Won't help my Fujicoin. That's a k buck down the drain.

Oh well, house is warm. In fact I've actually had to close some windows now that the polar vortex is outside and the AC doesn't kick on either. Go figure.

there is a 'small' possibility...that the hackers did not bother with FJC...on the other hand..not sure how bankruptcy works...will they liguidate the FJC
to take care of other losses on the whole thing..thus the 'small' chance maybe on getting FJC back...odds are about the same as 'Craig Wright' being
Satoshi. (if BTC goes tulips like beanie babies .that is my 'end of times' scenario)

but...hey...no idea if the FJC was considered 'yours' on the exchanges in this whole mess...(assuming they did not rob the cupboards bare of all crypto.

nope. No dapps, no sidechains, no dynamic fees.
Somehow they're dev´ing and dev´ing, but without palpable result. New landing page here or new background color there.
Most active part are their greedy delegates incl. forced-voting or shady "unvote the others" campaigns.
Stagnating resp. slightly decreasing followers at Twitter and Reddit. Many salty community comments at both platforms.
on the whole, that should be the current state.

yep, that pretty much sums is up..thou on here and other places I've actually 'asked' if anyone is a javacrypt developer and ever looked at doing
something with LISK with their skills (folk on bitcointalk) and have NEVER gotten a reply in this thread or others that any of them have ever looked
at LISK as a javascrypt guru of any skill level.

What happens when you make a coin with a supposed tool (javascrypt dev) and no one shows up?

There will be plenty of Javascript developers working on projects in the Lisk centre incubators in Xiamen, China, & Tokyo, Japan. Both funded by lisk HQ and community.
The Tokyo one is covered in my Lisk Highlights roundup this week......  https://medium.com/@LiskHighlights/lisk-highlights-from-21st-25th-january-2019-70f483f777a3
Their twitter is here...... https://twitter.com/EliteCenter_

Then there is a third Lisk centre incubator opening in Utrecht, Holland. Community driven and supported by Lisk HQ, this Lisk center with its over 200 square metres of office space will act as a shared working space for those building within the Lisk ecosystem.
It's grand opening is on February the 21st!
Their twitter is here...... https://twitter.com/LiskCenter

That's not to mention the Lisk centre incubator I have hear rumoured for the United States.

I realize it is hard to keep up with all the developments in all the different projects, so I have a twitter feed that covers all Lisk stories here....... https://twitter.com/HighlightsLisk and in a telegram push group here....... https://t.me/LiskHighlights

I hope this info helps.  Smiley

what about the 'small' javascrypt developer...any of those? That was my main thought on this project. A few crypto rich guys doing hubs someplace
was not the kinda 'depth' I thought of when the project was released. You can toss a rock in this Univ town and hit someone who knows javascrypt.

Anyway, not a big enough base yet probably with this project to justify the current $1.25 price IMHO. A bit more encouraged by your post but not much.

Guys one question for all senior members. What's so special about hats in your profile. I have never seen this craze in any other thread so far. Plz tell me.
Don't ask, just run!   Grin

alas! It is a sickness...the hats...I passed on a sig campaign because you had to have their avatar...could not give up the hat! ($65 bucks a month shot all to heck

now...) but anyway ...signature campaigns fine...trying to have everyone go 'company store' on the 'you must' also use the corporation avatar....er...a step too

far for me. (That is one expensive frigging hat!)

july 2019 is far now i think bitcoin is dropping from 3000$ and litecoin will also go with BTC
many bearish news again circulating market again and price is again down
if bitcoin touch or go under 3000$ then litecoin price could again touch 20$ or may be more down
looks like 2019 is also come with bearish move for crypto but any thing could be happen
In reality, all recent bad news did not affect the market too much.
I think that it is one of good signal that bearish market come to the end.

Indeed that was test case as some players start predicting for big dip will happen but it gone away without putting any impact on current market situation that's why I also think bear market is about to end very soon and upcoming rally will be so huge.

The bear market will continue until next month, this is very difficult to predict but the possibility of jumping further for now is very impossible, hoping that everything will recover soon.

Until mt.gox dumps its 1/2 billion USD is it..in BTC, I think May 2019...we will likely, IMHO, go sideways at best or down...just saying..until that Ax falls ..that is our lot in life IMHO.

LTC will follow the same trend as BTC price wise in any of the above action good or bad.

i had a bad feeling about ltc since i was holding many coins around 450 when it was up like 400 i didnt sell but later when it was 200 i did have a bad feeling about ltc market and how charlie was acting he was the main reason for litecoin drop because he stopped the developments and stopped attending conferences... i feel sorry for those who got trapped into this shit coin.. i got out at 55 usd the price which i got it.. and bought other better coins then this shit

The catch is with LTC, IMHO, is it has no 'angle' anymore ...any folk that have gotten into crypto the last 2 years have treated Bitcoin Cash (of any flavor) as silver to BTC rather than
LTC. If LTC wanted to liven things up again..they'd incorp mimblewimble and become a true anon coin....(not gonna happen but hey)

best speech ever. in the history of all speeches. gonna be yuuge. im an expert in government reopenings and i can tellya this is the best
also we're invading vuvuzela

Regardless of your politics, it is 'lousy strategy' on the part of the Trump Administration...IF we get till Feb 15th as stated and there is NO new agreement..

he has painted himself in a corner on either 'shut to gov't' down again, or get rid of the wall talk.

I suppose he could hedge with 'experts on border security' who generally think a 'wall' for most instances is lame...but again strategy wise...I don't get it..

unless the above 'experts' stepping in ...would be the 'out' of this mess.

I think so too. Looking forward to the 100K party already.  Cheesy

BTC100k party...  exclusively for WO maximalists. you´d need to bring your hats.  Cool

Hey, why don’t you give XhomerX a avatar pic so he can create you an awesome HAT (or an idea).....

I feel honored, thank you. Will have to pick an avatar i guess. On the other hand... is it wise to become associated with you WO lunatics?   Grin

ah you deluded fool...you are already associated..thus the offer of a hat...

(there is one lunatic in the asylum that always thinks they and they alone are 'staff') Smiley

I am already transferred, I was on this one for half a year(?). Not too worried, I'm just hoping I get to keep my hat.
Lucky you 🙂
I am afraid that you will need to change the avatar. I have seen similar case on the new topic. The candidate was removed. It's the terms you will need to follow.

Ok this was the user Searing.

Yeah, I'm out of the campaign...6 years in April 2019 on Bitcointalk...as Legendary/Hero ...too long with the avatar and as stated in previous posts...not sure if I think

EVERYONE should be using avatars for $$$ for Bitcointalk campaigns..if that is the trend. (maybe I'm in the minority, but was a step too far in my case)

welcome to the extra slot...was a step too far, as 'old school' from my Legendary status. (So I kept the hat) Sad

We will see. Does anyone know a good campaign that will let me keep my avatar/hat? Smiley

Till then my signature will be about www.synchro.net a plug and play 3 min install of old school BBS (Bulletin Board System) works on Win 10/8/7 and Linux. Check
it out it is a hoot.

Hell, retired on bitcoin 3 years early, so what the heck, got to draw the line someplace. Smiley

off to change my sig to the above

Can you share the transaction ID or a spreadsheet with the number of posts paid for and the amount in btc to be paid .

According to the spreadsheet here you guys got your last payment on the 18th of November so I counted from the 19th and 2 weeks ahead. Unfortunately you didn't meet the requirements to receive any payment.

So of the 9 guys left...none of us met the requirements...that seems convenient   Wink

That was meant to pawanjain, You (Searing) were sent 0.05964BTC AND moved to the new Campaign (as were pawanjain).

ok ...me bad... saw the payment sent you pm and the stuff below is still in play...thank you for the campaign and still considering...for anyone wondering if I have

a problem with a campaign...it is the avatar I find a step to far..not the campaign itself .to be clear to everyone (sorry got a mess of emails wondering why I was out

thus this clarification) nope..simply me and the avatar w/sig both issues...nothing to do with the folk here running the bitbender campaign just to clarify w/o pms.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: January 23, 2019, 06:03:24 AM

I should have clarified those calculations were done when BTC was at 5.2k USD or so....back a bit

I suspect since the dump it has not done any better...I'd LOVE to be utterly wrong on this and build a rig

anyway, since the dump have not bothered to look at this again...also remember this was with USED equipment

really unsure of what it would be with new (even though I assume storage prices for HD's have likely? come down since that $5.2k price...I think it was when I did the calcs)

anyway, should have been more clear

Of course You should have been more clear. At least to show "calculation" with "25% loss" running SIA hosts.
Taking into account that SIA cloud storage is the feature distinguishing SIA from crypto crowd it is of great interest seeing such "calculation".
Especially when SIA team is assuming that professional data storage nodes would be the core of SIA storage cloud, not the average Joe with available free HDD space and sufficient internet bandwidth.
My opinion is opposite - SIA team could partner with HDD manufacturers and each OTC HDD would come with preinstalled SIA hosting software/wallet that customers could run if proper internet connection is available.
At this point of SIA wallet usability it is not possible, but decentralization is power crypto world should aim to.

The SIA team does a fair amount of posting, including Mr. Vorick, over on Reddit.  There you will find recent posts where the SIA team acknowledges that the people hosting are doing so at a loss.  Interestingly, the defense of this is that loss is being "mitigated" by home users (not professional data storage nodes) renting out what would otherwise be "unused" space.  I'm not sure this makes much sense, but whatever.

That's what the SIA team has to say about this, not Brad, not myself.

Wander over and check for yourself:

https://www.reddit.com/r/siacoin/comments/a9pn53/why_is_sia_more_costeffective_than_amazon_s3/

you have a fair point..but perhaps I am delusional in that I thought that you could make a miner box or siacoin storage option with used or new HD's and parts

and thus make more than electric with the said box-like mining (minerbox builds) (decentralized) if it is all now come down to the big data hall folk fighting down to

sia-tech level awarness of existence

and beating Amazon in pricing..er that too may be a stretch...but regardless I may be naive and such a box stopped being practical to make $$$ on when

the miner box was offered last year...perhaps I am that far behind the curve...and like other miner data hall cloud miners will fight this out and determine

the price of siacoin...my bad..if that is the case...

but then you get to the issue will 1) other data halls actually flee from Amazon for this sia network...corp world types that is....er....perhaps..but man

they'd better get some world class promotion going if the small minerbox builds like I thought was going on is no longer an option...that may be a tough

sell without the grass works small fry (as I expected) to pave the way (as was done with BTC mining back in the day...cheerleaders as it were)

so beat me up...likely I'm wrong on much of the above (i sure am confused on the long term planning of sia-tech/asic's and siacoin from these guys)

That was meant to pawanjain, You (Searing) were sent 0.05964BTC AND moved to the new Campaign (as were pawanjain).

That's fine I sent you a PM...I am retired on BTC ... It is a bit too much 'company store' with the avatar added...the sig campaign is one thing...a bit too

far with the avatar IMHO. I'll get invited to another campaign, I post about 3x what is needed for most campaigns. Typing as fast as you think has

advantages ...but you can ramble on with the speed in gear. Someone else will invite me to a campaign or not ..I post too damn much to probably not

be bugged to join another one someday.

And again, retired on crypto so this is not a big deal (and I like my avatar hat) Smiley

someone else can probably use it more than myself. But again, 'old school' ..the signature is one thing...everyone having avatars..that is just a step

to far IMHO. (maybe, I'll change my mind someday). But as of now, er nope. Gotta draw the line someplace. (wonder what is next..highlighted hyper

text links/ads..every 4th paragraph?)

Thus not about the BTC for me so much, someone else can probably use the BTC more than me anyway, and this opens a spot.

good luck

I'm taking some time to fill the last 2 vacant spots for Hero/Legendary spots as well as the Member spots. Please respect my choice and do not spam me with PM's, if anything that'll just make me not want to enroll you.

Will update this soon!

sent you a pm..make it 3 slots...if I have to wear an avatar as well..not worth it... I mean a sig campaign is fine but not going to sell my complete soul

for 0.0003 BTC per post or whatever (got enough BTC that does not matter...retired on btc...someone else with less can have my spot)

so anyway...I like my hat...avatar...thus I'm out (unless I misread and the avatar picture is optional)

good luck

IMHO, the mimblewimble (spelling?) is a protocol...and grin coin has this as its ONLY angle for a coin. What happens when a mess of altcoins, that have watched 95% or whatever

value decrease..and are having a pity party and say wtf...and add mimblewimble(spelling?) to their coin that says has other angles and hooks in their protocol besides just the grin

mimblewimble protocol? Would not grin, as a 1 coin wonder, not be lost in the shuffle of other altcoins also getting the protocol?

Also, this may be the kiss of death on grin coin

it has been out 2 days or so ..and they are making an ASIC Smiley

https://obelisksc1store.tech/product/obelisk-grn1/

everybody and his brother ...IMHO..with the large value drop.... will add this protocol in some manner...as a new hook for their altcoins IMHO....in that mimblewimble was originally

made to add on to Bitcoin...I don't see this as an issue...

anyway, coin is out 2 days and an asic is announced...if the grin coin devs were smart they'd announce if that happens they will kill the asic with an algo change...by the end of the week

crypto always a circus.

days ago and the exchange has still been under unscheduled maintenance.
I believe that Cryptopia will come back soon.
Binance team supports Cryptopia by freezing hacked funds sent to their exchange from Cryptopia.

i think it is bad enough..with their very clear statement that they are likely 'toast'

which leaves just bleutrade

no encouraging it seems
