1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 16, 2022, 11:30:38 AM
^^ Really hard to digest what really happen to the Lakers last season and how it become toxic. Although it was really evident that in the beginning, something is not right as even in the pre-season with all eyes on them and high expectations there were already signs that it might not work and that what happen. And then Lebron injured himself and so is AD, Russ games didn't flourish, the supporting cast is not performing as expected etc etc. There is no single point of failure, just a culmination of bad timing and maybe bad decisions.
They don't have good supporting cast because they traded the ones that were really a big piece of the success of the Lakers. Now, they realize that they don't really need another superstar, in fact, Lebron and AD is enough because both have already won a championship together with the Lakers.
They should haven't let go of Rondo and Green with them, these two has good impact not just on the regular and playoffs season but they contribute to championship too, their experience is already there. I don't think they need Russ and Anthony on the first place, that was just a show from LeBron I guess, they don't want that championship last season.

edit: I mean haven't.

Personally yes at doing DCA.
1743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 16, 2022, 07:39:43 AM
Probably. It may keep the volatility high during that day and depending on the movement of the market. The trend will still favors on the bear this time and I wouldn't be surprised if it will not hold even before the time of its released, I'm expecting news FUD before it even begins.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 15, 2022, 05:14:26 PM
Probably just Chinese belief but if the casino owner isn't believing this and still flourishing, that needs to be explained thoroughly. Can't say for sure on those successful casinos out there but I think it wouldn't much to apply now when it comes to online, if ever Fengshui experts says it is still appeals here, I wonder.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 15, 2022, 04:09:29 PM
I think to answer the question on how they can still withstand this bear market is to read their tokenomics if there's any. I think that's is the only possible thing to do like burning or buy back strategy, if they're supported well by the community then that's the answer I can think of.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Online Gambling be Banned? on: July 15, 2022, 10:26:58 AM
It's the future of gambling, it will not be banned. Many huge institutions and companies tend to not ignore this trend and believe it or not that's where we are heading. The time when we just go to land based casinos will come to a decline, not that fast but for sure that will be the case.
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 14, 2022, 10:37:46 PM
After the global epidemic that started in 2019, there were problems not only in football but also in all sports branches. However, sports branches that appealed to the audience live, such as football, were more affected.

Even if normalization begins towards the end of last season, we are getting ready to enter a season that we can call normal.

In this process, especially for football, I think that the big teams lose more power in general. Because supporter support is one of the most important criteria. This season, we will have a more normal season and I think we can watch better matches. Of course, we may also be entering a more enjoyable period for betting.
Of course a fresh new start is too exciting to deal with but we need to understand that this new normal will be prolonged as expected. Some may be used to watch in their homes but those avid fans that are excited to see it up close will surely be excited it live on every arenas. Can't see for sure about the idea that it will flourish but I can feel it should be the case.
1748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: July 14, 2022, 03:08:17 PM
If it's the definition alone they're certainly far to be likened as one. Gambling more likely dependent on the chance but not all gambling related games aren't the same case, so do it is in trading. Trading feels like as gamble but it's only for those trader that wouldn't take much more seriousness on their trades, same as to those who just want to throw their money for gambling.
1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: July 14, 2022, 01:17:22 PM
Yes, that's correct. Many gamblers are eventually asked to do KYC by the casino but those gamblers don't want to do it for various reasons. Maybe for small gamblers, that reason is acceptable because they really don't use big money. But if it's the big gamblers who win more money, maybe the casino wants to know who they really are so the casino asks them to KYC. Moreover, if they carry out suspicious activity, the casino will be more strict in monitoring it and may ask for a complete KYC.
Not at all but for some suspicious accounts only, if you're not that of a huge gambler that deposits, withdraw or even got those huge wins that I think wouldn't arise on the casino. Sometimes they don't, other casinos tend to be harsh like freezing it and we've seen that countless times in the past, but yes they begins it by the usual strict monitoring but others tend not to.
1750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question for regular casino players. Will you use Lightning if available? on: July 14, 2022, 11:55:48 AM
I mean a regular gamble must use Lightning network if Lightning network is available on the site Which site they use regularly for gamble. I am also like Lightning network for deposit and withdrawal my assets for gambling site. Lightning network complete soo fast transcation And here the transaction fee is very low compared to the normal network.
But if I recall not at all are that techie enough on the in/out of how to use the LN, that's sometimes the hindrance to use these kind of technology especially those that are new to this. Good for you mate, it's too convenient and cheap, hoping we don't use off chain in the future and it will be on chain.
1751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Group and new investment plattform on: July 14, 2022, 09:40:50 AM
But now I want to ask you one question: Does it make sense to investigate into that thing? I mean: I found out some data behind the "frontpages" and i could (for example) make a complainment at ic3.gov (IP address of the platform terminates in US!).

Does that male sence from your side?
I don't think they'll just leave behind a trace to who or where they are, they'll surely provide fake names and addresses. It's easy to route IP these days with the use of the technology and if these scammers are that intelligent enough to know that, then the chance is too slim but if not you can just try it out.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 14, 2022, 05:21:36 AM
Well, that's a lose for Nietes there.

I think Casimero will rise more to fame but his arrogance is what he's proud of when he goes into that boxing ring. If we compare it to Nietes and Pacquiao that's totally the opposite. I think if Nietes lost this match, he'd be happily wants to retire with contention.
He should be more careful on his career now and by the way he speak. If he's aiming to be of the same greatness with these great boxers during his time, he really need to humble down and also avoid talking too much but showing more his strength during the fight. Although he's really got something to boast for.
Tough loss but still proud of what he did there in the ring, he's still a champion in our hearts as a Filipino. Ioka was just a beast and still in his prime.

I don't know if he's that careful but just can't get enough on that arrogance, historically that doesn't end well for who have done it in the past. Still love those boxers that aren't arrogant yet won't back out when they're stepping that ring, they're the respectable professionals.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 13, 2022, 09:52:53 PM
First half of the fight is over and if the trend continues, Nietes will lose this one. Ioka was too active throwing punches though no significant damage to Nietes but i think the former will get points from that on the judges. Hope Nietes will adjust and not abandon his jab.
Another loss for a Filipino boxer, its a clear statement that Ioka dominates the match and Nietes was experienced a hard time.
Very unfortunate to have back to back loss for a Filipino boxer, it looks like Nietes is already over. Its good though that Nietes was able to last until the final round, no more world champion and heart break loss for a Filipino boxer, not a good year for us.

This year has been really tough for Filipino boxers. I guess it isn't their lucky year. It was really a back to back lost which is heartbreaking. I thought Nieter would win this fight so there will be at least one Filipino to raise their flag in the boxing ring again. I hope that there will still be the hope of new winning for Filipinos in the next matches.
Not a good year, and maybe its time now to look for a younger boxer and challenge the world boxing again. Nietes still did a great job though, we saw him still fighting despite of the big lead of Ioka. Filipino boxer should not be demotivated, they should rise again. This might be the last fight of Nietes according to the rumors, but hopefully not true.

Nietes is already 40 years old he should retire he has done a lot in Philippine boxing its time for him to enjoy his retirement, this is one of the times that no Pinoy boxing world champion, but still Pinoys are great boxers and will always contention to
any weight category I'm sure many new boxers will rise, its not the end of Pinoy boxing after Pacquiao retires, right now the Philippine's big ace is none other than Casimero, I hope he takes up the challenge to put another Pinoy boxing world champion again and takes his career seriously.
I think Casimero will rise more to fame but his arrogance is what he's proud of when he goes into that boxing ring. If we compare it to Nietes and Pacquiao that's totally the opposite. I think if Nietes lost this match, he'd be happily wants to retire with contention.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 13, 2022, 12:24:45 PM
Irving and Durant both are leaving the team surely as it seems. They have both wanted their trades as soon as possible. Actually Irving was closer to be traded but the team made a decision and decided to give priority to Durant's trade. I have heard that Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are the teams Durant want to go now. As for Irving he has been likely to be traded with Westbrook. This deal would be great for Lakers but not much for Nets unfortunately.
This wouldn't be shattered up when Irving just taken that vaccine eh? I wonder on where these lads may end up, good for them or it's just another bad omen on where they landed. For the Nets getting Westbrook would be bad teaming up with Simmons? Can't say beforehand but we don't know what could they bring or what will the Nets get too with this trade.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 12, 2022, 08:21:09 PM
Suns are destroying their defensive side if they will let Ayton, actually, he is not the problem for the Suns, it's the 2 scorers, Paul and Booker who are not clutch enough during the playoffs. Maybe it's a desperate move but this move is bad IMO.
We may never know the real reason behind this release of Ayton but I don't think it's not that defensive that will be shattered but the offensive side as well. It's not that of a desperate move but likely a chance to see what could be the benefit of both parties, trades are always like that.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Threshold of Loss in Gambling on: July 12, 2022, 07:33:12 PM
My question is, can you remember a time when you reached your threshold of loss while gambling?
I think most of the times I can hit itas long as it's predetermined before you are gambling. It should have been planned in the first place on what threshold you can manage your loss, it shouldn't be just popping out of nowhere, my answer is that it's being planned or you should know how much you can gamble for a day - win or loss.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 12, 2022, 02:17:35 PM
I absolutely agree.
Gambling is also a kind of entertainment, an interactive show where the player is an active part of the unfolding of the events.

It's like participating in a show by paying an entrance ... only in some cases you can even win Wink I believe that only a part of the players see gambling from this point of view Sad
That's always my point of view when I'm starting to hit that login button on my favorite gambling platform though I must say on rare occasions this may change especially when I'm trying to recover that loss. Most of the people I guess thinks it's a way of living which is entirely wrong.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s failure to close above $1.3K on: July 12, 2022, 11:00:40 AM
And it only gets worse now,,, I actually thought ETH would not follow Bitcoin down this weekend too, specifically because of the successful testnet merge where everything really seemed to go according to plan.

The other scenario is bulls want the bears to win and pull price down below 1000 again -- dip and surge to 1300 is instant 30% gain, and very easy to happen with these levels.
Altcoins like Ethereum most of the times follow the trajectory of Bitcoin once going nosedive and historically that's the case. I think the merge this time wouldn't make any powerful impace unless it's the real one. I think it's expected to see a lot of volatility during these levels.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Grand Lotto Winner on: July 11, 2022, 02:45:15 PM
Recently someone in our country just won a whopping 401Million Pesos(7+Million dollars) from our 6/55 Grand Lotto and another Winner of 5.9Million Pesos(105k Dollars) from our 6/42 Lotto draw. I am happy for these two winners but I am a little worried since the Lotto Organizer mentioned what city they are from. I hope that the Lotto organizer never mentions their names since these people who just had a life-changing experience could be in danger if they ever revealed their names.

here's the link if you are curious about the article https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1178611
I think it's fine since it's just the location and imagine how much is the population for that area. Well, the winners would be on lie low now considering that grand win, better to claim it when the time is right and no one is talking for that. This is not the first time that location was being mentioned for lotto winners.
1760  Economy / Services / Re: Poker Courses For Sale on: July 09, 2022, 04:13:26 PM
You can try both of these boards to sell them, then move them there and good luck with that:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=234.0

I often wonder what is being sold from these poker courses but it's likely the unseen things behind every great successful poker player around the world? I just know the fundamentals to play but oftentimes poker game isn't just for that, the bluffing and other body expressions in traditional casinos are different stuff.
