Live poker is rigged.  I get the worst beats by these donkeys.  On top of that the shuffle is not random.  How could it be?  You can see that the dealers hardly shuffle the cards enough for it to be random.  No wonder I lose when I play live.  Not only that but you can't keep track of the hands at a casino.  I tried videoing the hands I was playing with my phone but the casino said I couldn't keep doing that.  What are they trying to hide?  They know I will find out it is rigged!!!!  Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks I have my hx back.

I am still on 1.7.2 and all the servers were listed as F including the one I was on.  I chose another one but it didn't go to that server but a different one.  Now I have a list of servers that are noted F or P.  The original server I was connected to and the one I tried to change to are not on that list.  I wonder how many servers there are.

2564  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: April 22, 2013, 10:34:30 PM
version 1.7.2 is out

changes:

* Transactions that are in the same block are displayed in chronological order in the history.
* The client computes transaction priority and rejects zero-fee transactions that need a fee.
* The default fee was lowered to 200 uBTC per kb.
* Due to an internal format change, your history may be pruned when
you open your wallet for the first time after upgrading to 1.7.2. If
this is the case, please visit a full server to restore your full
history. You will only need to do that once.

This happened to me.  What do you mean by visiting a full server?  How is this done?
I am a noob.  Please and thank you.

Should I have any concerns updating to 1.7.3?
2565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoinity.org/markets - live bitcoin price charts on: April 19, 2013, 07:04:15 AM
Some updates:

  • CampBX added

CampBX is always 2 hrs behind and that 2 hrs is subtracted from the total time that is graphed.  So when 3 hrs is selected it shows only 1 hr graphed (3-1) and when 12 hrs is selected it shows 10 hrs graphed (12-2).

Am I alone in thinking krill freeroll blinds should be shorter?  Frankly, they're goddamn freerolls.  Eight minutes blinds is pretty damn close to actually playing poker, and when I'm playing a freeroll, I like a stupid shovament.
you're alone. 8 minutes is nice.

I like playing poker when I play poker.  It's fine the way it is.

The new 0.5-1 games have a 5 chip rake cap while the 1-2 game has a 4 chip rake cap and the 1-1 game used to have a 2 chip rake cap.

Before when you clicked the bet slider it increased by big blinds and now it goes up 0.01 chips.

It defaults to the blockchain.info transactions.  When I tried to connect to the Mt.Gox trades it would not connect.

http://blockchain.info/stats

Hash Rate and Electricity Consumption

Difficulty
7,672,999.92

Hash Rate
62,554.01 GH/s

Electricity Consumption *
975.84 megawatt hours

Electricity Cost
$146,376.39

That seems to be per day which makes it $53,427,382.35 per year.  Total electricity equals one large power plant.

2571  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Idea who is behind the sealswithclubs DDOS attack? on: March 27, 2013, 09:10:39 AM
there is a major Euro poker site which just started to accept deposit in BTC, do not remember domain though ...

It is ONE of the 50 or so skins on the iPoker network.  It is a relatively small poker room.  They just recently started using btc.  It would not be them.

There is also a Russian skin on the Revolution network that uses btc.  Again there is no direct competition as the markets are different but then again they are Russian.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the highly plausible scenario that it is a rival/competitor site/industry.  Casino/poker rooms see some compeition rising up, Seals is getting popular, let's shut them down for a bit.

Seems like the most likely scenario to me.  Who has the most to gain?  What would their methods be?

Govt - not a chance.  If the govt wanted you down, you'd be down.  They don't DDoS, they seize your domain.  Ask MegaUpload how the govt takes you down.

It could be kids or pranksters, but I tend to think there is some motivation here.

Do we need a BTC mafia for protection?

The only domains the US gov can seize are dot com and seals is not dot com.  All US facing gambling sites have changed their domains so what happened to Poker Stars and Full Tilt as far as domain seizures  cannot happen to them.

Either way.. with the fiasco now, the admins should be made public, so people know who to go after if they decide to steal everyone's money or something Wink

They ain't stealin your BTC.  If they did there is no way their info wouldn't be public.  You have no point.  Of course you know this.

Specifically the failure of the powers that be to provide us with a stable and usable currency. Fiat money is going the way of toilet paper.

I guess it has been doing that forever and yet you can still buy toilet paper with it.

What I love are all the sites touting silver as a great investment and then saying buy OUR silver.

Where do you get your percentages from?

Btc is useful for me because it enables me to play poker on Seals with Clubs.  Being from the US it is rare to be able to receive money from a poker site in a timely manner.  With btc it is simple and quick.  I heard about Seals with Clubs last year and tried their freeroll tournaments.  I purchased some btc last month as the price was rising thru the 20s.  I signed up here to get info when I had problems with my first transaction with bitinstant.
2577  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: February 15, 2013, 02:53:13 AM
I posted earlier about not receiving my coins from Tuesday purchase.  Since I was getting no replies the merchant I was going to send the coins to intervened on my behalf.  I received the coins today but at today's price and not Tuesdays.  I can't say for certain as the prices change rapidly but it seems that I was credited with the fees.
2578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support) on: February 13, 2013, 07:17:16 PM
Yesterday I tried my first bitcoin transaction.  I sent cash via moneygram/zipzap to my own wallet.  I received nothing and it said it failed.  I tried contacting thru Live support and all that did was notify me that I would receive a response via email.

I checked the BitInstant again today and see that I MAY have made an error in sending money directly to my wallet.  The site is not very clear for first time users.  I tried Live Chat again and again there is no Live Chat.  It sent my message along and I will (?) get a response via email.  I do not have an order number as I was not informed to save it.  Again not user friendly for first time users.

Please help, Thank you.
