1961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: October 26, 2018, 05:48:49 PM
It was really a bummer that there are still people out there who likes to discredit litecoin and really all they are doing is making fools out of themselves. Litecoin has been here for years now and no amount of bad propaganda can stop the coin from evolving further. We will be able to see much progress hopefully by the next year.

I've mined 12,549 LTC since 2013...(most converted to BTC ..sigh..) but anyway..there is MUCH LESS innovation now in the coin then from years past...

the devs are more concerned with the BTC vs BCH wars and their hoard etc

again, show me something LTC is doing except promises...it is a sad state of affairs

We are listed on CoinGecko too .... Devs are still working on API integration from block explorer that will update coin circulation and in turn the market cap.  We are also on Blockfolio and some others.

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/hyperspace

Market Cap and Circulating Supply are now being reflected on CoinGecko

Well it is nice I suppose that the big Innsilicon miner types will be able to make a profit on this coin after electric costs...too bad you can't do so anymore with a

Bitmain A3 unit..in that they are going NEW on eBay as we speak for $50 INCLUDING FREE SHIPPING...

I got one used for that price last week ..in case I could run this ..but alas at 12c kwh it is not to be Sad

pretty cool paperweight however after the 25% equip deduction is taken off my IRS this year to make it a $37.50 paperweight Smiley

When is the next payout on this campaign? Did it change to monthly or something and I missed the memo?

thanks

That hat thing feels like one of those vintage star trek episodes where the crew gets mindfucked by some alien force and everyone starts to do strange things and forgets about his duties (except for kirk).
where is kirk?

So we are all 'red shirts' that explains the last years price dump. Ack!
1965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: October 25, 2018, 07:16:25 PM
Litecoin has been holding on to the market for a long time already more successfully than other coins. Even in spite of all the ups and downs

Yes, you are right we have seen lite coin is doing very good in the market because even with market fluctuation the price of Litecoin is not fluctuating heavily. From the last year onwards the price of Litecoin is very good and great stability in the market.

Now the market in the flat thus Litecoin is following. Actually, it is a good thing but Looking for good reasons for growth.  I need to spend some of my LTC without realizing loss.

There are many reasons for growth, but this is already a mature project, and therefore it is not worth waiting for some huge numbers. Most likely we will grow with the rest of the market and nothing more.
The risk is small and therefore the profit is not so high.

yep...I'm using the last of my LTC to live on (retired due to crypto early) I have some LISK I plan on keeping..but essentially...the LTC will be 'toast' by the end of the year.

Next will be for next year the Bitcoin Cash to live on. That and the last of my Altcoins will likely be burnt by 2020. Thus only the BTC is likely to be in HODL mode. (unless altcoins

and BTC pumps big time and I can put off the great altcoin's I hold massacre) Smiley

So essentially what I see going on is 'everyone' who uses BTC in some manner to live on or to cover their previous data hall or mining operations are now selling altcoins like crazy

to live on or clean up their data hall mortgage (hedge...get the building) or other tricks...and burning their previously (back in the day) mined or ICO or whatever Altcoins.

It is NOW for most people all about protecting the BTC baby.

Anyway, how it seems to be playing out now and again, unfortunately, Bitcoin Cash has 'eaten' Litecoin's lunch as silver to BTC's gold I'm afraid. Really hate it, but any newbie

trader I know is not paying any attention to LTC at all (and very little to BCH for that matter) ..but again, I see this trend going on well into spring 2019.

Not to mention of course the 1 Billion in USD in BTC .the GOX settlement is going to release this next spring 2019 (man hope that all crypto is pumping than to eat that feast)

So...interesting times in the next year. But the big boys with data halls like Bitmain and others are dumping altcoins to save the BTC Hoard. Hedging against risk sucks, but how it

seems to be going now.

So unless LTC gets some stuff off the ground with the old 'debit card' plan or something....they will simply move as the market moves...but I don't see altcoins nor LTC doing

very well at all, if we have another year of 'sideways' price action.

Anyway, chump or champ, time will tell.

"Needs Must, When The Devil Drives"

Anyway, I'll be out of LTC by the end of the year, using it for 'real world' uses. But my take on how this all is gonna shake out.

Inno S11 uses about the same wattage for about 5x the hash. They should be profitable even at 12 sats. But A3's no way. Smiley

yeah, what I figured...

if someone wants an A3 just for giggles and shelf art..this one is NEW and in the box (no psu) for $50 and NO shipping costs...

well an A3 uses what? 1375 watts...so if you only make that a day...that is about 30 bucks and about 90 bucks in electric?

unless you make a the above after electric (which i really, really doubt)

thanks

That's right, with the average USA electric bill, an A3 uses 2.30-3 USD / day.

yep on a $90 bill you make $30 that is damn hard to justify...anyway ...just asking

I have 2.  Not sure what to price them at though, I dont have a set in stone price.  I'll take an offer and we can potentially work from there.

Ditto. (I'm lazy, what he said above.) Smiley

XSC has its biggest trading day volume so far on c-patex. It is around 24 million. This is more than half of all the volume at c-patex today! Can't wait to see what happens when Sia forks off the miners on 10/31. Grin

https://c-patex.com/markets/xscbtc#

is there a hyperspace mining calculator? curious.....doubt it is worth putting up the bitmain A3 unit ($50 with shipping included on ebay...I got for 'ASIC Shelf Art' (not on at all....still took the 25% equip deduction

off to make it $37.50...shhhhhhhh..don't tell)

anyway, a mining calculator (or a ballpark on what one of these 'space heaters' would make in hyperspace coin per day would be appreciated...

though hard to be a 'real coin' as it were, without a frigging mining calculator for your hyperspace coin...just saying (maybe it exists and I can't find a link)

thanks

brad

I will make one later. Each of my A3's makes 1253.7099580390952 XSC a day which is about 0.98 USD lol

Why lisk coin price dumping like that? today the price of lisk coin is only 0.00047078 BTC I invested a big amount in this coin but the price dropping sharply!! But I have believed in this coin, Hope soon lisk coin price would recover. I got an update form the twitter page: https://twitter.com/LiskHQ/status/1050729927958511617

That is the question you build LISK for javascript developers...to use to make coins and tokens and apps..what if no one shows up? Ack!

.................

do you mean that devs did not appear, determining an useless tool ?? this is critical.

I mean the 'premise' is that folk that know javascript will embrace lisk and use on their own projects as a tool and blockchain

not seeing much of that yet...so they built this javascrypt app for a blockchain to use...where are the devs? Some sure...

but not as much progress nor hype as last year...thus stuff seems to have 'waned' big time...

brad

thank you so much for expressing a clear opinion on that.

Is there somewhere accessible, a list of achievements made by external devs when using LISK support ?

so, Searing, after a week without response or discussion, the conclusion is clear.

yeah..after 'poking that bear' it kinda sucks...no javascript types have 'slap'd me down' saying they are using LISK yet Sad

1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: October 21, 2018, 11:20:16 PM

As an aside..is their a 'site' or graph that shows current siacoin hashrate per manufacturer? Like how much of the hash is Innsilicon/Bitmain/Obelisk or whatever?

Also, what is a pretty fair 'consensus' with the above in mind of what the 'actual' difficulty of mining is gonna fall to for Siacoin, when/if the fork happens?

(I know we are guessing...but will it drop by 25% mining wise? 50% ..what do most folk think?)

I've got 5 of the doorstops...got the 1st one still in the box from August 30th....the rest still in the box as they straggled in as we speak...

I 'suppose' I should get motivated and at least get them up on the 'current' network even at a mining loss to see if they even work or not...before the firmware

upgrade (which I bet will be 1-2 weeks left...siatech it is how they roll) Sad

anyway, guesses...just p*ssing in the wind in spite of myself here....stuff to do Smiley

Hello,

i have added Fujicoin to the site Chainz.ID
I hope someone can add this explorer to the website.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/fjc/

Kind Regards Christian

Nice! It is wonderful to handle SegWit address properly.
I was wondering what to do because Insight is stopping development.
From now on I will consider this as the main.  Smiley

this blockchain explorer FINALLY allows me to go by date and go all the way back to my 1st block on the FJC address. Something the MAIN FJC explorer (the one that was down

did NOT allow me to do)

works slick

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/fjc/

supposedly? this will stay up if the main FJC explorer goes down again in some manner? (not sure how this stuff works..just asking) Smiley

LISK dumping is continuing and not looking good. I wonder if it is a better idea to move all LISK into one of these LISK ICOs instead like Mandana. Hopefully their product will rise in value and you get more bonuses is you invest using LISK
I think that to move all lisk to one of these lisk icos is even more risky than holding LISK,

how does (or not) does the LISK blockchain gain value from say any of these ICO's?

is there an increase in worth for each app on the lisk blockchain in some manner as each may be added?

thanks

The hard fork will come into effect by the October 31st. There’s no plan to issue new coin. If somebody will do it, basing on the old network, the new coin might be issued but there are no guarantees that any exchange will support it.

with 4/5ths of all blake2b equipment NOT being an Obelisk machine and not being able to mine Siacoin after Oct 31st, 2018, well I'd be shocked if they don't run the old blockchain and call it Siacoin Classic or some such.

So the problem with an 'exchange' taking such a coin with that much hash will be likely moot.

I'd like to be wrong, but just can't see folk (big and small) sitting on that much equipment as 'doorstops' without doing the above.

What do you expect from someone who sold all his LTC and doesn't seem to be interested in buying anymore. He is a poor example of a leader in my opinion.

yep.....seems to be the case

Can someone post the account of charlie's LTC so we can confirm he indeed has sold all his LTC?

I also get why a fork might draw a lot of attention but whats it really going to matter if the product isn't finished and user-friendly? Are there even real-life cases of sia being used other than for speculation?

yep without that and 7 out of 8 Siacoin miners in the world being 'non-obelisk' without that the orphan chain (or I suspect siacoin classic) would have better odds of survival. Harsh, but their decentralized cloud storage anonymous network at 10c to Amazon Clouds NON-anonymous centralized (they know you) at $1. Well w/o
their plan...the coin is no better than Garlicoin or any other sh*tcoin of dubious use.

Put up or shut up time. Siacoin will live or die by their network vision above. No, if's and's or but's. IMHO.
