1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 21, 2020, 06:09:40 PM
It's the first time I am hearing this exchange and they are probably not that good especially when their withdrawal fee is that high, they are almost charging you around 9$ just to make a withdrawal from them and I call that a robbery even if you are trading thousands of dollars or more with their platform. Comparing them to Binance which they currently have 0.0005BTC as a withdrawal fee for Bitcoin their prices are really high which is double compared to Binance. Really the only way on how you will mitigate this is to trade with a large capital big enough that it can justify the withdrawal fee. Also hodling it inside an exchange isn't advisable or an option if you are just avoiding the withdrawal fee, you'll just be risking your money if you continue to hold it their.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 20, 2020, 09:23:12 PM
Lets just talk about how McGregor got TKOed by Mayweather, and it all has something to do with endurance and stamina. McGregor is used to fight up to five rounds which is the maximum for UFC he also finished earlier when he knocks out the opponent or he gets knock out by them. McGregor isn't built to fight in a boxing ring that last up to 12 rounds. That's why when you see their previous fight you'll see that McGregor can keep up with Mayweather during the early rounds yet when the rounds go over round 5 you will see that he is fatigue and only trying to block Mayweather's punches. This is where Pacquiao has the advantage in the ring even though he is 41 years old he still has a stamina of a prime 26 or 27 years old and I know he can outlast McGregor in the ring even if you give McGregor the power and KO ability Pacquiao still has the speed and endurance to outbox him.
1463  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ICO Listing on: January 20, 2020, 06:02:14 PM
You probably want to change your name before you become more popular with your service since you will most likely have a trademark issue because of it. You literally change only one letter to HitBTC and I don't think they will like the idea that they are sharing someone else in the market with a very similar name. Before your crypto exchange hit the stride I would strongly recommend you on changing it before lawsuits are even filed against you, since this might be your early downfall if you continue to do so. Besides "HotBTC" if you are seeing the comments now is their first impression is that your exchange is a rip off to HitBTC so do you see the general feedback of the people?
1464  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I have a good domain name, but looking for an idea or partner... on: January 19, 2020, 07:00:52 PM
Is a good domain name what you can only offer to them? If that so I don't think devs and other people would come lining up on what you are offering since there is no one stopping them on creating and thinking their own domain name. You must also provide something else besides that as obviously you must need funds and other skills to begin a project as big as an exchanges. You must also have basic knowledge on starting your own company to make them legally operating. I've just given you a wide scope on what is up ahead and maybe what you need to do right now is to have a plan on how to do it, have some ideas on what you want first as you can't be two or more clueless people inside of your team.
1465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Cryptocurrency Trading Profits on: January 19, 2020, 04:05:29 PM
The only acceptable thing that the article posted is about setting up automatic alerts on price movements. But the article isn't really fit to beginners even the mid-level traders. When we talk about leverage and derivatives trading most traders we have in the market doesn't even know what that is and it is really risky for them to follow this kind of suggestion especially when they don't even dive in what those are all about. Aside from that why even suggest leverage trading in the first place if they aren't even profiting from normal trading? If they go ahead they'll just be risking their money more so maybe the right way for what the traders should do is to be successful in normal trading first before they even open up onto other kinds of crypto trading.
1466  Economy / Services / Re: Bitsler Signature & Avatar Campaign (Closing Friday) on: January 17, 2020, 05:17:03 PM
Thank you Sir Baryom and Yahoo for a wonderful campaign. I've been in this campaign for almost 3 years and all of the time it has been a smooth sailing with you guys. It has been a pleasure on wearing Bitsler's signature and promoting it here in the forum.
1467  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: eToro Plans to Launch Its Own Debit Card in 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 09:49:25 PM
I have seen eToro on several ads on social media platforms but I never took them serious thinking its just one of those platforms that spring forth with huge publicity only to gain more then disappear into thin air.

I had the same feeling, but I have seen their adds before I got involved in Bitcoin back in early 2013. It was like; are you a pro trader? Can you beat the market? Sign up now and get x$$ bonus.

One of the most memorable Youtube ads they have and maybe the most popular one is with Kristian Nairin, the actor of Hodor from the Game of Thrones, where he did his famous line "Hodor" and just translated it to "HODL". Just like you I haven't taken eToro seriously since eToro and IQoptions are always alternating ads in every website I am seeing that's why it gave me an impression that they are just competitors on the same market. With eToro being a big name in the crypto industry I think them having a debit card would only make the competition more competitive in terms of their services especially their fees which I think will be good for us traders and consumers.
1468  Economy / Economics / Re: The Cypherpunks and the road to Bitcoin on: January 16, 2020, 08:56:16 PM
A cypherpunk is any activist advocating widespread use of strong cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies as a route to social and political change.

So does this mean any supporters of Bitcoin may it be a hodler or a miner can be counted as a cypherpunk? Or are we just considered beneficiaries of it if we don't do any kind of action to promote Bitcoin in social or political way? Yeah the names of your list has done a lot of things for cryptography and they pave way for us people to benefit from it but without us we couldn't say that they will have success if we didn't believe in what they are doing in the first place especially the early adopters of Bitcoin where they are basically trust a project who has zero value from the start. Maybe showing support for Bitcoin can be counted as being an activist of cryptography.
1469  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-16] Chainalysis traced $2.8 billion crime bitcoin sent to Binance Huobi on: January 16, 2020, 07:13:53 PM
Yes, they quoted themselves. And yes, they've definitely gone in over their own heads in the past, according to this whistleblower who said about mixers (which you might say exchanges partially do):
"Things like that destroy the need for our/their software. It can make the software completely irrelevant.”

They're shameless, but then, when they've got big contracts with big states, hey, you gotta be shameless.

I think that I'm getting your point. A forensic crypto tech company using other tactics to try and destroy mixers and exchanges because even their software cannot track what they are doing. It's like them admitting that their software is useless and what they will do next is have a black propaganda against these services who have proven to do more good rather than evil. The sad thing about this is since they are tied up to the government I can consider them as an untouchable and also a threat to these kinds of services, they can also feed false information to the government to have a favorable law for them.
1470  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-01-16] Chainalysis traced $2.8 billion crime bitcoin sent to Binance Huobi on: January 16, 2020, 05:42:16 PM
Did they just quoted themselves on their own news article? I know this came from their website but with how sloppy they are making the report it makes them look like unworthy of making them as a reliable source. If indeed these tainted coins are being transported in and out of Huobi and Binance I think that big of an amount and how the authorities can now catch up with them will show us if what they are saying is really true. Both exchanges are always in a crackdown or under the givernment's microscope so I wouldn't think that if they are laundering money it will be that high.
1471  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like cats? Here you can do something good! on: January 16, 2020, 04:40:19 PM
Since this organization is only covered in Spain I think you'll get a better response on posting this on a local board since you are basically trying tooffer ithis in a general marketplace area. If you posted this in a local board I think you'll have some of your citizens to be interested in adopting some of their rescued cats. Also you need to be realistic here when it comes to who you are pronoting this organization since this isn't a global org.
1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Craig Wright's Court Battle - Bitcoin on: January 16, 2020, 01:49:20 PM
~snip~

I am following the progress of this news because I am only interested if Wright can really produce those keys to unlock that billion dollar worth of bitcoin? Does he really have those addresses that contain those huge number of bitcoin?

And I don't think this situation has something to do with bitcoin rise, it is more on the price manipulation of BSV.

If you'll be following there nees I wouldn't give too much time into diving into detail on every news article I see as they will all just say the same thing and they won't really give you in extra details anout the news. Also what do you expect on monitoring Wright's situation? The fwo possible outcomes that could happen is either Wright will be a billionaire or is a phony trying to fool the industry the former is something we need to get ready for the latter is surely something that have just waste our time.
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Craig Wright's Court Battle - Bitcoin on: January 15, 2020, 08:48:27 PM
Nothing is really known for sure but if Craig Wright will receive that amount of Bitcoin I think there will be a certain amount of FUD in the market since we don't know what Craig Wright will do with that amount on whether or not he will keep it and that is for sure to happen since this is the mainstream crypto media we are talking about and it could be misinterpreted by a lot of people in the internet. So Bitcoin might be pumping right now but when we get a lot of clearer news then we might be in a lot of uncertainty in the market in the future.
1474  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Amadeusbank.com - Ponzi scheme on: January 15, 2020, 06:57:48 PM

It sickens me to see HYIP sites like this one tries to feed on your dreams of a good life in the future. Its a one thing that they create a fake business but a fake plan to provide better living for your family? They are like desperate criminals who wants to fool you in any way that they can give you a better life. We all know that even the best futures or derivatives in the market cannot give you a fixed payment on a fixed period so they are really trying to fool persons who are clueless about this.
1475  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be a victim of second scam. on: January 15, 2020, 05:40:49 PM
The bottom line is simply these kinds of "fund recovery" services feed on your fear and desperation. What Coolcryptovator is right where they will give you false promises as these is what makes you convince yourself that you need their help to recover your funds but the truth is they are just here to steal your money sometimes it is on multiple occasions as they will ask and ask for more giving you updates and developments that are not even real but they are just saying for you to keep paying.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2020, 03:14:28 PM

• Begovic (Bournemouth) to AC Milan done deal. (source)

• Kjaer (Sevilla) to AC Milan done deal. (source)

• Roma keen on Suso (AC Milan) and Politano (Inter). (source)

All romours looks good. But I am not sure Kjaer is enough for Milan. He has good history but his age may not allow this level football in Seria A.

I've read an article on a review from one of their management and they are saying that they are offloading a lot of players for them team to clear some salary in the next moves they will do. Since this January they have transferred out four of their players two from selling and two for loaning with an option to buy which they cleared at least 10 million euros in salaries. With them offering their other players like Suso, Piatek, and Paqueta I think that they are clearing a lot of salary space to make some other moves.
1477  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Decentralized Law - How Do We Get There? on: January 15, 2020, 02:19:54 PM
Is arbitration really the way to go in settling disputes in the crypto industry? If we are talking about small cases then I think three parties can do it but if we are talking about big civil and criminal cases then I think  we need the judicial system to handle it for us. Settling disputes is something being already done now in our world and with the crypto industry I don't think it will work well. For on most cases we have are either from scams or stolen crypto both of which cannot be solved without seeking any help from the government. Think about a decentralized law helping us, do you think it would be any better on our part?

Moreover, it is important to remember what arbitration can and cannot do. An arbitration court can only decide on issues within the scope of the agreement between the parties involved. It therefore cannot replace criminal law (or family, tax, nationality law, for that matter). What I propose is to decentralize those areas of law in which private parties are currently free to interact. And to gradually expand the scope, of course... Smiley

We still talking about a regular court proceeding here. If we are talking about the "scope of a contract" that kind of situations can still be heard and tried in a civil court since it is related to obligations and contracts. Comparing it to a arbitration court and a civil court I think you will still have a more neutral and fair side if it is coming from the domestic laws you have as a basis for their disputes on the contract. I wouldn't still see arbitration as a good fit in this industry especially with unique situation we have.

1479  Other / Meta / Re: [mod & admin appreciation] the lack of censorship on this forum is amazing! on: January 14, 2020, 06:50:58 PM
I'm not on any social media website's side but I think the reason why they have a very strict censorship is becauae like you said they are “mainstream” and being mainstream also catches the attention of the authorities and they have to control what goes published in their website. BCT is also popular but to the extent within the crypto industry and it is their advantage that they can have a little bit more when it comes to freedom of speech. Aside from that comparing BCT on other forums I have been with I can say that the rules we have are more easier to follow compared to others.
1480  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tens of Fake accounts promoting scam (Bumping) on: January 14, 2020, 04:50:55 PM
Are thery aware that posting and creating fake conversation doesn't work anymore if you want to bump a thread? Or are they just faking it out for the project to think that what they are doing is really working? Well I don't feel bad for the project either as what they are doing is already illegal, they are just wasting there money on a really bad conversation that isn't even working for then. I just hope that this posts can give awareness to people who will attempt on availing their services.
