1221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL vs Day trading on: March 27, 2018, 10:52:10 PM
Unequivocally trading within a day you can earn more money than with long-term investment. But the risks here will be higher. But not all of them get to trade within a day and at the same time earn. This is quite difficult.
This is true in theory but in practice only a few traders are able to get any kind of significant profits out of trading and when you compare that to the holders which only depend on investing in a good coin to make a lot of money then things get a lot more complicated it is easier for a holder to make money over the long run than it is for that a trader, however I will recognize that those traders able to get positive outcomes can get more money than a holder.
1222  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold Prices on: March 27, 2018, 10:35:18 PM
For me I am gonna support the investment in btcs because btcs can make us rich in a moment Wink and that's exactly what I want
If we make a comparison in between the market prices of bitcoin and that of gold only, then we will get to know that it is the market prices of bitcoin which are far more than that of gold and that they are also increasing at a very rapid rate. The price of gold is very much stable since long and that it is not helping its investors in making of any significant amount of money as well. You need to think well and make a smart decision.
Even in just few years, we all know the impact bitcoin has created for investors and which I am sure gold has not even been able to beat that at all since all the years it has been in existence. I would rather prefer putting my bet more on bitcoin than gold, not like I have any gold anyway.

Although, for security and for safety reasons or not bothering about having a problem with your investment, gold is more of an established asset, but early adopters in a great future, I would not miss that for anything.

While it is obvious that I prefer bitcoin over gold we will make a terrible mistake if we underestimated gold if the economy collapsed today people will run and get gold not bitcoin and the reason is simple gold has been around for thousands of years while bitcoin is still very new compared to that and the growth of gold at that point could be almost infinite so it is a good idea to still have some gold just in case something like that happens.
1223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 27, 2018, 10:13:53 PM
Previous few month we see all altcoin price is decrease. So at this time how I recover my loss.I decided one think,I want to sell my all altcoin now.And try to start trade and recovery again. It's possible? Can I do this.Tell me your opinion, can do or not?
so you wanna cut the losses?let me ask you some question is this the only way of earning do you have to feed your family?if yes then go sell all your altcoins, but if not if this only your spare money, then HOLD and wait for the recovery, this may take time but surely will bring back your loss in time,i have the same situation as you,but i am continuously holding and hoping that this dip will stop and growth will happening again for all of us
Cutting your losses is something that you should do only if you're a trader, losing 5% in a day it is not really something that will bankrupt you but when you're trying to cut your losses and your investment has lost 70% then it's simply too late, at that point you should hold, if the price goes down another 10% then who cares, but if recovers and you sold you are never going to see that money again.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: March 26, 2018, 09:27:55 PM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.
Knowing when to hold is probably the most simple, you hold no matter what whether the price goes up or it goes down, what you want to do with your coins is to keep them for as long as possible then once you decide to sell then you need to wait for a bull market for the moment where there is a lot of hype and the price is going up significantly, when you see those factors then you can sell your holdings and if you held for a long time you could make a fortune.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: March 26, 2018, 08:44:24 PM
ICO are getting harder and harder now and people are being smarter to choose where to invest.
If the ICO has no physical project going on, the idea must be new to people and unique for this to be a click in the market.
If the ICO has a physical project it is easier to sell to investors and most of the time it is just a quick crowdsale that ends to sold-out.

ICO will fail instantly if they announce that one of their team members is or brother of Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto why? No one ever sees his face or if Satoshi Nakamoto is really a real name of him.

ICOs are not anymore attractive, It's been a while I haven't invested in ICOs, I wait for price to get higher in exchanges.
This is something that the developers of icos will need to understand, in the past they could get huge funding by showing a white paper and a website and people were willing to invest millions in the  project right now if they want money they need to show that they have something going on for them, that they are not going to run away with the money and that they are serious and are going to develop something that works.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are people doing so many things to frustrate crytocurrency on: March 26, 2018, 08:00:52 PM
I came across an article recently. Google is joining Facebook and Twitter to ban all crypto related ads. Why does everyone seem to want to frustrate crytocurrency?
Who knows? Google doesn't want to frustrate cryptocurrency. It's either they have plans that will give them advantage by having this decision. There's no reason why they did this but this also beneficial to the newbies who are just searching about "bitcoin / crypto" on google and after pressing the search button, those scams crypto ads appears. They will be now safe from those through the search engine but its still their choice if they will follow their own decision and thinking that they can be rich overnight through crypto.
I will not be surprised if in the future Google decides to create its own coin so it is possible that this current ban is in fact a strategic decision by Google to try to hinder possible competitors, this is a very dishonest tactic by Google but I am not surprised one bit by it, they do not care as long as they are the ones that make a lot of money
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: finish college or keep playing bitcoin? on: March 26, 2018, 07:18:58 PM
Right now I love bitcoin from 2106 till now and currently I'm in college but by playing bitcoin I can make a lot of money what should I do? I prefer to play bitcoin instead of college. I also realize that bitcoin will not last forever therefore I want to take advantage when bitcoin still exists.
This is a false dichotomy, I know it is going to be hard but you need to do both, college education can be a great way to get a better job in your future, it is not going to give you profits right away but in the long run if you play your cards right you can make a lot of money, bitcoin can give you money right now, so I think of both of those options as complementary and not as rivals.
1228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you trade? on: March 23, 2018, 10:53:11 PM
I trade like I played gambling,we don't know if we win but it's up to you if how can you handle your idea or technique,,trading sometimes loss but sometimes gain, well,if you are new in trading you can read the candles stick if the coin you want to buy is dump value before or dip value,if you buy high then suddenly low,you don't have choice you need to wait til the value will become high..only you need to do is hold 😂
Trading as if you are gambling is a terrible idea, I know that for some trading may seem very similar to gambling since you are not sure of the outcome you are going to get with your trades, but trading is about trying to predict the direction of the market using very specific tools to do so something that is impossible with gambling in which its impossible to predict what it's going to happen due to the random nature of the games.
1229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: March 23, 2018, 10:40:27 PM
Looking at the rapid growth the Croptocurrency world is experiencing right now, with new and promising Tokens (ONL, ATFS, BERRY etc) being introduced on regarly basis. I actually have a strong confidence that cryptocurrencies would get worldwide acceptance in the nearest future, and with Bitcoins topping the charts of all existing Bitcoins right now, Bitcoins stands to benefit from the newborn cryptos emerging. So if you ask me, I think it is quite impossible for Bitcoin to CRASH.
No i dont fear I dont have holdings of bitcoin. I have altcoins maybe if i will see the chart moving upward i will trade some of my altcoins to bitcoin. Not sure though. Sometimes it is more profitable to invest in altcoins but not all altcoins are trustworthy, a lot also are garbages.
The chance of altcoins crashing is way higher there are so many coins out there that sometimes it is even difficult to know what is happening in that market, every time I look at the altcoin section of the forum I see people showing off their portfolios and most the time there are a few coins that I have never heard anyting about.
1230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 23, 2018, 10:37:19 PM
im a newbie but my urges to know trading is very high. I believe trading will make me so much money, from the reading and research that i made, there is a big chance that anyone who trade in the market make a very huge profit out of it... i just want to  follow their footsteps and make my own money from trading...  time may come i will understand trading and earn lot of money. may GOD help me when that time arrive.
You need to be realistic with what you can get out of the market many newbies think that they can make a fortune by themselves by trading and while that is true and when it comes to trading only your skill matters the truth is most people that go with those dreams never realized them and instead lose the very small capital they had.
1231  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Beware YOBIT users on: March 23, 2018, 09:57:50 PM
I have been answering 2 support tickets for more than two months.
They allow the purchase in btc of COX and do not allow the sale when they can not be moved to another exchange. Yobit is stealing user's coin in that way and it's not the only currency they use to cheat. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM
Yobit doesn't have the best reputation around the forum, so before putting your money in any exchange you need to check for reviews on the Internet especially reviews in this forum if you did that you could have been able to avoid putting your money in that exchange since it is very easy to find a lot of irregularities on that exchange.
1232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long or Short since Bitcoin reached 8800 again? on: March 23, 2018, 09:53:59 PM
The cryptocurrency market reminds me of the history of the wild West. No rule. There are many opportunities, but they are all at greater risk. Stay away from this impossible because of this may depend all our future life. I act on the principle of the mind fears but hands make.
Well you must understand that every opportunity comes with great risk, you are referencing the wild west well those that did tried to conquer the wild west took a risk and stayed despite they faced basically two outcomes, they could fail miserably or they could succeed and the only way to succeed is to be willing to fail you need to accept that is part of the deal if you can't then stop investing in bitcoin.
1233  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: March 20, 2018, 10:52:01 PM
If your financial goal is short-term (between 1–5 years) and your risk appetite is high, meaning your heart and soul can tolerate big potential loses, then Bitcoin is a good option for you.
There's big optimism for this currency + many speculators, to which you can make money off if you're smart enough.

That is the profile of the person that could make money in bitcoin you need to have some goal and to be willing to hold for sometime, one year is the minimum amount of time that you should consider to hold bitcoin, five years is a lot more reasonable, and if you are willing to hold no matter how much the market moves then you can make money in bitcoin but you need to be realistic, look at what happened to those that invested in December they thought they could manage their emotions only to discover they could not and now they have lost their money.
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC PUSHES PAST $ 10K on: March 20, 2018, 10:34:14 PM

over the past two days, BTC  prices has dipped as low as $9k. the BTC prices has since bounced back to a touching high of $ 10.4k, cold this be an indication that BTC is on the recovery track?
This is happening once again now however I still can't see any signs of a healthy recovery coming in. Rather some people are still of the opinion that BTC will continue to fall once again and there is still some time before the correction or the secondary market trend ends and the BTC moves again to the primary market trend. So instead of hoping for a recovery its better if we try to make profit in this bear market.
Just be very careful trying to make profits when the market is moving like this is going to be really difficult not many will be able to do it, only those that have great skill at trading should attempt it, everyone else without that knowledge should just hold his coins and if possible buy more bitcoin at the current prices, if people followed that simple formula they will avoid losing money but I'm pretty sure that we are going to see many threads of people that will make a mistake  and will lose a fortune as a result.

Its difficult to make a trading profit out of this very unstable btc price today, but not for the veterans trader, infact some of them took advantage against the current price flow. For most of us are whining about how long would btc crash without any idea that we could make profit out of this as well. But to make our investment safe, least thing to do is to buy at the lowest dip and hodl it till it reach the target mark.
Experimented traders can make money in all the market conditions whether the market goes up or down, but this is why I have always believed that the bull market can be very dangerous for a novice trader because it gives the illusion that you are getting a lot of profits due to your skill when in fact the market is doing all the work for you.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is best to invest in BITCOIN now? on: March 20, 2018, 10:23:33 PM
it's smarter to contribute bitcoin now since its low cost and half of the value a year ago it dropped now so on the off chance that you contribute a great deal of bitcoin and the bitcoin cost will rise and come back to its unique value it would be twofold that you contributed cash.
It will have been smarter for a lot of us to invest in bitcoin a few years ago, unfortunately I was not aware of bitcoin and when I did it took me some time to be able to actually see the full potential of bitcoin and when I finally was able to see it, it was a little bit too late, I still have some bitcoin but like many people here I would like to have a lot more.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you a full time trader or just part timer? on: March 20, 2018, 10:16:56 PM
I am an unemployed person, coincidentally I also really like trading, so i can do it anytime, Usually I become lazy trading after suffering huge losses, big losses make my spirit fade..  Undecided
This is such a sad story, but at the same time it was to be expected it is very difficult to trade with money you know you need this is why one of the most common advices is in the forum is to only trade with money that you can afford to lose if you cannot afford to lose that money then you are going to be very afraid to trade it can being afraid is a terrible state of mind to when trading.

I'm a part time trader but I have some good experience in trading it gives me a good profit that's why all of us saying trading is not an easy job you need an experience in trading if you don't have it you will definitely loss your money in trading or if you want to learn make a small investment that you don't want and learn from that it will give you a good experience .
Experience is probably one of the most important factors when it comes to trading many people do not think about it but it's crucial, the experience can tell to you when to sell your coins before you lose even more money, so experience can save you, it can convert something that could be a total disaster in just a minor loss and that is huge if you think about it.
1237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 20, 2018, 08:48:37 PM
We should remember one thing that loss is not a loss until we take it, so if you are holding your investment in Bitcoin then you have two options,

* Hold - As we all know Bitcoin price fall down by 65% in last few months, it is time when it should recover (considering the past trends) so holding would be one option to recover the loss.

* Buy and Hold - As you can see high loss for your account, there is option to buy more Bitcoins when the price is low and that will reduce the average acquisition price and you will be able to sell it when actual market price will surpass the actual acquisition price.
You are right but I think time people do not want to accept that, most of the people that invested at the end of the year wanted to make some fast profits and now they are looking at holding for years in order to recover their money and this is something that it is probably not going to make them very happy, and that's why they are selling even if we know that is a big mistake.
1238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL vs Day trading on: March 17, 2018, 03:15:55 AM
Initially I thought that in the cryptocurrency the HODL strategy was the most profitable. Now the number of instruments for trading is very large, so there is an option to maximize profits by shifting from a coin to a coin. It should be understood that daytrading is suitable only for experienced traders, for beginners the best option will be to hold and parallel the study of the scope of daytrading.

Day trading has always been the field of professionals, I don't know why people that have never traded a single asset in their lives think they can do the same that professional traders can do, it's simply illogical to think that a person that has never studied trading can do the same as someone that has years of experience and knowledge and yet we see the same mistake over and over again from newbies and they lose money as a result of those dumb decisions.
1239  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 17, 2018, 03:03:57 AM
I always prefer day trading in such a market but only with medium and small marketcap coins. This is the best opportunity to buy some large mcap coins for long term HODL. There isn't a best time to trade. You can trade in any market until you understand the market sentiments. After some hit and trial you can understand the general trader's behavior in crypto market and can time your buy and sell accordingly.
Current time is really good for long term investment. Although day trading is more profitable, and can give you instance profit but still it is too much risky and in current time bitcoin price is trading a little low therefore there are more chances that bitcoin price will boost very soon, i think we need to hold bitcoin for next few months and we will surely see the price doubt after few months.
I don't really think that day trading is more profitable than holding for the long term, I know it seems very easy to look at the charts and think that you can make a lot of money but it is never easy most traders are long term losers, they are unable to predict how the market is going to move in the short term and even if the potential of day trading is there it cannot be exploited by most people.
1240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Advertising through bounty profitable? on: March 17, 2018, 02:53:07 AM
I want to ask how does the people that do bounty make money.I mean they are giving away money for free. How is it profitable for ICO teams?
Because very less amount of people invest in their ICO through bounty. Huh
If the bounty is paying with their own tokens then of course it is profitable, it didn't cost the developers any money to create those tokens since those tokens do not have value yet, the ones working for those tokens are the ones taking on the risk because if the project is not successful then all their work will be for nothing.
