2081  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (Open) on: September 13, 2018, 04:57:54 AM

Hmmm....begining to think that with the price crash of BTC and altcoins we may not be getting paid from this campaign anymore...

hope I'm wrong..but I mean a MONTH with no contact from the OP is never a good sign...

likely they had a certain amount of BTC  with a certain price planned and it has bottomed out...

(my vain attempt to get a rise out of the OP to say wtf is going on...lame I know...all I got) Sad

This is exactly what I was sent

I was having issues connecting to the forum over the last days when I tried doing payrounds,
CloudFlare wasn't being too nice, so I had to abort .
(If I'm going through 5 pages of posts from 10 people and am stopped 20 seconds with every page I load, it's taking me forever to get things done).

I'm catching up on my backlog right now and there will be a payment for the two missed rounds soon.

That was a week ago, he hasn't posted since then on the forum. It is a bit frustrating but it looks like his other campaigns have a similar situation happening.

Seen here

Part 2/3 (6 week each) of the back-payments has been sent:
c21a899ee57cdfcb7211ee4efca4dfd1a06d666fbba426ce5b2cb4feb260c230

Looks like back payments were  having to be made.

I sent another PM today asking for an update, I haven't heard back yet.

Edit a little look into it :The original post has the following address holding the coins as escrow: 1BBoPUH4yYdTrJZCHzUKAdgQPDSUdMLGNv

1BBoPUH4yYdTrJZCHzUKAdgQPDSUdMLGNv has .20465418 balance ($1307 at the time of this post)

The current owed is three rounds, currently 5/5 Legendary = $350 a round
Hero is 5/5 (spreadsheet not updated I am on that list) =$300 a round
and 3/5 Senoirs =$120 a round

This totals to $770 a round

Currently owed is $773*3 = $2310

which is right around $1000, over, which screams doom and gloom BUT WAIT!

This campaign has been going since October 2016, with almost 29BTC sent to it including the last time being 5/13/2018. I think Lutpin is honestly waiting on them to deposit the funds and they are taking more time they he would like, that or he is behind and hasn't gotten around to informing them yet.

No funds have moved since 7/31/2018 so it's not like these have vanished.

re-read my post quoted...I may have been too harsh...but the reality is likely he is scrambling to make up the BTC from the price dump etc

and with what you said..it is taking time to slog thru all this for him

so not a slam...but your info helps relieve some wondering on this on my part

we will be the first to know I guess

This is good news, with Ambassador program Lisk will provide more resources and support for prospective host, with Ambassador Lisk is expected to be able to communicate directly with the community by providing information the actual update and, with the support of resources that have been provided. This will be very interesting, I fully support this project.

heh..we have plenty of info on LISK, we need more javascrypt types actually using this LISK format to program apps and such...seems that is the bottleneck..IMHO...

2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: September 11, 2018, 07:12:06 PM
not sure about a 'benefit' but there are consequences if the price goes down to say 5k or so...choices have to be made..and getting rid of crypto debt

or hedging by paying off or setting aside in USD, in case this BTC and altcoin crash gets works..is a possibility....

All well and good, unless larger whales (myself living on crypto for retirement (or trying to) off the Altcoins hoard first) anyway, unless like myself and or bigger whales

are simply dumping altcoins to pay off banks for data halls and losses on BTC and other equipment this past year. Thus keeping BTC as a hedge but getting rid of expenses

on such projects. (I know of at least 3 folk in this bind with data halls). Not to be a downer..but, that just means they have not (with these prices) gotten to selling BTC yet

for the same reason. (like me retirement and/or cutting expenses/losses etc from the bank etc on such and hoping and hodl'ing BTC for the rebound) Thus the altcoins are

sacrificed to the crypto gods first, is what we are seeing at these prices....if/when that hoard is exhausted...if same downward trend BTC will be next. (I love BTC but, if

it comes to working for some idiot and/or burning it all till my full retirement on traditional investments then and soc security..I'll burn altcoins/BTC and it all...I really, really,

like not working for a living!) Sorry, that is the reality as I see it if BTC prices (taking altcoins with it) continue to sink to 5k say or below.

why are people crying?
It will take just 15 Days to reach 60k. Hopefully by Dec 29

Who said anything about crying ?

I'm just drinking myself into a stupor until the price recovers.

This is what my life has become.

 I am OK with that.

But BTC Dominance 57%  Lets celebrate Bawb!

BTC Dominance: 57.2% Come to daddy..!!!!!!!!!!

Why devs gone? Or the community cant save the project ?

See the current price below on https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/garlicoin

the 1-year chart shows it all. This coin is deader than dead.

My suggestion would go back to scrypt-N and compete against Fujicoin. Make it a fight.

But that will never happen. Sad

2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Spondoolies SPx36 - 540 GH/s, 8.1 J/GHs X11 miner on: September 10, 2018, 05:27:17 PM

i agree, this thing at this price is way to much for the x11 network/dash, if they sell 1000 units the income will be more then half of what it is now, add that to your ROI of current 250 days ( with cheap energy ) the energy/income factor will also get worse if the difficulty kicks in...

i get a flashback to the D3 release of bitmain, so many people got rekt...

yeah, catch is if you are hoping (and probably need with this machine) a doubling in dash prices to cover your ass...you probably are better off taking

the cash and holding DASH ...both bets depend on DASH ...but at least you can dump the dash at a partial loss if wrong...not so much any equipment

The price of this unit would have to 1/2 of what they are asking..and i suspect that innsilicon will have their unit ready at the price point of 1/2 in more

or less a month or so, in that they have had 1/2 of this hash out there for a couple months at an 11-12k price, I think it was. Anyway, my guess.

Hard to time equipment making on 6 month ago DASH prices and x11 machine and development just to have everything to hell in crypto prices...

kinda interesting to see the mnfg have bad luck timing wise vs price..usually it is the consumer of asic's (ie me) the crytpo world is cruel!

Rich? Maybe in theoretical dollars but ask any of these coin sluts if they are planning on cashing out and they will scratch your eyes out.

Who would sit through the entire painful bear season just to sell the bottom?

You know what they say about prices...

1) It is either the ATH

2) or the ATL

You want the above to rotate in an UPWARD direction rather than the reverse!

I request all hodlers simply do not sell your bitcoins or. Altcoins there is some. Strange activity going on by bots and few richest individuals they r pumping at around price 6200 to 7000 range and then dump again and then buying again at same levels at 6200
I REQUEST DO NOT SELL YOUR BITCOINS

ya think? They have been doing such since 2009!

The catch is when we had FOMO, and newbies flocking in...did not matter...now with no newbies (all I've talked to say btc/ltc/alts is dead now ...bought the hype/fud)

the whales now can play BTC like a yo/yo....unsure what they can do...hell they might knock it down to 3k...

the catch is, without new blood getting coin, we may be screwed....(hey if they believe Donald Trump as a newbie, then likely they believe btc/ltc is dead also)

sucks

Meanwhile, not working network that makes sense to invest $$ equipment wise for HD's and participate. No Siacoin network fork. But hey, I got my Obelisk SC-1 ASIC doorstop,

day 9, still in the box, unopened. No reason to run it at a $1 a day loss over electric. (but who's counting, days, right?) sob! (live and learn)

a buddy did turn it on to see if they work at the data hall....not impressed..no way to set settings the watts are correct (500w) but it only mines

at 500gh, not the 800gh they said originally...worse yet, no way to do any settings ..it is all locked in..thus can't overclock or underclock ...or anything

you plug it in and it runs as it runs...luck of the draw...

so again, this is day 8  (back in the box/off) just thought folk would like to know what is what...

by the by ..at the 'supposed' 550gh they can do with 2 boards...IF they simply would have shipped 3 boards to a miner (one slot is empty) they would make

the approx 800gh they stated (at probably around 750 watts) ..but still..instead they seemed to go the 'cheap' route and pulled a board..charged us the same price

and said they would make a firmware fix to get to 800mh..whatcha wanna bet..they are simply gonna overclock the hell out of the 2 boards.

now, that really would suck, if you CAN'T MODIFY THE SETTINGS IN ANY MANNER...maybe your piece of crap obelisk CAN'T mine in overclocked mode

on 2 boards when they make the firmware/software mods ..supposedly...

myself, if the settings are locked... I'm simply going to make them 3 board units .....with what I've seen so far ..that would leave me with 3 units vs 5 units..

in that at this rate I imagine one board will be sh*t anyway..if not then I'll have a 1 board unit...but again...not impressed at all

brad

(again, back in the box/off 9 days since arrival...in doorstop mode)

I ordered mine during week 1, still haven't got it. Interesting you have yours but yeah I wasn't planning on running it unless a fork occurs or the market miraculously rebounds.

Got a 2nd email from them..with the same tracking number and date as the 1st email...so someone messed up..today so no clue if a 2nd doorstop is in the mail or not?

but yeah, unless I want to lose 75c a day..they are not worth running indeed....500mh at 500 watts and no interface to overclock or under volt these...and the 3rd

board taken out (empty) that would give you the original 800gh...games are being played...I'll bet they plan to just overclock the hell out of those 2 boards, which

I'd rather not do...but if the interface stays the same we will have no way to change anything (from what my buddy said testing mine at the data hall the other day

before going back in its handy/dandy cardboard box for ease of doorstop use)

as to who will benefit? Probably being in HODL mode on Bitcoin...if this trend is correct and accelerated Smiley

The Founder of the litecoin (Charlie Lee) sold all his litecoin and quit .
What would be the future of Litecoin after the founder quit?
I don't believe your words. This can't be happening. And there is a source of your information. As far as I remember his words, he said that every person should have 1 bitcoin, and then you will see what a high price this coin will be.

2098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Litecoin on: September 08, 2018, 05:46:18 AM

Charlie Lee has always been a bigger backer of BTC than LTC. The whole silver to gold analogy comes to mind.

With the price drop, I now see little efforts towards an LTC debit card, which helped fuel some of the previous highs in LTC price.

I also think that Bitcoin Cash (fraud thou it may be) has taken all the bounce out of Litecoin. Some of LTC's role has been lost.

If what I say above is true, unless the devs of LTC make some significant moves, daring even, I think this coin will continue

to go flat or die. (hey, I have 410 LTC as we speak...I hope I'm wrong)

But, they need better promotion and of course better oversight (the whole debit card fiasco) and more innovation

hanging on bitcoin's coattails does not cut it anymore, too many other alts for that old plan to work any longer.

hope they surprise me with something besides just them crossing fingers for the next halving, and praying for a pump in price

they have a lot of work to do IMHO, and it will have to be at a level of the *blown* debit card hype..to get out of the mud, in my view.

Interesting price, haven’t seen a good investment in x11 since the baikalminer mini’s
I imagine bitmain will dump a D3+ next then

yeah that would be my guess..in ALL my income is from Altcoins and eventually Bitcoin (retired 3 years early holding out for 66 years for traditional investments and soc sec for then)

it makes little sense for me to get these units...

DASH would have to at least double in price...and if you think DASH is gonna double in price...why take the risk of their miner...

seems to be more the case these days

and yeah, like you said about the time these ship Innsiliconn will likely have a unit out for much less price at 1/2 the hash...they already have a unit sold out

a couple months ago at 1/2 this speed (i believe) thus probably, when these ship they will announce

(let the asic wars continue!)

as to me swapping magic inet coin for the miner that makes magic inet coin on the hope it can make 2x the magic inet coin put in...when hoping for a pump of the magic inet coin

to cover your bet on this unit in less than an 8-month ROI...well, that is silly (at least in my case)

later

Reason: Withdraw failure trouble is still occurring now.

Finally Motty removed Yobit from exchange list.
Although we lost our coins but ,
It cause anyone else to not experience this problem .

I thought that youbit sucked...and took weeks sometimes to get fujicoin back....but EVENTUALLY, you got your fujicoin back, you mean now they are not even willing to give back

fujicoin's that they were previously just very late on? If so that is very lame..
