2621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Facts about gambling addiction on: November 26, 2021, 10:30:07 AM
9. The last gambling addiction fact to remember is that compulsive gambling does not mean that you are a weak person. Many people who have become problem gamblers are very successful and are seen by others as strong and intelligent people.
Could be good if there's some data regarding this, I'm interested to know more about this facts especially those who got into gambling addiction yet manage to get successful in life, that's more kind of facts that are totally motivating.
2622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 26, 2021, 05:52:11 AM
It's likely an even match for both fighters if we consider the stats. Well, I'm rooting for my fellow countrymen, that shouldn't be bias afaik. Grin

Ancajas, one of Philippines longest reigning champion, will go for his 10th title defense of his IBF. So this will big as we will have to witnessed another Filipino boxer before the end of the year with Ancajas going to Japan and fight Ioka.

After so many years months, we finally can see Jerwin Ancajas fight again in the ring. It's just frustrating to note that sean Gibbons seems to be having a hard time securing a fight for Pretty Boy Ancajas. Talent-wise, he is the next big thing in the Philippines in boxing I think but the inactivity is somewhat pulling the champ down but the good thing with him is that he doesn't say anything about his situation in social media, unlike Casimero.

Him and Donnie Nietes are the most underrated Filipino champion we have right now. It's either Sean Gibbons is not doing his job as MP promotions or Filipinos are being low-ball in the boxing industries. I do hope that his inactivity and ring rush will not affect him that much because he is facing a very dangerous opponent here. This fight has been in talks since October if I'm not mistaken so pretty much Ancajas though is ready and has been mentally preparing for this fight for a long time.

I kinda agree on this one. Ancajas has always been so underrated even in the Philippines. I think both the promotion and the Filipinos in general was the root cause why Ancajas became underrated.
I though Ancajas will fight he's next rumoured opponent Estrada. Because that's what the fans loves to see.
That Rodriguez fight was a slugfest, but I think an Estrada fight going against Ancajas would be a much better match.

I have no idea who this Japanese guy is, but I hope he's really good that will potentially gives the fans a helluvah fight.
He's sorta kind of a fellow to be low key but he got that tremendous power to be honest and that 10th title defense isn't to be taken lightly, he's likely to defend what should be to him. Ioka will surely have a difficulty to prove those knockouts number he has. This isn't just to burst the bubble rooting for Ioka but I guess the odds is on Ancajas.
2623  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you make money day trading Bitcoin? on: November 26, 2021, 04:44:11 AM
Am not sure if Bitcoin is still profitable for Day Trading , yet altcoin is what we need to use in able to make money in trading.

Fast moving coin is what we need for daily use as tools in trading , while bitcoin is only good for long term or Holding .
I guess it is especially those derivatives that lets you earn Bitcoin as the currency, I guess most right now are in USDT or other alts and stablecoins but not that familiar these days if there are derivatives that lets you earn Bitcoin. Other traders who book their profit from day trading altcoins tend to convert them later on Bitcoin, they really take it as a store of value, I've seen some YouTubers that does it.
2624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: government's traditional laws can't handle Gambling+cryptos on: November 25, 2021, 09:10:56 PM
Now they cannot question cryptocurrencies, they cannot question gambling, the laws needs a serious reform. But I somehow feel like the government will again bend this down and make this the probelm of cryptocurrencies and not them.

What do you think about this particular article??
Doubt if they can cope with it this time but I think what they can do was only mitigation processes and warnings as stated in the article. I wonder how traditional laws will stay like this but it seems the government should have a tremendous change as well in the leadership before we can say they will be able to adapt of this ever changing novel products in gambling, the only question is when will that happen. Leaders who knows the in and outs of crypto and gambling.
2625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Explain to me about Matic Ups these days on: November 25, 2021, 01:19:15 PM
I want to know how to predict Matic to this date. I knew that its going to pump high today but I exit too soon.
That's just some newbie thing I guess, being worried about sudden change in price even for just a slight. It just doesn't make some sense if you know it will pump and suddenly you haven't hold it. You should have an exit strategy and not just you feel you should have then you'll let go, avoid this kind of mistakes especially in trading, trading behaviors has significant impact on how you trade.
2626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: November 25, 2021, 10:42:45 AM
I think is coming real soon. In fact unless the platforms that develop the metaverses actually ban users, it is only natural that games flow into the metaverses as well as competitions, and with that the need to make them "more interesting", so whether it is officially or by means of other creating overlays to circumvent the likely bans, betting is going to happen. Heck, this is even a business model that could be a new ground for start-ups.

For those who doubt, metaverses are already there, Second life, Roblox and even games - well known ones like Fortnite - are metaverses.
Yes they already existed and for the gambling to take part in it would just be a matter of time for the startups. Doubts are part of a growing industry and this has been proven many times but if Metaverse really make an impact I think it will be successful, we are totally getting digital and we can't deny this fact. Zuckerberg's promoting was just part of an incoming snowball effect, that's my two cents.
2627  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 25, 2021, 04:21:32 AM
I wonder if it will still be the same presale as before.

Most likely yes or they'll probably skip this and let everyone purchase it at the public sale with no discount at all because Rollbit has proven that their NFT is quite valuable with alot of utility
If they can give a discount for new members and apply another discount for existing holders, that can give them to invite new holders to invest in their token and that means, they can hope to achieve their goals.
Their NFT can be valuable but without giving something to attract new people to join, it will not get a big impact on their NFT because the public will not know more details about their NFT unless the public ask them in their channel.
I guess that's more fair or even better if there's some kind of new referral campaign where people can get a piece of rewards from the sales, something like that. I think this time it will remain pretty valuable I'm having a feeling that whales will end up to take over it, that's my two cents.

Maybe they need more public information regarding this and hoping others can participate in it as well like minting a not so expensive NFT.
Rollbit isnt active in this forum so the only way to get the latest information regarding this is through twitter or discord. As for the price of the NFT, it doesnt really matter at all as long as nobody sell it below the guaranteed floor price. If you buy at $1000 and no one list below it then its still good rather than having a NFT that is listed below the minting price
If they can be active in this forum, that will help new investors who came across on this forum to ask many things before they can invest in their NFT.
Hopefully, there will be another explanation about their plan to the public because that can be the way to attract more investors for them.
I guess they'll focus more on twitter where shill is probably huge compare here, it's easy to do it there. I know this forum shouldn't be taken lightly but it got different feels if we are speaking about twitter, and I agree with arallmuus.
2628  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 24, 2021, 09:38:17 PM
^^^^ Just wow! I think this still gonna be demanded by the community since the hype isn't over yet, I wonder if it will still be the same presale as before. Maybe they need more public information regarding this and hoping others can participate in it as well like minting a not so expensive NFT. Sportsbook is kinda hype to be honest.
2629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: November 24, 2021, 02:41:19 PM
When Bitcoin moves 95% alts dumped. BTC moves up or down, Alts goes down. where we invest and no one can predict the market movement.
The more reason for you to have more BTC compare to alts when you want to diversify your own portfolio. I guess have 70% Bitcoin and most of the alts would compose only 30% of the overall portfolio. Bitcoin should be the utmost important since it's the most liquid asset in the market.
2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 24, 2021, 10:46:15 AM
I read some articles that DeRozan is already ranked at number 3.

The ranking was

1. Curry,
2. Durant
3. DeRozan

What do you think about this, is it reliable based on the stats of DeRozan and the impact on the team?
I like to get your thoughts on this as I would try to put a bet on DeRozan to win.
You happen to bookmarked the article? I think there are explanations regarding how the writer manage to rank him in the third. I wonder how DeRozan ended on that mark though since I can't see his name from this stats on https://www.nba.com/stats/players/. I guess if it's on the impact of the game to his team, I partly agree on that. What do you mean to win? MVP race? I think there are still plenty of time for him to show it off.
2631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Floki Inu price (40 million tokens) disappeared from my wallet Binance Coin on: November 24, 2021, 05:58:57 AM
PEOPLE, HELPAAA! I bought 40,430,000 Price Floki Inu (40 million tokens) THROUGH Pancakeswap that went to my Binance Chain Wallet (connected via Chrome). It had an increase of 121,989.91%. I yelled at my wife: "We made a fortune!!" and when I opened my wallet there was 48,424,570.7 Prince Floki, that is, 0.1% of the amount purchased !!!!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Huh
What a vague statement this was. It doesn't connect most of it to be perfectly honest, you bought it and you check that it was there but what really comes next? Actually I doubt if you can get help right here with this statement with no other supporting details other people to follow, maybe you should work on that one first.
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting online cockfight has become the new pandemic on: November 23, 2021, 09:54:01 PM
Losing a fortune in the cockfighting isn't new in the Philippines as far as I knew it and even if it hasn't gone online we already heard some news regarding that. I don't know if this could be more deep to lead on abolishing the entire cockfighting industry but as far as I'm concern there's not much to go on that direction, this industry likely to be right here for awhile even in decades to come.

You are absolutely right. This kind of spectacular and brutal fighting is already so deep in the Filipino blood that even if cockfighting were to be banned by law, it would still only take place away from the eyes of law enforcement. The authorities can't just cut this tradition out of the life of the Filipino people.
If its already part of the tradition then this is something that cant really get rid off because people would really be finding ways for them to make bets even if its means on doing underground and actually helding

those occasions wont really be that hard even though this thing do involves huge crowd based up on what i had researched and now we are on a pandemic on which health protocol should be imposed then it wont
really be allowed on the first place. So it is quite clever that they gone through online cockfight which do solves out the issue or problem on which this is a way on where they could make out bets
without trying to violate something.
More on like part of the culture already, it even existed even during the pre-Spanish era (others may disagree with me but this was just base on my research), it already existed hundred of years now. I think it wouldn't be avoided because if you are into Provinces you'd likely to expect a cockfight scene to be held during fiesta celebrations and even if it isn't permitted these gamblers will find a way not to take any hindrances.

Yes, that's the mitigation they provided, if they can't opress these violations on health protocols then better to do it online but with permissions from the government, as far as I know this is handled by PAGCOR especially the one available at GCASH (one of countries trusted mobile wallet and branchless banking service). Not new as I use this couple of times before and I just lie low due to nature of my work but this is more like a past time on my end. I guess the online cockfighting solve some issues here but if grade as bad for sure it is, since it's gamble, but it's fairly subjective to every individual if I'd be the one being asked.
2633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is it to invest in Bitcoin in the current situation? on: November 23, 2021, 09:08:58 PM
Well, if it's just investing I guess you can try to DCA from here or even it goes lower, an investor wouldn't mind I guess. Progress doesn't come monotonically as if it's always rising, beware that this is still an speculative asset in the first place and progress may a little bit bumpy for most short term individuals.
2634  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Rollbit.com | Signature Campaign | Full Members+ ~ Earn up to $80/Week! on: November 23, 2021, 07:41:50 PM
Anyway, for ranked up participants. Do we have to PM Hhampuz for that or Hhampuz will auto update it? I know there is no slot but just a move up ASAP next number as shown in SS.
If you got that "Move up ASAP" that means you're the top priority if there's an open position in the higher rank. I think you don't have to DM anymore, you're already good afaik.

2636  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto 101 by BSP on: November 23, 2021, 04:07:47 AM

Grin
2637  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto 101 by BSP on: November 22, 2021, 09:59:37 PM
Wow level up pero as said by mk4 dapat balance din pero maiba lang ako kasi I attended the same expo from BSP way back in my college days around 2015 ata or 2016 pero wala pang crypto na discussion noon. Dito rin kasi ako na engganyo sa expo na ito in regards to investments pero kung noong una na explain or slightly discussed nila yung crypto baka marami sana silang natulungan na mga early investors. It's fun may mga activities sila diyan, well, at that time yung hinabol namin ng mga classmates ko ay yung certificate talaga. Grin
2638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ($LINK) Chainlink Price Prediction on: November 22, 2021, 09:40:45 PM
But if we think of it for the long term this coin has really have the huge potential. I'm into twitter and I don't think it's being shilled but I guess something is being brewed. Here's a tweet on who recognized Chainlink e.g. AccuWeather, Associated Press, AWS, and World Economic Forum just few huge names using or partnering Chainlink.

Technically, yes, it's likely bad but if we look at it fundamentally it's really not that sounded sour in my opinion. I guess it could touch that ATH again or break it but I really not expecting this year alone for that though.
2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 22, 2021, 02:39:17 PM
I agree that Lebron didn't meant what was done and there is no intention behind it.
But, he pulled his arm way too strong when there should be no contact that should happen. It's like Stewart just needs someone to hold unto when Drummond box him out. It's his fault in the first place that's why Stewart acted that far.
I am reading some NBA player comments and some of them are hilarious.  Grin One of them is from Gilbert Arenas.

<snip>
I can't find his Twitter account though. This is just circling around everywhere.
Seen this one as well but nah, it wasn't on twitter it's from his Instagram account and twitter wouldn't allow that block of texts from one single post. The post was really that hilarious and some NBA players right now was like getting some more popcorn. He has some caption on it "Gone in 60 seconds".

Here's Gilbert Arenas Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/no.chill.gil/
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 22, 2021, 01:50:46 PM
I think these dirty style plays from LeBron are going to become more and more common as his aging lowers his play level to be below some of the young guys in the league. I don’t he’s going to have an easy time adjusting to him not being the most dominant player on the court. When I start seeing stuff like that, it makes me think he should start considering retirement before he cheapens his legacy.
I agree if these dirty games from him keep on going on. He should've settled and retired and that's better for his reputation. I hope that he goes better with his next games.
Because if not and this continues, there's something wrong with it. It's just surprising to see that someone like him goes on rage and it's very unusual watching him being like that.
Guys, LeBron has only been ejected 2 times only, all the other dirty plays he did were either mild or he simply got away, I'm not a LeBron fan but he's not a dirty player, call him more of a flopper when the NBA were stupid enough to make those calls, but I really think he deserved to be ejected. may it be because of the heat of the game but you can see how irritated he was when he elbow punched Isaiah Stewart, the Lake show got the win anyways and I got my bet just right thanks to Russ.
I tend to agree, this just been some escalating moment but it does mean LBJ will be treated like he was a dirty player, which he isn't. He even tried to make an apology on what just happen if we tried to watch the clip on different angles, he kinda sorry on that. Was retirement really the solution, I guess not for God's sake, that shouldn't be if he can still play and his body can still handle it then let him play, I don't think he's below on the young guys.
