Daddy are we there yet?

Shirley says hi!

After all this you depict yourself as a fairy? Gutsy!

She just wants to be brokeback mounted.

I have a rather large stuffed sheep toy that I have named Shirley.  I took Shirley out one New Year's Eve with some friends.  Now these friends proved they were true friends as they accepted my behavior.  They ask about Shirley from time to time, usually when parties are involved.

1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: General CryptoNote Community Thread on: November 22, 2014, 07:53:52 AM
--
Now if you look at this chronologically, CryptoNote was officially announced in july 2012 and the competition winner became known in october of the same year which makes us assume that CN (or whoever controls it) somehow knew the results before they were even announced. And that may be seen as clear indication of NSA involvement in CN project.

Source: http://www.cryptobang.com/2014/10/05/what-nsa-created-cryptonote-for/

Only copied text, without links or some stupid meme pix.

Obvious controversial article, but maybe good one to start discussion.

As they say hindsight is 20/20.

Was CryptoNote really officially announced in July 2012?  Is there actually something from 2012 or was the date faked like it was for bytecoin.  If the date is faked it's easy to know the results before they were announced Wink

The article also mentions bytecoin being used on the deep web which I thought has been debunked.  Again fake dates.

I'm sure others will have much more insight than I possibly can.

Keep bumping your request, till someone does.

Ha ha

They know.  That's why it's so frustrating.  Seems like a simple task.

I don't believe it's getting updated till the new DB is released soonŽ

By that time will those blocks have hit the 1k wall? If so, that's essentially 100% interest Cheesy

The block size that will hit the 1k wall at 30 days is 1623.  Anything less will not get to 1k.  This is according to the stake calculator.

Also you have to consider compounding interest.

These are merely observations.  Don't ask for advice as I have none Undecided

one thing i would like is to see the date of the mandatory upgrade added to the topic, otherwise i get confused everytime i read the thread  Huh

Yes, it has been requested many times and it has been said it would be done.  Seems like a trivial thing to do yet here we are.

I had to restart my comp and therefore my wallet.  This erased the settings for "setstakesplitthreshold" resulting in a block split I didn't want to happen.

Yes right now your preference is not stored to the wallet.dat. I will be adding this soon. If you restart your wallet, it will go back to default of 1,000 unless you set it again. I should have this ready for the next wallet version.

as a temp stop-gap, could that be set in the conf?

Nope, it doesn't have a startup switch, only rpc command, so for now it requires manual labor  Cry

Figures, that would be too easy, right?

#firstworldproblems

Hello ppl , I'm new to hyp , need some help . How do I stop the split . How do I set the limit I want? Thanks in advance . Cheers

You must have the latest release 1.0.7.2

Go to  Debug>Console and type Help>enter and a list of commands will be given and you will see "setstakesplitthreashold"

Put the minimum stake size you want after splitting after the command.  For example if you want your block size to be 1800 or more after splitting use:
setstakesplitthreashold 1800

I don't know where you get that Barry is keen not to be outdone.  He is not buying but setting up a "syndicate" like last time.

It seems most everybody in his syndicate last time wanted to low ball and make a quick profit.  If this auction goes like the last one bidding market price will not win.  They may have learned from last time but being that the syndicate is made up of many buy orders it's not like any individual of the syndicate would have incentive to  buy over market because of slippage.

What does Seals do incase of a server problem while games are on? Incase of an MTT, does it refund the buy in amount, or does it refund the amount based on the chip stacks?
Apparently, Stars just went down ,had a server issue, and I have over 4 tournaments running and was doing well Sad

It has happened on Stars once before, and they simply provide refunds for the buy in amounts.

That's what happens before the money is reached.  Once people are in the money a formula is used for payouts.  Each site has a set procedure that you can find out by contacting them.
1797  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: November 18, 2014, 08:13:13 AM
Yes but for MTTs those other sites, including the btc sites betcoin and nitrogen, charge twice the rake of Seals.  And as already stated for btc cash games there is really only Seals.

volume is low, do the dumpers run out of steam or are they holding back so they can take down the wall at 165200? daytrading seems impossible, gains are just to small with this tight trading range. seems to me that many shorters park some xmr between 17-20 to catch possible market orders to the upside. if a big player steps in, some of them sure start to panic. MACD divergence on 4h and 6h looks promising, do we move soon or is it just me ?

please share your opinion. Kiss

I'd be surprised if 16 holds.  At some point that guy is going to pull his wall.

If he's trying to artificially hold the price up he's going to realize he'll eventually get sold thru.  If he's trying to accumulate he'll see he can get it cheaper.

Not sure how many btc RP has but my guess is he's going to lose his stomach if btc keeps falling.

I'm not brave enough to sell my XMR but I see nothing coming but a buyers market till btc turns around, inflation slows and we have a solid wallet.

My guess is it'll turn around fast and dramatically when it does.  But it may be longer than people expect

Just my 02

The last 40 btc of that wall has just been eaten Undecided
