281  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-10-07] 21 – The planet-sized computer on: October 08, 2015, 05:11:50 AM
Interesting how this is happening at the same time we are becoming an earth sized prison farm. I guess we can all farm WoW gold forever now
282  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Los Angeles Man Claims KFC Served Him Fried Rat on: October 08, 2015, 05:09:32 AM
It's more likely he is looking for a payday. America is such a litigious society that it's a full time job for some people looking for someone to sue
283  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Is A Social Justice Warrior (SJW)? on: October 08, 2015, 05:06:31 AM
A SJW is a new type of bully who uses bullying laws to bully people.
It's the white person in a room full of white people calling everyone racists
It's the kid in school who sits in the front and snitches to teacher on everything they see
They're assholes who have found a supposedly unimpeachable argument to hide behind
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only 6 million bitcoin be left to mine on: October 08, 2015, 04:59:17 AM
We'll see the beginning of the deflationary effect at the halving next year. Should be a nice spike and a hint of things to come. People are pretty predictable. The theoretical reasons for btc's utility are lost on most. It's more when they see the price rise the new money rushes in then a bubble effect happens.
285  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 14 year old Muslim teen gets legally detained in Texas for homemade clock II on: October 08, 2015, 04:17:22 AM
there was a great article about it here http://streetcarnage.com/blog/a-little-kid-just-punked-the-president/#more-80046 especially the part where lying is a part of Islamic culture http://muslimfact.com/bm/terror-in-the-name-of-islam/islam-permits-lying-to-deceive-unbelievers-and-bri.shtml

the whole things idiotic. If it was a white kid he'd be expelled immediately. americans have been cuckolded. Islamic extremists have nothing to worry about. they can come to america and take over and usa will simply apologise for not bowing down fast enough.
286  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Your Thoughts On Vegans? Or Going Vegan ? on: October 07, 2015, 08:34:34 PM
I know of people who have cured various ailments by going vegan, I believe it can be quite healthy.

My health is fine and I like meat and dairy so I won't bother for now.

I could care less about the ethics. The cruelty makes it taste better. Why do you think veal tastes so good. Or pate de foi gras?

And my wife looks fantastic in fur
287  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase pays the fee for its users? on: October 07, 2015, 08:24:40 PM
They are my go to online wallet for micro transactions. Exactly because of the zero fee.

Still won't put significant amounts through it.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another "bitcoin pizza" thread on: October 07, 2015, 08:18:19 PM
Yeah but it is a pretty good "hook" for papa john. Find out who does their PR and send them a "pitch"
It could make a funny ad they might use or a promotional thing. It may already be on their radar. Integrating btc payments isn't so hard. They are probably scared of regulatory legal issues more than anything. They're part of history so they "own" the bragging rights anyway.

Drop them a fan mail about it, they might send you a coupon for one of their inedible pizza pies.

Poo Poo John's is what I call it
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard Exec: ‘Bitcoin Doesn't Really Work in Today's Environment’ on: October 07, 2015, 08:11:24 PM
And this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1202180.0
Flip flop city or just same idea different context? I bet there are all sorts of ideological/technical wars going on in the boardrooms offices and labs over at master card (and every other cc)

290  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Did I just lost $3600? on: October 07, 2015, 08:03:56 PM
Whoa that's bad timing dude. I never use blockchain, too many weird stories like your's
Why would you have such a large transaction sent there any way?
Not trying to be mean and rub it in but why would you pass such a large transaction through an online wallet? Just curious. It would be just as simple to go through a well secured multi bit even

I trust no online wallets. Not for more than 0.5 btc which is even pushing it. Micro transactions only. If even.

Sorry about your loss there bud. Meditate and relax. Maybe you'll remember your password.

Hey thanks. I just have a couple of questions if I may...
When you say it is my responsibility to PM you to get payment, I am not sure what you mean? When do I PM you? Is it when you update the spread sheets? On the 7th 14th etc?
And how often are spreadsheets updated?
Sorry but I'm confused at how that part works, what am I supposed to PM you with? And when exactly?
Also, I prefer not to use the avatar, I assume that's ok? I don't care about the 0.02 btc...
& I post in any thread, I don't care if they don't count, you don't mind right? Anyways, good to be on board I need to sleep now
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My goal to earn 1,000bitcoins within 3years on: October 07, 2015, 06:45:42 PM
I like OP's style but confidence has wiped out many a mortal at the tables... Faucet money so nothing really risked to begin with. I'd love to see him do it though. Just for the lulz of it.

But I'm serious OP... When you get to 2999.9999 BTC... BET THE WHOLE THING on RED!
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on: October 07, 2015, 06:34:22 PM
Of course the house always has the edge. That is the nature of gambling. There is never an edge. That's why I pick roulette. It's easy to lose big on your spreads but when you do strike luck the returns become phenomenal

It's about knowing when to get out. If you even get the chance before getting killed straight out that is.

More than the other games it is truly "go big or go home"
294  Economy / Gambling / Re: ☼ ☁ Weathbet.com ☁ ☼ - Bet on weather condition - BTC, LTC, DOGE on: October 07, 2015, 06:27:33 PM
This is the craziest and mad funny idea yet. I don't even really "get" betting on anything really but I'm tempted by this thing lol. The weather... It's brilliant really. Reminds me of that joke about the two degenerate gamblers who are so far gone they take bets on which of two flies will fly off the ceiling first.

The weather is more interesting than randomly generated numbers that's for sure

I have a meteorologist friend who teaches up at the university who might be able to help me with a "system" for this one!

I'll join as soon as I get out bed today. Nice work converting a non gambler!
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gemini's launch and impact on Bitcoin price on: October 07, 2015, 04:14:47 PM
I dont think it will make any difference on the price, no new exchange has in the past.

maybe if they can figure out some sort of Willy Bot 0.2 though...
296  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Liquor on: October 07, 2015, 04:08:35 PM

298  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: October 07, 2015, 03:59:18 PM
This repulsive media propaganda won't change my mind, I'm voting Trump. Cheesy The more the media bashes him the more I support him.

he's just there as a distraction as to how terrible all the other republicans are. its a brilliant bait and switch actually. plus he has the crack-pot vote sealed up!

hey, he's gonna bring Christmas back! what a guy
299  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Toys “R” Us the Latest to Force White Employees to Train Paki Replacers on: October 07, 2015, 03:54:55 PM
oy veh
this is just racist hate-mongering.
the reason Americans lose their jobs to outsourcing is because they agree to work for American owned corporations who do not value them in the first place. I wont even use the toilet at Toys R Us let alone shop there, and I would rather starve than work there.

if you cant find a sustainable workplace to work at, maybe you should move to india. you wont find it there either, but your savings will go a hell of a lot further and you wont have Disney-fied commodification of right wing values shoved down your throat. you might find yourself on a journey of spiritual awakening and stop being such a disenfranchised cry baby too.

there's no stupid questions.. and there are PLENTY of high ranking accounts here that are only that way because of sig farming. most sig campaigns start at minimum 150 posts a month some are as high as 400! this is why total boneheads can have legendary status (I'm guilty)

the thing about forums, any forum, is that they are public. this means you get all types. some people are rude and derisive, others are kind and helpful. hang out in technical discussion and ask anything you need to. you might get called names by some pathetic butthurt basement dwellers, but you simply have to ignore them. literally. any time someone is rude, put them on "ignore"

and remember, for every assh*le who likes to insult you here there are at least 5 who will help you out. dont let the bad apples spoil the bunch.

"A truly wise man is the one who can admit he knows nothing. A fool has nothing to learn." quote unknown
