281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 08:49:31 PM
Before the adults don't let the underage gamble but allows them to watch. Now, I guess that there are situations that the adults(parents) are the ones watching their kid gamble.

And also, the casinos wouldn't even know if the one who gambles is an underage or a minor if there is no kyc at all. That's one reason I think that they enforce it but we don't like it because we don't want to conceal our identities.

That's one thing that the innovation has made. Gambling has became accessible to many people at different age brackets.

I am familiar with this word kekw, been seeing this on memes like more than five years ago. Haha.

As I understand, your business model is the same with the others that has also their own tokens for distribution of the casinos profits for your holders.

I've checked your name and these two appeared; which one is yours?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/kekw/

Although both of them are non data existing.

Distribution of profits are are paid via revenue share as Ethereum to holders of KEKW

Okay, that's your data there and it seems that you've got no volume at all if it's about trading. And about the share, you're not going to pay with your own token as a share but Ethereum.

That's a good condition because what I've seen with the other casinos offering the same thing is they're paying their holders through the same native token that they own.
283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Seeking recommendations for decentralized exchanges (DEXs) on: February 17, 2024, 10:12:23 AM
The instant swaps does have a different rate from the actual exchange like the ones you've mentioned, et.al. Binance, Coinbase.

But the pros there is that you get what you want on an instant just after your transaction is confirmed and yes, no sign ups. Although there have been mentioned possible feature that you're looking for.

They still have some adjustments for the fee/slippage if you try to get the best rate in your liking.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t you think BRC20 tokens need more spotlight? on: February 17, 2024, 07:43:38 AM
The attention that was given to them was already done. All they've done was to spam and attack the network making it clogged resulting to higher transaction fee. Honestly, I am so happy seeing a few cents of fees which is a high priority for a transaction.

How long was it when we've seen this since the last time? And for those that have made money with the BRC20 tokens and rode its craze, congratulations to all of you because you've made it.

You've made a lot of money from them and that's the reason why they've stayed for a bit but then, the demand decreased and so as the fee.
285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bull Charging or Just Warming Up Post-Halving? on: February 16, 2024, 11:17:33 AM
It's a warm up and we're going to see the surge after the halving. We saw the pump now because of the ETF effect and this could just be the start of the bull run or we have actually started already.

That's what we are all expecting to happen, to see a massive pump after the halving but it won't be the same as what we can see or I might be wrong with that and it can be the same motion as what we're seeing now.

It could be a different move this time and we can see early significance going to the top or ATH. With that, just keep in mind that anything is possible as we're all speculating.

287  Economy / Speculation / Re: DCA is the most important in investing. on: February 16, 2024, 06:34:46 AM
There will be some paperloss if you DCA and that's normal and you don't have to look at that because it is temporary because the greater part of it is in the long term.

DCA is a proven strategy if your plan is to stay here for the next couple of years. Just like any investments, they won't grow on trees asap but it takes time until you see them profitable. As the growth of Bitcoin is skyrocketing, the stability of it shows you're in a better place if you choose to go long term.

And while waiting for that position of yours in the long term, don't waste time and DCA. It's also true that when you DCA, make sure that you also have other money or source that you can use to spend for your needs. Don't invest if your only source for investing is the one you'll use for your daily needs.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 15, 2024, 09:10:02 PM
I had a friend in the gambling circle,he was gambler addicted person over a year.I had advised him many times, but he is not ready to accept my advice in the gambling.Apart from gambling,my friend accept my advice without any hesitation. When I had a time on weekend,I get a chance to meet him in personal.I had some question about his gambling addiction, but the sad part is he is not accepted his gambling addiction towards the gambling site.

He said that he had nearly 64k dollars as a loss in the gambling site.In order to recover that 64k dollars,he keeps on betting from all his economic resources.I had advice him to use only 20 percentage of salary to get away from entire gambling loss. But he is now repeating the same 100 percentage of income from weekly, biweekly and monthly. So he was in the big loan problem.Still he is arranging funds from loan to play gambling, because he think that the recovery was possible at the place where he lost his money. What will be your suggestion for my friend to recover from the gambling addiction.
Honestly, 20% of his salary is still quite a lot so how much more if all of it being spent. This is the cycle of addicted gamblers that can't control themselves anymore. Even you are best of friends, that guy won't just listen to you.

His mind has got stuck that he has recover all of that money but the system will just automatically going to add more losses to him because that's the system.

Just tell him and accept all of those losses and he has to recover to his life and not with that recovery plan. Because the more that he'd think of recovering it, the more potential losses that he'd have.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the Best Option: Because of Dollar Rate Cost of Living is on the Peak on: February 15, 2024, 07:46:14 PM
The fees of transaction for Bitcoin varies and that's the reason why many retailers will simply accept it whenever it's low but they always have an option to do LN. Although the payor will still shoulder the fees, many don't want to learn on how to use Bitcoin as a payment.

If you think that using Bitcoin as a legal tender can decrease the price of goods in your country. Maybe it won't still be if those products are imported and there's a huge cost coming from delivering it from point a to point b.

While a country's economic status is dependent to the leadership and how your country is being managed and helped. Having Bitcoin as a legal tender won't solve everything on an instant.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest in a project that assists families of fallen first responders? on: February 15, 2024, 05:18:17 AM
I would support an NGO that helps families of these type of people or first responders. But if I'll invest on a project that mainly does this? No. And that's because any project that's timing going to come out nowadays are due to the bull run trying their luck if they'd get volume or not.

Anyway, there's no need to get into such goal if there have been ways of supporting them without having the invest and make it look like a token distribution.

Most of these projects will just be the same of trying to show sympathy and effort for some niche for the community. But in the end, they're all the same of making these projects produce new tokens for people to invest and devs to earn.
291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder of possible fake app download on application stores on: February 14, 2024, 11:10:19 PM
I am not an iOS user but it's very likely that it will definitely be the place where these cons will find their next victims. As known with Google playstore, there have been bunch of fake apps that have victimized a lot of newbies.

This only means that there's really no safe place at all when you're ignorant of their existence and thank you for notifying that as many iOS/Apple users are here for sure.

And not just here, globally. I hope that news like this will be read by them so that they will also be aware of these fake apps on the apple store.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't make use of what you disliked because you can't stay away from it. on: February 14, 2024, 08:21:17 PM
They are not forcing you but telling you that they have rules about dormancy of accounts. So if you haven't done any activity to that account for an specific period of time then that's the time they'll take action and that's an automatic blocking or freezing of your account.

If you don't want to gamble from them, it's just simple. You just stop using them and don't gamble there anymore and they're not forcing you to do so.

Some casinos have their own features like self excluded and if they don't have it then you better just let the system freeze your account due to long time inactivity.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is tor wallet is the next metamask? on: February 14, 2024, 06:20:11 PM
Another .xyz domain from a wallet that's unknown and trying to be against with the most popular in wallets.

@OP, I don't think that you've just discovered it. Probably you have developed it or marketing it as you can be one of those people that have founded it.

I wouldn't connect any of my wallets on it nor gonna visit. It's just so dangerous with these unknown wallets to try and use them.
294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Preventive measures not to lose your btc on: February 13, 2024, 06:50:22 PM
5. Do not connect your wallet directly to any site you are not sure of otherwise you could be piped. The best advise is to always make a new wallet and send few gas fee to that wallet and keep your real wallet secure and safe from alteration.
These two reasons why many newbies have been becoming victims of phishing websites. They think that it's okay to connect their wallets especially metamask to any of these websites.

Many airdrop people are connecting their wallets into the new projects adding liquidity as the reward will even be bigger. They add volume, using their own gas fees just to contribute.

But they have no idea if the project will become successful or just a decoy to attract more victims. That's why when it's come to this, I agree use new wallets.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Anyone +18 Play Gamble? on: February 13, 2024, 04:40:23 PM
Does gambling needs experience or anyone +18, even the inexperienced one can also play? Though playing gamble has a limited age grade or age bracket and the accepted is from  +18 years and there are some casinos hall at the door post, it is written clearly that it is only people of +18 can play.
I've learned to gamble when I was under 18 so, it's not really intended only for the ages 18+ only. It depends on the influence that you'll be getting. As for the rule of online casinos, gamblers must be 18+ but we don't have idea if that's being followed.

But what about the inexperienced ones, are they allowed to play gamble as well? Or they are also restricted to have the fun? In my observation, there are two elements to participate in gambling. One, you must above 18 years in my country and secondly you must have an experience to play, so I want to know if inexperienced people can also play gamble.
There's no restriction to gamble so, if you're at that right age of 18+ and still inexperienced then no one is going to stop you the fun for you to gamble.

As long as you have your money ready to deposit, that's it. In your case, if being inexperienced is a requirement to restrict people to gamble. I wonder how they're going to gain it but this typically not being obeyed.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security might not be a priority for younger generations. (2) on: February 13, 2024, 05:59:21 AM
There are pros and cons for everything like if there's no new generations of farmers and crop makers then who's going to make our foods?

But sadly, can't also blame the new and younger generations today because of what the technology is bringing up to the world. Traditionally, there should be a passing on these jobs depending on the culture of each family.

Those that have farming business usually passing on the business to their younger members but what if most of their younger members don't want to become farmers anymore?

I believe that there will be a bit of problem on it but then it's gonna be solved. Technically, farming have been easier nowadays because of machineries but that's not what the newer pals see.

There's also the backyard farming and instead of going to be into the actual huge farming and producing, it's more of an aesthetic matter nowadays.

I wonder if anonymouscoward issue got resolved, he hasn't posted anything and hasn't been online for a week.
It's nearly 5 days since he hasn't logged in. So, that's only two things for him, either solved or he's just too busy in real world.

Lightlord was online on February 8 and I assume he ahs been informed by his staff on his gambling site and saw anonymouscoward posts here in the forum. it would be nice if anonymouscoward could update whether his issue got resolved or not.
I've read that he's been sick again and he has to rest but for sure he has been updated with what's happening to his business and with some concerns like this.

Let's just wait for his update if it has been resolved or not yet.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the most underrated sport? on: February 12, 2024, 09:31:38 PM
Slap fighting competitions. Have you heard about it?

I watch videos of this competition but I feel that it is too much for me.
We're not just used to it but it's also a fighting sport like UFC, boxing and the other physical and contact sports.

Quote
There's still a debate about it whether it's a sport or not.

Well, at least it is labeled as competition and sports betting can take advantage of this gameplay.  I read that the Nevada Athletic Commission sanctioned it as a sport
Yeah, that's also what I've read but there's still some debates about it but that would probably give the idea for those confused people the are still into debate about it.

just a little trivia about the sport:

Quote
Who invented the slap sport?
Slap fighting, or slap boxing, is thought to have originated in Russia in the Sarychev Power Expo and annual Slap Championships, but it made its way into mainstream sports in the US by 2022.
And that's how it is going to be massively driven into the bookies probably soon. If it's already mainstream in the US then it's likely that there will be demands for it although it's still quite too early for it.
299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 50k is exciting on: February 12, 2024, 07:39:51 PM
Sadly, there are still people that keeping their funds on exchanges so that they're ready to sell them asap. But most of them are just keeping it there for storage purposes and they can't determine whether they'll sell or not when the bull arrives.

While some may think that they're wise enough to keep it there because of the current high fees again, it doesn't makes sense if you have no intention of selling.

Yeah it definitely is exciting but this over excitement of holders not patient enough is what has caused drastical increase in fees. Take a look;
I've checked the fees as soon as I've seen the price increase and again, it's high.  Undecided
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which project/token brings you the most profit? on: February 11, 2024, 08:19:56 PM
Which project/token brought you the most significant profit?
Bitcoin

How did you use profit?
Used it for almost everything that I need like for paying bills, buying stuff that I need, as in everything.

What impact did your success have on your life?
It had changed my life and made me able to buy those things that I truly need. I'm not a material person but with Bitcoin, I was able to buy those material stuff that I can use for my other business.

I'm sure that there are other better stories that did changed their lives forever not just with Bitcoin but also with other projects.
