261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stefan Mandel hits the lottery jackpot 14 times and left the commission panicks on: February 18, 2024, 08:55:02 AM

He was bankrupt in the end though. The rules were changed because of what he had done which looks like not really cheating but just bulk-buying tickets with every possible combination.

I guess he used his money to pay the lawyers for years fighting the case. I think if you win the lottery for once in your life, you shouldn't try your luck again because if you win again, the CIA and FBI will investigate you for winning again.

On his case. He is not really trying his luck but rather using math to earn profit on a supposed luck based game. It’s sad reality that he ended bankruptcy despite he is just calculated betting without any form of cheating since he literally cover all the possible outcome.

I’m still confused why he needs to face legal battle for cheating accusations while lottery is cheat proof game because the draw is live especially if Stefan doesn’t have any connections inside.
262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stefan Mandel hits the lottery jackpot 14 times and left the commission panicks on: February 17, 2024, 04:26:47 PM
there is a thread posted about this guy, I also read on an article and posted on that thread on how he supposedly managed to win 14 times on the lottery (I am quoting the supposed step by step on how he did it below).

Here's the 6-step formula for how Mandel managed to make serious cash from the lottery

1. Calculate the total number of possible combinations. (For a lottery that requires you to pick six numbers from 1 to 40, that means 3,838,380 combinations.)

2.Find lotteries where the jackpot is three times or more the number of possible combinations.

3.Raise enough cash to pay for each combination. (Mandel rounded up 2,524 investors for his push to win the Virginia lottery.)

4.Print out millions of tickets with every combination. (This used to be legal. Now you would have to buy the tickets right from the store.)

5.Deliver the tickets to authorized lottery dealers.

6.Win the cash. And don't forget to pay your investors. (Mandel pocketed $97,000 after a $1.3 million win in 1987.)

I was thinking the same in able to do this kind of multiple win on a lottery. Lottery commissioner is just dumb enough to investigate on this since they don’t any rules to limit the number of ticket a person can hold.
Besides, the jackpot prize was supposed to be distributed anyway whoever won which I’m confused why the lottery commissioner consider this as problem on their side assuming that they are not in loss if same user won using a sure bet strategy.

The only danger on this strategy is when there is multiple winner that will split the prize. Like what happened on PH lottery that bunch of players won the jackpot.  Cheesy

263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏀 ⛹🏾 🚀 Winning.pub 'AI Black Box' picks on: February 17, 2024, 03:09:41 PM

Utah Jazz - Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors -4 AH @ 2.32 at BetFury.io

This is the only pick that won out of 4 pick that you made. It’s starting to become less efficient now. I just hope that you will still come back for more tipster as this 2.0+ odds is indeed great once you get the sweet spot on picks.

I just notice the inactivity right after the result of this pick. Just continue this thread instead of creating new thread with different brand if ever the reason of being inactive is the efficiency. Hoping you are well.
264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's The Weirdest Alibi Of Gamblers So They Can Continue Gambling? on: February 17, 2024, 03:04:33 PM
I also had came across this one friend that says I feel so lucky but the truth is that the luck he had is quiet random and I don't see it as an assurance for him telling me that he is that lucky and that's what make him hold on to that belief and that keeps him on placing bets.

Luck is always subjective but I do sometimes gamble because I’m feeling lucky just like your friend. Actually, it’s a good reason to gamble because it only shows that you are optimistic to win in gambling at that point. We are all relying to luck in able to win on a pure luck based game so I don’t see the point of invalidating “I’m feeling lucky” as reason to play.

I’m frequently winning when I’m feeling this when gambling compared to when I play just for killing time. Luck is something that you can but very hard to describe. Lol
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 11:13:33 AM
From my opinion, I think there isn’t any need to stake or risk one’s money on a game simply because you want to catch fun when you could simply not risk your money and still have fun while watching same game.
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?

This is correct perspective for me. There’s a lot of available games which you can get same entertainment without any involvement of money. Gambling without money involved is just a regular game. People enjoy gambling because of the potential for the risk they are taking. It’s impossible to enjoy gambling without considering having profit because it’s just a regular game that you can find on every game center apps.

For me, I’m gambling with the intention to make money. There’s nothing wrong with it since that’s the reality. It’s only wrong if you rely solely on gambling to generate income instead of doing a job that will give you consistent profit without any risk involved.
266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Token refund scam? on: February 17, 2024, 11:01:26 AM

Am I being scammed?
Is it even possible to get a "refund" after you purchased these tokens?

99.99% this is a scam if you receive an offer to a random guy that PM you on telegram. There’s no service to manually withdraw your funds from the wallet who already received your payment. The blockchain only records and processes your transactions but there’s no way to retrieve funds if you don’t hold the private key or recovery seed of that specific wallet address.

I’m not familiar with Retik.com but you should always choose trusted launchpad next time to avoid being scam such as Bluezilla and other popular DeFi platform that offers launchpad.
267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 16, 2024, 03:21:56 PM
Green cause a lot of trouble to them and they really need to think good adjustment for it so that it cannot disturb them since his stints create toxicity on their teak that can affect his teammate. He's really good on defense but what he perform is out of the box and their team will always suffer with those wrong decisions he made inside the court. If they struggle to contain them and think about play pure basketball without getting much into troubles then much better if they think about find a replacement since I think this is best for them. They need to move some of their player so that they can possibly get more better result. GSW really need a great change since their current line up is not working anymore so they should explore and find another good player that listen to them so can be more effective or more competitive to other teams.

Green has been part of the success of the Warriors when they still dominate the league, it was the big 3 ( Green, Curry and Thompson), they were winning championship already before Durant came. So I know the management and his temmates knows him very well, they might not have a perfect player for the team, but if they'lle evaluate, Draymond is more of an asset than being a liability.

Exactly, I believe haters will not acknowledge Green contribution but without him Warriors is a defenseless team. His tactics of triggering other players through his aggressive moves makes other team lose focus because they become distracted on getting back to Green leaving Splash brothers free to do their role. I really doubt they will kick Green because he is more valuable on defense than Looney as center.

I think the main problem of GSW right now is Klay Thompson is very cold and not performing the expectation to him which is dealing a lot of points like Curry still doing right now.
268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bons Telegram | 5000$ Prize Pool Tournament for Bitcointalkers Exclusively on: February 16, 2024, 02:49:23 PM
How the tournament is exclusive to Bitcointalk user while you are not asking username of Bitcointalk as main requirements to participate. I just hope that this tournament will be real exclusive to forum user.

I’m always hesitant to join on this kind of tournament since some casino use some bot and insider account to compete that’s why exclusive forum tournaments is the best because you can guarantee that you are competing to real user. Anyway welcome to the forum. I will try to use the bonus code and send my feedback after.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 16, 2024, 01:12:09 PM
Think about the situation from following point: what is the age when a person is allowed to work and operate with money? I think with parents allowance, kids from 14 are allowed to have a none 8h working day. If I am not mistaken, they can work 4 or 6 hours. And in my country I think starting from 16 they are allowed to operate with money (cash desk, terminal). This refers to kids at summer selling ice cream. If from 14 or 16 they are allowed to earn officially, why wouldnt they be allowed to gamble? Isnt it wrong that they can not decide themselves what they can do with money they earned? Moreover, if we take +18 as a starting point, then a person at any age above it can make a reckless bet. So it isnt only about reckless, unexperienced, innocent and trustful kid and gambling.

I think he is just using the +18 age because that’s the average legal age globally but anyone can gamble even lower 18 if that is the legal age set of the country. There’s a country that has a legal age below 18 which means gambling is allowed already for them.

But if you are pertaining to underage that just have a temporary work due to side hustle job then I disagree since it’s illegal even if they earn own money. Law will always govern even if you are earning your own money through job.

271  Economy / Economics / Re: Step up your game before the game steps you down. on: February 16, 2024, 11:47:18 AM

As the economy is getting worst it is difficult for a responsible adult to go to bed without planning on how to grow his business or how to attract new customers, not just new though but potential customers and business partners that will have big influence in his business. Time waits for no man. Yes, the life is filled with ups and down, but we won't stop trying so that we can have that impact on the existence of man just like how other nerds have done.

I think it depends on what kind of business you have since daily necessities such as food and other needed services will surely keep going on despite recession since people will need to buy it as it is their priority.

Stepping up your bonus during recession while your business is directly affected might cause you a huge loss since your fix cost might not be covered by your profit since buying power of your customers will be lesser.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏀 ⛹🏾 🚀 Winning.pub 'AI Black Box' picks on: February 09, 2024, 02:30:32 PM
Again, two games:

Philadelphia 76ers - Dallas Mavericks
Dallas Mavericks -4 AH @ 2.20 at BetFury.io

New Orleans Pelicans - Toronto Raptors
New Orleans Pelicans -12 AH @ 2.14 at BetFury.io

Our expectations are Raptors to be slow today after yesterday's marathon.

Good luck! Smiley

I manage to place a bet on this and won both picks. I notice that the recent pick is not performing well probably due to a much riskier pick due to high odds. I was offline in past few days that makes me lucky to dodge the bullet here.

I’m expecting to have more quality picks for tomorrow. I hope you will stick to your style on choosing a closer to 2.0 odds pick.  Wink
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏀 ⛹🏾 🚀 Winning.pub 'AI Black Box' picks on: February 05, 2024, 04:43:35 PM
Just two games at this point:

Miami Heat - Los Angeles Clippers Clippers
Los Angeles Clippers Clippers -6 AH @ 2.20 at Wolf.bet

Oklahoma City Thunder - Toronto Raptors
Toronto Raptors +7.5 AH @ 2.04 at Stake.com

Raptors... OT and half a point...  Shocked

Still on the plus side because of the high odds Cheesy

I watch this game due to your pick. I never thought that Raptors can give a hard time on OKC that result to double overtime. I was supposed to place a bet on your pick but I’m discouraged since I knew OKC is very strong now while Raptors is just meh. Seriously your pick is awesome even though Raptors can’t cover the spread by just 1 point.

-Snip-

Thanks, will update with stats, FAQ, etc.

The 'AI Black Box' is fed will all the latest social posts around every team, news, etc. and and confirming or opposing our picks.
For example, yesterday selected 6 games, but left with only two.

More games - tonight Smiley

Thanks for the explanation. I finally have a grasp on how you come up on this pick. Waiting for tonights pick. I will try to parlay it with minimal bet.

Hello Bitcointalk Community,

Is there any exclusive promotion for Bitcointalk users for the coming Super Bowl aside from the fantasy games? Hoping that promotion will be something like free spin for those who place a bet on super bowl just like the old times format of Duelbits promotion.
275  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: February 05, 2024, 02:13:28 PM
Good news guys. You can now bet on 1x2 Football on Bitcasino through the Bombay live games category. Just look for the football icon on the side while playing any live games on Bombay lobby. This feature although just the simple version makes Bitcasino have a mini sportsbook.

BTW who’s grinding now for the daily 20USDT free spin on the anniversary promotion of Bitcasino? I’m using Play’n Go games now to grind wager from slot since they have high hit ratio. What slot games do you think is perfect fro grinding wager in a less volatile way?
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 05, 2024, 01:12:41 PM
Those who are addicted to gambling and still experience loss as the major status of their bet result are like to become violent if they cannot control their emotions. Losing more than winning has a way of changing our mood normally, so it's your ability to control your emotions that determine how professional you are with gambling, those who gamble often without having issues with their families have learnt how to control their emotions. But majority of gamblers who are addicts are violent especially when they just finish Loosing their bets.

This is only true to those gamblers that don’t know how to limit their bankroll. Responsible Gambling should be read before a gambler starts gambling on any casino. Being violent after losing only shows that they can’t afford to lose the amount that they using for gambling.

I experienced a lot of losses in the past even brutal consecutive losses without any single win but I’m not reacting violently because I’m okay to lose that money since that is just a small part of my salary that I can recover easily on my next salary. Gambler should start learning to consider losses as payment for entertainment so that they will not react immaturely when in lose.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investment in gambling on: February 05, 2024, 12:53:01 PM

This is the level States of mind this gambling space has inspired and aspired me to risks bearing. By so doing, I undertake this circumstances to be an investment because it has the potential to yield incomes and otherwise, it is accompanied with a gambling system because it comes with some analytical mindsets with indictments of greeds if not in control of your emotions. So, you either not invest with what you can't afford to loose or you faces emotional breakdowns.

This is my exploit and diverse in gambling of chasing profits.

Yeah Ponzi is considered as investment but dumb investment since you are investing on scammer hoping that they will pay you before they shutdown the scheme. This kind of investment is not even worthy to be categorized as risky since it’s an obvious scam scheme so it’s better to threat it as lost investment already.

Your being exposed to risk due to gambling seems like gives you a bad take on how to approach risk. You should avoid extremely ponzi scheme now that you experience gambling risk since you keep losing even if you have a chance to win on gambling while ponzi doesn’t give you any room to profit.

I was introduced to this forum by a brother five months ago and I always call him to ask questions about the do's and don't's of this forum but I think it's high time I started asking the right questions here by myself, hence this post.

I've made almost a hundred posts and yet I have only few merit, what am I doing wrong? Are my posts not quality enough? If yes, please I need corrections and guidelines to grow my account. I truly need words of encouragement and affirmation that am on the right track to enable me step up in the game and I also need you guys to help me point out some of my posts that aren't so good, if there are any, so I can learn from my mistakes and do better.

You already get 6 merits on some of your post which means there’s already a guide for you on what’s to do next to receive. You are only posting on B&H and your local board which means your post has less exposure to be find by merit source/sender.

I suggest to keep contributing on your local board and to other board which you are good at and report your unmerited post that you think deserves a merit to merit source threads. You can’t expect to earn a merit every time you post since you are still newbie. Better to focus on your local board contribution since your board has a very good merit to post ratio and has an active merit source.

You can use the reserve post on the first reply of this thread to summarize your bets outcome. You include stats such as winning percentage and total bet counts somthat viewers can easily catchup to your progress.

I’ve been following you since your first prediction and I’m still waiting for more tipster result before I will start trusting your predictions. Your tips is not that bad either so you already got my interest on following your prediction.

Can you share more how this “AI Black Box” work? How can it verify a tipster bet as potential win result in able to approve it?
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: February 04, 2024, 05:09:52 PM
No matter how much we call gambling as a part of entertainment, those who have been dealing with gambling here for a long time will find that it is not entertainment but an addiction to it. According to me if a gambler wants to conduct gambling within limits then he should conduct gambling in less time.

This is only according to you. Just joking. You’ve just make me laugh by using the word according while referring to yourself. It’s not necessary to use that if you are posting your own opinion.

Quote
I have never seen anyone gambling for a specific time in gambling but I think if a gambler manages 2 hours of gambling that is enough. Those who gamble for more than 2 hours are more likely to become addicted.

I disagree on this. Although exposure on gambling is the usual cause for addiction but this is not always the case. I gamble more than 2 hours but only during weekends and I never become a gambling addict. I consume more time on my gambling because I play slow using small bets. This opinion of yours is not always true but maybe for some.
