1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 16, 2022, 01:27:27 AM
Boston Celtics fans should just continue to cheer up for the team as the series is not over yet.

It's a rare situation where the Boston Celtics will suffer 3-game consecutive losses. The boost from the TD Garden's home crowd on Game 6 should give Celtics the momentum they need. Regardless of whether the Golden State Warriors will play well or not on that night, the Celtics will surely do everything to even the series and head straight to the decisive Game 7.

Ignore any analysis and just focus on staying with the Celtics until the end.

Don't give up Celtics fans as you have no choice but to do so. Smiley
For sure they do, the next game will be at TD Garden and it's their homecourt, they will defend it with all their might I guess. If they wouldn't cheer them up, it's like saying that it was over, they should have their morale intact as it's not over yet. The ball is round.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 15, 2022, 04:01:08 PM
Would I like to see Wiggins win a Finals MVP award?  Hell yes.  Does he deserve it over Steph?  No.
And I truly agree with that. I took the bet before the start of the Finals, it's also because of the fact that betting for Curry was not profitable at that time, (I think even now). So choosing another player that may have a chance next to him is Wiggins with x29.90. It's all about the money first.  Grin
I can actually pull out my bet and claim a 1.2 profit but I think I will let it stay and see it through until the end of the series.
He had been consistent so I am having high hopes he can get it. They should win the game first.
If they win this Finals, it's for sure gonna be on Curry's hand to be awarded, he really is doing it all he got to bring their team to victory. It will be a shame if this 34 yrs old guy that carry the team all the way to glory wouldn't get that title. For now, we need to see the game 6 outcome first if they can pull it off.
1843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: June 15, 2022, 01:07:33 PM
This is the best time to pick your stop loss and make it an essential part of your trade. The market keeps falling and investors and traders alike keeps crying. It seems some wild prediction of Bitcoin giving those who missed the early opportunity of buying is coming alive. To avoid been caught up and trapped  by the market volatility stop loss should be as useful as every other technical or fundamental tool you can think of. It is better to risk a small fraction of your assets than losing it all
I wouldn't recommend a margin trade during this period of time if that's the topic of using stop-loss feature here. When in bear market you'd be easily liquidated as prices tend to move faster than expected compare on what we see during bull market when there's a series of mini bear market or just higher lows.
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "It's Better to Sell Bitcoin Now and Rebuy Lower" Twitted by Peter Schiff on: June 15, 2022, 11:44:17 AM
He's a clown and he's predictions are much like similar of us, it wouldn't be perfect or it may have had just a coincidence at all. You may wonder this tweet of him, saying Bitcoin wouldn't hit 50k, and, yes he's wrong on that and as much as the scenario may possible, I can say sarcasm on that tweet of him just recently or even the past opinions of him.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 14, 2022, 04:11:28 PM
It's looks like a career that instead of being payed, you can actually make millions or even billions if you wanted to. Are they more  like the philanthropist in gambling world? How come they want to get paid for thousand of dollars, yet they can get more than that if they do it by themselves so they don't work for someone else. I'm quite intrigued about this career, or just probably a hoax and may rely on speculations too.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 14, 2022, 03:24:33 PM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?
If mostly the coins being held on his gambling accounts or wallets is not in stablecoins, for sure it will have some significant impact. Most online casino sites these days tend to follow the usd valuation compare to the the actual value of the hold tokens on an individual accounts. I don't care too much in it, it's more like another opportunity in me.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 14, 2022, 01:34:15 PM
I didn't believe the drop below 25k would happen this month and it literally happened overnight. I guess now I will believe those analysts who said it would drop to 20k or even lower. Right now bitcoin is below 24k and it looks terrible. There will definitely be no crypto market recovery in June.
Because everything is possible when the market is in panic, it will broke any TA out there. We've seen 22k and if it doesn't hold then I guess opportunity waits us at 15k or much higher than that, that's my prediction and probably a buy zone. It's early to tell for the recovery unless the whole global market turns green too.

15000$ would still be little, if it drops below 20,000$ we will see 8000$ or more below 8000$
$8000 is a total capitulation just what we saw in 2018 I guess, not gonna wait on that but it's a possibility when there are no strong support. By the way, the 200 weekly EMA was respected already and might be good relief rally after that but it will be possible to test the 300 weekly EMA since historically it hits on 2018 and the 2020 COVID crash.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Pros and Cons of Bitcoin Gambling on: June 14, 2022, 12:18:46 PM
Not to mention, Bitcoin being used on gambling sites is one of the many reasons that it flourished to what it is now. Of course there will be pros and cons on using bitcoin or other crypto on gambling sites, but I say it's on the individual to weigh that if it's convenient for them on using it or not. For me, I say it's more convenient but I try to limit it especially if it concerns my privacy.
Exactly, the adaption of bitcoin and other crypto being used as the main currency for gambling is one of the great thing why crypto is flourishing and prospering. Actually, other than security and anonymity of the users, there is no main pros for crypto gambling website differ in just a regular online casino. Anyways, the convenience it provides to us in the crypto industry to directly use our crypto to gamble is already to good for me.
When we interact and put our money inside an online gambling casino, that definitely already less secured and has less anonymity compared to when it was just on your wallet. I say the pros in it are just it's convenient for us to use directly and no need for middlemen just for us to be able to play in a casino.
Soo much convenience i would say if we do tend to compare it into those traditional aspect or ways on how we would able to play without any hardship
in speaking with anonymity and decentralized.Yes, there are some part which are totally some cons but not really that much or more worst when dealing with a fiat casino.
The only con's i would say is in attaching yourself with the addiction on playing gambling and i dont see any issues about putting yourself known
that you've been doing gambling. Its none of their business on how you would be spending up your funds.

There are always pros and cons, in both traditional and online crypto gambling.
And it depends on how you look at these 2, and how it will work to your advantage.
Because at the end of the day, the funds that you will spend is up to you.
But on my end, I found crypto gambling as a very convenient place for me to handle my gambling activities.
So the pros and cons of bitcoin gambling as compared to traditional fiat casinos depend on the gambler himself.
Some will stick to fiat or traditional, because they are more comfy with it as they are used to this set-up.
But for most here in the forum, I believe, a lot are having their betting via online crypto casinos now.
I tend to agree on that considering this is a crypto focused forum and most gamblers here would definitely on that. We don't know if there are users in this forum that are more comfortable on traditional gambling if they do, but I definitely won't agree if they are using crypto already in years yet prefers the traditional, just my opinion. Crypto was more convenient I say, you can even lay in bed while gambling or do other chores if you area multitasker.

1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to buy Star Atlas on Metamask ? on: June 12, 2022, 01:14:26 AM
The Star Atlas Wormhole is also known as ATLAS... there's where the confusion started. PancakeSwap did not have ATLAS listed, so I tried to add it manually, but it seems I added the Star Atlas wormhole instead !
To make matters worse, I traded 0.8 BNB for 3537 ATLAS ( wormhole tokens ), which means I spent about $250 worth of BNB and got $25 worth of ATLAS tokens back ! Yikes !
When I wanted to know WTF happen here guess what I got ? PANCAKESWAP OFFERS NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT !! Great
So I had to talk to my buddies at Exodus and they explained to me the Price Impact was set to 85% because it's a low liquidity token, so in theory, I ended up paying 85% more than the market value, however ! I think you would agree I ended up paying nearly 10 times more !!!
And you wonder why DeFi hasn't gone mainstream yet ! Can you imagine how would the average person react when they learn they lost $250 on a stupid purchase just because of a technicality ?
Please, don't take the fault on the dApp, you should have read everything else not just because you want to get FOMO by the token. You should have research more so that you may come up with the best possible outcome when you are buying. If the coin/token you wanted to buy is available on reference tracking websites like coinmarketcap and Coingecko they usually put there the different contracts if the coin/token is available on other chains.

Yes, shit happens but in reality the fault would still be on us individuals if we don't take any responsibilities over our own money. You may disagree with me but I always do more research over my investments especially when I am trying to buy the token on DEXs.
1853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: June 11, 2022, 09:24:32 PM
Because you aren't buying  Grin
Grin

Actually, people are pathetic. They say it's high right now don't buy it but when it's already decreased by more than 50% they still got the lines but they wouldn't buy because it will nosedive at its finest. When will others get learn in this market?

Exactly, this isn't the time to optimize your buys.
Once this sucker goes 100k+ you want to be onboard and that extra 10-20% will be irrelevant.

Most of these suckers will wake up one day after Bitcoin shoots up 20k and they will be waiting for it to come down again which it won't.
This bear market will surely wipeout these paper hands and it will be just quick I guess. I think we're nearing on that capitulation level and this will be epic for them that they'll just wonder and asked "why?". Still having the thoughts that it will shoot up one day to $100k and that's I firmly believe. DCA'ing to my buy zones as always and saving my sats.

Nakadepende parin yan sa galing mo sa TA at kung Isa lang day trader talagang napakagandang estratihiya ito dahil it doesn't need deeper technical knowledge. Better na maliit lang margin mo if hindi ka naman risky trader or start at low margin then if magaling ka na mas maigi na doon ka na mag start to increase step by step.
1856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Self before asset on: June 11, 2022, 01:29:00 AM
Investment is a game of knowledge the less you know the less the pay the more you know the more the pay. When it comes to what comes first in crypto investment i tell my friends it is knowledge,When good foundation and well structured knowledge meets the market structure and trends losses are reduced to the minimal. Good knowledge attracts investors and once trust is established it grows into a mega establishment. The trend is no respecter of any analyst or speculator. Get the skill and save the bill

In the hierarchy of investment assets comes second. Because if an investor refuse to pay to learn, They have no choice but to pay to the trend. If you are not learning to earn, you will learn to learn.
"The more you know, the more the pay"is probably not easy to get especially when learning. It will take time, it will take losses when it comes to investment, it will take sometimes your health and lot of things you need to sacrifice. I'd say your health comes first before anything else, if you won't have a healthy body the rest will follow to decrease.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rakeback and promotions for limited time on: June 10, 2022, 09:50:20 PM
Do you take advantage of these features or do you think they don't worth? Do you have any strategies to play and increase your profit through rakeback or do you just ignore it? By your experience, have rakeback ever been profitable for you?

Any personal experiences you can share are appreciated!
I probably don't think much about it tbh since I only wagered few and the cashback is low too. I do like to spend it on dice in which I set the multiplier to low and then have my bet to 10-50% of entire portfolio just in 1 bet, that's the way to get the most from rakeback feature, though it's totally risky considering in one bet you'd be lost a lot from your current balance/portfolio.
1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 30% of billionaires directly or indirectly invest in cryptocurrencies on: June 10, 2022, 09:25:08 PM
Should be expected that some billionaires are speculators too and that they don't know what's gonna happen in the future. Some are still uncertain but having said that, 1% is too great of an investment already if they have billions of dollars net worths. I believe they have financial advisors and they can take the risks more than we do.

Gambling on smart watches was really news to me, I haven't tried it but it's totally obvious on what setting it is. I guess virtual reality games has the scope in it involving NFT or the Metaverse, it's more of the hot trend not by now but on the coming years too.

If I understand correctly, then gambling on a smartwatchs is no different from gambling on smartphones or a computer? If yes, then I do not quite understand what the new trend is here.
It's more like Ben10 gambling with his watch, 😂 LOL. Yes it's the same like gambling on our phone and it's not like a trend, smart watch could be a trend but with the advancement of having a browser on a watch to gamble was likely dope. I think gambling on smart watch with a holographic theme would be more fun and excited to do, maybe in the future.
