Grid software sucked.

There were many bugs that caused it to freeze.  They would fix one and another bug would be revealed.  There weren't many games but once I played at the same time a FR, a tourney, and 2 ring games resulting in lag.

Because they had a minimum cashout requirement that they would not wave when the were soon to close, actually they ignored the question, I am owed a small amount, about 30 cents.  Obviously not a big or any deal for me but I guess the few dollars meant something to them Huh

I double-checked with Matylda, and she agrees with my wallet.

smallest 49302

How's staking performance for everyone else?

I have also been aiming for 20 days staking as estimated in Coin Control.  Meanwhile diff is creeping up.  Nevertheless my staking seems to be happening at approximately 15 days on avg with the occasional block near 30 days and many more around 10 days.  Most of those blocks were in the 4k to 5.5k size range and I have been rolling over the stakes and not splitting blocks in anticipation of increasing diff which.

I stake 24/7 as my comp is always on and mining Monero with the CPU at 100% for many months now.  It's a low end modern Pentium chip which can handle being maxed out unlike the newer "i" series which need to operate at lower temps.

the haswell reportedly has AES-NI

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haswell_%28microarchitecture%29

can this instruction set be modified in the bios?

Yes that article is for the i3, i5 and i7.  The Pentium is a low end chip that has several things disabled.

I don't touch bios, I am the Drooling Masses ®

I guess it makes sense to try the core2 version first.  I'll try after work, yes it is Sunday.  Thanks again Smiley

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=YAM+miner

first link, goto the mega download page, and pick your CPU architecture and operating system. For instance, all my stuff is 771 xeons hacked to 775 with the sticker mod, so I use core2-linx 64.

honestly, the Yam is the first I got to work (back when I was reeaaallly new to linux), so I don't know if its even the best. It was just the easiest for me.

TY GingerAle

I have windows 64 with a new pentium chip that says it is a haswell  Grin but the haswell version didn't work as mine is non AES-NI.  I guess I need either the core2 or generic version.

Anybody have any experience with this?

guys ı have problem with this miner:claymore cpu miner
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=647251.0

i cant start it in normal mode and cant start it as admin please helpp! thanks.

screen shot of error? Or paste the error output?  I haven't used claymore  - I've used YAM because I have non aes-NI processors.

I also have a non AES-NI processor and have been using the original LucasJones miner.  How do you find the YAM miner and which version do you use?

One reason you will find a large % of 0.1 transaction fees is because that what Poloniex charges for withdrawals.

They did not change their fee when the per KB fees were instituted.  When I asked over a month ago they had no plans to change it.

All my recent transfers from my wallets cost me less than a fiat penny.

No response, so I'll ask again. What's happening with the openbazaar XMR port?

I've heard or seen anything in the last 2 weeks on here about that project.

Atrides has a private channel to inform people who contributed. I guess when there is enough to say, he will post something here.

what about anonymous contributers (which he knows there were)? Why must it be done in a private channel...? Seems odd to disappear off into private after getting the funds. What purpose does that serve?

As far as the private channel, he said up front that was how communication would happen.

The GUI wallet won't be just a CLI wallet with a GUI. I will also cater for payment processors and web wallets (source).

I believe the word I should be It and for should be to.

@Gingeropolous, it is my understanding that the devs are not trying to complete i2p before the GUI is implemented.  I am however unsure if anything needs to be completed besides the database

As far as the MyMonero server being launched to the moon, isn't that where everybody is trying to get to?

Thank you both Smiley

Let's say you have a wallet with a balance of 123.45 Monero and you want to transfer all of it.  As a fee will be deducted, how do you do this if you don't know what the fee is ahead of time?
