Just to review the situation concerning Cryptsy, did they simply stop talking about their Prime Controller in the end?

IIRC it was pointed out to them that operating a Prime Controller did nothing to 'support the network', as they claimed, any more than an ordinary staking wallet would do, but did they get to duck out of the conversation after that point?

Then when calamity hits this kind of person, and he is forced to believe something, he literally goes crazy, because he isn't familiar with believing. Then he commits suicide and doesn't exist any longer.

Just so you know, not that you will ever understand because your conditioning is so deeply ingrained into your psyche there is no other you that exists outside of the 'special' paranormal narrative you believe yourself to be living in, calamitous events are actually easier to cope with as an atheist because we understand that it is all cause-and-effect action/reaction which resulted in the calamitous event, not that some mythical super-being decided that day to fuck with us, you know, because he loves us so or is teaching us something or [insert arbitrary reasoning to excuse your god here].

Scrypt.cc's in a phase of speculation. KHS prices will rise and drop with little sight in pattern until the new rates are reflected. Then it'll likely adjust prices around the ROI period and all will be well.

Sell if you want. Buy if you want. Scrypt.cc like everything financial is a gamble. You may lose, you may win. I for one am taking this gamble. It's quite exciting.

Yeah I see your referral links to multiple 'cloud mining' ponzi schemes in your post history.

So you're trying to fly the, "Hey, life's a gamble . . . etc. etc." bullshit excuse? Which part of a fraudulent scheme pretending to not be the fractional mining/ponzi it actually is represents a reasonable gamble? Is it the part where you might be able to exit with a profit while the vast majority of suckers who actually believe it to be a legitimate operation, albeit contrary to ridiculously obvious signs all around them, will  end up losing their funds?

just you wait for cryptosaran or w/e his name was to tell you all that you are wrong, and u all will lose your money and its a scam and a ponzi and a drug dealing business and man tarfficking etc.

fuck the haters ! long live scrypt.cc

LOL, hey sockpuppet, pro-tip: At least make the effort to post in other threads before you go rushing to the scam thread you are desperately promoting, it makes it so tediously obvious when the puppeteer's first post on a brand new account is a blatant incitement to 'buy moarnomnomnom' etc.

But even whith all the disadvantages a religion may have, I think mankind would be chaos without having something to believe...

I believe Vod has clearly asserted the truth in that regards:

Quote from: Vod
You'd be amazed at the peace of mind you get when you realize you don't have to believe in anything.  You can just exist.

We don't need religious death-cults and their 'magical' symbolism and rituals to find joy in living. This video, for example, fills me with joy and wonder yet I am absolutely able to understand the principles of flight enough that there is no mystery behind what you are watching, but it is still awe inspiring.

No 'mysticism' needed.

I guess your lack of ability to properly construct a reasoned rebuttal to the scrypt.cc scam accusations would suggest that you also have no idea the BTC address you have posted in your profile tells an extremely interesting tale about you.

18hmMKrt4Nhf2gYdgVutXqS3q1729Hupv1
https://blockchain.info/address/18hmMKrt4Nhf2gYdgVutXqS3q1729Hupv1?offset=250&filter=0

Whilst the address itself appears somewhat unremarkable, with a small number of transactions, the onwards payment addresses are fascinating.

This one you pay to is the scrypt.cc address: https://blockchain.info/de/address/1HWqsgnSd12Gv8SpoUMi1Cj8hp79BTSpW7

An easier layout allows you to see the incoming and outgoing payments a bit easier: https://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1HWqsgnSd12Gv8SpoUMi1Cj8hp79BTSpW7?page=1729

Which also makes an appearance on something called 3W Ponzi: http://3wponzi.net16.net/

All what you say is false.
Your dream is to be a policeman so learn to respect the law. Stop your lies
Of course you have a competing site but you have removed your signature

We are users of scrypt.cc and we don't need help. We don't need new users. We don't need promotion.

I made 6 X ROI I must wait how many months to be scammed

So people " STAY AWAY FORM SCRYT.CC WE DON'T NEED YOU  LISTEN TO cryptodevil THE POLICEMAN OF BCT "

But if you want money you're welcome. In 15 days you will earn 3 X more khs is cheap at the moment.
If you prefer, listen to the policeman and stay away, we don't matter.

LMAO!

1. Simply stating, "All what [sic] you say is false" does not qualify as a valid rebuttal.
2. The term, "Grammar Police" is a humorous label to use when one is often found sufficiently annoyed by other people's use of poor grammar as to feel inclined to correct them. It is nothing to do with the field of Law Enforcement, nor is it, as you laughably claim, indicative of a person's desire to actually be in Law Enforcement.

and finally:

3. Your allegation that I have a competing site, but that I have removed my signature is simply an outright lie although, given that you are so vociferously defending the scam site you support, your dishonesty does not surprise me.

2628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: May 17, 2015, 09:56:53 AM
FFS, why are you still here?  You avatar says "Grammer Police" . . .
so, enlighten me if you don't mind.

Firstly, it is 'Grammar Police', secondly, because it is the right thing to do. If you'd care to actually take the time to note the content of my posts, as opposed to simply responding to such with shill-tastic hatred and ad-hominem, you will see I have actually presented a reasonable basis for asserting scrypt.cc to be a fraudulent operation.

I have nothing to gain personally from doing so, but that seems to be some sort of bizarre notion to you. This would suggest you are not a decent human being at all.

In my time here at BCT, I have also exposed a number of altcoin scams and hacking/phishing schemes. That I am countering the slew of 'happy happy joy joy' routinely being posted in this thread, with reasoned position expressing the likelihood that scrypt.cc is a ponzi/fractional mining scheme, does not make me the bad guy. Your rage and frustration at me doing so is not considered a rebuttal, therefore my position still stands.

2629  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 17, 2015, 09:48:05 AM
I believe in corporal punishment of children at the proper time, in the proper way, and for proper reasons.

So you're clearly just of the "nasty bastards using religion to excuse their desire to beat children into submission" school of thought.

Do you know it is possible to raise perfectly well-balanced, psychologically healthy children without inflicting pain on them or abusing them in any way whatsoever, including verbally?

My two children are marvellous little human beings who have not been shaped by being assaulted whenever they make a mistake, because there are ways one can be a responsible parent without abusing the position of power we have and betraying the trust they put in us to care and nurture them in a healthy and functional way.

But, then, you are so staggeringly ignorant and astonishingly dishonest in how you present your position and attempt to defend it, it does not surprise me that you think beating a child is a 'good' thing.

Maybe you are not a member of this particular ponzi, but you certainly are part of others, which is probably where your email address is shared, or could even be just the same group of people running multiple ponzi schemes. Makes sense to contact people who are known to fall for this sort of fraud.

I just write what happen...and I test for this.
So many ones here say just what they believe and not what the have lived...

Ponzi scams pay out big rewards at the start and scam everyone at the end.

If you help them out by posting "hey they pay big rewards!!" you are creating more victims by making people think it is legit.

If you wait until they steal everyone's money before posting anything negative, you help nobody. It's too late by then.

As soon as you see "10% daily interest" you should think "this is a scam". Because nobody really pays 10% daily interest. It's not possible.

I agree with you and you are right.
But when I invest in a ponzi I know all this and I have not much hope to have a good ROI.
I have never promote a ponzi I have not invested in.
I know too that most of promoters invest never in the ponzi they promote.

I like ponzis and I like to see how long they last before to colapse...the problem is that in most of times the ponzi owner go away with our investment...
This I know too.The end of ponzis are never clear...we see it with this earntomorrow.

People anyway believe what they want believe...
I own a investment site (not a ponzi) and 99% of visitors think it's a ponzi.

Once I have even programmed a free ponzi to demonstrate that soon or late a ponzi will colapse.
(it was free to invest but earning were real...all could see that all collapsed and the money allocated was not enough to pay the investors...)(investors who tried for free was warned and they have see by themself that a ponzi is a big mouse trap...

2632  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: May 16, 2015, 02:25:26 PM
Both atheists and theists attempt to push their beliefs on others at times. You can see how religion in schools in America is often not allowed a voice. Much of the time the religion of government is to let people - children in school - make up their own minds. This isn't what school is for. School is for training children rather than letting them make up their own mind.

Then it isn't a place of learning, it is a place of indoctrination.

A school is to educate children so they may be better able to make sense of the world around them, not to make-shit-up(tm) and tell them they must believe it.

So, on the basis you believe that children should be 'trained' rather than educated, does that also follow as them being raised?

It truly does take religion to make good people do bad things, but it also provides as a nice camouflage for nasty bastards to abuse their children, the vulnerable human beings whom they are entrusted to care for and nurture, but who choose, instead, to beat into submission, in the name of their gawd!

Quote
A child-raising book that advocates whipping with branches and belts has sold hundreds of thousands of copies to evangelical Christians. But the deaths of three children whose parents appear to have been influenced by the authors' teachings have provoked a growing backlash.

The implements can vary. For a child under one year old, a willowy branch or a 1ft (30cm) ruler is recommended. For older children, a larger branch or a belt.

But the objective of the "spanking" described in Michael and Debi Pearl's To Train Up a Child is the same - making children surrender completely to their parents' will.

"Training is the conditioning of the child's mind before the crisis arises; it is preparation for future, instant, unquestioning obedience," reads a passage from the book's first chapter.

The "training" is meant to start early and pre-empt the need for punishment. But if the child is already rebellious, parents are told to "use whatever force is necessary to bring him to bay".

"If you have to sit on him to spank him then do not hesitate. And hold him there until he is surrendered... Defeat him totally."
Hannah (not her real name) grew up in a community of Independent Fundamental Baptists in north-western Florida. Her parents obtained copies of books by the Pearls when she was about nine and her sister seven.

The spanking began shortly afterwards and continued for at least eight years. In the first five years, it usually happened several times daily.
One day, when she was 14 or 15, her father heard a story about Hannah getting into a fight with a boy at church.
"I'm still not sure honestly what I was being accused of, but my dad just completely flipped out because whatever he heard was just atrocious," she says.
He used wooden rulers, or yardsticks, to spank her, snapping about five in the course of the beating - her mother kept a dozen in the house because they broke so often.
"When I couldn't sit down a couple of days later he was like: 'Stop being so melodramatic, what's wrong with you?' Then he had mother look and [my coccyx] was incredibly bruised and swollen."
Hannah, now in her mid-20s, says her father was "horrified" and never spanked her again. But her mother continued, using a plastic blind handle that she thought was less likely to leave marks on her children's skin.

Like other people who have witnessed Michael Pearl's advice being put into practice, Hannah says her parents were seduced by the idea of a simple formula that would make their children compliant.

"The problem is that [Pearl] tells you you have to break your children," she says. "And to get there you have to be completely ruthless."
To Train Up a Child is widely seen as the most extreme of the publications produced by conservative Christians in the US who advocate corporal punishment.

It is produced by the Pearls' organisation, No Greater Joy Ministries, which is attached to the church where Michael Pearl is a pastor in Pleasantville, Tennessee. First published in 1994, the book soon became popular among fundamentalist, non-denominational groups outside mainstream Christian culture.

Within these tight-knit communities, many families educate their children at home, viewing schools as having a harmful social environment and being insufficiently religious. The Pearls started homeschooling their children in the 1970s, when the practice was still novel.
Homeschooling in the US

Elizabeth Esther, a blogger who grew up in a conservative Christian community in California and describes herself as a "recovering fundamentalist", says that in her church the Pearls were "basically held up as the sterling example of how to raise your children before God".
The group said its revenue for the 2012-2013 tax year was $1.5m, 60% of which came from sales. Some products are donated to prisoners and military families, and boxes of books have been sent to US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

To Train Up a Child has sold more than 800,000 copies, according to Michael Pearl. Sales have remained steady in recent years and are only boosted by attacks, he says. "We have several million very happy and cheerful parents and kids who've seen great, wonderful fruit from that book and other things we've written."

Extracts

For the under one year old, a little, ten- to twelve-inch long, willowy branch (striped of any knots that might break the skin) about one-eighth inch diameter is sufficient. Sometimes alternatives have to be sought. A one-foot ruler, or its equivalent in a paddle, is a sufficient alternative. For the larger child, a belt or larger tree branch is effective.
The parents who put off training until the child is old enough to discuss issues or receive explanations find their child a terror long before he understands the meaning of the word. A newborn soon needs training
PARENTS MUST ASSUME THAT PART OF THE CHILD'S MORAL DUTY WHICH IS NOT YET FULLY DEVELOPED. The parents' role is not that of a policeman, but more like that of the Holy Spirit
When the time comes to apply the rod, take a deep breath, relax, and pray, "Lord, make this a valuable learning session. Cleanse my child of ill-temper and rebellion. May I properly represent your cause in this matter."
Make it a point never to use your hand for spanking. The hand swatting is a release of the parent's own frustration. Furthermore, where the child is concerned, the hand is for loving, not martial arts.

Matthew (whose name has also been changed) grew up in a homeschooling family in the mid-West that expected just such positive outcomes from To Train Up a Child.
Spanking with wooden rods and branches started at a very early age for Matthew and his two younger siblings. In the first 10-12 years it happened daily to weekly, he says, before becoming less frequent but more severe.
He says there were no serious injuries. But there have been cases ending in tragedy.

Three child deaths

Hana Williams, 13, hypothermia, malnutrition (2011)
Lydia Schatz, 7, massive tissue damage (2010)
Sean Paddock, 4, suffocated in blankets (2006)
In 2010, Lydia Schatz died after being beaten, three years after arriving in California from Liberia. The following year, another adoptee, 13-year-old Hana Williams, died from hypothermia and malnutrition after being left in the back yard in a small town in Washington state.
The Schatz parents are serving long prison sentences after pleading guilty to charges including second-degree murder, torture, voluntary manslaughter and unlawful corporal punishment.
The Williams parents were sentenced in October to decades in prison for manslaughter.
Investigators said both sets of parents had followed advice from To Train Up a Child, a copy of which was reportedly found in both homes.
Michael Ramsey, a district attorney who prosecuted the Schatzes, said he was planning to mention the book as a contributing factor if the case had come to trial.
Though he did not want to detract from the parents' responsibility in causing Lydia's death, he said the book's ideas were "wholeheartedly embraced by the Schatzes", and "the entire philosophy of the book is intended to lead someone down that slope".

Oh, I get it. The recent junk whining here is mostly that Fred garbage and clones of it. Totally certifiable refuse. Belongs in an institution with rubber walls.

You appear to only have references to mental instability as your response to rational argument, it would suggest you are projecting.

Your complete lack of intelligent rebuttal to the valid points being raised against your beloved cloud mining scam indicate that you truly are struggling to even employ regular fallacious logic dressed up as a counter-assertion.

@galdur You appear to have quite the problem with your attempts to rage-quit this discussion, how many more times are you going to keep posting that this is, "goodbye forever"? Also, pro-tip, when you have been presented with a rational, reasoned, explanation for why something most probably is not what it is claiming to be, your pat response of simply resorting to ad-hominem against the people who are presenting said rational and reasoned concerns clearly shows that you have nothing to rebut the position and have to resort to scrabbling at your keyboard in the hope that attempting to dismiss a rational and reasoned position by posting the equivalent of blowing a raspberry will be seen as a reasoned rebuttal.

Just in case you were under the mistaken impression it is working for you, I'll let you in to a secret, it isn't.

Shall we just take it as read that your response to being shown to be absent mental capacity to construct complex replies will likely just be the usual ad-hominem concerning ignoring the content of the argument and substituting mature discourse for blowing raspberries and stamping your feet, then?

It's a rhetorical question, you needn't answer it.

In long run.. We will all death.
Ponzi or not ALL OF OUR investments contains RISK. Even your money at your pocket contains thievery risk.

That is not a justification, nor is it an excuse, for supporting a fraudulent enterprise simply on the basis that you think you will make money before it collapses and leaves some other sucker holding the bag.

Gambling is the process of placing a wager on the outcome of an event based on evaluating the constants and variables which form the basis for the 'odds' a particular outcome will occur.

Investing in a scheme which is pretending to be a legitimate business is not gambling, it is investing in a scheme you believe to be legitimate because you are fraudulently being told it is legitimate by the promoters of the scheme.

That is a criminal act.

Just incase u missed it, I'll say it again:

"So unless you can show me some sort of actual evidence that scrypt.cc is a scam, you can kindly fuck off from this thread. Let the adults talk about adult things and you can go play with the children in the backyard screaming "ponzi ponzi" all fucking day"

All I see from you is the same crappy arguments about ponzis and scams with no evidence except your opinion which isn't worth shit incase you weren't aware.

Maybe you missed my earlier post which calmly and rationally presented objective reasoning towards why the type of people who demand for evidence-of-scam, while ignoring all indication-of-scam, are either shills or mentally incapable of understanding basic common-sense and likely to spend much of their lives wondering why they keep getting ripped off.

Here, let me help you out so you can save time on looking it up and get back to the serious business of blowing raspberries.

Ohhh I see, so your reply to my post, where you clearly state I am failing to comprehend the content of your earlier assertion, is actually just bollocks and I did, indeed, understand your post to be excusing the scrypt.cc scam on the basis that you are claiming it has been running for long enough now that it surely must be legit.

Glad we cleared that up. Funny that, Josh Garza's scam also was shown to be running an active campaign to try and counter the allegations by saying it was all meaningless FUD unless someone could show proof of wrongdoing. Is that where you're going with this? Stating that scrypt.cc has to be considered innocent until proven guilty?

You are going to be falling for a lot of scams in your life if that is how you are going to base any evaluation of whether to buy in to them or not.

After-the-fact discovery of proof is not likely to save people from losing their money. So by establishing the fact that scrypt.cc flags up for all the warning signs of being a ponzi and is actually unwilling to prove otherwise, we can safely say that it is highly likely to be a scam.

So i see that this thread has gone the usual route of rallying the shills to try and discredit anyone who raises valid concerns about the fact that this scheme is clearly a ponzi.

Guys, just check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387 and you'll find it's a ponzi. No need to argue and call names each other Smiley It says only preliminary assessment, but I encourage the author to put a final one.

Anyone who isn't a corrupt shill can easily check the post history of these ad-hominem-spewing users to see that the vast majority of them appear to solely be here to promote scrypt.cc and drown out any dissent.

They pay out old customers via coinmixers from revenue that comes from recruiting new ones. This is the common definition of a ponzi scheme. No surprise, to keep the game going they usually heavily emphasize referrals and signature campaigns to make you do their dirty PR work.
