My reasoning is, the whales have dumped their Bitcoin on the institutional investors/Trads in recent months as the Bitcoin ETFs have become available, but they are only seeing bag holders on the alt-coin side, and not seeing newcomers to buy alt-coins from them in order to eventually dump them on the newcomers.
My dilemma is, should I sell now, wait for the short-term pull back, go back in and sell in the long term, or is this a foolish sentiment?
Well its up to your judgement actually. I believe this is an expected retracement prior to bitcoin halving whereas observed as well during last time. After that the real bull season happened and some alts are pumped like sky rockets. But Im not sure if history will repeat itself but as an altcoin trader I think is inevitable and bound to happen anyway. Probably with the new narrative tokens. |

For airdrops and galxe tasks, I don't even know if they actually look at the NFTs subscribers mint to allocate rewards to them as that's what projects usually say while the hunt is on.
Could that be why you think all those you got from doing airdrop tasks aren't useful?
Some did used the oats/nft as criteria for their airdrop even with galxe and some platform for nft. Well depends I had a lot that are useless now and not usef for that basis anyway thats a tiny gas fee or close to free upon minting. For me, the NFTs I don't even want to contemplate minting whenever I stumble on tasks demanding minting them are the ones on the ETH chain. Doing anything that requires paying with ETH seems to be exploitative.
Well its your choice mate. Some hefty airdrops that needed some mint on eth are worth the risk though. I have even bought some even on eth for that purpose. Always a big risk. |

Maybe we should also add Ton to the list of chains for NFTs. Ton is getting attention this day and may blow up like Solana soon.
To be honest aside from doing notcoin I dont do any nft on ton cause I dont lile the set up there. But who knows if it can be a good ecosystem for nft later on. apart from the one BestChange gifted us but they're just lying there and with me not knowing what next to do with them. I see other NFTs with substantial floor price listing but not the ones I'm holding. Perhaps, it's not the right time for those I'm hodling "to shine".
Well some nfts wort to be display at all. I have tons of nfts on my wallet that are useless too came from galxe and some airdrops. But some are worth it too and requirements for some airdrop tokens later on. If you hold some that gains value then sell it mate. |

What are you proposing? A different wallet, making it the third, for farming and staking? Because that's what I can think about, you never made mention of any better idea than saying farming not sitting well with burner wallet for airdrops.
Maybe if you are fine with that. I am like having a fund for farming like example renzo protocol or puffer finance which needed eth to earn points. Not gonna use a burner wallet for that if you are serious on farming those like at least the lowest you can do is 0.5 eth at least to gain a good airdrop points and tokens later on. Maybe having one will do and only interaft with known and big ones. Butner used only for testnet and make a good wallet as well for retro airdrop or like layerzero, zksync, scroll but honestly I didnt degregate this from my staking or farming wallet. Only testnet that are not blue chips. |

Well theres a huge dip for every coin but solana indeed didnt get affected that much. My take on this is due to swarming memecoin or shitcoin trading happening now on their network. There are tons of memecoin being launch and injected money with solana leaving its demand intact and still appealing to some traders and investors. |

Not actually but I did sent some sol for the presale however theres a hugr mistake happened or lets just say stupidest thing a dev could ever do. The creator burn the LP tokens including presale tokens worth $10million. Obvioulsy this will pump hard since no dumpers will be there to sell on it. A half token supply was instantly out of circulation so it become a trend. Couldnt do more but its done but people are apeing on this as exchange taking advantage of the liquidity too. Honestly I feel like Im a donator on this LP pool being seen now. |

Then again, these comments made me start thinking. Are Altcoins really memecoins and why did you think so?
Not sure if you do some background or researches already but its quite simple since memecoins are also an altcoins is just that they are the type we called shitcoins or meme coins that arent actually have much use case but sole intended only for pump and dump and fun. Thats good or nice recommendation however if you are farming a good tokens via farming using eth usdc or any funds needed token then burner isnt good. Unless you lr burner holds a lot of fund for the farm. Maybe burner is good only for testnet and some not so clear airdrop projects that you wanted to join or participate.

First thing I do is;
I go to Dexscreener then CMC, to look at some solana memecoins and see their movement like BOME just bought it. I never knew it will go that high and get so much attention and become one of the Sol top meme then its listing on Bitget has made it surged over 700% or so and then Binance announcement on having its derivatives available made it surge more. That's one beautiful thing of buying a memecoin before the noise comes in.
Well lucky or fortunate for those who bought even at presale stage. Actually some alts are noy moving but lets not forget that alts with actual product are more good or stable than these memecoins. If you earned from meme then congrats but dont hug them too much or at least if you are willing to risk for it just be ready to lose at least. |

Well they will die without much speculations or hype around it. Sometimes the project only survive due to that but id theres a certain use case then they maybe can affor to stay alive and thrive another bear if ever. There are plenty of projects that can do that and you can also try to make a review on that. Not sure if its worth buying them now or have they launch already or not. But when arrived bear season arrive make sure you picked the right one cause definitely some of these coins will die. |

Hi all, I restored my metamask due to the fact that wasn't able to connect anymore (chrome extension), I deleted the addin then reinstalled and restored using the recovery seed phrases
the metamask had 3 "sub accounts" with different names, some eth and some other tokens
after the restore i see just one account and zero eth nor tokens, please help i am in big trouble
Youre not in trouble, since you restored using private key then you might need to add again the wallets cause it will not be visibles once you imported it. Its normal its not compromise or what, thats a standard when you are doing it on a new device, mobile or laptop. |

AFAIK, there's this Dencun upgrade that has happened for Ethereum lately. And that is about the decreasing of fees.
Yes dencun upgrade is completed however its purpose is to scale L2 thats why you will noticed that the gas fee like zksync, starknet, linea and many more has been reduced since the upgrade. I think OPs case is unfortunate even though he has tokens worth like that we really need to spend a lot on gas on eth just to use send or trade that tokens. Not advisable to use eth for low transactions now its gonna be a big waste. |
