make sense. Like if you keep making money by doing thing just because you own v2 then it would make sense to buy it and hold as long as you can.
The people are investing in NFT for lot of different things like profits, having one as PFP and other benefits so we all can have different opinion on this as you see many holders still want to hold and are enjoying the small benefits also.It is much better than other zero utility NFT out there on which people are spending huge amounts.
Others just want the utility they get or they wanted to flip it for profit as you said. I do like to have it as PFP but overall is that I want the utility and other benefits from the community since that's the reason I get into some not notable NFT community but giving utility they can offer to their users. Look for NFT that has utility especially building connections, creating opportunities and you can learn along the way to the founders and your peers.
1968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree ETH have become seen as less risk asset over BTC? on: May 13, 2022, 07:01:39 AM
I'd say it will still be the asset that has the huge market cap that is less risky and Bitcoin I believe is the asset we are talking in the crypto space. If we are talking to the whole crypto, nothing is a safe haven to be perfectly honest, they will impose great risks.

Looking after few promotions that are being published in the telegram. Just loving the new lightening roulette!! Though the point system is taking ages to build with my kinda wager, which are low few cents worth etc. I know that’s less chance of winning those daily 500 bucks but it’s really fun to play. Nice strategy, as I never used to play the roulette section much before, it’s good they introduced the promotions. Hope to see more of them coming along the way.
Lightning roulette, I do love that one too since it's live and interactive but as per my experience I haven't win that much to get that highest multiplier out there. It's best to play decent like dollar just don't be greedy along the way since that will trigger just bankruptcy in the first place, always be safe while playing.
You cant really ensure yourself about safety when you are dealing with gambling game since odds of losing those capital or money of yours would really be always high and you should
be prepared or aware of that. As for roulette game then it doesnt matter if you are playing with fiat or crypto value, the essence of thrill and excitement would really be just the same.
Just dont try to chase or force yourself to win up on every game that you are engaging.
I'd say it's always at the 60/40 and losing side is always the highest. I'd like to gamble crypto since it's online where I mostly lurk although not that much since I have work to do so. It's always a good advise that you don't have to chase those losses because that will just trigger you to gamble more and you wouldn't notice in the worst case scenario you're already at a huge loss.

1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: May 12, 2022, 05:53:08 PM
I know many either bought at $30K or $28K because it seems like a great price. Or even earlier at $25.5K.

However if you look at past bear cycles you are going to have a lot of time to make your purchase. Better buying 10% higher from the low than guessing and getting a massive 50% loss.

Remember November 2018, it broke $6000. Went to like $5K, people assumed it was the bottom and then the ultimate rug pull down to $3.2-3.5K.

You could of waited and bought close to the mid $3K for weeks.

Patience and stay away from leverage….
But do history really repeats itself that fully? I wonder what could be the answer but we all don't know, no one can predict the bottom nor the peak, but one thing is for sure is to DCA, don't put all your money on one asset and in a bear market it's always advisable to do DCA, go to stable assets or don't do anything at all and wait for it to come back up (though this one was for those coins/tokens that survived the blizzard in crypto, I'm referring to Bitcoin and Ethereum).
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to LUNA? on: May 12, 2022, 04:48:11 PM
I wouldn't even thought it would have a dead cat bounce from the chart, the frustration is in the head of those who invest in it. Glad I'm not, most of my portfolio was in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other stablecoins that are backed by real assets, though there are rumors spreading that other stablecoins would be next. Not gonna stay calm but I'm DCA'ing some Ether or Bitcoin from here on out.
1973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warriors vs Grizzlies 2nd round discussion on: May 12, 2022, 03:13:54 PM
Grizzlies has good team chemistry tbh, wherein, even there's no ja morant on the game they can still play and dominates their opponents. And for me it's not because of the venue, i mean home court or away because indeed it's very clear on the records that this season the team has good performance specially the first 5.
That was an impressive team effort there by the Grizzlies team without their ace player Morant. Looks like the home team will dominate the next time, Warriors was just likely to extend this series and then win it by next game, we may never know but Warriors was still dangerous on crucial moments.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WE NEED A HALL OF FAME? on: May 12, 2022, 12:08:26 PM
I made this post because i think we, the community of gambling of bitcointalk need a kind of Hall of Fame.

What im saying?. Some like a thread that show all the winner of major events like, big Poker tournaments, Predictions pools.

You can see all the winners of the tournaments or best positioning in one post. And also this can work like a "trust" tabble to who is speaking in any thread, like ohhh see he is the winner of X competition.

Example:

Top 3 of BETNOMI POKER SERIES.
Top 3 of Sportsbet Predictions POOL

What do you think?
I don't think the forum administration will ever get involved to let it mark on some users in their profiles if that's what you're asking.  People tend to forget if it wouldn't be regularly tournaments and on the forum's side that is reasonable considering people just come and go and besides all or I'd say most are just here partly on their time and not fully.
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 12, 2022, 09:16:26 AM
The issue starts on the event handle by the higher person in the world of PH sabong which is some of the sabogero/Gambler are getting missing that's why the president makes a ban with the use of this game its just a casual game before that people keep enjoying but recently they see that its like an easy money and does not paying tax at all of the games and the people of the PH are getting addicted that causes their assets and money losses i guess President Duterte makes this a good move to prevent people wasting too much not productive in this game.
That concerns a lot to the President I'd say since this is just the incident that happen where lot of missing person was gone in just a day then just found dead with lots of gunshots on their bodies. I think it was a good call from the President to do his duty for his people and besides if the virus is contained a lot of people will enjoy the traditional cockfighting they always love to attend if the government prioritize the containment. Is just around the corner I guess.
1976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: May 12, 2022, 06:20:04 AM
Marcus Smart shouldn't have sit down after that Block from Holiday and he even let that one to be stolen too from him once again. They should have let Tatum get the ball since he was the one that keeping them the leading. They let the Bucks to get the best of them especially on defense and they are nailed in the 90+ zone tbh.
Bolton Celtics is so lazy to recover those lose balls and instead he just hit the ball to get it outside. For me those last rebound during the Giannis missed free throw could be the game changer if they get it. They are always beaten by Bucks when the end game is crucial close game fight. Giannis is unstoppable to get points on those last final minutes but he can't still manage to perfect his free throw though. Bucks is just lucky to have a very strong rebound capability.  Cheesy
The Al Horford follow up dunk was the momentum shifter they need and that's when they got the high morale considering this 35 years old was still doing those kind of stuffs at his age. I guess lazy is the right word to be honest, Williams was a great defender for Giannis but he can't contain it either, they should learn a lesson to who can stop Giannis now, they are in their homecourt the next time and it's different thing, Bucks will surely dominate them.

It would be better if it's a step by step instructions instead of just making a thread where the readers are puzzled on what they wanted to do next. Afaik, fortune of wheel was from the idea in freebitco.in? I think you're misleading the readers here OP with those hashes and the casino link you provided too.
1979  Economy / Gambling / Re: I miss the old OnChain gambling on: May 11, 2022, 07:47:12 PM
Well, things do change and we need to embrace that and for some obvious reasons we are moving forward to what's the future would hold. I do like onchain gambling feature as I've read it, but if it isn't a trend anymore then there has some downside in it as well.
1980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: May 11, 2022, 01:22:18 PM
This FUD with UST and LUNA is the main driving force now for other crypto to decline and just by posting this reply the LUNA token is at a dollar below and 30 cents for UST. What could be worst? Just this time Bitcoin hit 29k too, though it's still above the line from the recent low that hits in July of 2021. Oops, is it a bear month or a FUD month?
