Man, if Tsitsi takes this somehow, it's the biggest slap in my face. Backed him for a number of tournaments, then trimmed my expectations to final appearance and even then just gave that up.

Anybody betting on Djokovic match today? Really hard to find the value bet with odds like this ao I went for a strange one. Paul to win more than 8.5 games. If he takes a set or even gets it to tie break this passes. Did not watch him at AO at all so I am unsure if he is serving good enough to pull it off, I know he has no chance if serve does not help him. I guess he must have been doing something right to get at semi final  Grin

I went for 3:1 as I thought since yesterday that was the most "Value" bet -- I know it was too much to ask for Paul to play his best (couldn't he just have won 1 more game for you haha), but I've been waiting for Djoko to do his classic "drop a set for fun" but this time around he kept to his word of saying he wants to set a statement of intent.

Nothing left to bet on except live on the next, and that's even if Djoko finally gives me a first set loss.

^ Seems like a nice setup, for me, I'm actually toying with the idea of putting Martinelli in. I know you guys are fed up with him but I'm trying to see who in the Gunners will step up now that the entire team seems to be fighting for places. I still haven't figured out if Arteta sticks to players who did well in the last game, or if he's a bit like Klopp who likes to reward players who train well.

Gonna stick with Salah for captain against Wolves -- stupid seeing how we've played them in past games, but he used to really enjoy games against them...

Any rival tips from you Trofo? Wink

FA Cup big game tonight with Arsenal taking on Manchester City.

Specials are out early here: https://sportsbet.io/sports/sportsbet-specials/matches/future and I personally think Arsenal to score + Over 3.5 corners is pretty great value at 2.70. Everything else doesn't seem good enough for me, especially the Arsenal WIN + Nketiah to score, considering ML on Arsenal is already almost 5/1.

Also, ML of $50 gets you the freebet so, yeah I'm going for that!
2524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 26, 2023, 10:55:48 PM
Sorry for you casper, honestly do. No odds below 5/1 can ever tempt me to put money on Valencia again this season, not even at home. Did wish they could rescue their season with Copa del Rey, though.

Also wish Real would have won this outright. We meet them in about 3 weeks and I would rather they start winning now, rather than keep playing crap, so they don't see us as a punching bag heh.

Seems like we could be headed for an El Clasico final huh?
2525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: January 26, 2023, 10:11:46 PM
Hands up here, this league is in my backyard but I've never really felt the need to follow, owing to the disappointment of watching matches and not getting excited.

But damn, I just realised Ajax is well below par -- and Feyenoord is riding the league!

Have they just fallen so badly since ETH left?

I normally have odds on my horizon but now I realise why I haven't seen Ajax, they must no longer be huge favourites.
2526  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 26, 2023, 05:42:07 PM
The longer we stay above $20,000 the more & more likely that the bottom is in. We hit a higher high last night at $23,8xx so it’s clear that the trend is bullish right now. It’s starting to look like that dive to $15,xxx is the bottom.
The only worry about lower lows is a black swan, something like the US confirming a recession which rips hard.

The next halving isn’t too far away now so the deeper we get into 2023 the better it looks. We can’t say for definite that we’ve seen the bottom but I think it’s more likely than not now.

That's the black swan I hope I'm wrong about, but just this niggling feeling that the world's economies are trying really hard to hide something. Back home, you can sense things falling apart and general sentiment just not good about the whole economy, so I don't know how it is in the US but they've been saying it's avoidable for a whole year now -- not sure if that hard rip will still hit. But like you say, the longer we go without hearing about it, the better the chances (and sometimes it really is down to some dude in a plush chair saying something).
2527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started instilling a bitcoin saving system on: January 26, 2023, 04:39:59 PM
Yeah, don't put everything in one basket. As bad as fiat money appears to be right now, the benefit of having a savings account in a bank is usually that your deposit is guaranteed by your government.
Generally, the case for Western countries, but I'm not sure this is the case for most of the countries in the East. Also, your savings is generally only covered by certain banks, and if you have multiple bank accounts belonging to the same group, you can potentially get caught out. So, that's worth noting if you're relying on that guarantee that the government does. It's these incentives that keep people storing money in the bank, since being your own bank definitely comes with its risk, and a certain level of knowledge to keep it safe. Not everyone, is comfortable with that.

It's the same even in emerging countries, so I know for sure South Asian and Southeast Asian, all banks that get the licence from the central bank benefit from a uniform deposit guarantee scheme. It's been tested in one or two countries already, and we've famously bailed out banks multiple times, post second world war anyway. When Japan came in the 1940s most countries here weren't independent so the scene was full or private banks and money disappeared overnight -- that was actually what led to deposit guarantees by independent governments.

Most people won't reach their deposit limits in their lifetime anyway...

But you're right, I've always thought most people aren't prepared for the responsibility that comes with owning Bitcoin -- and not knowledgeable enough to realise it.
2528  Economy / Economics / Re: A bullish case: HOW MUCH #BITCOIN to get rich and fund your lifestyle? on: January 26, 2023, 03:25:09 PM
While it's a nice big pat on the back to agree with some of those numbers (the 75k sat one really sticks out to me), that would require me to assume the majority of people on this forum are then able to live more luxuriously than upper middle class today. And I know for sure that's not true!

I get that lifestyle is vastly different in expanse and cost, depending on where you are, how old, and your education and opportunities, but we've got to be realistic. As someone pointed out above, even if you buy today and we get an ATH of 3x the last, that's barely 9 times your wealth multiplied.

And who here even has the money to go out and buy 1 BTC? At 9x, that couldn't even support my entire family living on a bare lifestyle in a small country for... a decade. That's without even owning the house or land we'll live on.
2529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin compete with CBDC's? on: January 26, 2023, 12:59:26 PM
Bitcoin was never meant to compete with anything, that's the thing I think I have never agreed with (when talking about Bitcoin displacing banks or killing PayPal or whatever).

For me, it was always an alternative. A way to pay when other ways don't work. A way to pay person to person. A way to pay when others won't let you.

These are all the three reasons I used Bitcoin, and others I know have. There wasn't an incentive. There was a reason.
2530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 25, 2023, 07:33:30 PM
While it feels like we are in the beginning stages of a bull run, it also feels like we made a pretty big move and now we’re seeing profit taking from the short term traders. No idea how long this will continue, but I think it’s pretty bullish if we hit $24K before falling back below $20K. At this point it’s a game to try and tire the leveraged longs out and build some more shorts before making the next big move.

Yeah. It was non-stop to this stage, not even pausing when we broke $20k (not to my memory anyway) and all this punching through the weeks in month 1. Makes a lot of sense that short termers would be salivating at 30% profits from December, so I wouldn't be surprised if we break that support again a couple of times before the next leg up.

There are no tired positions yet at this stage though I feel.
2531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 25, 2023, 05:44:44 PM
Not sure where to mention it but Spain just drew Italy in the Nations League semis (Cro gets to meet Netherlands). Yea, I know, glorified friendly but still something to look forward to once this season ends, not that it's going to be really that special.

In other almost unrelated news, anyone else thinks we should have some more draw drama in Copa del Rey? Or is the time for regular ML come for Barca and Sevilla?
2532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 25, 2023, 04:41:06 PM
So if my dumb theory about United possibly
Liverpool against Wolves once again, that's fun. Spurs vs City is probably the most important game of this round. I'll probably be going with a Spurs win just to try, and recoup some points in this damn tournament Tongue. Can't see them beating City though, best would likely be a draw. Chelsea, and West Ham is also a decent game, considering that both teams have been woeful as late. Probably, go with Chelsea though since they did hold out against Liverpool, and looked pretty decent with their new signings.

I was just thinking, how else could we match the dullness of the Chelsea game, and yeah, we do that by playing Wolves again. Might as well chuck in the same team that won in the FA Cup really... not sure right now if we can actually do any better until we get some boys back from the treatment table (Nunez did play a bit so maybe he returns to fitness and stops annoying us with his misses).

I feel it all comes to the lack of quality pressing. We did not give teams any time on the ball even in their own half before, nowadays teams are crossing freely from 20-30 yards out.
We aren't equipped to be defending like that, we need to be progressive in our defending and push up more.

We are really missing Jota and Diaz there, and Nunez does not press well too. He made us change how the team is set up and how it works and is what bothers me the most in all of this.

He will probably score goals - but I really dislike how the whole team's set up when he's playing. And on top of that, he is not even putting sitters away.

Yeah, again back to our energy levels. No team can go heavy metal for 60+ games a season, get half sent for a World Cup to return with nothing, and then ask to do it all over again without the personnel.

Klopp and Pep were hailed as geniuses when both teams went for a traditional striker to boost this season but yeah, while they have KdB to feed, we have not managed to convert. He'll come good eventually, he has to... but we do have to revisit the way we play football... we don't got the legs for it anymore.

What sort of a chance does Paul have? he finished last year very strong, can he at least
take a set from Djokovic?

Yeah, damned Rublev didn't even give us a set so ended up putting no money down, no idea who Tommy Paul is or how he plays to be frank but I reckon there's a slight bit of value in a 3:1 Djoko score (almost 4/1)... I know he's perfect but doesn't he like to put himself a mountain to climb?
2534  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I might be wrong about this but I need to know on: January 25, 2023, 02:52:04 PM
They've almost always been scams, even when the concept was profitable. There were even companies that tried to do it more professionally (with real-time mining stacks, revenue tracking with block rewards, share systems). Think there were even at least a couple of ICOs in 2017 trying to raise funds to do it. It all eventually collapsed, not only because of market forces, but just the fact that it was really very hard to do fairly and accurately.

Then again, I did earn some coins on Monero and others, when electricity wasn't an issue but I probably overworked my machine.
2535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I started instilling a bitcoin saving system on: January 25, 2023, 01:19:58 PM
Yeah, don't put everything in one basket. As bad as fiat money appears to be right now, the benefit of having a savings account in a bank is usually that your deposit is guaranteed by your government.

Now I'm the first to say that the promises of your government doesn't mean much when shit really hits the fan, but in general, and depending on your country, there's nothing like having some protection from worst case scenario.

Especially in the case of Bitcoin where you only can count on yourself.

Save what you can to Bitcoin, save what you know you eventually need for expenses in a savings account -- if something happens to you and you didn't prepare well enough, at least that money goes to your family.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 24, 2023, 10:11:46 PM
Rublev at 15/1 now even is tempting, if he does a miracle, no better chance to win a GS.
I don't think Rublev can win it, he just doesn't have the constant. What do you mean no better chance to win GS? He plays Djoković next which is toughest possible draw for any player in any Grand Slam. Yeah he came far, but I don't see how he can win against Djoković in best of 5 sets. He can take first set for sure and maybe second but I am expecting him to loose belief during second set already and after that it will be one way match.

The toughest, but it's as if you only need to overcome one (the biggest) hurdle tomorrow, and the route to the final gets easier. If I'm Rublev, I'm thinking I'd rather meet the final boss early, because I'll probably play at lower levels later, which won't be enough to overcome Djoko then. If I get past this stage, it's uncharted territory and I won't have the home crowd backing me, the final would be too much to overcome

So while I'm totally with you here, he's not got it in him, but if he has a chance, it's the brightest if he wins tomorrow and his chances against Djoko is at its best tomorrow.

That said, definitely, all in against him once he's 2 sets up Wink
2537  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [FULL]🔥COINSLOTTY🔥 Review Campaign – Rewards From $60 to $70🔥 on: January 24, 2023, 07:37:23 PM
Hello! I'm from Group A. Same username here as in Coinslotty. I fully intended for a complete review from Day 1 (Saturday, 20th), but problems occurred with the Bonus on my account and since a core purpose of the review was to test the Welcome Offer, I thought I'd try and wait it out. Today, however, customer support gave indication that the issue isn't expected to resolve any time soon so am writing my review anyway, and update it when my situation changes.

====

0. Welcome Offer Bonus
I wanted to get this out of the way first. Despite depositing directly from the Welcome Offer button brought up the Coinspaid menu, I didn't get a deposit bonus on my first deposit of 1.5 mbtc (approx $33 at the time). Note, no matter how or where you access the deposit window from, you get the exact same window, with no indication that you are also activating any bonus whatsoever.

There is an "Available Bonuses" heading and I also toggled on bonus options, but there was nothing to select.

After contacting Customer Support on 20th Jan, an agent created an issue and "escalated issue up to the technical department". I was asked to return to chat to ask for an update. I did this the following day on 21st Jan, and was told I would get an update via email. Today, after 84 hours, I returned to chat for an update and got this message:

"As I can see, our technical team is currently working on this issue. Unfortunately, they need a bit more time to fix it. Please, wait bit. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for understanding❤️"

I guess I won't be testing any bonuses for this review (for now!).

1. Signing Up and Login | Account Options
Signing up was smooth as can be expected, but I noticed that there was no confirmation in my email inbox -- typically, you get an email or message notifying you that someone signed up.

If it's useful to know, I used VPN on a Chromium-based browser, Windows device (ToR never works properly with casinos, as LoyceV provides further evidence for) and my initial location was Finland. The account profile recorded this, and this does not change with a different VPN.

The site also keeps me signed in (now over 96 hours) despite using a different IP and resuming activity from browser, so those cookies don't quickly expire. Convenient for me, but I note that some casinos sign you out automatically after a period, certainly that should be an option for additional security.

1.1 Responsible Gaming
I played around with account settings -- unique to me was the unique self-exclusion options. Tested it out by setting a 6-minute session limit, and that didn't work. I was still logged in well after 6 minutes. So that's a shame. It would be cool to test the Cooling Off and Self-Exclusion settings to see if advertising and gambling was truly locked out but minimum periods (1 day) aren't conducive for the review.

2. Site Navigation
No complaints. Navigation menu is as good as it gets, and you can search quite easily or categorise games by type, provider. I'm not sure I understood what "Instant win" category was, isn't everything more or less instantly settled? In fact, some games in this category don't settle instantly, as I'll bring up in the specific game review below.

Other than that, pretty easy to navigate.

3. Ease of Accessing & Understanding Information | ToS
It's not that easy to me to understand how to use the bonuses and/or promotions. While they look attractive, understanding how to use them without breaking terms is not at all straightforward.

Terms and conditions, as others have pointed out, are about as clear as mud. Don't worry, this isn't an exclusive problem for Coinslotty, it's generally one of the main reasons I don't even try out deposit bonuses. Here are some examples:

The maximum stake allowed when having an active bonus is 6 USD in BTC per game round.
- I played a $20 stake in BTC and it was allowed. Perhaps the term should say "the maximum amount counted towards bonus wagering requirements per stake is $6?"

The bonus must be wagered 50 times before the player can withdraw the winnings, unless otherwise specified. If the player requests the withdrawal before completing the wagering requirements, the bonus and winnings will be void.
- Isn't it 40x as displayed in the Bonus Offer landing page?

Please, note that each game comes with its own wagering coefficient:
- Slots and most games are listed here. But a lot of other games aren't, like dice, crash. Does this mean these games don't count at all? If so, they should be explicitly mentioned here as excluded.

The player is not allowed to use any strategies while playing with an active bonus in order to fulfil the requirements to wager the bonus.
- What? I'm not allowed to use any strategies with my bonus? What does this term even mean? I should just choose a game, and play everything there and do it 40 times and hope I come out alive with something?

4. Deposit & Withdrawal
Deposit reflects instantly, without confirmations on blockchain. I did not try withdrawals yet, want to wait to test bonus (if/when it comes).

I don't like that there is only 1 fixed deposit address, but I guess that's because of Coinspaid. I think you'll find many gamblers who use crypto prefer a fresh deposit address each time.

5. Customer Support
Can't say support wasn't polite and responsive. There was little to no waiting time to speak to an agent, and they try to be helpful. I only tested English.

I have to say, the automated questionnaire before you speak to a live agent leaves some holes. For example, I wanted to speak to someone about bets settlement in games, but options in the chat are only about:
1. Deposit/withdraw 2. Bonus info 3. Your feedback

Trust me, if people are reaching out for support, they are not interested about giving feedback Wink

6. Game Testing
I tested these games, partly because I don't think I've seen them before, but also to try and get a variety of different types of games tested.

Apart from Live Table games, it seems that slots and other types of games, regardless of provider, have a rigid wager amount structure that's non-customisable. Rather low limits ($20 max), you can add or deduct to the bet amount but it seems fixed in somewhat increasing increments. I find that a bit off-putting. Why can't I bet $200 on dice when I can easily play 1 BTC on a dice site? Wink

6.1 Hi Lo, Dice, Roulette (Bgaming, Instant win)
Tried three titles from the same provider but on different games. Very fast loading, which is great.
Bgaming has a weird settlement issue though. You must allow animations to end completely and click the screen or you won't get your winnings to your balance. Found that out with Roulette, and with Dice. With Dice, even worse, you have to click CLAIM to get your winnings. Not ideal, but I suppose that's a provider tic and not Coinslotty but players like me should get a note, I'm used to bets settling as soon as the result is achieved.

6.2 Midas Golden Touch (Thunderkick, slots), Book of Gold (Playson, slots), Always Hot Fruits (Amatic, slots)
All slots games seem to have a long loading time (about a minute) but they load much quicker if you revisit, so guess that's a cache issue.
Played 10-15 rounds of auto on all, no issue, wins instantly credited to balance. Have to admit I didn't spend time reading all the guidance as I'm not really a slots guy, it's just blind spinning for me.

6.3 Live Evolution Table Games (Roulette, Blackjack, Dream Catcher, Monopoly)
I'm very familiar with Evo live games so just wanted to see the experience here. First thing that greets you is a screen asking for your country and name. Never got this anywhere else I've played.

Evo's quality is as good here. Fast loads. Competent dealers. Smooth video feed.

@LoyceV: Try chatting to the dealers, they respond so you know it's real time!

7. Overall Impressions
7.1 What I liked most
a. Fast deposits, fast navigation, smooth experience with no bugs experienced except for bet settlement on particular game providers. As few questions as possible about KYC and verification. That's how you run a casino.

b. Ensure withdrawals are as fast and with as little hassle as deposits, and you're golden. What do we gamblers hate the most? KYC-less deposits, and then boo! KYC when you want to withdraw. If 2 BTC is your KYC trigger, honour that Wink

7.2 What I liked least
a. Generally, I like loyalty programs. Coinslotty's RCP and the Bonus Shop is a very interesting concept and appears to reward long term players, but I feel like the RCP system is overly complex, and there is no clear way to find out how much RCP I've earned (the bonus shop should show your balance), or how much in $ I need to wager to get to the next VIP level or RCP amount. Perhaps set a calculator with intended RCP and show a dollar equivalent of how much wager is needed to get there.

This is my CP balance in my profile, which doesn't show in the shop. Is that the same as my RCP? How did I get 6 CP? Why is there a different amount in my VIP level and redeemable points?

b. Game history only shows last 50 transactions. You better be prepared to provide much, much more. Especially if you're focusing on slots, which I imagine people play for thousands of spins per session.

Milan lose or draw this game tonight and I will make an early call on Napoli... they may not end up with 100 points (50 at exactly halfway now) but everyone else is dropping points for fun I suspect they can even seal the league with 85 points. Napoli really that good? Or everyone else just really that bad?

You have outdated information. This option was dropped many months ago. I don't remember exactly but it was somewhere before 2022 for sure.
It looks like you haven't been using this exchange for at least a year.

Damn, has it been that long? Looks like you're right after all, just checked. And edited my post.

I also see now they've completely revamped the site and my current (maximum) level of verification has also been brought back to the lowest level.

Times are a-changing.
