261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised Exchanges are the Biggest Enemies of Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 05:30:19 PM
The ideology behind crypto is freedom and liberty from the current government system(s) that are inherently wrong and elitist.

HOWEVER

Centralised exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken and Binance take a noble idea of bringing Bitcoin to the masses and mock it by affiliating with governments (and governmental agencies) that the very concept of Bitcoin is designed to rebel against.

Big CEXs are killing the original bitcoin spirit by forcing users to pay tax on gains, freezing user's assets, preventing users from using their service depending on their IP and more.

This is horrible. This is not what bitcoin is. This is not freedom. This is not liberty.

Taxes contribute to the regimes that so many of us are against. How can we continue using companies whose values don't align with ours?

Taxes are theft and fund wars and needless bloodshed in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and more.

The solution is pretty clear: More projects need to be released that are focused on building sustainable decentralised solutions to enable users to trade and purchase bitcoin (and crypto in general). Right now the main areas of focus need to be security and simple UI/UX interfaces.

And we need to stop using CEX and funding what we are all against.

I understand ehat you are trying point out but as of now, CEX are needed for adoption. Not all people want revolution, they just want to trade and earn, because exchanges offer a lot and absolutely effective to what most people want today. Look how hey work it out, offering them extra income, staling their coins just a few days and boom, they could earn. So many opportunities unlike decentralized exchange. Only a time when the people don't want to use fiat anymore, or the value of fiat is totally useless. And I think we are somehow getting nearer to that, look at your surroundings, the world is the brink of destruction. Do you think a centralized money is needed on that day? Well that's just my opinion and nothing more.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some questions about the Ripple. on: March 06, 2022, 04:59:39 PM
Hello,
Is the future of the Ripple bright? Change Ripple to the Polygon make more profit or HODL it?

Thank you.

Nobody knows the exact date when it will be going to the moon. All of the coins are like that. I use ripple in my withdrawals by the way. It is a better alternative and you can save pennies if you know what I mean. That is the best thing I love about ripple. I don't hold ripple as I convert it to cash. Whenever I cash out my btc or eth I swap it to ripple because it only needed 1 xrp for fee, and it is way too cheap than btc or eth. The only problem is if your local wallet supports ripple. I think polygon is good, as NFT are somewhat hot right now, a good hype brings you money, that is if you know when to sell of course.

263  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 06, 2022, 02:28:19 PM
What do you guys think of this development? How will this affect the players and athletes as well as workers in/for the team, how about the forth coming world cup?

I think sanctions like this are ridiculous!

FIFA's attitude, for example, to prevent games in Russian territory or to raise the flag and sing its anthem is a totally valid attitude, I'm sure the Russian players themselves are ashamed of the attitudes of their rulers.

However, forbidding these people to play, when they aren't at fault, is an exaggeration. There isn't point in penalizing them.

These people who put sanctions on Russian football players have double standards. Their such ignorant and pathetic losers. How would they feel if their players are banned too from playing, they've also done terrible things more than what Putin did. They've killed millions of people around the globe and their justification on invasion are baseless and all lies. They get away with these lies and the world is blind. Now they do this because the one aggress was one of their allies, what a hypocrite they are. I guess justice is only available to them and not to the other human in the world.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Exercise some patience for now on: March 06, 2022, 01:04:44 PM
At the end of ETH mining? I don't believe that ETH mining will ever come to an end because other smart contract projects don't have PoW algorithm only ETH has this and this is one of the reasons why ETH is big today, right now I'm sure vitalik buterin must be thinking same thing in his mind, the day ETH abandon PoW is the day ETH won't make sense anymore.

I also believe in this, that is why I am still holding my mini farm. If they go to full staking, they should've done it last December right? They've delayed the process and I think they have planned to maintain PoW in eth. Also the graphics card industry is getting a lot of money from these, Vitalik might've already getting portions of the profits, this is just my opinion though and not proven but it is possible.
265  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the world turning into?? on: March 06, 2022, 12:26:12 PM
Of late, so many things(terrible things)has been happening in the world, people dying like Mosquitoes, now everybody wants to be involved in fraudulent acts, teenagers of 17,18,19 doing ritual.... Are these all signs of end time??
God help us.

You are exaggerating, how many have died already? If you compare this time to past that happened like these, it is way more chaotic, people died here and there. Remember Spanish flue, remember the holocaust, remember the wars that have already happened way back. There are more people that have died, and it is not close enough for you to be over reacting. The only thing that makes it worst now is because it is broadcast, sympathizers here and there, putting gas to fire, making it worst even more. Dramas are created, media lies in front of you, information that are aired are misleading, making the the one who is right a culprit and the the aggressor are the ones who are being seen as a hero. If we see it clearly, books are now disregarded and history is forgotten, where knowledge is acquired from social platforms, with unknown credibility.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: War requires three things on: March 06, 2022, 07:07:46 AM
According to Napoleon, wars require just three things: "money, money and money". - this is probably not a true quote. "The sinews of war are infinite money" - this is attributed to Cicero and is probably true, " The first and most imperative necessity in war is money" - from Ida Turbel.... well I am sure you get the idea.

My question to the forum is how does Putin intend to make the war of aggression against Ukraine be eventually profitable?

They could get resources from Ukraine, all is about resources. If you see building an empire requires resources, and the world cannot give it to all countries. That is why either you have your own or get it from others, this is survival in here we are talking.
267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin-instant credit?? on: March 05, 2022, 11:59:30 PM
Almost all reputable gambling sites offer 0 confirmations for depositing Bitcoin as that mean you can start playing instantly but you have to wait for at least a few confirmations before withdrawing your money if it happens that you win big during this time.

I don't know if this the case as of now but that was the case before,I am not aware of any major change to such rule from reputable casinos.

Stake for example had this option for trusted players, the one with a history with them and not directly to any new created account,I believe the same rule is on place now but I am not sure about this.

I guess they are checking the account with big wins if they truly wins it legally or else they would investigate if it is somehow won by bugs and other mal functions of the system. Would it be fair to new users? It feels like discriminating them, not all trusted users are to be trusted, we know that because of we experience it first hand here.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects after Russia blocks Facebook, Twitter, etc.! on: March 05, 2022, 11:28:30 PM
It is the time for them to use their own social applications I guess. There are ways for them to communicate aside from Facebook and messenger. Another is there are so many programmers in Russia and they could've geeked it out. The government is doing all it can to stop people getting information about the outside world. The citizens in Russia in prone in propaganda right now, so anything like Facebook could instigate it, that is a reason to block it.
269  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 04, 2022, 10:47:37 PM
Another way to learn quickly is to observe other leading and successful casinos out there. You could learn from their style, and if you don't like something about their features or anything, you could tweak it at your own satisfaction. This way you could short the process and if you get lucky, you will also be like them. Imagine a casino surviving  this long, experienced the ups and downs on the market, and all the hindrance a long the way is a reliable mentor.
270  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: March 04, 2022, 10:13:20 PM
As you mention, there have been a lot of Vulnerabilities in the past. I have personally reported vulns is some gambling sites, the ones I remember was:

2.- Prime dice
Some years ago this casino gets an update where each time you make a withdrawal you get back 0.0001... so if the min withdraw was 0.001 then you could earn easy money with this. I depo 0.1btc to my account, then send a tip of 0.001 to a second account and withdraw it. i get 0.0001 back, then I send another 0.001 tip and now withdraw 0.0011, I get back 0.0001, and I repeat the process a lot of times. Before I finish with the starting 0.1 the site blocks my account with close to 0.03 on it. and I never recover that money. I was just getting information to report the bug, ut for them I abuse the system and they never give me my money back.

Just saying, what if the bug itself was intended for instances like these. They will create such bug and trap somebody who notices it, and by the time they put more bitcoin and withdraws it, that moment they will send you the notice of abusing the system. I am not accusing them for that but is there a chance we can counter something like this if these was positive? Just expressing my thoughts though, nothing personal and would gladly read some answers.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Family on: March 04, 2022, 09:43:35 PM
Props to them. I'm happy for them. But I don't recommend such path for other families. That kind of life is not for everybody. For one, it is definitely impossible for the majority of the world's population to live with Bitcoin only.

If one has a lot of money, whether it is in fiat or in Bitcoin, he/she could do the same. But to an ordinary Juan who has to work in order to eat, that's something he/she could only dream of.

Your are right, this kind of family is not ideal for people living in a third world country. These people that have solely rely their family on Bitcoin is in another level, they were ready to face any danger, including his kids. I would not do something like this, never in my life. I can't live in a refugee camp, I have a roof above me as for now and I would never sell this house for that kind of living, that would expose my family in danger.
I too have a dream and not by this kind of chance, gambling all my wealth on a single ride. I guess this is extra ordinary, I have a friend that lives abroad who also can be called a bitcoin family. All of the members does have bitcoin, including the kids but they never have to stay outside their home and live somewhere else. The father continues to work and at the same time engage on crypto trading. This is an ideal one, poor or in middle class. We can work our ass out for daily needs, and buy bitcoin with whatsoever is left.
272  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Marriage: Character or Beauty? on: March 03, 2022, 02:22:44 PM
For Marriage, I'd say it's a bit of both for me (Character & beauty) and other things. You wouldn't just want to marry a beautiful face without character, that marriage wil never be peaceful, and you can also not just marry Character without any form of beauty, you would like for your partner to be presentable in public as well, that is beautiful, because that is first thing everyone see's before character.

For me I'd rather choose character, beauty fades as times goes by, while character will remain as it is if you safeguard it well. I am a happy married man and even though I don't have a beautiful (in your definition) wife to brag to the public or the community, I am grateful because she has the good character. Aside from that, if I had a beautiful wife and other men staring at her would get me jealous and mad, they could be fantasizing and all stuffs unimaginable. I don't want to display her beauty and all, that sexy body and fine skin, it is a temptation to other. Also we have our own definitions of beauty, for me all is creations are beautiful, I have a religion and believed that GOD's creations are beautiful in their own way.
273  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 03, 2022, 05:53:05 AM
I normally see all Russian athletes showing their support for Ukraine, but there was an exceptional situation in chess. Top chess player Sergey Karjakin has expressed his support for Putin. Chess players are intelligent people, especially at a high level. I wonder what possesses him to write such a thing on twitter. Could play that he used to be a resident of Ukraine, he now seems to have Russian nationality. That could play into it, maybe he left the country there with a lot of fights. Otherwise you are not going to show your support for Putin for any reason.

So true, they have deeper understanding and reasoning that most common people do not understand. In my beliefs if you go against your ruler and plans to humiliate him in front of his constituents and people under his rule, giving him bad image etc, it would only worsen, your countries law and order will fall in some point. Games includes deep thinking are not to be taken lightly , they think before they move, so should we. We should think and comprehend before we make accusations and comments that we don't have sound proof, these guys have wisdoms than most of the social media influencers out there.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW coins becoming a rarity these days on: March 03, 2022, 05:12:08 AM
Have you ever wondered why most altcoins turned to PoS, while only a few good-old coins are still using classical PoW consensus? As much as people want to make money by "staking" their holdings, most cryptocurrencies are becoming less-decentralized over time. There's strong criticism on Bitcoin's high level of "energy consumption" compared to other cryptocurrencies being traded on the market today. Some say the cause of PoW being a rarity these days is because they aren't "carbon-neutral". Others say that PoW is "outdated", compared to coins using PoS which are faster and cheaper to use for day-to-day transactions.

If the number of PoS coins continues to grow, then Bitcoin will be the only decentralized cryptocurrency in the world. Should I be worried? What are your thoughts about this? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Bitcoins and other PoW is somehow strong on the ground, if we compare it to metals such as gold, it is mined and needs hard work to get. Same as Bitcoin and ether and the others, what precious is hard to get. Aside from energy issues, the chips that made to mine these coins are becoming rare also, resulting in hardware use to mine are expensive, I don't see any date that they are becoming abundant and available, once of those are GPUs in the market. If somehow they are available, they most likely tripled in price.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses Russian Ruble - now top 15 currency on: March 02, 2022, 06:29:43 PM
This is an eye opener for those people who doesn't still believe in Bitcoin's potential. It can overcome any countries currency, and stand on even times like this. The past weeks dip is now gone and Bullish is on the way. More investors are attracted and maybe could see another ATH soon this year.

277  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 02, 2022, 02:47:32 PM
I was wondering if these kind of moves is humane, even if their Leader is at Bad here it doesn't matter their common people too should suffer these kinds of punishment. Imagine this being on our shoes, what would you do? I am just expressing my ideas and I am also condemning crimes that point to humanity, not just by Russian Government but in different countries too. Is it worth the try to even do this? I mean if the earnings of these casinos are somewhat important to Russia Economy right?
278  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 02, 2022, 02:17:44 PM
What will happen if at the end Russia succeed in her conquest against Ukraine and take over the economy of Ukraine. That will extend the economic power of Russia no doubt and that will make Russia more powerful.

How will EU and NATO countries relate with Russia if that happens ?

Possible scenario is replenish the food storage, bullets, and other equipment to start invading neighboring country. They will be come powerful with the economy of Ukraine under their grasp. Striking the iron while it is hot they say. If not then they will continue to suffer with more Sanctions and find a way to elevate their economy. It is just a matter of time where their own people will make their country fall, hungry people can do anything and it includes going against it's own government.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I desperately need help deciphering characters of a lost ETH private key on: March 01, 2022, 09:08:06 PM
At the time I was sharing it with someone so blurred it out, but then lost the USB where I had the raw key saved, deciphering this mark-up is my only hope of recovering my private key, I have the first 18 characters, just need help to decipher the last 46.

Hoping you can help or anyone...

Are there some any kind of reward in solving this? If you don't mine sharing us the amount in the account there could be a possible race to solve the case. You know some people here could be interested and you could talk to them how many would they get in case they solved the problem. Or you should just simply post in Services board for faster response.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: March 01, 2022, 08:43:14 PM
To all newcomers on here pls be careful with projects that start with the name "META" because they are mostly scam projects, since metaverse have become another hot cake in crypto world today this scammers are fully ready to use this on the unknowns, open your eye and do good research before taking that risk... Meta this and mate that are the most dangerous projects today, stay safe.

They are going with the tide, using the brand image of Metaverse and it's hype at the moment. I have seen this before, so many times that I have been caught on too. It was the same name but different contract address, they are listed on a decentralized address like forkdelta and etherdelta etc. Way back 2017, new coins in eth network are non stop coming to the market and to scam people who weren't aware. Maybe the people behind these schemes are the same way back, they just lie low, change company name and the style is no different. This people are the one who should be shut down once and for all.
