Lawl.
I get home from the ball game and a few frosties to find we're back to where we were less than half a day ago and some people are acting like the roof fell in.
People are asking if the bull market is over and even Gemtwit has crawled out from under his rock to go weeeeeee.
One tiny correction and whiners are acting like Chicken Little.
It's still well over $5k for Chrissakes. Grow a set.

Hey Jimbo,
Would you go pound on the mayor's door for us? It's time for him to wake up.
Sorry, he moved away from my neighborhood. Last I heard he was in a small city a couple of hundred miles away. Hope he's OK and was able to hold on to most of his Bitcoin.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Hanging in over $5k I see... currently $5030USD/$6702CAD (Bitcionaverage).
Another leg up this week would be nice, nothing spectacular like a couple of days ago, just up a couple of hundred with a correction of a hundred or so. Rinse and repeat.
Go Bitcoin go.

“We have to understand that over the past months, we’ve had a good opportunity for OTC buyers to finally start picking up Bitcoin at these [lower] levels. And once they have enough incentive, once they have enough at stake in Bitcoin markets, once they’ve built up their long term positions, they have an incentive to trade on spot market. Meaning, to clear through the order book to start buying positions on spot market. Why would they do that? Well, it’s because they’ve got a much more substantial position that they bought OTC where they didn’t incur slippage. And now they have an incentive for price to actually have slippage to the upside, to clear through that order book, to buy some extra Bitcoin on an exchange, really across most of the major exchanges, probably around 50,000 or 60,000 Bitcoin, and from there actually increasing the value of their much larger position. And this can happen in crypto markets, whether people think it’s moral or not. I think that’s substantially what’s happening.” Bang on. Exchanges are just the tip of the iceberg.

A special good morning Bitcoinland. Seems we're holding on to last night's gains... currently $4756USD/$6336CAD (Bitcoinaverage). It may be a little early for fiddle music and rocket trains but can we at least laugh at the bears?

Well well well. Just got home to see a nice leg up, the first really proper one in a while. Almost time for fiddle tunes and moon trains? _____ warning- I'm going back down to Mexico before the end of April.

I'm surprised I got verified without specifying my GF Mrs. Palm's given name or listing her five lovely daughters.
Pretty slack. ____
Damn HM you beat me to it by typing faster.

Wow 30K on your teeth and that done in mexico (probably not mexico)
your taking some diamond teeth in there bro?
Not diamond but close... cubic zirconia. Fucking hell Jimbo, what are your teeth costing you altogether? You could have had a full set of porcelain veneer's for about £4000 at The Dental Centre -Turkey.
I'm getting the deluxe job, full Hollywood. When I got the rest of my own teeth removed over a year ago, I got extensive bone foundation work done including double sinus lifts, a dozen bone grafts and enriched platelet injections. In November I got 16 titanium implants, the maximum I could get without weakening the bone structure. In May I'll be getting solid zirconia teeth permanently installed with enhanced gum lines to compensate for receding gums over the years. This will allow for my natural bite without unnaturally longer teeth. I could have saved a lot of money with cheaper options. They quoted me about $6000CAD for the extractions, 8 implants and attached full upper and lower plates, with no bone work. The plates would require maintenance though, needing to be removed every couple of years for cleaning. I also would be risking future complications without the foundation work. I'm in my 70s and while my bones are strong for my age due to an active lifestyle, I have to be realistic. This is something I wanted for years but couldn't afford (I was quoted $55k for 4 implants and 2 plates 15 years ago) until Bitcoin rewarded me for identifying its potential and putting my money where my belief was. People asked me when I'd cash out and I told them never. I said I'd spend somewhat more than my total fiat investment to buy myself some new teeth when I became a Bitcoin millionaire. That happened in 2017. Now I'm still in my early 70s, having a teenage romance with my pretty (and sharp as a tack) 43-year old girlfriend, and living happily ever after. Thank you Bitcoin.

Good morning Bitcoinland. The battle for $4k continues.... currently $4024USD/$5404CAD (Bitcoinaverage). C'mon Bitcoin, start moving up. I need to buy $30k before the end of April to finish paying for my teeth. I hate the idea of spending a half dozen bitcoins to do that. Go Bitcoin go. _______ P.S. I know it's Dump on JJG Day but I had to merit him for his comments about Roach and BJA and bagholders. Yes, his verbosity and air of superiority can be annoying at times but I can understand where he's coming from. I can be verbose at times too. It's just that I do it with my larynx, not my keyboard. I can be condescending too. I just try to be more diplomatic about it.

An early good morning Bitcoinland. Got my tasks in Mexico almost done and flew back to Toronto for a month or so.
The price of Bitcoin seems to have followed me north (again??)... currently $4032USD/$5410CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
C'mon Bitcoin. Let's get this $4k thing done and move on. It's getting boring.

Good morning Bitcoinland. The battle for $4k continues... currently $4009USD/$5378CAD (Bitcoinaverage). How much longer before we win this fight and start properly moving up again? ____ Finally getting my work finished up. All materials have been acquired, the block and concrete electrical meter structure at the property line has been completed and the new 240V/120A 12-breaker panel installed. The electrician is busy wiring them together and I've started measuring while my buddy has started cutting material for my newly secured windows and fire escape. My new ensuite crapper is working like a charm. As usual, all my infrastructure improvements are getting completed at the 11th hour. Been here almost all winter and it's all just getting done now. Mexican time. LOL I'm booked to fly up to Toronto on Tuesday. The vernal equinox is in the books and winter is officially over. Let the baseball season begin.

Good morning Jimmy. You ever find your luggage? Have a nice day bud.
No I haven't yet. They want five days to find it. That pisses me off.

Buenos dias Tierra del Bitcoin. Back in the Maya Jungle after a horror show of a flight back down. After having my afternoon flight overbooked, I was forced to take an evening flight out of my way to Mexico City, spend the night at the airport there, fly on a different airline to Cancun a day late, and have a normal half-hour bus trip to Playa del Carmen take almost 2 hours due to a detour caused by a bus accident (same bus line!) Then I was charged double what I'd been booked for the day before, not as a missed reservation (I'd contacted the hotel as soon as my departure was delayed) but because it was now Spring Break and all rates were doubled. Gawd I hate the normals. The real zinger though was the fact that my luggage disappeared somewhere along the line. Bringing a large amount of stuff back with me was one of my justifications for flying up to the freezing cold for a week in the middle of my winter in Mexico. I'd brought all kinds of stuff not available here: professional-quality stainless steel kitchenware, bulk vacuum-sealing bags, a portable toilet (ah, the luxury of an ensuite in the jungle), bamboo fitted sheets, a new bluetooth keyboard for lounging in bed, assorted tools, security cameras, etc. Even some cash. Since the Air Canada Boeing 737 Max crash in Ethiopia a few days ago they're next to impossible to contact about the baggage checks they issued in Toronto. I don't know if my stuff is in Toronto, Mex City, or Cancun (or somewhere else for Chrisakes). The lousy $1000 they're sending me for the delayed flight doesn't come close to compensating me for all the aggravation and lost time, let alone anywhere near the value of what was in my luggage. /rant In the meantime the price of Bitcoin has edged up a little since I got back down here... currently $3999USD/$5335CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Seems the battle for $4k continues. Go Bitcoin go. _____ P.S. I don't really hate the normals. I'm just glad I'm not one of them.

Sitting in an all-night bar (how civilized) in Mex City airport waiting for my morning flight to Cancun.
Trying to cope with severe sleep deprivation, 3 hours sleep in close to 48 hours.
Had 4 Guinness at YYZ, 3 Molsons on the flight down. On my 4th Tecate now trying to stay awake. Damn I wish I had some amphetamine.
Alcohol will have to do.

#strongpaws Geeze you nailed me. Gato negro. I've always had a soft spot for black cats. My favorite kitty in Mexico is una gato negra. Sweet as sugar and an expert huntress. I get good luck from black cats, just like from the number 13. Everything in nature balances, so I figure there are so many people drawing bad luck from black cats and 13 that there's an excess of good luck to be harvested. Life is good.

Good afternoon Bitcoinland.
Sitting in a bar at YYZ killing time. They'd overbooked my flight almost 2 hours ago, so I'm waiting for a flight to Mex City in about 3 hours. Tomorrow AM (way too early... farmers' hours... 7:30 AM) I fly down to Cancun a day late. Geeze, I thought my trip north would be a few days. Now it's turned into over a week.
At least they're compensating me with a $20 dinner voucher and a check for $1000. Not bad for a $289 ticket. More than pays for my trip up and back including taxis etc.
Sometimes things can be a pain but basically life is good. ___
Meanwhile Bitcoin is still going sideways... currently $3872USD/ $5150CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
For all you superstitious folks who think I can magically control Bitcoin prices by going south and north, the price is about the same as it was a week ago when I flew up. Go figure.
