261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most unusual games you played in a crypto casino? on: July 09, 2019, 02:06:58 PM
All the casinos I've visited recently have nearly all the same games.  I think players would rather play something they are familiar with instead of trying something new and not understanding the rules.

Any type of animal fighting is considered unusual to most gamblers but that type of thing happens in secret.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the difference between Libra and Bitcoin on: July 09, 2019, 01:59:29 PM
Libra is nothing like bitcoin, it will be pegged toe he dollar and will be centralized.  IT will basically be a centralized version of tether to be used on Facebook's platform.  No point in even calling it a crypto, it should be compared to paypal instead.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin : The Money of People on: July 09, 2019, 01:52:47 PM
Bitcoin is already unobtainable for most of the world's population.  It will always be unfair because how it was launched , most people didn't even hear about bitcoin until it was too late.  Most people don't have 10 grand to spare on one coin.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 08, 2019, 01:31:01 PM

I doubt we will see that KD and Westbrook tandem but well, Thunders knows how to find talents before but sadly they didn't became champs with them.
That's why they are planning to rebuild again, there are young talents that might come and lead the team to more success.
No team can make a player to stay forever, though westbrook is no doubt one of the best player in the NBA but he is not a good example of a team leader,  and we all know basketball is a team game and not only a one man game, so even with his very awesome triple double stats its still useless if he cannot lead his team to be in the NBA finals and to win.
But Kobe Bryant stayed to Lakers until he retired?

Thunders is sort of a talent scout but they should start getting their team rebuild and I hope they can cope up with the next season.

Kobe is just one good example of a loyal player, but he is different from Westbrook since Kobe is a GOAT while Westbrook is not.
If a player loves to stay and the manage agrees there would be no problem since they are the one that are paying the players, but if they see you are not anymore valuable like the amount they pay you, they will have to let you go or trade you, that's life in the NBA, no player can stay forever if the management will not agree.

Kobe Bryant was constantly demanding trades earlier in his career.  He is far from a loyal player.  Always had an attitude problem and a lot of his teammates hated playing with him.  Money is the reason he stayed , it wasn't loyalty.  He wanted to play in a big market.  When Kobe was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets he demanded his way to Los Angeles.
265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For Daytrading which time frame suits best? on: July 08, 2019, 01:28:30 PM

I have plans for long term but would also be great to earn every day in trading. The indicators signals the different course of action when I'm in the daily chart but shifting to 4hour and 1hour tells something else. How do you read the chart on different time frame accompanied with the indicators you only knew using like the RSI?

None of that matters when random whales decide to dump their stash of bitcoin and that can happen at anytime.  At its core trading is gambling but the odds can be more in your favor if you do the research.  No trader is perfect and everyone will occur losses, you just need to know when to cut them instead of foolishly holding through it.
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: July 08, 2019, 01:25:55 PM
Not sure if any of you are familiar with an online video game called Runescape but Venezuelans have flocked to that game in mass in order to farm video game gold and sell it for real money.  They make much more farming gold, up to 10x the amount than they would make working a regular job in their economy.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 08, 2019, 01:20:20 PM
My friend told me that Ronaldinho is coming out of retirement to play for Barcelona again. Did anyone else hear about this?

lol, Ronaldinho is a legend but his prime was over 10 years ago.  HE could of stayed at the top level for a longer time like Cristiano Ronaldo but I don't think Ronaldinho had a strong enough work ethic.  He still has one of the best compilation videos on youtube.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting odds, which do you prefer? on: July 08, 2019, 01:13:46 PM
If the odds makers do their job right *they usually do) all bets will have the same expected return overtime.  MY personal preference is to bet on the underdogs and go for those high risk/ high reward plays.
269  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: July 08, 2019, 01:09:32 PM
I don't understand the people going all in on bitcoin, doesn't make sense unless you are a high risk gambler.  Gold usually doesn't outperform stocks but it is a good hedge in case of a crash.  On a side note, don't forget that more gold gets mined every year so it is not really deflationary.
270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious question about Bitcoin. Is it a reliable and stable investment? on: July 08, 2019, 01:04:36 PM
As much as I like bitcoin I would never recommend someone to put their retirement money into btc.  Bitcoin is very young compared to traditional investments like stocks and bonds.  It could crash to nothing in the future,  if they already have a good amount of money there is no need to get greedy and risk it.

272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I need some advice on setting up a crypto casino on: July 04, 2019, 01:30:11 AM
What functions do you consider necessary on the site?
Describe the perfect crypto casino for the player in your opinion.
Let me save you some trouble. Don't open a crypto casino now. There are tons of well known casino out there. The market competition is quite high. Why would someone join a new casino and trust that casino despite their being other reputed casinos? You should be providing something new and exclusive feather that other casino don't have.

Sounds like someone that is trying to discourage competition.  Casino business is one of the easiest industries to be in, it is always a guaranteed profit after enough time.  Doesn't take much to build trust, players are hungry to gamble and will use the first one you throw in their face.
273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the safest way to protect youre bitcoin? on: July 04, 2019, 01:26:01 AM
Brain wallet would be the superior option because no one could ever find any physical copy of your key, this is assuming you have a functioning brain that won't forget what the words are in the future.  Your brain can't be hacked or stolen.
274  Other / Meta / Re: Open appreciation, achievement of Hero rank on: July 04, 2019, 01:20:36 AM
We get enough of these posts, did you really need to brag about obtaining a forum rank?  If some of you merit hunters put that same type of effort into the real world you could already be millionaires.

I often forget that merit is even thing, don't even pay attention to it usually.  Just encourages people to play favorites.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 04, 2019, 01:16:12 AM
Teams aren't loyal so it is no surprise that they got ride of Andre Iguodola.  People think the Lakers were loyal to Kobe by letting him retire a Laker but the only reason they did that is because he was still filling up the seats in Staples Center.  People don't pay to come watch Iggy play and he is an aging player.
276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: July 04, 2019, 01:13:25 AM
The question of risk in cryptocurrency sounds strange.  First of all, the cryptocurrency rice is that it does not have stable prices and every trader and investor, if he does not have certain experience, can always lose her money.

Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto currency. That means no one control the price of it like the fiats that is controlled and printed by the government. The government dictates the price of fiat while the investors, the market dictates the price of crypto currencies. It is volatile because with a lot of people using it and selling it.

Bitcoin is still heavily controlled by a small group of whales.  You would have to be a fool to not think this market isn't manipulated.  Additionally we have tether printed that may not even be backed by enough USD to also push the price up.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Relation To Bitcoin Cash on: July 03, 2019, 04:55:38 PM
The smart move would be to invest in both coins.  BCH is still performing very well and it is easier for lower marketcap coins to pump because of the lower economic mass.  It is even more volatile than Bitcoin, it already did a 6x from the yearly low while bitcoin only did a 4x.
278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Warning to third party smartphone keyboard users. on: July 03, 2019, 04:53:04 PM
Not surprised at all, at this point you need to assume anything you type, search, copy&paste, say, location, etc will be tracked and recorded when you are on a device connected to the internet.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think? [subject edited to avoid people replying only to the subject] on: July 03, 2019, 04:49:16 PM
If this were to happen a new crypto would have to be created to give everyone a fair shot at the launch.  Bitcoin is already massively skewed towards the whales with very few people in the world even own 1/10th of a coin.  Barely anyone knew about BTC at the start, may as well call it a premine.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 03, 2019, 04:43:42 PM
I guess if we are going to talk about specific contract deals, if he could have signed with Denver he could have saved a lot more as well.

I think it was Denver but I am not sure where one state has such a low state tax that you could literally save tons from just being based there. Almost all digital companies were starting out there "digitally" because they were actually based somewhere else but wanted to pay less taxes.

11 million dollars is a lot of money for all of us and that includes Kawhi too because money is money and Scottie Pippen who was second man to Jordan actually went broke, same with Iverson, so 11 million dollars is always a decent amount of money. However, it is over the course of 4 years and he could make a ton of money in any other way to close the gap if he wants to. I still hope he goes to Lakers but I doubt the reason will be extra 11 million dollars.

Pippen and Iverson are far from broke.  They are known as "rich people broke" meaning they still have millions in assets.  Believe me, they are richer than 99.9% of people still.

Once your at that level of wealth 11 million extra dollars won't convince you because at that point more money is just diminishing returns, you start looking for other things like a good playing environment and a chance to win more rings.
