2481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 22, 2019, 10:30:37 PM
Quite sorry for your friend, but this is the case for most new traders, they go into trading with full force hoping to make huge profits in a rush, without setting stop loss, also with little knowledge acquired they think they are good to go. No capital management.
The good thing is after the loss, they become more experienced and careful.

Greediness is the enemy of most traders. They thought they can get rich fast especially in crypto because of its volatility. However, someone needs to have knowledge and skill in crypto trading as most of them don't rely on TAs. Most of them are relying on coin's background, the capability of the team and many others that TAs are not in major play.
2482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The End of Crypto Signal Groups on: September 22, 2019, 10:13:39 PM
You are right, signal groups are currently dying a slow death. Finally.

Anyways, I skimmed through your article. You should rather tag it as an advertisement, the headline is only covered in a few self-repeating paragraphs, the way larger part of the article deals with the benefits of social trading platforms like yours. Social trading is just another way of luring people who should definitely not trade into trading with false promises in my opinion.

Crypto Signal Groups are already dies out as there is no signals which can be given in the current market. The altcoin market is almost dead. However i do think that once we will have a bull run again, then again we will see lot of signals groups coming up and demanding small fee for their so called premier signals.  Cheesy
It is better to learn trading yourself, rather than giving these scam trading signals group money to get fake signals.
Trading signals are getting worse by the time that scammers fall into it. They use this tool to fool some traders especially those lazy ones.
Cause in the first place we know that signal trading isn't effective anymore nor they are the reliable source for trading but rather to be a cause of our losses since we can't predict the market flows. But some of the traders what to make their trading life so easy and use this one, and end up for nothing.

Most of the trading signal groups are created for their own benefit and not really to help the traders especially the small ones. I have been in signal groups before and to be honest, i have not gained anything from them. Or maybe, I was in the wrong group. But anyway, if they are really doing good for everyone, they will not die. But as we can see, they are proliferated by scammers and cheaters and so they are about to be vanished very soon.
2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm the victim of a fraudulent activity on: September 22, 2019, 10:03:28 PM
I believe that Op has been frauded somehow. This is the reason some people don't do favour on line but in OP's issue, he probably was engrossed

If you have no slightest idea who you are dealing with, better not to pursue the transaction whatever he is promising to you to that you will get afterwards. Nowadays, it is very hard to trust somebody you don't know that will ask a small favor. High likelihood that it might ended up a fraud. A lesson learned by the OP. So he should be more vigilant next time.

No doubt Windice is having a lot of success! The winning rate for many players is very high, I wonder how they do it. The good thing is that there are always incentives, in fact, the tap is very dynamic, I usually spend a lot of time playing, so I had interaction with the faucet, keep up the good work!

Surprisingly, this dice site is doing great amidst the competition. The number of bets are growing tremendously. And from the last time I visited their site, there are a lot of improvements already. They have the crash game in addition to the dice. Sorry for being late here.  Tongue

2485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: September 22, 2019, 08:54:32 PM
In my opinion, Tether is safe at huge jumps in bitcoin, it is convenient for trading, but it remains to be an ordinary cryptocurrency, that is, it is not safe.

I believe, we still have hesitations towards USDT because it is owned by one group that their existence is dependent on them. Whatever problem they might encounter within their team, might affect the continuous presence of it in the market. Though it is a stable coin, is it really backed by the same number of US$s?

https://beincrypto.com/tether-co-founder-it-doesnt-really-matter-if-usdt-backed-by-equal-amount-of-dollars/

The whole crux of the Tether controversy rests on the fact that the leading stablecoin likely is not backed by what it claims to have in reserves. With the Tether Treasury minting more USDT on a semi-consistent basis, it may feel like a lot of USDT is just some hot air based on ‘trust.’ However, in a shocking admission by the co-founder of Tether, that may just be all there is to it.

As Lisa Abramowicz of Bloomberg Radio reports, William Quigley, both the CEO of WAX and the Co-founder of Tether, believes that having the exact amount of USD reserves to back USDT is not that important. In fact, what is important is that investors believe it is worth $1.
Made it a bit larger for those that cant read clearly.

This is the reason why I am doubting that they don't have the amount of USD to back this stable coin. But what they marketed before was that USDT is backed by fiat USD. They are still deceiving the crypto community. It might be the reason of their fall later on.
2486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: September 21, 2019, 11:31:03 PM
In my opinion at this time most of the ICO rating sites are nothing but some fake promotion. So if the project is good I don't care its in a ICO rating site or not. There is one or 2 sites which is good. I always prefer project with great ideas. But sometimes ICO ratingbsites are useful. And I also use some ICO rating sites cause its easy to find technical status of the project. That's it.

And to note that most of these ICO rating sites are paid ones. So the ratings might be biased in favor of their client, right? I have seen projects with high ratings but I personally know the people managing that project and I can say, they are crap. And from that, I surmise that not all high ranking ico projects are really good.
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: DREAMR - The First Platform For Dream Manifestation on: September 21, 2019, 10:00:54 PM
Its interesting. Lets assume we post our dreams in the social network developed by dreamr. Then what happens? What is the benefit for me as a user? I am yet to look into the whitepaper.

Its not just any dream. Its your dream about any new project ideas which could be beneficial for others. In that way, funds will be arranged through peers who likes that idea.

The realization of your dream is still hard as many people will just ignore your post. Very rare will gonna achieve their dreams. Just my opinion though. But if this platform can implement and deliver, why not? It might give people a brand new hope to keep on living on this earth.
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🤑[ANN]1MILLION TOKEN[1MT] - WE CAN GIVE LIFE ✅ 30% TOTAL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY on: September 20, 2019, 11:09:31 PM

No buy orders in btc pair. So what is the chance that after you give the 30% of your total supply, dumping will occur? What are your plans that will maintain the life of your coin? Though I never heard this exchange but seems there is trading movement unlike other new exchanges.
2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many crypto exchanges are really required? on: September 20, 2019, 10:14:02 PM
In my own opinion, we don't need more, to be frank am tired of registering with many exchanges. Talking about new exchanges, the upcoming ones, what new things are they offering? The features they are bringing to this space how is it different from the ones we are used to? Many have came up with various ideas on how they will beat most exchanges but are now worthless. However, if it's in the case of decentralized exchanges, then we need it; we need DEX which can be fast, user-friendly etc so it can challenge most centralized exchanges.

I already stopped registering to new exchanges a long time ago. I only have account to exchanges that I really need to use like if the tokens that I need to sell can be found only in specific exchanges. Because most exchanges are requiring to complete KYC requirements, you don't know which of them are operating legit or not. And you'll never know where your private data will end up with with all these requirements from them. Better stick to known legit exchanges.
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoTribunal - a movement that will bring trust back into the crypto scene. on: September 20, 2019, 09:39:07 PM
If you haven’t got your LAW yet, don’t worry - we will distribute your LAW tonight. However, keep in mind that the next distribution will be on Monday. Only those who have completed all the steps will get their LAW coins.

I am wishing that you can deliver your mission here. And not talk only about distribution, listing, or any of that sort. Because a project like this is badly needed in this community but if you will turn out to be another wannabe. Then, more users will not trust any of the recent projects trying to be something but can't live up to their mission.
2491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to stop taking high risks? on: September 19, 2019, 11:42:34 PM
Who doesnt?
We all seek for that large profit for an early retirement and to enjoy life just resting and then spending time with the family.
The words said it all. It is a high risk. Why still do it if you can make choices better than that?
If somehow you could make profitt without going way far then do it.
Learn to control your greed and then maybe you can save itt until you are pleased.
Maybe think of it as far way as being a gambling game.

High risk investment have tremendous impact, either you will gain or lose in this game. Only 2 directions you are heading from this. But the outcome will tell you where your life is going to. You can always stop taking high risk investments because you can decide whenever you want to because it is your money. Choose a coin that is more stable in the market, that you have idea where they are after couple of days or so in trading.
2492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple surge. The rest of altcoins also rally and leave bitcoin? on: September 18, 2019, 10:27:26 PM
Let's be honest here, XRP always made a sudden move without using any pattern. Did you remember a few months ago when we got a huge dump but XRP got a good pump?
even though it made a nice gain, it does not mean it will take a lead. For the long term, everything is decided by Bitcoin no doubt about that.
it is just they have a special condition that could move the price since they're holding quite a lot of coins in their pocket.
Developers have a lot of opportunities to manipulate the price, we have already seen this many times before.

Observation that is very true and applicable to a lot of altcoins. I don't see anything special for XRP to continue increasing its price in the market. Developers of this coin might be behind this market movement and if in case they are not, ask yourself - what would be the major reason why it will continue to soar? Are there more users of this coin? Where can you use XRP aside from trading? Can you pay XRP in a coffee shop? Just few questions that you might want to think about.
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 17, 2019, 10:57:48 PM
The poll is total nonsense. Make one that's comprehensible.
Methinks it is meant as a joke.  And of course I had to vote "other" since the question is about the dominant currency of the crypto market, and the US dollar doesn't qualify, even if it's represented with a crap-ass shittoken such as Tether.

It's bitcoin, baby.  Bitcoin.  That's the only answer to the poll.  ETH might come in as a close second, but bitcoin is always going to be king--unless something better comes along and the devout bitcoin community disintegrates.  Neither thing is likely to happen, however.

And to make it more confusing, you don't have Bitcoin listed in your poll.
Yah it's a crap poll, no question.

Please consider USD as the dominating currency of our globe.
I wouldn't argue against that, but USD isn't a cryptocurrency and comparing bitcoin to USD is a case of apples and oranges.  Everytime I think of the two together, the only thing I can think of is that the US government is in the process of cranking out money as fast as they can, whereas no one can do this with bitcoin.  That's one of the amazing things about bitcoin IMO.

More than likely, the OP meant USDT on this poll not the USD. But in any case, bitcoin should be included in the options. The poll is quite useless. And I don't think bitcoin will be beaten by eth or USDT in the future. At the moment, no one can compete with the scope of bitcoin's popularity. Even ordinary individuals, when you ask if they know crypto, they will first think of bitcoin and nothing else.
2494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: September 17, 2019, 10:32:11 PM
Way too clever on making some millions on a short fight. Exhibition match with Pacquiao? - that's some sort of smart-ass decision and as being said there would be no reputation would be on stake here but at the same time both fighters would earn some easy money.
Definitely a smart move from him. High offer which a fight that wouldn't move any of his record of zero loss although it can make him a lot of money after the fight. I'm sure that there's still hype between the two fighters and they can't waste the opportunity of making that much. As long as there are people who would love to watch and fly to Japan immediately once the match has been settled.

But in regards into the situation we cant still able to enjoy the fight since everything would really be just like a show-off or warm-up.  Grin
Fans still would enjoy the fight and mostly Floydie.

I hope Mayweather will not run away around the ring because it is only an exhibition match. No need to count on punches or anything but just fight toe-to-toe. Anyway, there will be no belt at stake so he should not worry if he loses this one.
2495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is 1st then? Other Alts? on: September 17, 2019, 09:01:30 PM
You can check coinmarketcap for the correct statistic information and for finding the dominance value per altcoin. Altcoins are only dominant less than 30% in the crypto market, checking the altcoin index will let you calculate exact dominance value. The current ranking system is not 100%  right, the fake volume generated by the trading bots is also added to the coinmarketcap values. If you have a diversified portfolio, you can list your favorite altcoins which have higher ranking too.

Yes, no need to guess here. Head to cmc page and he will get data and information that he needs. Though there are data like the fake volume that you mentioned, yet, you can use that as a general basis of what you want. And if you are really serious in investing to a particular altcoin, then, you can study more the trading behavior and other development updates for that specific coin.
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I want to start a business in gambling, which country do I choose? on: September 16, 2019, 11:44:48 PM
so in my view the Curacao license it is just so that people feel more confident when using these gambling sites, something like HYIP/Ponzi sites when they say that have a UK license.

But I may be wrong in my thinking
AFAIK, UK is the best country for HYIP companies
Malta is the best country for the legality of cryptocurrency exchange
Cyprus is the best country for brokers (forex, stocks, commodities, and others)
Curacao is the best country for gambling licenses

CMIIW

Most crypto operators get a Curaco license. It's pretty much meaningless and I believe you pretty much just have to pay money to get it, but it does show that Curaco is pretty friendly towards crypto websites or at least does not consider them as illegal. A lot of the larger crypto gambling sites also run unlicensed.

I'd recommend talking to a lawyer before starting a gambling business as they should know a lot more than people on this forum.
AFAIK, Bustadice has obtained a Curacao Gaming License.

Just to show that you have the legal operations to operate gambling business, at least get a Curacao license. It is like a minimum legality that you can acquire to say you are a credible online casino site.
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk about the opportunities we missed in those years? on: September 15, 2019, 10:59:19 PM
In my practice, there were also moments when, instead of selling a crypto asset and getting thousands of dollars, I expected it to grow further, but there was no growth, and my possible thousands of dollars turned into several tens of dollars. I believe that all this is a payment for gaining some experience that will definitely help us in the future. However, it is very unfortunate that the money was not received, they would be very helpful in our lives.

Lesson that we can learn from. I have a lot of eth tokens that had that kind of trading performance. I should have sold it when it had still value in the market. And now, most of them are worth nothing. We can regret those times but we need to move forward. Else, it will bring heartache and headache to us. If we will look back and regret every time we had made a bad decision, it will not give any good disposal in our life.
2498  Economy / Economics / Re: The Bitcoin Giveaway Project on: September 15, 2019, 10:43:11 PM
What are everyone's thoughts on this? Any recommendations for a strategy or format which might be utilized in an effort to help crypto mass adoption?
maybe you can try to be a sponsor team (soccer, basketball, boxing, horse racing or cricket),
sponsoring one of the most loved sports teams is the best way to attract attention as did this Sportbet.io https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183939.0,
the community will support you greatly.

A great way to promote bitcoin adoption is via sponsoring one famous soccer team. Soccer is currently the top sport around the globe so it has a large following from the masses. If the OP can afford to do that, that would be a great way to promote crypto particularly bitcoin.
2499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ALT-TOP: Disruption in supply chain and tokenisation of agricultural goods on: September 15, 2019, 09:57:02 PM
Bounty hunters should not post here and the dev should create a separate bounty thread as this will be full of bounty details from participants. Anyway, it is good to see a project related to agriculture because even if we have seen several related projects, they are not enough to cater the agricultural sector worldwide. And we definitely want them to succeed in this endeavour. Very few can deliver the actual platform because of so many obstacles along the way. So I just wish good luck for the team!
2500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Have An Exit Plan In Playing Gamble? on: September 15, 2019, 09:26:46 PM
I believe you don't have to plan it when you're going to stop gambling. It'll just come when you realize things. If you think it's time to stop gambling, then stop. I know it's not that easy especially when you're getting addicted to it but before engaging yourself in gambling, it's better to set your limitations, for you not to get too attached to it in the very first place.

Setting limitations is a tough decision for a gambler once you are inside the game. You tend to spend more than what was planned. But going back to OP's query, I certainly do have exit plan. But that exit plan is I believe very far from happening. I don't know yet when is the time to call it quits. So right now, it is still an exit plan.  Grin

Certainly, a lot of gamblers have exit plan but the realization of that exit plan is always hazy to most of them. The main enemy is yourself in this battle.
