261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin is a despot, but who can oust him? on: May 15, 2022, 05:11:02 PM
Once Rosguardia and the regular Russian army are reduced to 5-10% of their current size, it will be easier to see who in Russia can oust him.

It will probably take 4 years at the current destruction rate.

Be patient.

Supply arms to Ukraine, cut ALL trade with Russia, and watch the regime slowly lose control.

The biggest mistake Russia is making now is to think they can annex more territory from Ukraine.

They think they can do this as they have done it with Crimea. That is the fatal mistake that would end the Russian empire.

Once and for all.
262  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland Officially announces its intention to join NATO on: May 15, 2022, 04:03:20 PM
Well Finland and possibly Sweden better get in fast while Russia is distracted with the whole Ukraine issue. At least Ukraine didn't suffer for nothing.

Reminder:
The process of joining the US-led military bloc NATO requires the approval of the existing 30 member states. At the moment Erdogan says Turkey not supportive of Finland, Sweden joining NATO [Source: Reuters]

LOL is Turkey still bitter about not being allowed into the EU? Or there's some deal with Russia? Interesting to find out it's by consensus rather than by majority vote. Kinda like ASEAN and how China basically can veto anything that it disapprove via its proxies in the bloc.

Turkey can leave NATO anytime.

The video from the CNN report raises a lot of questions if you start to analyze it in detail.
As a result, it seems that frames from different time periods were taken and mixed with each other.

There are two versions of CNN's coverage of the event: on the CNN website and on YouTube.
For scene timing, I will use the one posted on YouTube, as there is a more convenient player, in my opinion.

Video
00:40 The shadows in the very beginning of the scene are in front of people
00:45 In the shooting scene, the shadows are already shifted to the left of the people, at a noticeable angle. But the CNN report gives the impression that only a few seconds elapsed between these two scenes.

01:18 A suspicious white civilian car with the inscription "Tank Special Forces V RUS". According to a Russian military expert: 1) the Russian Federation doesn't have such a unit; 2) none of the military would let such a transport through; 3) it is extremely dangerous to drive such vehicles in a war zone, as there is a great vulnerability to any type of small arms.

01:57 In the upper frame, a yellow car is visible standing outside the gate, but in the lower frames (supposedly filmed at the same moment), this car is not visible.

Many of the shots have the date cut off. On a few scenes the dates are visible, but they change from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Friday. The frame with the word "FRI" (Friday) is not fully visible in the Youtube footage, but it is on the CNN home site, watch the video from 2 minutes 19 seconds.

More information is in the detailed analysis of this video in English.

Also, in early May 2022, the NYPost published an article providing additional food for thought: "Biden’s new press secretary sparks conflict-of-interest concerns over relationship with CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux".

Maybe Putin does not exist because you did not see him in person. How about Australia? Or the globe? Earth is probably flat and Americans never went to the moon, lol.

Maybe Russia did not attack Ukraine. Maybe it is all fake propaganda perpetuated by gay drug addicts at the CIA?

Maybe dead Russian soldiers are just actors hired by an international cabal of Nazis.

Maybe Russian soldiers are protecting civilians from evil, global Nazisism.

Maybe there are green mice living on the moon.  You never know.

This is what actually happened:

Russia invaded Ukraine because it wanted to annex the territory of Ukraine and Russify the land by exterminating Ukrainians and any anti-
Russia elements.  Then it planned to install nuclear warheads closer to the Polish border and install air-defense systems all over Ukraine.
Russia wanted to get the farmland, resources, and full control of the Black Sea. All under the disguise of 'protecting the Russian speakers'.

BTW, Russian army have been raping, killing and torturing Ukraininan Russian speakers by truckload.
264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian-Ukrainian war of 2022- ... for the salvation of the World on: May 14, 2022, 02:56:33 PM
The Russian fascist empire needs to be destroyed militarily.

Nations that the Moscovities conquered should gain independence.

The territory we all know today as 'Russia' needs to break up into independent, democratic states.

Finland, Georgia, Chechnya, Komi, and Syberian peoples need to get their territories back.

Russian imperialism needs to end.
265  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: May 09, 2022, 01:48:13 PM
Russia, being the largest nuclear Power ahead of America, have dropped anchor in Ukraine since February, have made it a life's mission to bring down Ukraine, upsetting the mundane life activities of its citizens.
While Ukraine is older in years to Russia, the latter seems to have increased in size and economic, military might. Because of this growth, they now see Ukraine as younger and are dominating them.
America have been known as one the countries who feel the strike against Ukraine is not necessary.
Recently, during the Easter celebration in Ukraine, they were visited by both secretaries of state and defense, Anthony Blinken and Lloyd Austin. These two managed to put a little hope in the hearts of the people of Russia.
My question is, it's true that America's military might is more than Russia, can they be able to defeat Russia out of benevolence or is there something attached?? Your thoughts please. https://www.economist.com/europe/america-is-now-thinking-of-winning-the-war-in-ukraine/21808960
Yes It is true that America's military is much stronger than that of Russia, In fact, if you understand Geo-politics, America's or NATO's interference in every world Conflict is a big reason why this war is happening in the first place. But is having a stronger military enough to win the war or at least in this situation stop a war? Answer is NO, unless it's 1945 and America was the only nuclear nation this would have been possible because US would have threatened a nuclear strike which is much more devastation than Russia would ever be able to do, but it 2022, Russia has equally strong Nuclear Arsenal to US, if US threatens nuclear strike, Russia will retaliate. So answer is NO, America with it's army can surely not end this war, but Diplomacy is the only solution here, if US can pitch in some agreement among both countries then they might be able stop this war.

Diplomacy with Russia is not possible because of its kleptocratic, fascist government. No agreement signed with Russia will hold.

The only way forward for Russia is to undergo a fundamental, progressive shift to a democratic, open society.

Russia has a lot of potential, and resources, but the country has been hijacked by a small group of Soviet officials who brainwashed the vast majority of the Russian population. Alcoholism and drug abuse are rampant. Russian society is regressing, intelligent people are leaving in droves. Russia is rapidly transforming into the Soviet Union. And we all know what resulted from that social experiment.

I think this war with Ukraine will lead to the fall of the current Russian government, complete demilitarization of its nuclear arsenal, and
potentially a territorial breakup of the Far East and Caucasus regions. Think end of Cold War 2.0.

Ukraine will get all its territories back.  Not tomorrow, not next month, but eventually.
266  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 09, 2022, 12:26:21 PM
I am sure most of Putin's soldiers would rather go to the parade. Despite some spontaneous combustions all over Russia, seem far safer than getting near a 155mm howitzer.

Did someone mention Wali, the sniper: https://youtu.be/6uCLYAXuQPo?t=12 "I would be more afraid of a number of NATO soldiers than the equivalent Russian soldiers". Translation: Putin is sending Tactical Cannon Fodder to the front.

This is more or less what captured Russian soldiers were reporting. They all have 1 experienced soldier in a group per 5-10 rookies. Many of these rookies had only basic training. One group of POWs consisted of teachers whose principal told them they have to enlist for military training or get fired, so they went for 2 week training course and ended up in Ukraine.
You can see how they are running like headless chickens under fire. Artillery hits so they run towards a bunker, the artillery hits near the bunker, they all run out towards nearby bushes. Nobody knows what to do, they leave the wounded behind, get drunk. There's even a video showing them try to run in a civilian Lada car and a drone drops a grenade on their heads.
https://mobile.twitter.com/visegrad24/status/1520080492992897024
Congratulations to whoever piloted this. You sir have a superb aim.

No wonder they can't defend themselves if they're drunk or high most of the time, and when they are not they're hungry and cold.
Eating military rations and drinking vodka for a month can burn a hole in your stomach.

I think the lack of training is probably on both sides. But Russian side appears to be less experienced.

Despite all of that, Russians are making some critical advances in the Donbas, stalling and retreating in other areas.

Their strategy is 'v pieriod, blyat' ('forward bitch') no matter the consequences. Eventually, they will run out of resources.

This guy provides an objective view of the situation.

It seems alliances seen in current war were formed 2 years ago

https://peoplesdispatch.org/2020/12/21/us-ukraine-vote-against-un-resolution-against-nazism/

Orwellian resolution by a country that employs Neo-Nazi mercenaries (Wagner group) to kill innocent civilians in Africa/Syria (and now in Ukraine).

What is next? Russia's UN resolution on not invading other countries and annexing their territories?

Russian dark humor I guess. Resolution on Nazism by Russia? That is a hoot.

"We have never attacked Ukraine"
"We have never invaded Ukraine"
"War is peace"
"Peace is war"
"We don't kill them, we denazify them"
"We don't destroy their civilian infrastructure, we demilitarize them"
"We don't rob them, we protect them"
268  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: May 06, 2022, 04:45:32 AM
Your arrogant snobbery looks funny. Impress naive girls with speculative links to Wikipedia, which anyone can edit, for a man with a beard, this is an unreliable source.
Says person who quotes Russian Defence Ministry, Kadyrov telegram and other Russian пoмoйкa as reliable sources.
It seems like a couple of times I gave a link to a specific video in Kadyrov's telegram as a prooflink. Or do you seriously think that Chechens know how to deepfake when they shoot a video on the selfie camera of their smartphone?

For a long happy life until Russia will come to take another slice of Ukraine...
Russia has no problems with territories, but it does have problems with a crazy neighbor who has been cultivating hatred of Russians as his national idea for a whole generation. He will have to be punished for this, since diplomatic efforts have not been successful. Be patient, at first it will hurt, and then life will get better.

I think we will soon see how events will develop in the West of Ukraine, because until the complete liberation of Donbass this is not a paramount issue and there are many interested parties, including Poland, Romania, Hungary and even Moldova. I'm not even sure that the West of Ukraine is now subordinate to Kyiv.
And how do you imagine such thing? All these countries sharing Ukraine into parts? It would be interesting to hear from your perspective what signs shows that it can happen. Because for me it looks like nothing more than poor Russian propaganda attempt to show that Ukraine is country without history and without future.
Most fun part about Moldova. They aren't capable to solve Transistria question and here they're cming to take slice of Ukraine.
The policy of Moldova can be called pro-Romanian, up to the plans for the Moldovan-Romanian union. Moldova in the issue of Ukraine is more like a proxy for Romania, plus for it it is a chance to resolve the issue with Transnistria.

Of course, Poland has the most legally justified claims to the western part of Ukraine. In fact, Ukraine voluntarily abandoned six western regions in favor of Poland when, in 2015, it signed a joint declaration condemning the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, according to which these territories that previously belonged to Poland were transferred to Ukraine. It is a pity that you did not know about it, well, now you know.

all thingsshows about Russia unwilingness to negotiate. Basically Russia gave ultimatum to Ukraine to surrender, give whole Donbass and Luhansk, forget about joining NATO, ''denazify'' themselves, not matter what it means and they don't show any intentions to negotiate.
And that was Russia's best offer for Ukraine. Ukraine had to agree, it was possible to save the lives of tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and the Kherson region. Russia's next proposal will be even worse.

...
In Kyiv on May 9 2022, a traditional parade will be held in honor of the victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany. It is naive and foolish to doubt it.

How about that Russian victory parade on May 9th, 2022 in Kyiv?

You are cordially invited to come, bring your Russian flags, Z posters/stickers, and sunflower seeds.

At this point, Ukrainians will not talk until all Russian soldiers either leave Ukraine (Donbas and Crimea) or die in Ukraine.

There is no other option, so keep drinking your Z kool-aide and keep dreaming of the Soviet Union.
269  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: May 04, 2022, 12:26:00 AM
At the current time, even if the US simply pulled out of the Ukraine, it will take a year for things to settle down between the Ukraine and Russia. But as long as the US keps arming the Ukraine, Russia is going to push back.

Cool

Are you sure? Just a year? More like never.

The US policy is to destroy the Russian army so that it never is able to do this to any other country.
Russia will "push back" until it runs out of tanks.

Do you think the US/NATO will run out of Stingers/Javelins before Russia runs out of tanks?
Russia will be crushed.

There will be no relationship with fascist Russia. Sorry to disappoint you.

guaranteed there is so much support for Ukraine, none of them got there the ground zero because if they do show there, Putin will send his weapons of mass destruction to shoot a single outsider's vehicle. it will sound overkill but they can justify this because he had sent warnings already live on TV. while they are not yet doing that, NATO countries will have to be careful not to provoke them from doing it.

i'm not sure if he can get west but he did get the eastern part of Ukraine.

Putin has not even received the eastern part and will not receive it, a dick in the ass, that's what he will get!

Who knows where his asshole has been? I don't think you will find many volunteers who would be willing to risk their dicks for this special operation.

I am sure you'd find millions who would gladly put his head on a pike.

like it or not, he had already grabbed part of the Crimea back in 2014 as far as i know. there were commotions in that region when Putin started invading it. i know he is not as good as we think. he could be the craziest bastard on earth but truth is that they are there to stay as much BTC is here to stay.

in a few years, maybe 10 years from now, we will all forget this war and get used to Putin owning that region of Ukraine as much as we got used to seeing Pakistan not part of India anymore after Gandi break it away. unless someone can actually kick Putin out there. but WHO?

My money is on Lockheed Martin/Raytheon and BAE Systems, lol.

Does your family/community think abortion is murder? Would they shun/exile/disown you?
Have you abortion if you want and face the consequences.. Right to association..
...

If your family/community will "shun/exile/disown" you for having or not having an abortion, you need to find a better family/community.

Abortion is a medical procedure, like a root canal treatment.

If the Feds leave it up to the states, there will always be a place in the US where one can go to get it done.

If your state outright bans it, well, you need to move to another state (New Mexico) to get it done.

All this noise about abortion is pointless.

Grow up people, we have much bigger problems in the world.

Overpopulation, energy/food security, and environmental degradation to name a few.

Zero percent chance. Again, there are a million reasons why that would not happen. Definitely things that do not change "in a blink".

Last time it did:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish%E2%80%93Ukrainian_War

Conveniently forgetting to mention the fact that there was no Poland and no Ukraine a few years back. In 1798 Poland was invaded by Russia, Germany (Prussia) and Austria and wiped from the maps. This wasn't accepted by all countries. For instance, the Ottoman Empire continued to recognize Poland as a country. During that period, all occupants conscripted Polish people into their armies, changed names of towns and streets and forbid the use of polish language in schools. When Poland got back its independence in 1918 and expected the return of its former territories, but Ukraine put a claim to Lviv, which used to be a Polish city with a lot of Poles living there. In 1772 Lviv was taken over by Austria and became the capital of the Habsburg Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, so it was natural for Poland to put a claim to it once the occupying forces left.

Once you know a little bit about history of these lands you start to understand why there was a conflict between Ukraine, that formed a sovereign republic in the same year (1918) and Poland, that saw another country forming in its old borders, pretty much in the same way that Donbas is trying to become a republic within the old borders of Ukraine.

However Russians will try to make it look, they were always an instigator of the conflicts in Europe and have always worked against a number of countries, like Poland and Lithuania. There was no Ukraine at the time, but now that it exists it's also an enemy of Russia and it will remain this way, because Russia can't exist without plotting against its neighbors.
Read about Treaty of the Three Black Eagles and Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact among many other similar "agreements" set in motion by Russians.

Conveniently forgetting to mention that the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth occupation of Moscow took place between 1610 and 1612 during the Polish–Muscovite War, when the Kremlin was occupied by a Polish-Lithuanian garrison under the command of Stanisław Żółkiewski.

See? I can do it too

By your logic, Poles and Lithuanians have solid grounds for annexing Moscow oblast. LOL.

Poland will never attack Ukraine because there are millions of Ukrainians on their territory that they are already helping.

It is a Russian (or pro-Russian moron's) wet dream to stick a wedge between Poles and Ukrainians.

I have two words for you: Katyn and Holodomor. Russian imperialism is what all the civilized world is fighting right now.

Think Ivan, think.

Again dangerous smoking habits near the border:

The Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on his Telegram channel that a fire broke out at one of the facilities of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the region.

Rumor has it that "one of the facilities" is an ammunition depot, and the spontaneous combustion event may or may not have been preceded by a totally unrelated event of a foreign object arriving at a high velocity.

Cigarettes don't fly that far at high speed, though  Grin
Russian officials notoriously lying? Any real news?
I read about 80 civilians were evacuated from Asowstal factory today, british intelligence saw no movement of russian supplies to the front, but the red army seems to bring home defective gear, wounded and dead soldiers to Russia.
They need something to show on that parade on the 9th of may, don't they?

There will probably be less equipment in this year's parades.

I saw on Russia I that they are organizing walking parades all around Russia with pictures of their dead grand-grand/grandparents who fought Germans during WW II.
Young kids with their fascist Z symbols plastered everywhere. Sad story.

They frame it that Russia fought Nazi Germany, Finland, Romania, and of course Ukraine. No mention of Vlasov army.
No mention of ~1.6M Ukrainians who fought in the Soviet Army and died during WWII.

The message that Russians are bombarded with is that "all Ukrainians are Nazis. Russian-speaking Ukrainians are Russian.
The special operation is to protect innocent Russian civilians. All civilian casualties are blamed on Ukrainian Nazis."

Truly unbelievable. Russian public lives in a parallel reality.

BTW, many Polish speak Ukrainian, especially in the Eastern part of Poland. As for Western Ukrainians, well, you don't know but in the last
20+ years many Ukrainians immigrated to Poland. Many of their kids are teachers of the Polish language in Polish schools, lol.

Unless you have been living under the same rock as Putin, it might be a shock to you that the world is more interconnected than ever before.

Poland would never attack Ukraine. Poles are not Katsaps, they don't attack countries.
Poles are more closely culturally related to Ukrainians than Russian-speaking Ukrainians to Katsaps.

Ukrainians and Poles are Europeans. Russians are a horde of Mongols.

Baм pyccким бyдeт пoвний пиздeть.

Thanks for your sagacious input (quoted for the benefit of future generations).  I guess my sources were wrong and there have never been any tensions between the Ukrainians and the Poles in that area.  Nothing but brotherly love from the beginning of time, and any possible tensions are completely out of the question as a future issue.

Yes, your sources are wrong about the current state of affairs.
Historical extrapolations are useless.
The problem with this way of thinking is that it assumes that relations between nations are linear functions.
The world moved on, nobody cares what one's grand-grandfathers thought was important to them.

Most European nations had imperialist history but managed to come out of these dark ages and correct their ways.

The problem here is that Russia did not abandon its 15-19th century imperialist way of thinking.

Only a deluded Russian propagandist can think/write/say that Poland would attack Ukraine and annex its Western territories.

Looks like Western Ukrainians might want to brush up on their Polish:

If I were a Naziesque Ukrainian nationalist (leader) getting my ass hamburgered in the East, I'd be inclined to pack up my kit and head back over to the area where my actual family might be.  I'd make as nice as possible with the Russians as I pack up for my trip back home, though, because it is quite possible that they might be more on the helpful and supportive side in the not-to-distant future.

Poland was already claiming that Russia could attack them so they could be sent a peacekeeping force to Ukraine so that war stays on the soil of Ukraine.
Lol clownworld. Did't know there is currently peace in Ukraine to sent "peacekeeping" force. Last i know there was war.
...

Exactly.

What Poland should do is to send GROM teams as "Green Men"/"Volunteers on vacation" to take over Sevastopol, blow up the Kerch bridge and help Ukrainians retake the occupied territories.
277  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: April 29, 2022, 04:00:07 PM
I also got information about a possible Polish invasion of Ukraine. (This could be a rumor). The information says Poland will send troops to western Ukraine as a peacekeeping mission, which will create a border between eastern and western Ukraine. That information also mentioned that this plan was made a long time ago. I cannot disclose the source of the info, but there is a 50-50 chance, I think. But this will divide Ukraine into two parts and could create a similar situation to the Vietnam War.

I also got information about a possible Komi invasion of the Moscow district. Komi militia has been very active these days and they amassed 40,000 strong infantry units and are ready to advance towards Moscow.
278  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: April 29, 2022, 02:23:19 PM
OF course both USA and Russia will deny it but Ukraine is their playground for at least 20 years.
USA would do better for Ukraine by investing all those billions into Ukraine economy instead in arms,
maybe their GDP per capita would not be 1/3 of Russian

Except Kosovo is recognized by most countries.  So no.

If you meant "most USA colonies" then yes

"Idi ti v pitshku materu"

All civilized countries recognize the Serbian genocide in Kosovo just like they will recognize the Russian genocide in Ukraine.

BTW, Putin does not recognize the independence of any former Soviet republics or satellite countries.

So get ready to receive some Russian Mir, up your Serbian ass.

PS. The GDP of Russia is mainly oil and gas sales so I would not be too excited about this.
Do you think export sales of Ladas without ABS or airbags or tanks without fuel or oil pumps, or engines will make up for the expected losses?

Russia is going to become a Soviet republic sooner or later as Russian Intelligentsia flee the country while they still can.

The only question for Serbia is: do you guys want to follow suit, or join the civilized world.
279  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: April 29, 2022, 06:02:48 AM

just yesterday Putin warns other countries to stay away from this war. he is not bluffing with this. America can stop the war, there is just a price for it. Ukraine can stop the war too and well, for a price too.

Poland may try. there was news yesterday that they are going to reunite with what's left of Ukraine which could be a solution and west Ukraine can be Putin's profit for his war. this could be an alternative bargain or it could get worse when Putin takes Poland as well.

Poland would never attack Ukraine. Russian propagandists need to take their medication or drink less vodka.

Putin still has some time to leave Ukraine/Moldova voluntarily before his army is completely destroyed.
280  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can America end the war in Ukraine?? on: April 28, 2022, 10:46:42 PM
America can only stop the war of Ukraine and Russia if they follow it dialogue. But were by america supporting Russian or neither Ukraine by giving each of the country war supplements. With this method i fish out that it means the war can never come to end. I think world peace keeping ambassador is still existing.so with this sector or set of government function can call the problem of Ukraine and Russia to bar. And it can only happens if peace making ambassador is mandated to do so with other top countries support

I think America can and it should do all what it can to stop this war which is not only causing huge human casualties, collateral damage  but also economic crisis worldwide. Look at crude oil  and food price where they were before the war and where they are today as well as inflation is sky rocketing.  America will have to sit with Russian leadership to negotiate the future of Ukraine which is acceptable for all parties involved and this is the only way to bring this conflict to an end.

Today, the US House of Representatives voted 417-10 to pass a lend-lease bill to allow for an unrestricted armament of Ukraine and other Eastern European countries.

The following Republicans voted against the bill:

Andy Biggs
Dan Bishop
Warren Davidson
Matt Gaetz
Paul Gosar
Marjorie Taylor Greene
Thomas Massie
Ralph Norman
Scott Perry
Tom Tiffany

They need to be investigated for possible links to Russian terrorists.

I think it is a small step in the right direction to end this conflict.

Hopefully, by the year-end the Russian army will be completely destroyed.
