1981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 11, 2022, 12:28:17 PM
^^ Just a matter of time before the Heat find a way to stop Joel Embiid in their series.
And now they have dominated the Sixers and won huge with Jimmy Butler leading again. All of the Heat players scored in this game specially in the clean up minutes. Now up to 3-2, I seeing that the Heat are going to close this series next game. But it will not be like this, it will be close I reckon.
Looks like Embiid won't get there at NBA Finals once again if they miss this and Heat dominate on them. They need a team effort too for this to be extended and if there are internal disputes between players I think they need to abolish that first.

The round 4 match of GSW and Grizzlies will be tomorrow I think the GSW will going to end it and won't let the Memphis get another win against them. My parlay against Heat and Suns was really good as they both win the game today, do you think my bet for GSW tomorrow will be a good call? I am not that fan of basketball but I am a fan of GSW.
I think it's the 5th round not 4th. With Ja Morant's absence I guess that will be the case for the Memphis or for the Warriors to dominate and wait for the Western Conference Finals. I guess you got a good instinct there even if it's the Grizzlies home.
1982  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Bet: A wider Array of Altcoins are being usef on: May 11, 2022, 09:46:41 AM
It has been reported that the online gambling industry has shown more people are starting to use crypto to gamble online forgoing Fiat. And that there is a greater interest in betting with Altcoins.
Over the past two years, gamblers using crypto online instead of Fiat has significantly increased. The study comes from softswiss, which provides software for managing iGaming operations. The organization holds several gaming license and was the first company in the world to offer a Bitcoin optimized casino solution.
Softswiss said the share of crypto in Q1 2022, increased by almost 10%: from 26.3% to 35.9%. In comparison to the first quarter in 2020,the share of crypto currencies has grown by 29%. If such dynamic continue, the share of Fiat and crypto currencies may become equal over the course of the next year,as Fiat currently is the most popular choice for online betting,64% of people use Fiat.
https://beincrypto.com/crypto-bets-a-wider-array-of-altcoins-are-being-used/
People tend to embrace new things and using crypto to gamble online is a trend right now and people are noticing how convenient it was too. If I were to pick which one is best, I think online betting or gambling is best when playing online especially if you're just into luck based gambling. The pandemic help this industry to even expand.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who’s itching to buy? on: May 10, 2022, 04:02:40 PM
You know DCA but it's clear that your intention was to promote the exchange and it seems noticeable on how you posted it. Prove me wrong but that exchange is news to my ear and sorry if I give you the benefit of the doubt here. I'd say don't go with alts even if they are at top 100, go with those alts that has 11 figures of market cap, they're more better than the others you see at top 100, you'd be blind by just the low prices or how did they fall at a faster rate.
I don't understand how to prove this, and also could you explain how the difference in one value in capitalization plays role?
Well, the more liquid the asset the less it is to be affected by a series of decrease especially if we're in bear or volatile time in the space. You see, Bitcoin has the huge market cap among the rest and if you take a look at most altcoins when the market experience a decline, less market cap tokens tend to nosedive more compare to Bitcoin or other alts out there that has huge market cap.

1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 07, 2022, 04:11:29 PM
I am not a resident of the Philippines, but I have read a lot about the country and the mores of the local population. And in my opinion cockfighting cannot be eradicated from their traditional entertainment. Even if the government bans online cockfighting, it will move to the back of the neighborhoods where the authorities simply can't get into. In my opinion, it's a battle against windmills.
You got it right, it's more than a tradition I say. A lot of people here in the Philippines fond of having cockfighting roosters in their backyards, even at a young age you can see the fondness of it. Neighborhood cockfights, "tupada", derby tournament, you name it, they love these kind of stuffs. Not to get far, even my father is on that list though he regularly do it anymore unlike before.
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 07, 2022, 12:22:26 PM
I am looking to try out a bounty campaign using signature but I don't see anyone worth my time right now, I do have a question about this, does it make more sense to promote projects that are already trading over those that are not listed on exchange yet? I see so many that aren't listed like whsiperMSG, Valore, Elysian Finance, they don't look like they will be hitting an exchange any time soon.

What and what makes you promote a project?.
I'd see the tokens that are not on exchanges yet but worth attention to do the works. It's for your own choice to know those projects if you want to hop in them, do your own research (DYOR) as they say. If the project is already listed yet pays well then better to get it for safety purposes of what you are working.
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA _ Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks - 2nd round on: May 07, 2022, 09:14:34 AM
Congrats to Dallas Mavericks, Finally Brunson showed up and bring his A game in the game.
Big win by the Dallas Mavericks, they bounce back strong and has dominated the Suns to get their 1st win in the series.

It was a low scoring game and I like the kind of defense Dallas used in this game.

Good balance for Suns but Mavs had a decent shooting percentage, especially for Brunson who scored 28 points in the game.
Well, it's their homecourt and I guess it's expected. They need to tie the series at their homecourt as well, they need to do what the Phoenix did when they defended their home. I think that's the scenario I am expecting here and if by chance I bet later on, I bet it for the Dallas to win. Looks like another star in the making.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: May 06, 2022, 09:45:19 PM
Almost every week there are one or two new casinos launching here, this section is already a big number of casinos there are good and bad new casinos here, these new casinos know that for them to stay in the game and be competitive they have offer new things and bonuses and giveaways.

Are you still supporting new casinos even if you're already playing in so many casinos do you still have room for new casino to deposit and play?

As a gambler, i don't mind exploring more and more casinos that will definitely get my interest. But of course, i never try playing without checking its reviews first, researching if its legit or not. As long as it makes me think that it will be another great spot, i usually start playing with minimal amount. If i lose, that's fine as i got to experience its new and exciting games and enjoy some bonuses and giveaways that are usually given to those first customers to play.
Of course we do but it should be on our taste if we wanted to try it or for exploration purposes. If it's advertised by a well known user that will get me more interest too but out of curiosity as well I research more in it and not just basing because it was advertised. New casinos are prone to more risks than those who established their reputations in the industry.
1989  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks offering Cycling? on: May 06, 2022, 03:37:31 PM
To OP please check https://www.betcoin.ag/sports as they have bicycle gambling in their sportsbook. I think that's the only crypto gambling site that has bicycle gambling unless I didn't research more so if anyone has another one then share it here. I'd avoid 1xbit tbh.
1990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 19,400 BTC on: May 06, 2022, 01:05:31 PM
during the period from 2012 to 2016 I went through a difficult period in my life and I forgot that I had bought bitcoin it was since the year 2021 that I remembered everything and I do my better to recover my bitcoins

Don't judge a person without knowing their story first.
If this claim is true (of course this is from our perspective and not yours) then how you'd be so sure if the one who bought your laptop is still living or the laptop itself is still usable? Too hard to move on if you're hoping but if the buyer isn't anymore as well in this forum who recovered that wallet.dat file on his own then your chance of getting it is slim. Price of Bitcoin has gone parabolic and I doubt if the buyer will return it on you again, 90% chance you won't get it.
1991  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: May 06, 2022, 10:21:46 AM

1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 06, 2022, 07:38:04 AM
- Do hink that your respective government will do the same even though that gambling is a big contributor to the government's revenue? It's a big sacrifice but no choice since lots of people got wrecked here and there are still unsolved cases of missing people.

- Is it really valid that we should blame the online cockfighting here that's why most people wrecked their lives?

For me, it shouldn't be stopped but should be more regulated strictly. I know there's a thing that can balance this but I don't know the specific term of it. Because of these irresponsible gamblers, the government's revenue got affected which should be a big help now that our country is just slowly rising after years of dealing with the pandemic.
If the President do care for his people then he'd do the best possible course of action to stop it. There are other source where the government can get taxes from and I think it won't rely heavily on one source.

Well, you could blame it on the gambling too considering it has effects to other people's live. You can blame it on the gambling but on the other hand you can blame it on the individual too.
1993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2022? on: May 05, 2022, 09:55:48 PM
Which price of a Litecoin is possible in 2022? What do you expect as alltime-high and price in end of 2022?
Litecoin has not experienced a significant price movement in recent times, as well as this year I think there is no significant movement in the price of Litecoin and keep abreast of Bitcoin price developments, if BTC growth is good, LTC will also follow suit.
So do most old altcoins and not just Litecoin. We haven't got any massive run for majority of altcoins and I think that's expected considering Bitcoin is getting squeeze from the 30k area. There are developments that has been shared across the community for Bitcoin but as you can see it hasn't have that much significant impact.
1994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Potential to Drop in the $32k Area on: May 05, 2022, 01:55:11 PM
$32k-$30k is still a possibility since that's where the current higher low from the 2021 bull run and I think it's still a good catch. By the way, the image you shared doesn't tell much and can't be called an analysis since it's just the present chart. I think it should have been nice to read the analysis of yours OP, besides not all traders rely on shorter timeframe.
Yes, and we should always think that it is possible, $30k-$32k might look very bad though for some of us. But as you have said, it will be a good catch because the price will be very cheap as it is 50% of the last all time high price.

But we will have to wait and see then, prices of crypto has somewhat been on the rise in the last 48 hours and seems to be getting into the $40k again.
It's more than 50% from the last all time high and it's more than a good catch from a sideways movements market. The DXY chart doesn't look good I guess after reaching the 20 year high, and the Fed just ruled out a bigger rate hike and Bitcoin goes on ahead even the FOMC meeting hasn't ended yet. Not to be celebrated but I think it's a looming point for good thing to come in crypto.

1996  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA or FA which is a better choice for market speculation. on: May 05, 2022, 06:17:19 AM
Is it with: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS

From the above explanation which could you as a trader possibly go with and why?
Actually so far, I am not really good at TA, just little bit to understand and use them by trying. But it seems like not very work for me because sometimes, my analysis is very bad honestly  Grin
That is why I prefer to use more fundamental analysis, moreover I am not a day trader, so I prefer to focus on the projects that have good and strong fundamentals to set certai target price for short term or long term holding.

But it doesn mean that FA is better than TA, I only said that FA is more suitable for me
I actually like both analysis since it has both advantage and disadvantages but it matters to the individual since we are all unique even on trading. Technical Analysis is recommended for day traders and to those who like whing trades like you and me, Fundamentals is the perfect fit for it. There's no one can tell if it's FA or TA, as I've said it could be subjective on both terms and to individuals.
Considering that not all the times the market would generate out some news or events which you could make use or treat as FA which means that you would really be ending up on using
TA's in the end of the day.It isnt really bad to have both ways for you to identify possible trends or paths on where prices could go via these indicators or analysis.
It doesnt matter which one you would use as long you could make profits then that what surely counts.
The thing is news don't come at the same day, news or events most of the time for fundamental stuffs has been shared in the past. I think the saying "buy the rumor, sell the news" is still a thing here when using FA and I definitely tend to agree in that case. TAs are definitely great but if you're a swing trader you still need FA with you and I've been used to that stuff for months now.

1998  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 04, 2022, 09:00:12 PM
Zion Williamson came out today and said he was cleared to play and could have suited up in the Pelicans last game. He said his plan was to wait until game 7 to return so he could help them get to the next round and surprise everyone. Seems like a pretty juvenile plan that didn’t work out for him. Not to mention his teammates have to be pissed off that he could have helped them in game 6, but wanted to come back in dramatic fashion to be the hero that got them to the next round. Hopefully he can stay healthy this off-season so we can see him play again. He was exciting to watch, but I don’t think his career will be a long one.
If the injuries keep coming I think it's a looming stuff for a career to end, we can't blame him for that but he should work out on it since he's still at a young age. He's likely still battling in his youth to come up with that juvenile plan, he should have pushed through if he has the sense of helping his team, not his fault I guess if the physicians who's on him tells it's not yet time, but he knows more of his body than anybody else.

Oh wow, great news for ALGO indeed! I was curious as to why the ALGO price was spiking but had not taken a gander at the news yet. But this definitely is wonderful news and I even think I might invest in ALGO and see how things go until the end of the year.

Did they mention when exactly the partnership would be decided and when we got to know more about the details of the actual implementation?

Bitcoin is definitely being supported currently, even during dippy times as now, by the ALGO news! Who knows, it might counterbalance the LUNA FUD Cheesy
The FOMO kicks in and that's the thing when there's a good news from a coin but tbh it will not last that long. If you caught on a FOMO news, it's not necessarily a bad thing but the approach is likely avoidable, it shouldn't just be the news to rely on, just a suggestion to those who might read this. The event has really significant impact not just to crypto space alone but to the sports industry as well.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warriors vs Grizzlies 2nd round discussion on: May 04, 2022, 02:09:19 PM
Though Memphis win, they still should not be complacent because they are behind in the series. Warriors did their home work and they won 1 game on the road. Now that they are back on their home court, things should be easier for them as they have the crowd and they are master of their home court.

Bad officiating has been the issue in the last 2 games, hopefully we will have a fair officiating in game 3.
Well, home court advantage is a thing but if Ja Morant will still be in his zone then I don't think that will matter, this guy was pure talent and that athleticism in him is another wonder of the world. Well, the replays will tell and if they are bad at it, fines are still on the way. Warriors is a tough team to beat and for Memphis to pull it off until they win the 2nd round would be tough as well.
