2541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: About the future of bitcoin - What are you worried about? on: October 12, 2022, 10:47:53 PM
Satoshi said that but I think that if he's still out there and looking at the success of bitcoin, he'd say that it's no longer beta software as it's become a successful project worldwide. There's no doubt from being beta software to making it into the mainstream, this is no longer a beta software.
And about the volume, it might be true but I don't want to stress it out since we're still far from 20 years of its existence. But judging by the looks of it now, we see how large it is today.
2542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 12, 2022, 09:50:54 PM
Much respect for Puppey and for both teams, VP and Team Secret, one more step away and we'll see who'll be the first to step to the main event.

If I could choose a team to win and qualified for TI without looking at their performances or whatsoever, I'll take VP though. These guys have had alot of misfortune this year due to Russia's politics. They were disqualified from some tournaments and wasnt able to earn enough DPC points, had to drop of their main players from roster due to the politic issue as well though

These guy totally play good as well and totally deserved that 1 spot to TI
Yeah, what an unfortunate situation. From being VP to Outsiders and coming back to being VP. They just lack 0.5 points to secure that DPC point slot for the TI and they fall short.
And the same goes for the LCQ and they're just one victory away to secure that slot and then they fell short. This is a very tough situation for the players when they're too close but became that far.

VP and Team Secret got two chances to get the slot. Whoever wins first tomorrow will go happily to the TI11. Chance of Team Secret getting that secured slot is very high. Even though sometimes, I'm not impressed with how things go at their early games, still, they're proving to themselves that they're determined to win as soon as they've got the momentum. They're not letting it go and that's showing how much Puppey still got that prowess and understands the game. Much respect for Puppey and for both teams, VP and Team Secret, one more step away and we'll see who'll be the first to step to the main event.

I sometimes think it's the 'Puppey effect.' Dude has this "fuck around and find out" aura in him that if you made one mistake, you have to make sure that you'll make it up in the next few minutes else something will happen very bad to you Cheesy But yeah, I think it's that this team easily recognizes what they are doing wrong and they are quick to correct it, either by slowing things down or rushing the enemy by invading their jungle and just doing their thing. Puppey is a genius when it comes to drafts and timings. They certainly have the potential to win TI but it will depend on how well they would be able to handle stress and fatigue.
Yup, that's the effect of Puppey and we know what type of captain he is. And that made the team good for having much respect for him and if it's correct, he's the remaining oldies that have attended all of the TIs out there, he's got the most attendance and participation.
2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and dump for people with small amount of money (Theory) on: October 12, 2022, 08:52:22 PM
It's hard and your money might just be stuck there if you're going to find those low-volume coins because the tendency that it may pump is very little. Why would you choose a low volume in the hope of some whales will pump it? Don't have that thinking because you're very prone to losing your money. Stick to the high-volume coins or the top ones if you want to make money. I understand that the budget is tight and it's just a small amount but, you can do any strategy that you think might work for you.
2544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Formula 1's Crypto.com Sponsor Is Falling Apart on: October 11, 2022, 06:50:09 PM
They're just being hit by the market's situation and I think that it's all well planned before they've got in into those major sponsorships where they've allocated millions in budget. But it seems that they're only focused on mainstream sports advertising and instead of having a portion of it on their own growth and development, there could be some part of it but it's too little because of what and where they've focused. Well, if I'm the CEO of it, can't do that much anymore but to get back stronger and use all of the resources to sustain each other's business ventures.
2545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money but from where on: October 11, 2022, 05:16:19 PM
But there's no guarantee to earn from airdrops because most of them are just scam hence it's not a reliable way to gain.
Yes, it is free but it's not that really guaranteed at all. You're likely ended being hopeless and wasting your time and energy on it if done these days.
And much worse, if you become a victim of those airdrops that would ask for a little amount of reasoning out that they need it for the transaction fees so that they'll happen to send those token rewards that you're eligible to.

Nowadays if you like to earn in crypto, skills and effort are necessary.
Not only in crypto but in real life and that's to have a real job and make money from it through salary and then invest it in bitcoin.
2546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2022, 03:37:24 PM
I'm going all in on Secret to win against VP in a series. Hopefully it's a Liquid/Secret finals.

2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US being too hard on crypto? on: October 11, 2022, 11:15:27 AM
Do you think crypto's ever-rising popularity will lead towards more regulation by the US? Or will things settle up a bit?
Yes. They can't handle it anymore and there's a need for them to put their hands on it and that's why they're acting as if they're the most needed regulatory body even though without them, the market and its community will thrive together.

Do you believe the US is being too hard on crypto?
I am not sure but it could be that the whole economy have been in difficult times so, they've put their eyes on crypto and have to regulate it and can't just let everyone enjoy those tax-free profits from crypto.

If not, which other country (or countries) is worst? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
The unsure ones, are China, India, etc.
2548  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 10, 2022, 10:06:53 AM
They are already regulated by the government so, there's already the implementation of KYC on most of the casinos that are registered with their enterprise.
And if there's a bigger concern like as you're saying about being hit by the regulation and government, what more they can do? Ban it? Stop the business itself?
We don't know what type of hit can happen if they have it so. Whether there will be that type of regulation in the future that's going to hit them hardly because they're a crypto casino, they'll comply to whatever the government implements.
Casinos have no other choice if the government has imposed the latest regulations for mandatory use of KYC for every user, so it's natural for users to be disappointed with those regulations but casinos have no other choice and as long as we have any issues regarding KYC then it's fine to verify the KYC if that required to comply with government regulations.
And us users, can't do anything with that but comply and just follow what set of rules they have.
Because if we like the casino where we're playing, it won't matter to us although we're aware of what possible things might happen if we send them our data and verification.
It has become a necessary thing to do these days if it's about services like this that involve money/cryptocurrencies because the government is all eyes on it.
2549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: REFLEX ACTION IN GAMBLING AND TIPS TO AVOID ITS PITFALLS. on: October 10, 2022, 08:13:29 AM
Just be a responsible gambler and all those factors will come together combined and will become a habit that you're aware of what you do. Because if you're a responsible gambler, you're making yourself aware of those pitfalls that will affect you not just temporarily but permanently if you're not careful enough. Start from being a good budget person as you gamble and don't go that much when the budget you've made lost all of it within the single day.
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy wisely not because of anybody. on: October 10, 2022, 06:49:41 AM
Always keep in mind that anyone can generate cryptocurrency coins or tokens as long as they have the funding to do so.
Even if there's no funding, a developer can create his own token as long as he can deploy that and easily do it on his own share.

Use of celebrities to mislead us.
After creating coins or tokens, their goal is to recover and double the money they invested. To do this, they use various strategies to make it appealing to people and promote it on various social media platforms, likely using celebrities.
Celebrities are sometimes used by new initiatives to draw attention by giving the impression that they invested a certain sum of money and received a return on it, but this is a lie—the celebrities actually work for the projects because he/she have been paid bfor it.
This is common for most projects, they think that they can attract more investors just because they've hired a celebrity that would Tweet or post the project that they have. But technicality, these celebrities are ignorants because usually they just advertise it without knowing if the project is legit or a scam, it's proven because it happened in the past so many times with different celebrities. But it's an increasing number for celebrities that are starting to know more about crypto and crowd funding.
2551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 09, 2022, 10:47:02 PM
When regulation takes a hit on crypto prob in few years from now what will happen to gambling projects like Roobet and others? I've discovered one gambling project claiming to be regulated but there is nothing to prove that, anyway, can regulation affects gambling projects in future that's all I seek.

2552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Support Casino Operated By The Bitcointalk Members on: October 09, 2022, 05:40:27 PM
I'm sure by now you have read about a casino review site where the admins are trusted members of Bitcointalk, which  I believe is good for the community because they have a good roadmap and we all know their capability as gambling reviewers
but what if reputable members here decided to put their own casino will you support them and will this become a conflict of interest if they are already or have promoted casinos in the present or in the past, what's your take on this?
Maybe in the future, we'll have one.
If it's just about the support, I'm sure that many will do that, especially if the people involve are reputable people in the forum. I don't see any conflict of interest in it.
But I think we've seen some of them already, they may not have the whole control of the casino but a few reputable members were involved in the business operations like being in the marketing team.
And the few that I know that owns the entire casino like stake, duelbits, bitvest, 777coin, bitsler and the others are also part of the forum and they're members.
2553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC max supply is 21million and hardcore it. Price can be ? on: October 08, 2022, 08:48:15 PM
It all comes around with the supply and demand if you're asking about the price. I've read that satoshi came up to it for some reasons and basically, that's a good idea that he had come up with. Well, he's a genius and we've got less to be mined around 2M in supply and that will end up for the next 100+ years. Currently, there's already 19.1M in circulation and who knows how many are forever gone and can no longer be recovered which adds to lessening the supply and retaining its value.
2554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 08, 2022, 12:48:16 PM
Woah, this is something new and I thought that there won't be any issue like this as it seems they have good chemistry in the team. Well, this isn't a good sign for the Warriors if one of them is acting like he's full of himself.
It's possible that they'll trade him later but with a better value since he's shown good performance during the finals. We'll see how they'll mend this ruckus that Poole has made.

And guess what, there's some rumor surfacing in the internet today that Jordan Poole allegedly said to Draymond Green that it's time to pack his things. I don't know the real reason behind their altercation but Poole should know his place and being boastful won't help his situation as that will only call another misunderstanding in the future.

Draymond Green is now facing disciplinary action and Joe Lacob is also considering a suspension to Green because of his unprofessionalism. This could be a problem to the team because they are showing some weakness and the other teams in the league will surely use that.
We're getting the sides of them, some of the news that I've read said that Poole has changed his attitude and that's why the incident happened.
But on the other side, it's said that Poole did nothing wrong and it's Draymond that's aggressive. I guess everyone will understand that Poole won't do anything bad because he's about to get a very profitable extension so, he's not in a position to compromise it.
Well, all of the news that is coming out are all speculations and we're all guessing what really happened because it's unclear. Although we've got some glimpse of it because there's the video but that's not enough to understand what's the actuality.
2555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 08, 2022, 10:48:25 AM
It's been a trending topic but it's not the most hyped news that I've seen today it's the last chance qualifiers for the TI. And that is because it will happen tomorrow.
I'm even looking at that video posted by Holyhexor about that "uncrowned king" and it should be posted today but it's not yet even uploaded or played.

We are looking forward for the LGD Paris to make a good draft and have secured with the spot and for sure I make a prediction here with the top 4 which is the LGD, OG, Team Spirit and Team Secret, puppy never been out in the international he joined from the start but still cant manage at the top 2.
I've seen that there's now the video but I haven't watched it because I first watched the games on the first day of the LCQ of TI. Speaking of Team Secret, they're the crowd favorite that shall get the 1 out of two slots for this LCQ. T1 didn't do well as they end the first day with a 1-3 score from the two games having best of 2 series. And by tomorrow, we'll see how this group stage will end as the 4 teams from two brackets being in the bottom two per bracket will be out and eliminated for the playoffs.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 08, 2022, 09:50:20 AM
We are now in a era where scam devs don't care about anonymity anymore,  now they aren't willing to hide their faces, they will come out in the open, throw you some videos on YouTube and still run away with your money, if you are a newbie you need to have the following in mind when researching projects.

1. Visible team members don't mean they are scam free.
2. A audited smart contract project can still scam you.
3. Scammers can spend a lot on their website to make it look attractive just to make you invest your money.
4. High volume on the listed exchange doesn't make a project clean from going scam.
Don't forget about their advertisers, they hire known people to give their scam projects exposure. They'll pay a lot to those advertisers and later on, the SEC will chase them for advertising a scam project.
Don't be too trustworthy with celebrities or anyone famous that advertises an unknown project, always be too curious and careful when you're hyped with marketing of projects.

It's possible that they'll trade him later but with a better value since he's shown good performance during the finals. We'll see how they'll mend this ruckus that Poole has made.
The warriors team players have a little misunderstanding but all will be sorted out. Jordan Poole who thinks he's bigger than some players, no doubt he's good on the court but he needs to be mute interms of dealing with his teammates, not getting into argument with them will ease the smooth flow of the team and a good working communication. These young players wants to gain big position in the warriors team and targeting at their earnings to top up.

The team is punishing Draymond and Draymond came out and acknowledged that he was wrong. I think the big 3 feel like these new guys are eating off their success and not giving them the respect they deserve, which is understandable. Still, with Jordan Poole negotiating an extension, this is a bad time to be making waves. I’m sure there will not be a no trade clause in that extension…
After watching the video, it seems that two are really at fault there. But without hearing whatever is Poole saying while Draymond is away from him, there could be words that have triggered him and that's why Dray went near him. The wrong thing Poole did was pushed Dray away and then he let his guard off. He should expect that aggression when he has pushed him away. The Warriors management probably are on the meetings on how they'll sanction probably both of them or if only one, it will be Draymond.
2558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let’s keep our eyes on scammers logics on: October 07, 2022, 09:05:18 PM
What about scamming the scammers? Cheesy
If you have free time to do that, then do it. But I won't do what they do because you'll also be part of them even if your victim is them.  launched their tokens.

I don't really think it will be easy to scam the scammer, as the scammer's sole goal is to make money and not lose money in any form. There is nothing like free time as it will be just a waste of time but if you can scam the scammer a d get successful with that then there is no harm in that because you outsmarted the scammer.
I've seen some posts about scamming scammers and they really got the culprit. But that won't change the fact that you're doing the same thing as him even though the victim is the scammer himself. Yeah, you have outsmarted him and you're able to take revenge not just yourself but also the other victims but if you understand the whole point of it, you're not that different anymore from him because of what you've done.

Today most of the news in the Dota 2 community is about the uncrowned king which is Ame the team LGD have a lot of struggles before reaching again at the top of the TI Champions and Ame is one of the top player who would like to attempt again the aegis of immortal even though LGD have a good draft sometimes they got outplayed with other teams and again right now we are waiting for the next attempt of their team of course the TS and OG will surely trying to make a back to back TI champion its been a long time since china got their aegis.

2560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 07, 2022, 10:13:06 AM
It is true that in every bull market, too many altcoins have been made and most of them don't last long. Because just after the bull run, most of them start to die and lose popularity. The entire market is experiencing a roller coaster so, they can't depend on those investments so most investors of it start to dump before they even do it. The devs are already on their way to dumping what they've made, this is becoming a cycle for those devs that have been on this market and getting quick profits from the newbie investors. Someday, most investors will only rely on a very few cryptocurrencies and many will stop believing these shitcoins.
