Thank you fluffypony.

I read the missives and immediately forgot I could use the old seed.

I am expecting this compaign will open soon for all members

Usually newbie & Junior can't join the campaign. Minimal member rank to join in (OLD PD Rule)

I'm sure PD new campaign's rule will be more strict than before.
Stunna said that the campaign will be open to Seniors, Hero and Lengendary members at first then will later open up to full member, member and jr members

But what about that strange character?  AFAIK it's not Spanish and there is no way that I know of to reproduce it.  If that's the case my seed is useless.

Are wallet names case sensitive?  I guess I could try this later.

I updated to 0.8.8.6

When starting simple wallet I was asked to chose a language for my wallet's seed.  English was the first choice so I entered 1 not noticing that 0 was for English so I got a seed in Spanish.  Whatever.  The problem is one of the words has a strange character.

The following I copy and pasted from my wallet leaving one of the regular letters for comparison.  It is composed of a vertical line the goes above and below any of the other letters.  The part that is attached looks different in simple wallet, it looks like a T that is attached to the verticle line and squashed with the top below the top of the other letters and bottom above the bottom of the other letters.

fé

Is that character supposed to be there?  It doesn't look like any Spanish I know.  How would I reproduce it?  Is there a way to get another seed for my wallet?  I would just create a new wallet bu I like the name of it.  Could I create a new wallet by changing the case of a letter(s) in the wallet name?

@presstab, I know nothing about algorithms.  You say you want to lighten the CPU load yet HYP only uses 1.5% of my CPU and 67MB RAM.  I have a newer pentium which ain't much, running windows 8.1

any one had success to get Clam in electrum wallet?
and how long coins will mature its been 16 days now my coins havent stake yet..Sad last stake 11/21/2014

You might want to view   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=612143.0

It explains a way to generate the addresses and private keys based on your master seed.  I'm not an electrum expert but it appears it wouldn't keeps them around after the funds have been moved.  You will likely have to regenerate them again.

I would personally generate a good amount and import them all.  It would likely be tought to determine where to stop.

If that makes any sense, I'm tired and about to pass out here.

Hope it helps!

thanks for the link...i read it... its too complicated....

aab intentionally slow plays the bubble of krillroll which is also against the rules.  Though, I guess aab does seals a service by creating less overlay.

Against what rules?

"A player shall not intentionally excessively stall his turn(s) in order to alter the game dynamic, especially in order to meet a deadline such as a bubble or rebuy period ending."
-taken from the FAQ page
Despite aab from probably being a bot, I have seen a lot of people do that.
It happens a lot even on stars, and I wonder how to the poker sites determine if it is intentional or just to get ITM.

Yes everybody does it and it's intentional.  People rarely say anything because they do it when in that situation.  The way to improve the situation is hand for hand which I don't believe Seals has.

I still don't understand the part about creating less overlay in an krillroll aka freeroll Huh Huh

Can somebody, please, explain me this:

Moneropool hash: 4600kH
Miners: 330
Hash per miner: ~14kH
Top GPU ~ 700H
GPUs per miner ~ 20

As I have never mined any cryptos, is it normal that an average miner owns min 20 top GPUs?
Does a miner with 4 separate rigs count as 1 or 4?

Correct if I'm somewhere wrong.

AFAIK a miner is an address.  Multiple rigs mining to one address equals one miner.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency (mandatory upgrade) on: December 06, 2014, 04:05:31 PM
ALL of the increased hashrate is from moneropool, which doubled from yesterday's rate which had been relatively constant for a while, and the catagory "unknown + minergate" whose rate goes from almost nothing to huge regularly so it's difficult to know what that means.

Hi !
About the rake : is it contributed (like on pokerstars) or all the player in the table get the same number of krill in a raked hand ?
and the krill level is monthly or cumulative ? I mean if I reach "wave 3" in the current month, do i lose this vip level if i don't rake 2500 krill the next month ?
thanks

It is not contributed it is dealt.  You don't lose krill due to inactivity, it is cumulative.

All this info, and more!, is on their website Cool
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency (mandatory upgrade) on: December 04, 2014, 11:15:02 PM
I wish there was the mandatory upgrade tag only when there was a new upgrade. Otherwise, people get used to it and dont bother to check anymore.

It was said before that the date of the upgrade would be included in the title.

I agree it is important.  It is very simple.

Days to Stake (est.) is just that, an estimate.  There is an element of chance and as weight is a factor, more weight gives you an increased chance.  Two of my blocks are ~2300 and one just staked at an age of 9.71 days which is less than a day after it was able to.  When it staked the "Days to Stake (est.)" was ~5.5 days.  A couple of days ago a block ~3237 staked in 14.55 days.  There is alot of varience.

WOW

0.0011

NOT BAD  Cheesy

Is the btc speculation thread too slow at the moment for trolling? Grin

Cyber Monday sale!!

Current price is 0.0014  I bought some below that and sold it above.

But mostly I hodl for the long term.

0.0014 is still extremely low. Moment of maximum despair?

As a moment is a very short lived thing I don't know which one you are referring to.  And not just despair but maximum despair, oh my.  I guess different people react differently to different events.

If all my Monero would vanish this moment there would be no despair even though it would be a significant event.

I speculate that the chances of Monero's success are significant.

Is it really difficult to find posts from a particular person?  LOL  Especially when the words of that person are the ones that matter?

As for "characters" I take this to mean posts under a certain length, that is a certain # of characters,(yes characters are letters but so is # so if I wrote out number instead of using # the post would have more characters and therefore be longer) would automatically be disqualified.  I can hear it now, no we don't know what the length is as the person that matters has not said or indicated what that limit might be.  We await further details.
