261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: November 28, 2019, 03:21:23 AM
No, this isnt altseason but bearish season lol. you can look at cryptocap exclude btc and know that this is not alseason
i think altseason wont happen if the bitcoin dominance is still high and hasnt reached new ATH
so, we have to wait until several years to get altseason back. but i m sure that it will happen again
I agree that what we are seeing is not an altcoin season and that we are in the middle of a bear season however you cannot really wait until the bitcoin dominance is really low to invest in the market, by the time you invest most likely the whole altcoin season is over, right now is a good moment to invest in altcoins because the bitcoin dominance is high and it cannot go that much higher however the problem with doing that now is that the market could give us a surprise and remain static for months.
262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: November 28, 2019, 02:59:50 AM
You can't stop people from making ways to sell their bitcoin hold today as the price of bitcoin is falling. Because we have different reasons, others may have to cut losses to buy back at cheaper rates. Some needed money, so they quickly converted their hold of bitcoin into fiat money. And they can do it because nobody controls bitcoin, so we can't stop these people from their freedom for it.

It is not that difficult. Sell high, buy low! Not the other way round.
If it was that easy then everyone will be making money in the markets and that is not what we see, whenever we see a significant movement in the price of bitcoin we see a lot of people complaining about it and how what it's happening should not be possible and how the market should be moving in the direction that they want and we keep hearing about how they are good traders even if their capital says otherwise because it keeps decreasing every day.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 28, 2019, 02:39:58 AM
If you have little amount in ETH and BTC, why don't you just hold it instead of investing in something else? These 2 are the best choices. If crypto market go up, then any one of these 2 will lead it.
I think you're right but most people do not want to hold ethereum or bitcoin because they have unrealistic goals that are impossible to reach with those two coins, they want to obtain tremendous profits out of their small investment and while the growth that ethereum and bitcoin are going to experience is without a doubt bigger than what any other asset can give there are many that want to obtain even greater profits with unknown altcoins because their capital is small.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 28, 2019, 02:22:35 AM
Actually all activity depend your decision, you want grow your capital or profit. The different between those strategy only time but become amazing and ridiculous when handle by people who doesn't have knowledge and enough fund. The best how to learn those strategy is in the field ( market ). Try your best, make a journal and fix your mistakes.

Yes, you are right, we are the master of our decision, so no matter what we do with our fund if we will use it wisely and maximize it then we can have profit. Although for me day trading is much better as there is no assurance in holding for long term, so I prefer what can make me profit in short term even not too much rather than panicking always when the price is dropping.
If anything the opposite is true, if you bought bitcoin at any time except during December of 2017 then most likely you have profits, that should give you an idea of how profitable it is to hold your coins for the long term but when it comes to short term trading there is not such guarantee, the price moves in unpredictable ways and very few people have the necessary self-control to not sell their coins for a loss when the market does not do what they want.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 27, 2019, 04:05:31 AM
yes they will  . there are campaign that have a permanent rule until they end thier campaign  . you can also ask the manager in advance and the manager will also ask the owner if there will be change that will be applied later on.  if you agree that there will be changes then you can stay but  if not then you can always skip these kind of campaign and find another one that got your taste.  there are hundreds and thousands of bounty campaign so im sure that atleast few of them are going to pass your preference
There are very few campaigns like that, bounty campaigns know that they are in a position of power compared to bounty hunters and they are not afraid to use it, they know that they can create any rule that they want and that they will always get enough bounty hunters interested in participating in their campaign regardless of what they do and since many of those campaigns are created by scammers they do not really care about their reputation as long as they get investors to put their money in their project.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: November 27, 2019, 03:12:50 AM
There are couple of ways to earn I personally started with investment but when I saw that I was losing more than I gained I had to switch to airdrop (free token) and then I started bounty where I earn token for working for them project.
While I'm sorry that you lost money when you tried to invest in this market, I do not really feel like what you are doing is going to give you too many profits either, airdrops and bounties are a waste of time and have been a waste of time for years, I still do not understand why it is still so popular when the results have been so poor for so long, and even if you feel like you are not losing anything because you are not investing money in those coins you are wasting your time which you could have use to do something more productive.
267  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the halving a catalyst for a Bitcoin price bubble? on: November 27, 2019, 01:46:10 AM
I actually don't think that a bubble will form as a result of the halving this time round.

It's much more likely that this time, a more graduated and mild run up will occur when come halving time, because of the fact that the sentiment within the market is still extremely bearish and that will take time to reverse.

So to your question, is it a catalyst for a bubble? Not necessarily. Is it a catalyst for a bull run? absolutely.

You may be correct but either way we know that cutting the mining reward in half has to have some kind of affect. It’s just interesting that the bubbles/crashes historically seem to happen every 4 years.
It is clear that there is a market cycle in this market that happens every four years and it is very difficult to ignore that the halving also happens every four years, however the market is not as predictable if it was then everyone will earn money in the markets and we know that is not true, so I am expecting that the next halving is going to be slightly different, most likely what we are going to see is that the market is not going to move much for months, people will get desperate and will sell their coins and that is when the price will go up.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GameCredits (GAME) - Up 230% - What Happened? on: November 27, 2019, 01:21:39 AM
Anyone knows what happened with GameCredits (GAME) price today? It's up 230% and I cannot find out why. That's more than double the price in
If you are holding the coin does it really matter? What I mean is people are always looking for explanations about why the market moves in the way it moves, honestly as long as my investments are making me money I don't really care about why that happens, people care too much about trying to figure out things like this when what they should be trying to figure out is how to increase their capital, that is why we are speculating with those coins, so forget about it and enjoy your profits if you have them.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 27, 2019, 12:59:25 AM
It would be a smart move to start buying up quality alt-coins if the market gets any cheaper as you'll not regret it in the long run just be patient and wait for the bargains to present themselves and you'll not likely be disappointed in the mid-term
The problem of buying altcoins when the price is still going down is that you do not know when these tendencies are going to stop, we know the market of cryptocurrencies can be completely unpredictable and a small correction in the price could be indicative of a large move and if that is what it happens you'll spend months or even years holding your coins just to the to recover your money and many investors are not really ready to do such a thing and that is why they fail when the hold their coins.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 26, 2019, 02:41:32 AM
In a recent statement, the People's Bank of China (PBoC) said that illegal crypto exchanges in China would not have a living land.

Specifically, the PBoC warned that it would take specific action against illegal crypto exchanges in the country and review all transactions involving cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.

PBoC is committed to handling and controlling cryptocurrency trading activities in China. Indicate that individuals and organizations who have illegal cryptocurrency trading activities will be handled according to the law.

The move by the PBoC is thought to be in response to the wave of strong investment in cryptocurrencies in the past few days in China, since Chinese President Xi Jinping voiced support for Blockchain making the delivery operations Cryptocurrency outbreak in China is booming.

In addition, to avoid misunderstandings as well as to restrain the increase of cryptocurrency activity The Chinese government recently had to reassert "Blockchain, not cryptocurrency".

Perhaps this is the explanation for the sharp decline in Bitcoin prices in recent days.

Do people have any comments on this?
The Chinese government said that they were going after illegal exchanges and I really doubt that those exchanges have the kind of power and volume that an exchange like binance has, so I find very unlikely that the current decrease in the price of bitcoin is the result of this announcement, at the end I don't think that we will ever know what was the cause for the crash in the price that we have seen during the last days I only expect that at some point the price stops crashing.
271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: November 26, 2019, 02:02:40 AM
I can't afford to buy bitcoin when there is a decline again later either at the end of this year or in early 2020, I only have a little capital and only enough to buy some other cheaper Altcoin, in some time I feel being played with by bitcoin prices this time
You do not really need to buy one bitcoin you can buy whatever you can afford, I know that is very tempting to buy altcoins because you can buy a very huge number of them for a very low price but what it is the point of buying an altcoin that is going to go down in value and it is never going to recover? It is better to use your money to invest in something that you know that no matter what happens it will go up in value during the next years.
Actually, if funds are limited, the second option is to collect from trading altcoins, but the fact is that it is now increasingly difficult to make a profit from altcoins.  when bitcoin goes down and altcoin is even more destroyed. because I myself experienced this, and my assets are getting down due to buying some altcoin that is increasingly destroyed.
And that is the issue that I'm describing, at first sight it may seem as it is more profitable to buy altcoins, but altcoins only outperform bitcoin under very special circumstances and as you can see the market of cryptocurrencies is not in the middle of an a scenario like that, during the whole year of 2019 bitcoin has been outperforming altcoins and now that the price of bitcoin is going down we do not see altcoins recovering but the opposite.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 26, 2019, 12:50:27 AM
It sure looks like it. Last week of October saw Bitcoin pumped 40% in just three days. Lots of bears wiped out. And now the price is almost back to where the pump started. It sure looked bullish back then and now what happened to it?
It isn't really that complex understand what happened, most likely there were quite a few investors shorting the market using leverage and a few whales made the price to go up very rapidly and this caused a margin call on all of those traders, and the whales got a huge amount of money in return, then they stopped buying coins and they began to sell them and since no one was buying bitcoin at those levels the price had no option but to go down and go back to where it started.
273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: November 26, 2019, 12:30:31 AM
All right. To make this easier, it’s not enough just to try to control your emotions, you need to build a certain plan, according to which you will follow. Thanks to this plan, it will be much easier for you to put up with losses and failures, because your goal will be much higher than the level at which you are now. This will be some beacon to the fact that you are moving in the right direction.
This is difficult and requires constant control over your discipline, but only in this way will you become a very good trader the fastest.
This is the right approach, many people always talk about how important it is to control your emotions but they never describe how to do that? And the only way in which we can do that is to have a very defined plan about what we're going to do in every single scenario that presents itself when we trade, if you have a very clear idea about what you're going to do in the case something goes wrong then instead of thinking about what you should do in those circumstances you will only act according to your plans and no emotions will be involved in the process.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 26, 2019, 12:13:26 AM
Honestly we can't be 100 percent safe from scam projects, few ones are well created and they will show no sign of been scam like many scam projects that steal whitepapers or use fake teams
Then the solution is easy don't you think? You need to stop investing in icos and ieos, I know that those that are new to this market do not really want to do that because they want to obtain the same benefits as those that invested early in many of the top coins of the market, but they need to understand that ill will be a tremendous challenge for any coin being released today to become part of the top 50, so all of those profits that they imagine that they are leaving over the table are not there to begin with.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitsend can bounce back again? on: November 24, 2019, 03:10:59 AM
I was holding bitsend coins since 2014 but now I'm worried about bitsend coin because bittrex has delisted the bitsend coin few weeks ago after that bitsend price was gone down deeply and there in no good trading volume in crypto market.
The bitsend team also not announce any latest updates about bitsend coin.

There is any chance bitsend bounce back again?

I really expect that you are not holding a huge amount of those coins because in all honesty I do not see how that coin is going to recover, your only chance is that at some point a pump and dump group becomes interested in that coin and they begin to pump it, if that happens then you should sell it immediately not only because the price will be many times higher than what it is now but also because the volume of that coin is so low that you only need a few dollars to manipulate that market.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: November 24, 2019, 01:21:15 AM
I think altcoin has it's own season rather than wait for bitcoin price pump, because i've just seen the market coin'sbprice on coinmarketcap and there are 3 altcoin who has more than 10% growth just in 24 hours so i think altcoins are having their own season
You are missing the point of what an altcoin season actually means, when people talk about an altcoin season what they mean is that most altcoins in the market are going up in value, it is obvious that when there are thousands of coins in the market there are going to be a few isolated cases of coins going up in value faster than bitcoin, and while I am glad for anyone that is invested in those coins and it is obtaining profits that is not an altcoin season at all.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: November 24, 2019, 12:53:21 AM
Prices are not always in up direction, they can go down and down before making an upward move. I suggest do not get disappointed with alt coins rather start adding your favourite coins in your portfolio.
Now that the market is going down again there are basically two strategies that you can apply, for those that like to hold their coins for the long term this could be the opportunity to buy many good altcoins for a very good price, however this is only a good option for those that have what it is necessary to keep holding their coins no matter what, the second option is to wait and see if the market of altcoins begins to recover somewhat, that way you could make some money with the recovery that is bound to happen.
278  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 24, 2019, 12:35:20 AM
Before investing in crypto, earlier I did have a little savings from my work in the real world. after I entered crypto, I ventured to invest in crypto and quit my main job. So the source of money that I invest is from saving my work in the real world. So until now I continue to invest in crypto and I am investing again the results of this bounty in Bitcoin and Altcoin.

It doesn't seem to be wise to quit your job to dedicate all your time to invest in this market, I understand that if investing in this market is many times more profitable than working on your job you will be tempted to do it but it is also important to know that you are trusting your future to a technology that has not become adopted around the world, it is better that you get your job back and get two sources of income, that way if one of them fails you still have the other one.
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 24, 2019, 12:13:11 AM
It is profitable as long as you know how to do it properly ,
If you don't know a thing yet it is better to use a simulator first to know what strategy would be good for you.

Trading simulator will be really good for all of us specially for newbies in trading because surely they will not know what exactly they need to do when they first step into trading platforms and they will not exactly know how will they apply their analyzations and for people who are trading for some time they can use simulators for testing their strategies.
A trading simulator can be a great way to learn most of the aspects that are involved in trading but there is just one huge problem and that is that it will be impossible for you to simulate the psychological aspects that come from winning and losing money, many traders do not really stop to think about these factors but they are really important because they are the most common reason why traders take bad decisions in the markets and the only way to train those aspects is by trading with real money.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need suggest invest in small amount on: November 23, 2019, 04:21:17 AM
I have little amount in bitcoin $279 and Ethereum $72, so where i can invest now? IEO/ICO or old coins in CMC?

If you want give me suggest for IEO then you can explain, which exchange best for a successful IEO.
Basically ICO no have good position now this time, so another chance making profitable for OLD coins?

thanks to all
This does not seem like the appropriate moment to invest in this market, everything is going down and if things are bad in the top coins then you have not seen what it is happening to low market cap coins, wait until the market begins to trend up once again, this may take months or even one year and while waiting for so long may seem to be difficult I do not think anyone ever said that making money in the markets was going to be easy, your capital is small but it is more than enough if you wait for the right opportunity.
