The project looks brilliant, plus he has a good team.

Love all the newbie love for fujicoin ..but don't really trust it Smiley

Not seeing a lot of HODL posts from those other than newbie accounts for this coin thou...

Still to be convinced of a hook or angle for this coin to go anyplace in the future.

2722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 03, 2018, 09:06:30 PM
Additional (now 3/3/18) or What a difference a day makes...(slowly it is coming back...LTC price)

L3 price per day $1.53 now!  @ 1250 watts and 10c kWh and at $133.50 LTC

24 hours   0.01866718 LTC   2.49 USD   0.96 USD   1.53 USD
7 days   0.13067024 LTC   17.44 USD   6.72 USD   10.72 USD
30 days   0.56001533 LTC   74.76 USD   28.80 USD   45.96 USD

L3+ price per day now! @ $3.06  @ 1250 watts and 10c kWh and at $133.50 LTC

24 hours   0.03733436 LTC   4.98 USD   1.92 USD   3.06 USD
7 days   0.26134049 LTC   34.89 USD   13.44 USD   21.45 USD
30 days   1.12003066 LTC   149.52 USD   57.60 USD   91.92 USD

KNC Titan 300mh is at -$.01c per day @ 1250 watts and 10c kWh and at $133.50 LTC

24 hours   0.02240061 LTC   2.99 USD   3.00 USD   -0.01 USD
7 days   0.15680429 LTC   20.93 USD   21.00 USD   -0.07 USD
30 days   0.67201840 LTC   89.71 USD   90.00 USD   -0.29 USD

So we still need much more to compete against the difficulty rise below:

Apr 03 2018    6,802,626    1.67%    194,780 GH/s

But a lot of Bitmain L3+'s have yet to hit but all this is MUCH more encouraging than yesterday! Smiley

2723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: April 03, 2018, 04:49:52 PM
With the current price of 7usd and the ath of 30usd it's a great opportunity to buy more Lisk. As this project has some important milestones coming up it is very undervalued. The blockchain technology on a mobile device is one of the areas where we should see significant growth in 2018 and there are not many players yet. Gonetwork is the only other big one I see and they have not even launched their ICO.
I would like to buy a little more Lisk while the price is low, but unfortunately ShapeShift does not offered support the coin for a long time now.

Guess i will have to purchase from an exchange, anyone else know of a reputable site like ShapeShift that offers Lisk/BCH trades with account?

I heard of this one that acts like shapeshift (kinda)

https://alternativeto.net/software/changelly/

but have not looked into it, as of yet. I THINK it takes LISK etc.

Anyone use the service above? What are your views?

(i think it is time to 'attic mine' some stuff on to eBay and buy some LISK...the new way to mine, junk from your attic!) (tm Searing)

2724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 03, 2018, 04:44:43 PM
Not impressed with that 911 or that lambo. I’d trade them both in and sell some more btc (quite a bit more) and get the hurracan. This is like all the guys down my gym. They all drive 12+ year old range rovers thinking they are the dogs bollocks.

Look forward to you posting some pics of your better lambo/911, or how about a signed message showing you even have enough bitcoin to buy a honda.

Its 2011, 2 owners from new car with 16k miles on it.  cost me £103k so not pocket change.

You come across like the youtube kids slagging off the Pagani cause he should have bought a koenigsegg but drives a civic themselves.

Been in hodling since mid 2013 buddy. I would never be a twat and boast in here what I have. I also won’t when I sell a load eventually. I can buy a Honda don’t worry about that.

Ps. Digging up my posts from a few months back when all I am doing is having a laugh? You crack me up. You think I’d post on here what I have?? You are more nuts than I thought.

Can personally confirm that RJ has a good number of bitcoin’s.

Grin  Roll Eyes i think nobody actually would post what they really have ..... what would you ever gain from doing such a thing ??

I never saw the problem with telling what BTC I have....1) in safety deposit box....try to get into that .thru the bank 2)I am legal as heck ....had SEC look at me in 2013 because

the banker thought "all btc was evil drug money" (common thought in 2013) thus once I made the SEC happy I was legit...been legal as heck ever since...(sorry guys after the SEC

thing ..the IRS owns my a*s) 3) encourages newbies to HODL

whatever, there may come a time when the IRS comes calling about the boat, the trophy girlfrend and how I can afford the helicopter private lessons....I will laugh and show I'm legal

everyone NOT legal and holding BTC will have to live the 'same lifestyle they have now" or you will get caught...*unless you are a prepper, hoarding gold and supplies in the hills*

thus, as long as I was snag'd at the beginning of mining anyway...just went with it

2725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 03, 2018, 04:38:12 PM
Roger, Craig Wright are walking ghosts living in their own fantasy world. Bcash is a dead man walking.

And if the exchanges can wash trade a dead coin like BCash up to $1000+, just think what they are doing to the price of all the other shitcoins out there?

<<Shudder>>.

hey...slumming with sh*tcoins has been berry, berry good for me!.....It allows me to retire 3 years early on mining/moving and selling Alts around and kept

my BTC Hoard stable since 2015.....(thwart my evil plans will you!)

just saying

2726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 03, 2018, 05:00:14 AM
Something tells me I should be happy I let my order expire.

with my tax and equip deduction issues...etc (previous posts) and coupons per unit

I simply need to get a bit less than $250 usd at 10c kWh per UNIT ...over electric (6 L3+ units ordered last week arriving this week) (yea! 2c reduction on data hall electric)
...a modest win...

so currently at (LTC is pumping) of $122 for LTC the price below for a L3+ (deduct 1/2 for those following on this L3 thread) it comes out to below:

Using again www.litecoinpool.org/calc

L3 at 250mh at 400w at 10c per kWh and $122 LTC

24 hours   0.01897900 LTC   2.32 USD   0.96 USD   1.36 USD
7 days   0.13285302 LTC   16.21 USD   6.72 USD   9.49 USD
30 days   0.56937008 LTC   69.46 USD   28.80 USD   40.66 USD

L3+ (6 I ordered last week) at 500mh at 800w at 10c kWh and $122 LTC

24 hours   0.03795801 LTC   4.63 USD   1.92 USD   2.71 USD
7 days   0.26570604 LTC   32.42 USD   13.44 USD   18.98 USD
30 days   1.13874016 LTC   138.93 USD   57.60 USD   81.33 USD

So my SIX units I need to make for the L3+ (or 1/2 for an L3 to be on topic here) MIGHT be do'able to break even in say....what?

5 months with say the difficulty rise for LTC and perhaps IF LTC went to $150 per LTC to also help, I MIGHT make enough to break even?

Again, dumping 'dubious' alts for this equipment...so again my odds are:

1) sideways on alts or some hedge for this equip before maybe alts dump..thus sideways...no issues its a wash alts=6 bitmain units (hedge)

2) price dumps (above don't matter ..doomed on both the alts spent (if kept) and the miners got with the then 'dubious alts' where prices would have dumped to. Welcome to FML mode.

3) the price pumps on BTC and LTC and I look like a 'genius' getting equipment

again, not a good sign, most praying is going towards sideways now...(yea verily me of little faith)

(how far I've fallen since Dec 2017...now I root for 'ho-hum' vs 'moon' ....alas my ego is crushed)

but anyway, likely a good move on your part 'letting units expire' myself...still have a shot at oranges for oranges! (yech....) Sad

2727  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: April 03, 2018, 04:45:52 AM

Well what is the consensus? Are these miners basically a draw, compared to getting Bitmain units last week (shipping this week) at bitmain 'fire sale' prices?

My take on it, more or less a draw? Only real drama is the price issue of BTC affecting both units?

or am I incorrect and off in some substantial manner

(just trying to resolve if dragonmint folk at least are 'even' with bitmain stuff being shipped this week...more or less for value)

not a slam...but kinda want to know for any future pre-orders on this product or bitmain product or whatever...how is the timeline and such shake out in the future

for pre-orders?

anyway, nice to see folk are getting their toys...(my condolences on the BTC price) Sad

Again, my take is its a draw...as of April 2nd, 2018

2728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 03, 2018, 04:40:58 AM

Just saw the price go up...270 bucks or some such on BTC...did a 'double take'

my first thought was "It's a trap!"

my 2nd thought was "BTC still loves me long time"

conflicted

2729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 02, 2018, 08:29:56 PM

ah...the difference a few days make...

This is at $115 LTC and 12c kWh electric at my end (starting April 1st)

using www.litecoinpool.org/calc

L3 250mh 400watts @ 12c kWh.

$1.13 per day

24 hours   0.01984948 LTC   2.28 USD   1.15 USD   1.13 USD
7 days   0.13894638 LTC   15.98 USD   8.06 USD   7.91 USD
30 days   0.59548447 LTC   68.48 USD   34.56 USD   33.92 USD

L3+ 500mh 800watts @ 12c kWh.

$2.26 per day

24 hours   0.03969896 LTC   4.57 USD   2.30 USD   2.26 USD
7 days   0.27789275 LTC   31.96 USD   16.13 USD   15.83 USD
30 days   1.19096895 LTC   136.96 USD   69.12 USD   67.84 USD

KNC 300mh  1250 watts @ 12c kWh.

-$0.86 per day

24 hours   0.02381938 LTC   2.74 USD   3.60 USD   -0.86 USD
7 days   0.16673565 LTC   19.17 USD   25.20 USD   -6.03 USD
30 days   0.71458137 LTC   82.18 USD   108.00 USD   -25.82 USD

At this rate, the NEXT unit to fall of the network in any LARGE numbers, would be the Bitmain L3, IMHO.

Not looking at all great. FML Sad

Just an update ..the above was 3/30/18...so today is 4/2/18 and compare...now that Bitmain units are hitting the world in MASS ...

Using this calculator (same as above quote) at www.litecoinpool.org/calc

Bitmain L3 makes $1.07 per day!

Bitmain L3 at 250mh and 400w and 12c kWh and the price of LTC at $117 even.

24 hours   0.01897900 LTC   2.22 USD   1.15 USD   1.07 USD
7 days   0.13285302 LTC   15.54 USD   8.06 USD   7.48 USD
30 days   0.56937008 LTC   66.62 USD   34.56 USD   32.06 USD

Bitmain L3_ makes $2.14 per day!

Bitmain L3+ at 500mh and 800w and 12c kWh and price of LTC at $117 even.

24 hours   0.03795801 LTC   4.44 USD   2.30 USD   2.14 USD
7 days   0.26570604 LTC   31.09 USD   16.13 USD   14.96 USD
30 days   1.13874016 LTC   133.23 USD   69.12 USD   64.11 USD

KNC Titan 300mh makes (negative) -$0.94c per day!

KNC Titan 300mh at 1250w and 12c kWh and the price of LTC at $117 even.

24 hours   0.02277480 LTC   2.66 USD   3.60 USD   -0.94 USD
7 days   0.15942362 LTC   18.65 USD   25.20 USD   -6.55 USD
30 days   0.68324410 LTC   79.94 USD   108.00 USD   -28.06 USD

Anyway, as you can see from above....it is NOT too bad yet..but we need a much bigger price pump for this to work.

(Insane, price pump for KNC Titan to work)

Also as I look at the current difficulty (see link below) for LTC that I guess we could be in worse trouble

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/litecoin/difficulty

Anyway, how the works is a riding at this date in time. Smiley

I am beginning to think that it may be 2019 before Philipma1957 gets his review unit...I mean really?

Again, my view is they mined a mess of these for months and now folk on here are getting the tail end of their last run (at best)

so...suddenly delays on this last run of units....(and or price issues with BTC) ...so the big stall?

Anyway, the 2nd coming may happen before Philipma1957 gets his review unit...(sorry...just saying)

sheesh...

- by the way the same proposal to change algorithm was for the SIA coin, after Bitmain launched it's miner.    But finally SIA decided not to do so.

I predicted this would happen, I told many times what would happen before it happened,  sia devs got shot in the head. It served them well. Their greediness taught them a lesson.
Don't really understand why SIA community did not agree to change in algorithm?  This might punish Bitmain at least.

Sia wanted ASICS for their network. Their machines the obelisks paid for. With btc already from last year.
If Bitmain rigs can replace. No loss for Sia Tech.

er yep...

at one time Searing was 12 on the all-time list on litecoinpool...and I was as high as FOUR on the daily list...

now look at my standing (sigh)

daily standing is 834 and now my all time standing is 193...

...sh*t changes...but yeah....some folk did have bucks to toss into mining...blew past me they did in the last year or so

(then again..when I was doing this stuff LTC was $4.15 USD.....perspective don't ya know)

Sorry if I'm still starry-eyed here, but this is really fascinating to me.  It is difficult to fathom the scale of a single node investing so much.  That hash rate is roughly equivalent to 24,000 Antminers.  There's gotta be a big warehouse in china just draining the power-grid or something?

Currently, my ranking is at the very bottom...  Embarrassed  probably because I am CPU mining.  I understand no one can compete without special hardware these days.  At my current rate, I'll have a penny's worth of LTC in about a week!

So what got you into mining Searing (if you don't mind me asking)?  Did you get into mining for profit or was it more of an interesting hobby?  Currently I'm looking at it as more the latter, because I think I'll really get a better idea of the technology that way.

Regards!

Was gonna get put up the old bbs game server again (lost gonzo bbs) was kinda huge..that was like 60 bucks a month at least with electric..found out about btc mining...got a

knc jupiter 300mh and turned it on..was I think around 1 btc a day at $150 a day btc the day I started...0ct 18th 2013....I also had a hedge on selling some Game of Thrones

swords for (eventually I sold them..but got me off the dime) for 3.5k....the miner after that was 3k (when I did finally sell all) thus my logic was for like 1.5k more than putting

up the game server again etc etc...and pay elec of 60 bucks am month for towers on that puppy..I figured I could mine for a year ..(looking at the diff) and then maybe pay

my house utils for another 3-5 months before doorstops....and hell..this BTC stuff could help the poor with microlending loans /bank stuff that was talked about at the time...

of course 3 weeks later I paid the unit off because all hell broke loose and btc was 1k I think around thanksgiving 2013 or some such sillyness

of course the whole works of cyrpto could skunk to tulips

Nov 2014 I went exclusive to knc titans and scrypt-pow and then Bitmain units ....L3's and L3+'s etc...have not had a btc machine since

but man..it is looking kinda dire on LTC prices

difficulty is a killer thou....at $120 an LTC and 400w and 250mh L3 and 12c kWh electric I'm getting

$1.13 a day ....down from my previous post per day....its the difficulty that is dragging the boat down...we need a price pump

2733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer L3 - 250mh - 400watt Scrypt miner coming soon on: April 02, 2018, 03:00:41 AM
Fuck my life right...

If we dont stop soon, my L3+ is in the reds not even 12 months after buying lol

Cant imagine how D3 owners must feel right now

have 2 d3's did not do well (at 10c kwh over winter)

on the other hand had an x11 baikal 300mh from last may...so when people ask I say I broke even with electric on x11 mining

(really it was that 300mh cube...but hey it is true...broke even with ALL x11 miners)

it is all about protecting ego....

AS to the L3+ sale....with coupons..and with equip depreciation and more or less paying anyway 50% to IRS on mining etc

I need a bit less than 250 usd after electric to break even on 6...that is $250 each after electric to be clear on these...had some alts that if it all goes to crap won't matter anyway

so did it as a hedge in case

thus price sideways...big whoop I sell LISK for equip and mine LTC and it is a wash..oranges to oranges

if it dumps...won't matter any of the hedge above

if it goes up I look like a genius (that sure an't looking likely....I'm praying now for just plain old sideways price now...)

saw this movie before in 2015 it sucked...

anyway...chump or champ....it is always one or the other with crypto drama!

How is there a user with ~12 GH/s ( https://www.litecoinpool.org/stats ) ?  The hashrate of the entire Litecoin network appears to be around 200GH/s and this one node has 12 of it?  Just someone who decided to spend millions on LiteCoin mining?  Is it that simple? Or do they have some newer faster tech that they aren't sharing?  your theories?

I think  company have understandable plan and strategy. We just need to remain calm and wait for  news of  development.

From what I can tell the only 'plan' they have had was the panic change to the new algo from scypt-N in the last 6 months...otherwise, I don't remember

anything else of note, dev wise than the 'panic' change of algos...(please correct me ...would like to be wrong...but racking my brain..I come up with zip...)

From what I've heard the hashrate will be combined with the price, it barely competes with an optimized rig, I mean it's nothing like other ASICs, which I guess makes sense since Ethereum relies on memory speed, and using that massive amount of DDR3 doesn't seem very cost effective (I mean, why didn't they use DDR4)
Also the only confirmed Eth ASIC I've seen is really lackluster
https://www.eastshore.xyz/shop/ethereum-miner-geass-198mh-asic-miner-for-ether-mining/

That is NOT an ASIC rig, that is a GPU rig using "laptop" type GPUs.

They have had that GPU rig you talk about out on the Chinese site for more than 6 months, I think it was...this is really an ASIC from what I've heard....

I've also heard that the ram needed for this puppy to work, even as an ASIC is huge..thus around a 12k price tag..

with the price and possibility of a quick ETH fork looks beyond dangerous to dive in on

and if it is a GPU rig like the Chinese ones they have been pushing....it is cheaper now and better to make a NVIDIA rig..again from what I'm told

I don't GPU mine

anyway, my 2 bits worth

it is cheap ,and easy to mine .
i get 1000 GRLC everyday.
the algo  changed, why not change these words in the first page ? Proof of work: Scrypt-adaptive-N (ASIC resistant)
many people are interested in this coin.
The all markets are falling.I believe this day will soon pass

I doubt they will change the algo back to scrypt-n (a guy can hope)

Honestly, i love GRLC. The whole community is awesome and developed its technology in a fun way which is easily recognizable. The price is too low compared with market cap and other similar coins.

Exactly this! Thanks my man.

I concur wholeheartedly.  Garlic is good.

Yes GRLC is very good for our RMC FPGA - it will be extra profittable even on 2-5 cent price.
Oh here we go again. This is going to be fun! Is there really an ability to mine GRLC with FPGA? Can you post proof? I'd be especially interested to know more! I I remember you from when GRLC was exposed by you for ASICs while it was still scrypt-n, perhaps you know what you're talking about once again.

GRLC is dead in this algo... you should go back to scrypt-n if you want to see the price up !

Congrats to the developer https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/garlicoin
Scrypt-n WAS the way to go !!

I actually think this is true.....IF they would have kept Scrypt-N ...the KNC Titans (about  say 7,000 left in the world I'd say) that are NOW JUST making 1c a day...would

all have drifted over to garlicoin and with the cheerleader miner pump...I think you MIGHT have seen this coin go someplace...even thou it is a meme coin...

nothing like having a 'niche' to make things 'perk' up

but indeed....someone should make a Scrypt-N coin with some 'decent hooks' (I've no idea what they would be or I'd make such a coin..no skills)

there are gonna be a LOT of KNC Titans out there looking for something to mine besides LTC and scrypt-N ...and in that they are the ONLY ASIC's to run Scrypt-N

as a niche coin...pointed in their direction (at least in the next few months) as far as betting on longshot coins I've seen worse odds...

never 'knock' a 'nice idea' or a 'gimmick' in crypto!
