2461  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need feedback for my all in one bitcoin app on: April 11, 2019, 07:16:47 PM
You really need to have a description on what you app can really do. Based from what I am seeing your project is sort of a mix from both a wallet and a social/chatting community

with features of an exchange and advertising too.

I could see a very interesting use of this app.  I'll see what the OP does with it.  Smiley
The problem here is this app who is basically unknown all have this features and try to do everything all at once. That alone is a problem of how it will build trust and audience for the app itself. In a point of view of a skeptic person these kinds of all-in-one apps are something that wouldn't last without a proper support for itself. Looking at the screenshots given by the op you wouldn't see any content at all even their chats are like spam messages you will see in Telegram channels you couldn't even count that as real activity for the apps intended purpose.
2462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Abruptly Drops 4%, 12 Hours after Fresh 2019 High at $5,450 on: April 11, 2019, 06:34:22 PM
And still a lot of people are still panicking on a price drop like this, its like they aren't really learning at all that is why they cannot even take advantage of every movement they see. They always try to hold and think that the price will continue to go upwards. For the price drop I myself personally sees this as good news which a lot of people will be disagreeing about. A price movement like this is ideal for us hodlers who don't want to see a rush price drop for Bitcoin when a unbelievable pump starts to happen again.
2463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikileaks Bitcoin Donations Spike with Arrest of Julian Assange on: April 11, 2019, 05:49:08 PM
No matter how much money they received and how good the lawyer/s they hire it won't matter as long as the evidence is compelling enough to prove him guilty. The thing is of he is really innocent at all he wouldn't be seeking asylum in Ecuador in the first place, it only has dig his grave deeper by hiding out from the government this long. Wikileaks really took advantage of the situation here and they have received a considerable amount to help Assange.
2464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Boycott CNN - Spreading negative news and mentioning we are begging whales on: April 11, 2019, 06:31:34 AM
These fake crypto news media sites are jabbing as everytime and I think we don't need to get offended by it most of the time as its how the media works. The problem here is most of the crypto related news sites I see don't really have any quality news or at least news of their own as theybare all recycled from one another. That is why I don't make them my first source when I get news as they aren't really reliable, they can't even create their own news story and they will always connect everything pn why the market has moved that way.
2465  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need feedback for my all in one bitcoin app on: April 10, 2019, 06:41:59 PM
You really need to have a description on what you app can really do. Based from what I am seeing your project is sort of a mix from both a wallet and a social/chatting community which is really a strange mix to see since I don't know how one will benefit from another. Your social media part of the page looks like unpolish and its not clear why you need to follow or liked someone else's post, I don't even see why you have integrated your own wallet in the app because really I don't see both mixing together.
2466  Economy / Economics / Re: The market starts looking real nice in Q2, 2019 on: April 10, 2019, 05:23:03 PM
The market recovering is an inevitable thing to happen, with the gradual price increase we are seeing we can confirm that the crypto market is poised for another rally back above 10,000$. With the us having a extended bearish market which is more than a year (16 months and counting ...) a lot of people who are selling have exhausted all their position and what we have now is a market full of hodlers not wanting to short their position. This thing alone would only tell us that hodlers have positioned themselves for the upcoming rally.
2467  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-08] Bitcoin Fever Driven By Stocks 'Pessimism' As Global Debt Hits $243 on: April 10, 2019, 06:19:56 AM
Really??? They didn't have any physical proof that Wall street money is really entering the crypto market except from a quote from a guy that also has no proof about it only his statement. I hate it with this kind of shit happens when they just  try to create news everytime Bitcoin goes up or down and try to relate it as much as they cay without even trying to make sense first. The bull run was long overdue and simply there are no external factors that could have done it.
2468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to distinguish Token with Coin ? on: April 10, 2019, 03:30:14 AM
@chillandrew1511 you may want to add that "coins" is the one commonly called as "altcoins" in the market. For a lot of people they have used the word altcoin in both tokens and coins. Just by adding the other term it will clarify a lot of misunderstandings to other people about how they interchange the two words. Other than that you should add further description and putting the term "blockchain" especially in your coin section of the OP.
2469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Now you can test your trading strategies on simulated exchange and claim rewards on: April 10, 2019, 02:18:53 AM
~snip~

Great question, each user starts with 100k play dollars, users also have ability to create additional portfolios for experiments that do not participate in rewards program. In case user gets rekt we can reset account so they could start from 100k again. We do not plan to charge for this as user would simply create new account if there would be a price to get yourself back on track. However other users will see that your profile has been reset and we plan to make trades archive available in such case for extra transparency.
So to make it clear your only mode of earning is through the sponsors as well? Because I can't imagine how a site like you will be running without earning from your players? What would be the negative thing if you have reset your account a lot? Will there be any impact in your future trades?

Edit: as for rewards price, we just started out with rewards like a week ago, and already had several claims, we always try to make sure that items are fairly priced and achievable. I'm sure you can imagine the case, where bull run would cause the entire rewards store to be emptied out, so we have to account for that too and make sure that it's mildly difficult to achieve it but still doable.

Hope that answers both of your questions.
It would be better if your website has some kind of "proof" page to show that your players have been claiming and receiving the right rewards. I think it's the only fastest way for new users to believe that your rewards program is real.
2470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Now you can test your trading strategies on simulated exchange and claim rewards on: April 09, 2019, 07:41:29 PM
Questions for the OP, I have seen the reward page and definitely all prices for your in-game dollars are expensive. I am just curious what is the starting money for all the traders after registering an account? And what will happen if the trader has run out of money? Because I pretty sure your in-game currency doesn't refill by itself just by going to zero? My guess is players have the option to buy more fake dollars from you also for you to earn money in the program at the same time keep the website running.
2471  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 2 years in jail for illegally selling hundreds of thousands in Bitcoin on: April 09, 2019, 06:46:38 PM
Why are there still calls and concerns about money laundering?
You don't need to do actual money laundering just to be flagged for it. They keyword here is "procedure" and just by operating his business without any kinds of aml procedures is a violation itself, unlike most exchanges now that ask for KYC and other verification process this guy trades out to his clients with no questions ask. You may never know if his clients are doing money laundering themselves that is why he got flagged for such violation. He should even be happy that he will only have a two year sentence for what he did.
2472  Other / Meta / Re: What will happen with deceased DT members' feedback? on: April 09, 2019, 05:31:48 PM
On cases like this I think its possible for you to call the attention of theymos. On SwingFirst's case I think we can already confirm that it is in the hands of the owner himself and the only thing left is the negative trust given by Zepher. Manually removing the trust might be more challenging compared to removing Zepher's DT status so SwingFirst really need to ask theymos for assistance on this part.
2473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 09, 2019, 04:13:26 PM
I would put lebron as the greatest player of all time.  Jordan is overrated because of his 6 championships.  Lebron never played with a player as good as Scottie Pippen.  James is a better overall player than Jordan and is a much better athlete as well.
One thing a lot of fans and analysts tend to forget about seeing who is the greatest of all time is the level of competition during their era. If you look at it you will see that Jordan's era cannot be considered as competitive compared to what we have now, before you will only see a few star players and a few role players doing a good job in the league. Now you will see a lot of them doing good in the league. It has been said before and has become highly debated that dominant players in other eras might not be dominant at all if they played in this current generation.
2474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and Altcoin Prices on the Upward Trend on: April 09, 2019, 07:10:11 AM
We can confirm that the cryptocurrency market is having a bullish run but we cannot yet confirm if BTC is on an upward reversal. Yes Bitcoin's influence on the market is still there but you can see some coins being left out when other cryptocurrencies are going up because they know that only selling this worthless slow moving coins is their only way to take advantage of the bull run right now, that has been always the case in the market when they see fast movers they will immediately replace their coins for it.
2475  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: strange issue with electrum wallet on: April 08, 2019, 08:21:54 PM
I don't know the whole story is but maybe one of your wallet address's private key has been obtained by a hacker that is why only one of your wallet has been cleaned out. Where do you store you private keys are as if it is just in your desktop or on the web there is a strong chance that some hacker have obtained it. After you have confirmed that one of your wallet has been cleaned out my advice is to follow what AdolfinWolf has said and transfer out your funds to another clean wallet, its your only way of preventing anymore losses at that point.
2476  Economy / Reputation / Re: 666 merit :) on: April 08, 2019, 07:06:08 PM
Wondering if theymos will have the time to add some fun to the counts like, leet for merit and activity.
I know that the post count leet is the SMF implementation but still, just some extra joy to the fun here.

666 could be replaced with \m/ or Ψ (↜-_-↝)↘
It's possible, if theymos made an easter egg for members who have reached 1337 posts and replace it with the words "leet" then this thing for achieving a certain number of merits would be fun to watch. I remembered a lot of posts related to them having the words "leet" instead of a post count some are confuse while some knows it already and I think most of the members would be proud once they reach that level.
2477  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Beat Banks? on: April 08, 2019, 05:58:11 PM
This is laughable to be even asked again. Sending/Receiving money isn't even the main income source for this financial institutions. It's just only their way to squeeze a little more out from their clients. These big banks you are talking about are making more through the loans they give to the people, and not until that their main business is threatened I don't think that banks will fall because one of their side business is affected. We also need to consider the fact that their main business (lending money) is a lucrative business as almost anyone at the right age will have a point in their life that they will need the assistance from this banks.
2478  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I SUE A Crypto Ponzi PROMOTER? on: April 07, 2019, 07:48:38 PM
It all points out on whether you got scammed or not and looking at your OP I can tell that you have "invested" in their ponzi scheme, so if you have lose the money then you have valid points on suing someone. The tricky part here is if the one who referred you to the ponzi isn't really at all connected to the scam, he might just be an accessory or worst a victim like you just like how other ponzi schemes are. Most people getting caught from failed scams are also victims of the scam and not the real culprits of it.
2479  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ Alarming information about the crypto exchange "crex24" ★ on: April 07, 2019, 01:32:05 PM
It's either they are part of the scam or too dumb to do a screening of ICOs before listing it into their exchange. That is why its hard to trust a new kind of exchange without any good reputation you cannot really trust them with your money. These kinds of careless act is what will make a user never go back and use your service again. It won't matter that ypu have change as in their minds you have broken their trust by believing in you.
2480  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: No need to look for Exchanges anymore. on: April 07, 2019, 12:13:16 PM
I don't think that this is still an updated guide since they have not talk about any KYC procedures. Everything looks automatic and the only thing you need to do is to compare which offer is the best for you when the truth is those exchanges now require KYC especially ShapeShift.io because I remembered them announcing last year that they have been required to ask KYC in their service. So trezor's service might only be good when you are comparing prices but it miggt still redirect you to these exchanges' websites in order to completely finish the transaction.
