Putin has no limits, but doesn't he don't understand that nuclear disaster would hit not Ukraine only, but also big part of Russia. Especially now when wind is going towards Rostov and Krasnodar.

Well, clearly he doesn't care about a few million casualties, that much is clear by now. An incident like that might be beneficial for his delusional "plan" - look, Ukrainians launched a nuclear attack against us!!!

However if the wind starts blowing towards NATO, that raises some interesting questions. Is that an attack?

Nah, NATO will be waiting until Putin starts dropping nuclear warheads on Paris and Berlin, lol.

NATO prevented Poland from giving Ukraine 70 fighter jets today.  They are 'monitoring' the situation.

They will be monitoring like the West was monitoring the invasion of Poland in 1939.

Putin was so right about the West.  Weak men, arguing until it is too late.

Poland should enter this war, fuck NATO, the Russian army will blow up the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

why force them to speak ukranian,

Noboвy forces them to speak Ukrainian in their daily life and interpersonal communication. Ukraine is a multilingual country, and no one is obliged to speak exclusively Ukrainian in absolutely all spheres of life. But there is such a thing as the official state language. And in Ukraine it is the Ukrainian language. A lot of people have lived in my country for decades and make no effort to learn its language. If you want to move to Germany, do you understand that you will need to learn German? How is the situation with Ukraine different?

why did the people of donbass had to be schelled if ukranians government didn't wanted to inves into its russian eastern parts why not let them break away,

Should all regions where people refuse to learn the state language be separated and create so-called "independent republics", which have no legitimate status and which another country uses to start a further full-scale war?

usa pushed for seperations of regions like kurdistan from iraq, for decades if it supported their agenda,

u can't just have a regime in ukraine that treats parts of its population as slaves. ukraine never was run like switzerland it was run like a colonial american state benefiting the bank founders while wiping out the ancient peoples. the bank's founders thought in the meantime that their wealth and power was god given so they never felt bad about the human rights issues in donbass.

imagine switzerland that speaks german italian and french would get couped by german nationalists that then would run a discriminatory regime in switzerland that would slowly wipe out the french and italian speaking swiss.

would that be not considered a human rights violation?

Are you familiar with the history of the Soviet Union?

BTW, if Ukrainian officials went to Donbas, caught Russian speakers, and sewed their lips surgically, I would consider this a human rights violation.  Ukrainian citizens can speak whatever language they want.

No, for as long as Russian imperialism is alive and well.

The world needs to "de-Punitify" Russia.

Here Moskalaki rob stores:

School in Kharkiv

Maternity hospital in Zhytomyr

Cathedral in Kharkiv

why do ukranians defend their genocidal nazi regime?

Because Putin's army is trying to invade their country.

They will be killing them for as long as they remain on the territory of Ukraine.
425  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why putin choose winter? on: March 03, 2022, 09:23:12 PM
.....

He has already overextended himself militarily.  That is why he asked Lukashenko to lend him more fresh bodies to fill the void and start firing rockets from Belarus.

He will start carpet-bombing soon, I'm afraid.  This will be the end of his reign.

NATO will be forced to join to establish the no-fly zone to prevent a large-scale genocide unless oligarchs will take him out first.

Not sure why Ukrainian forces are not dropping a few bombs (front, middle, and back sections) on that 40-mile convoy, north of Kyiv.
Or maybe they already took care of this.

You have no idea how many Russians died here! Our morgues are packed, their corpses are lying in the fields, forests, fragments - in the destroyed equipment. And you know what? Russia REFUSES TO TAKE THE BODIES OF ITS SOLDIERS!!!! We beg the International Red Cross to facilitate the transfer of the bodies of the dead to their relatives, this is required by international agreements. But the Kremlin does not want to accept them so that people do not see the real picture. Their propaganda says the day before yesterday that there are NO DEAD on their side. But in reality, more than 6,000 corpses of their soldiers have been COLLECTED in Ukraine today! How many of them have not yet been found in the fields, and how many fragmented corpses!? Who does not believe - I can send photos and videos with the destroyed Russian-fascist troops, but I will not publish here, very shocking materials.

About 9000 as of yesterday.  I think soon they will stop counting them daily.

I hope you can kill them whenever you see them.  Do not take prisoners.  Just kill as many as you can.

If you continue this fight to summer/fall, Putin will be killed by the FSB.  There is no way he can survive this for many years.
426  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How long ukraine could survive? on: March 03, 2022, 07:00:20 PM
Ukraine will last forever. It's just the Zelensky's government that's falling.

the question is how soon will ukranians admit the genocide of their regime in donbass and stop fighting

At the current rate of detrition, the Russian military will be unable to continue receiving losses at the current rate in about a year.

200 tanks/week
9000 soldiers/week
900 armored vehicles/week

Assuming they would be able to bring ALL their arm forces to Ukraine.

As long as the West keeps supplying Ukrainians with weapons and supplies, along with economic and financial pressures, Putin has no
possible way of winning this war.

If he resorts to the use of nuclear weapons, all he will do is hasten his fall.

If they manage to destroy the Ukrainian military equipment at a faster rate than the West will replenish them, then Putinians will be faced
with guerilla warfare, in the very unfriendly country and millions of fierce fighters.

I think he is prepared to annihilate Ukraine just like he leveled Chechnya.  However, he has a few problems:  the West support, the lack of revenues, opposition at home and abroad, etc.

You tell me, how in the world he can win this war?
427  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POV] War in Ukraine (The situation on the southern front). on: March 03, 2022, 07:04:35 AM
seriously tvbcof?

your calling the ukrainians the nazi's?

Some are, and are quite open and proud of it.  This is well known.  They form paramilitary units and are used by the leadership for various tasks, and Western funds/arms find their way to them.

your calling the russians the humanitarians?

Relative to the Western powers who've had their way with the country since the coup in 2014, yeah, they probably are.  At least toward the Russian speaking Ukrainians who'd been under threat and attack for 8 years.

your saying that russia had a do not harm order?

As I said, I heard reports of it, and some of the observations I've made substantiate that contention.

i know you are a racist and hate jewish people. so that makes you a nazi. and if your defending russia because you think they also hate jews then that makes them nazi's, especially when russia are invading other countries and the ones threatening a world war

Most 'Nazis' are Jews or are supported by them because it a necessary part of the Jewish shtick to be 'victims.'  If there is not an entity to blame for some phantom victimization they need they'll just create it.

Now Ukraine probably is one of the very few places where 'the Nazi's are real'.  This would be fall-out from the historical and quite obscene abuse (e.g., the Holodomor) that the patch of land and people on it were subject to at the hands of the Bolsheviks and their follow-ups, and these are widely believed to be more than a little on yiddy end of the spectrum.  Not without reason.  Now most genuine sig-heil Nazi's are not the sharpest of knives in the drawer, but they probably do know with little doubt what Zelenski is and who put him there.  And probably are not terribly happy about it.  It's a pretty unstable population each waiting for an opportunity to put the knife in.  I doubt they'll be much of an effective force against the Ruskies, and it doesn't look to me as though they are thus far.

The smart money is that the West is setting up for covert operations a-la Syria hoping to trap the Russians in a tar-baby.  I suspect that Putin is smart enough to thwart that (by not sticking around any more than necessary to make sure that the regions he wants as a buffer zone stay stable enough.)

The West would probably like to de-nazify as well and using them up in internecine warfare within what's left of Ukraine and pitched battles at the new borders would be one way to do that.  I'm guessing that when all is said and done, a swim across the Dnieper will be the first obstacle to harassment operations in the 'liberated' parts of the terrain.  At least South of Kiev which I expect Putin will return.

Take your medication and stop typing.  You are embarrassing your psychiatrist.
428  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POV] War in Ukraine (The situation on the southern front). on: March 03, 2022, 01:12:19 AM
Part of captured equipment for today!

Believe it or not, but over the past 14 hours, a LOT of military equipment has been captured or destroyed in the Nikolaev region.

I would still take all this information with a grain of salt. both sides place information where they present themselves as winners, it is only part of a strategy to encourage and raise morale. unfortunately, there are more and more victims on both sides.
I find this in one of Ukrainian tg channels "Special Operation Forces of Ukraine warns Russian artillerymen, that after attacks on civilian population they will be no longer taken as POWs", the situation is becoming more and more brutal.

They should have not taken any POWs from day one.  Ukrainians were fighting by the book.  They even returned Chechens to the FSB.
Which I think Putin will send them back into Ukraine.

It bogged down their resources.

Putinians were killing their own wounded soldiers, not to slow them down.

Some of them were caught dressed in civilian clothes, pretending to be on the Ukrainian side.
429  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 02, 2022, 09:00:12 PM
I think what might actually result from all this, is that Russia will be broken up into smaller countries, stripped of its nuclear weapons, and
heavy sanctions will be imposed on them to pay for all the damage they have caused.  Think Germany after WWI.

Who's going break them up? Whoever controls Russia's nuclear weapons can stop any effort like that by threatening to nuke the aggressor, so you'd have to have the leader of Russia (Putin or his successors) voluntarily give up their nukes, etc.

All the ~200 ethnicities that are part of Russia now.

Current videos and news from Ukrainian borders has shown that foreigners, especially Africans are been treated like animals. Reports showed that some Africans have been forced to remain in Ukraine. They are been pushed out of queues and priority were given to Europeans and other “white” nationals.

African students are left waiting for days to cross in freezing temperatures without food, blankets or shelters. Some were pushed down as they tried to board trains. Ukrainian and Polish citizens were allowed to pass through while foreigners have to go through four stages process that lasted from 14 to 50 hour.

Ukrainians and Poles we know it has not been easy, but nobody deserves to die please.

Thank you the people of Moldova and Romania for your non-discriminatory warm welcome.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/2/more-racism-at-ukrainian-borders

why do only africans and asians matter, the entire war was about discrimination and human rights abuses against the eastern ukranians that speak russian and that life there since around 1000 years

the entire western media doesn't said a single word about that

yeah, I know. It happened the same when the Christians killed new-borns during the Roman Empire and Caligula was forced, against his will, to kill them in the circus. The media did not say anything. I wonder why the press is not saying anything against the obvious racism against the Russian speaking population of Ukraine (nearly half)... they must be part of a secret conspiracy.

Or, who knows...maybe you are simply wrong.

well we will see who defines truth, in ancient bibical religions people that are higher in the human ranking have more divine rights to define "the truth"

i think in ancien jewish society it was very strict and important to believe what the king claimed, what the king claims is always true.

since putin is more like a king than the woke western leadership, its likely that the truth will end up being more like his than the one of them

So now you are going to use the Bible.  Oh boy, don't get me started about the Bible, lol.

I think as people try to save themselves from this Putinian carpet bombing, the worst comes out in some people.

I do not think that this is as widespread as the article tries to imply.

You have to understand that this is war, and you might have to wait for days to cross the border. Regardless of what passport you hold.
Poland accepted more than 500K+ refugees in just a few days, regardless of their origin.  Just think about this for a minute before you complain about the wait lines.

You want to be angry, be angry at Putin.  He is responsible for ALL this mess.

why do they defend the ukranian regime, the army went in to catch them, defending the ukranian regime makes putin think they are all nazis and are not worth to keep alive.

stupid idiots

They are defending their country from foreign aggression.

U.S. officials believe Kyiv will fall in 4-6 weeks, with Russia/Ukraine war lasting over a decade.

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates/russia-ukraine-news-kyiv-war-putin-invasion-talks-today/#post-update-8de46653

With the amount of Ukrainian propaganda floating around, there is this notion that Ukraine is winning this war or even has the potential to win this war. It simply is not true. The Russian military has too many resources to throw away and the economic ramifications does not effect Putin directly. His fragile ego will put his political ambitions over his constituency. So without any input from NATO, this is prolonged losing battle for Ukraine. It seems like Russia has been targeting civilian areas over the last few days, and there are some reports that it might ramp up within the coming weeks. A 10-20 year time line sounds reasonable, and at the end Ukraine might end up being a wasteland like Afghanistan.

And after that Putin most likely will be dead and so will be his ideas of the Russian Empire.

I think what might actually result from all this, is that Russia will be broken up into smaller countries, stripped of its nuclear weapons, and
heavy sanctions will be imposed on them to pay for all the damage they have caused.  Think Germany after WWI.

The US, Japan, and China will probably exploit them for their resources.

But Putin also fights back the bigger empire that threatens his country land security.

Right. Ukraine "threatens" Putin because it might join NATO, so let's occupy Ukraine and have a new border with four actual NATO countries. Hmmm... there are more "threats" now. Gotta occupy them too.

Putin the little snowflake will not feel "safe" until he owns all of Europe. Even then, there is the US just across the pond...

I do not think Putin plans to occupy Ukraine and join it with mainland Russia. Ukrainian peoples are hostile towards Russians still RF is trying to avoid civilian casualties. I am assuming they are trying to keep their images and replace them with a puppet government in Ukraine. Putin knows annexation would cause more problems like insurgents and civilian unrest. Ukraine could be a buffer state between NATO and Russia.

The puppet government would only survive if the Ukrainian army and all Ukrainian citizens who are against the Russian rule
are exterminated and are replaced with Putinians from Russia proper.

We are probably talking 90-100% of the 44 million.  You do the Math.  It will be physically impossible.

They are already determined to defend their country.  Imagine if Putinians start killing Ukrainian citizens en masse.
They will have nothing (literally) to lose but defend their country, no matter the cost.

So Turkey should be invading Bulgaria and Crimea, lol.

Complete madness.  I wish we had a time machine so that we could send all these autocrats to the 11th century where they belong.

I would suggest 15th century, because it gets better. I found evidence that Ukraine is actually ancient NATO land:

So Ukrainians should go and get Smolensk and de-Putinify the area, lol?

This is how ridiculous Putin's claims are.  What he did was to solidify Ukrainians' resolve to resist Russia, all Ukrainians regardless of their linguistic abilities, Gods they believe in, or political spectrum they belong to.

Imagine if France had a dictator (I know, I heard it), and tomorrow he attacks Canada to get the Quebec province back.
Quebecers and the rest of Canada will say: "Va te faire foutre!".  This is exactly what Ukrainians are saying to Putin, "Idi ty na hooy, blat"

This is how wrong Putin is about Ukraine. Too bad he will find it out the hard way.
436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POV] War in Ukraine (I will answer your questions). on: March 02, 2022, 03:14:41 PM
the lack of display of russia's 'power' is something putin will regret soon.

I am the one who does not want to see that "power". This whole war seems strange to me. In mass media I only see how many military engineering Russia has lost, while Ukrainians only have civilian losses. I have seen on tv many times how destructive Russian weapons are, how much damage their rockets can make, how badass their ships and submarines with nuclear weapon are. What I see now on YouTube and telegram - some kind of 18-21 year old kids captured by Ukrainian army. That makes me feel that either all Russian army and its potential is fake, or they have send kids that undergo compulsory service in army to war, or real and experienced Russian army is too smart no to take part in this war.

It is also possible that Putin send less experienced units first to bleed the Ukrainian positions before sending more seasoned, professional
soldiers to finish them off.

Or Ukrainians are just badass.  They decimated the Chechen contingent.  And everyone was saying how fearsome, ruthless these Chechen
special forces were.  No more.

The 400 Wagner's Group contractors did a diddly squat so far.  Not sure if the Ukrainian army killed them all tough so they still might play a role in this conflict.

We don't know exactly what happened.  All we know is that about 6000 Russian soldiers actually died as of yesterday.  Countless equipment has been destroyed and abandoned.
437  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POV] War in Ukraine (I will answer your questions). on: March 02, 2022, 05:24:42 AM
the way i see it
russia for decades has been spouting crap about its military might/power. by saying it has precision missiles and stuff that can take out america in 1 swoop.. yet.
(playing devils advocate) if i was a dictator with all this supposed tech i would have precision targetted all of the military bases and political buildings in one swoop in 1 hour to fast forward a country take-over plan on day 1

the lack of display of russia's 'power' is something putin will regret soon.

im not playing down the atrocities or saying that russia isnt doing damage. im just saying. russia isnt really as targetted/technologically accurate or strategic as it claimed.

ukraine is doing great defending itself, even with nato/un and other countries just sitting at the sidelines. i just think putin already lost his battle. he just doesnt realise it yet, because putin doesnt actually have the power he has been chest beating about for the last decade+

once the world realises that russia cant even take out its neighbour. the world will take out putin. and so we should
russia underestimated ukraines response and russia over exaggerated its own power for the last few decades

if i was america. i would have had a team of people watching putins every move for years. knowing his exact location by the minute. and accidentally slipped on a button that dropped a precision targeting bomb on his head, taking out only one casualty.. him

He will be convicted of war crimes by that time, so it is possible a drone can take him out, just like any other terrorist.
438  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 02, 2022, 05:20:26 AM
Since Putin is apparently now a crazy old man with a Napoleon complex, this horrifying thought occurred to me: If Ukraine resists for many weeks, why wouldn't Putin use a nuclear weapon against them? It'd be like the situation with Japan and the US in WWII: Putin can nuke a couple of Ukrainian cities (probably in the western half) and say, "Surrender unconditionally or I'll nuke a couple more." And he could just continue nuking cities until Ukraine capitulated. NATO wouldn't respond with direct military action, Ukraine doesn't have nuclear weapons of its own, and sanctions are already nearly maxed out. I don't see how Putin has much to lose with this strategy (except that it might horrify his direct subordinates or population enough for them to oust him), and it's a sure-fire way to win Ukraine.

You might think that Putin wouldn't want to get a radioactive wasteland as a prize, but that'd be a misunderstanding of the effects of nuclear weapons. Using appropriately-sized nukes, Putin could destroy dozens of cities without making Ukraine generally uninhabitable. The radioactive fallout would cause serious issues (worse in Ukraine and extending worldwide), but it wouldn't kill that many people in most areas, and it would decay in weeks.

To try to prevent this, the West urgently needs to find some way of giving Putin some sort of hope that he personally can improve his situation without conquering Ukraine. As things stand now, there seems to be zero hope of the sanctions ever being lifted as long as Putin is alive, so Putin sees that his only two options are to give up and become an iron-fisted dictator of a poor country, like North Korea, or continue pursuing his dream of restoring the Russian empire at all costs. The West might offer Russia a series of steps that would lead to progressively removing the sanctions, and it might even be worth offering Putin safe personal exile (like Napoleon) so he can retire in peace. He probably wouldn't take a quiet retirement, but it doesn't hurt to offer it.

If you're within about 250km of Ukraine, it'd be a good idea to:
 - Put important files onto optical media, since a nuclear EMP may destroy hard drives and SSDs.
 - Buy potassium iodide tablets. In case of nuclear fallout, adults take 130mg/day. This will help your long-term survival, but will absolutely not make you immune to radiation.
 - If possible, prepare 2 weeks of food and water in case you have to shelter from fallout. An appropriate shelter will put as much matter between you and the outside world as possible, without any direct airflow. Air filtration isn't necessary, but air should not be able to flow freely in from the outside. Fallout will especially accumulate on the ground outside and on roofs, so you want your shelter to be far from those. A basement is good if it's deep enough, but a shallow basement isn't ideal because you're too close to the ground outside. A subway would probably have too much air flowing from outside. The middle floors of a very tall building can be used, staying as far as possible from the exterior walls.

Nothing is impossible with this guy.  Either way, he will have to kill millions of Ukrainian citizens to accomplish his
dream of de-Nazification.  Nuclear bombs or not.

I am afraid we all will be joining this war, no matter what.  Even countries that are still supporting this mad man.

The US is making a critical strategic mistake by not establishing the no-fly zone over Ukraine.

They can still prevent this potential genocide.  They will enter the war when millions of innocent people die.

The most upsetting thing about this whole ordeal is that Putin told the whole world what he is going to do, but nobody believes him.

If he is successful with Ukraine, and NATO does nothing, he will go after Kazakhstan and Georgia.

Annexation of Belarus is a given.
439  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 02, 2022, 03:39:18 AM
If you follow this logic, Ukraine should be bombing Moscow right now, and annexing Russia because there are millions of Ukrainians in Russia.

Ancient Kievan lands... 1000 years ago, since before Moscow even existed.

That's not how they would see it. Moscow would have less than 10 minutes to respond if a missile comes from Ukraine. But if a missile comes from Poland or Hungry or whichever countries behind Ukraine, they are able to respond to an attack with enough time.

If the country behind Ukraine will also pose a thread carrying missiles and weapons, Russia will also disarm them. That could be the case of course they will have to negotiate again to stop it as they did to Ukraine. This is all drama really, the West doesn't care about Ukraine. What does Ukraine contribute to the US except to deter Russia to have an excuse for the crumbling economy and now we can blame Russia for the inflation. Let's forget about the printing.

Isn't Latvia closer to Moscow than Ukraine?

Besides Putin has nukes in Kalingrad that can reach any European capital in minutes.

This has nothing to do with the security of Russia.  It is all about Soviet imperialism.
