281  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can gambling sites provide proof of auditing that was done on their RTP? on: March 06, 2024, 09:49:51 AM
I can tell you with full confidence that local online casinos with local licenses get audited. I know that the software of slots, roulette, blackjack and every other games, get regularly checked by government to make sure that every local operating casino plays fair games.
Many crypto casinos use Curacao license. I don't know if they are required to do audits. As I know, the license giver country should audit them but Curacao doesn't mandate casino servers to be physically located within its borders. Probably audits aren't done on online casinos, I hope some casino owners will answer this question.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: March 06, 2024, 09:03:22 AM
This might appear a mere or cranky question but yeee. Its been one of the interesting discussions raised by the average and vulnerable citizens in the country usually at when the masses feels the governments are playing over their intelligences and making caricature of them and yet this question keep staying questionable even after being answered.
Question: Why does the independent, developed and  productive countries still borrows money from the World Bank even when they have enough to execute their excused reasons given why they have to borrows the money?
I am interested about this because in my country, we are independent and a productive country with revenues ought to be contented enough to execute the projects in demands of what they still borrows from the World Bank for and yet there is no economical improvements in the country instead we are running economical backwards.
Developed countries, that took loans from the World Bank did it after World War 2 to rebuild their economy. I don't know any developed country that takes loan from World Bank. Can you name one? As I know, at the moment developed countries donate money to the World Bank, they don't take it. Developing and least-developed countries take loans from the World Bank, the loan is fulfilled by rich countries like the US, Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany... Poor countries receive loans with low to zero interest rate. The purpose of this loan is to improve their living and help them develop.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 05, 2024, 06:18:28 PM
Bitcoin touched new ATH in 2024 of around $69000. There is fear in some investors that there can be a big correction from here. But, there are many investors who are still investing in bitcoin even if the prices are near ATH. What is your one primary reason to keep investing in BTC even at these levels.

I am doing this because I am positive with the ETF news. It is resulting in major adoption to users who were earlier reluctant to invest in bitcoins.
Those investors who are investing in Bitcoin when the price is near ATH, are simply average Joes with no understanding of the market. They look at the price of Bitcoin when it's low, then they think that it's a scam, and then they think that it's going to fall, then it doesn't fall, it rises again, and they still hesitate to buy it, then it rises again, FOMO kicks in, it reaches phenomenal price and then they buy it but now it's too late, the bubble busted and thanks to the late investors, other people are making a profit.

I don't buy during ATHs, I only make short sell but it's very risky too. Btw sometimes I buy during ATH when I want to make a Bitcoin transaction.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discrepancies in Casino Experiences on: March 05, 2024, 03:55:50 PM
This is a casino related issue. I feel like some people are lucky. Or maybe this isn't about luck. If you read on this forum and on the internet you will see that there are people who complain about the same casino that you have been playing for years about, being unable to login, unable to withdraw, and other casino issues, and calling these casinos scams. For some of these people, they didn't default on the terms and conditions looking at their screenshot evidence(I know that it is just a few cases). How does it make you feel knowing you've had a smooth experience while others have encountered such challenges?
I have been into cryptos since 2015 or 2014, I can't recall it well but I have created many accounts before KYC was a thing. I have also been a participant of many signature campaigns, including many top crypto casinos. Maybe this is the reason why I have never been asked to submit KYC documents on many major casinos, I am one of the oldest member and they all probably know me from bitcointalk and there are no suspects. To be fair, I feel privileged because of my experience but it feels bad when I see many people getting asked for KYC because they won a lot and casino doesn't let them to withdraw but most of the time cases get solved when they post on about their issue on this forum and this is what I love about this place.
285  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: March 05, 2024, 12:56:38 PM
Very nice thread OP, it helped me to find some good exchanges but I want to share my recent experience with Changehero. I decided to make a quick exchange with changehero, entered my altcoin address, calculated the amount, then their btc address showed up where I had to transfer the money, then I sent the coins from my wallet and then I receive a message on their website that time has expired (while only some minutes have passed) and if I wanted to make an exchange, I had to try again. I contacted their support and they were checking the problem but I didn't hear reply for five minutes and used transaction cancel option on Electrum because transaction wasn't confirmed yet. Thanks god, I received money back.

I don't say that changehero is a scammer or like that but I would be careful with them.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycott of Chinese products and economic relations - when ? on: March 05, 2024, 09:39:59 AM
Chinese products could become cheaper and other nations will buy and sell them in rebranded forms at higher prices to the Arabs. This actually depends on whether a boycott is justified otherwise China wouldn't be affected that much.

Of course, Chinese manufacturers, in case of a total boycott of the Islamic world, will be forced to reduce prices and rebrand or conceal the origin of their goods. And, of course, this will be profited by the layers that will pass off forbidden goods as authorized ones.
But that's not the point here. The main question was why, with regard to Israel, some hyperactive loudmouths call for a boycott and anathema, while against China they cowardly keep silent, although the scale of the tragedy of the Muslim population in China far exceeds the scale and duration of Israel's retaliatory, and very harsh, operation in response to a massive terrorist attack.
Duplicity and cowardice, and a complete lack of real concern for their brothers in faith - this is the reason.... While very easily could have hit the Chinese economy hard !
I don't believe in boycotts. When the government announces a boycott, a dark marketplace is always created that increases the prices of the boycotted product. To be fair, I don't understand how someone can boycott Chinese products when China produces almost everything for the world. Smartphones are a basic example, is there any country where good smartphones, like Apple's iPhone, Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi and etc, all are made in China. They can't say no to these smartphones because they don't have a good alternative.
I don't say that price will be the problem, Arab world is super rich and can pay millions of dollars for nothing but simply, the alternative doesn't exist that changes products that are made in China. They can probably buy TVs that are made in Taiwan and that's all.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decentralized vs Centralized Gambling....Which do you prefer? on: March 05, 2024, 09:14:08 AM
Does anyone know any good decentralized casinos? I don't know. I only know a few and they don't have good UI/UX design and also they don't have good games, it's very boring to play on decentralized casinos because there are only dice and similar games and you miss the fun of slots, poker, live roulette, live blackjack and etc...
Centralized casinos, like Bitsler, Stake, Roobet, Duelbits and many more, offer you a very thrilling experience with very beautiful and elegant UI/UX design, with lots of features, tons of games and etc. It's very hard to beat centralized gambling these days.
288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crashgambler.io - Your Ultimate Crash Gambling Guide - Tournaments & Reviews on: March 05, 2024, 08:43:16 AM
I think it's a little bit shameful when we talk about crash casinos and don't list moneypot, bustadice and bustabit there, the original creators of the crash games.
Btw your website is nice, information is written in a friendly manner and I like it but personally, I found the review of casinos too long to read. If I were you, I would make it a little short. It would be good if you added a filter on your website that would let customers filter casinos according to high or low bonuses, features, ratings and etc.
Also, a small correction. Evolution Gaming is not called Evolution Gaming anymore, they are called Evolution, changed their name some years ago. I think you will probably want to change that on your website.
289  Other / Archival / Re: Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ? on: March 04, 2024, 05:28:09 PM
Are investors investing in Bitcoin at ATH now are fools ?  Is there chance of major correction from here as prices have already peaked now.
There are people who buy bitcoin because they use it for daily transactions, so price for these people doesn't matter, they convert bitcoin in USD value and buy that way. Btw on another hand there are people who really invest in bitcoin during this time. Majority of them are fools only in the case if they aim for short-term profits because it's very risky to buy bitcoin at 63K and make a sell order at 65K to take some money in your pocket. I wouldn't call fool to someone who buys bitcoin even today and plans to wait for 4, 5 or 6 years because long-term, 63K is still a dip.
At the moment I wouldn't but Bitcoin, price is too high for that. I would short sell right now.
290  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: March 04, 2024, 05:04:12 PM
Recently Bustabit was sold and it has a new owner - leomedina. Yesterday, leomedina replied to my post and told me that he is maintaining the current policies regarding VPNs, which means that everyone is allowed to use VPN on bustabit.com.
Another crypto casino that allows VPN usage is freebitco.in.
Long story short, I know two casinos that are 100% VPN friendly - Bustabit.com & Freebitco.in

I suggest you to also check bustadice.com and moneypot.com, they are potentially VPN friendly too but I am not confident. It's better to ask them.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos: Still a thing? on: March 04, 2024, 11:48:00 AM
I've been wanting to increase the number of my long-term crypto investments for a while now and I've already got like a good amount of BTC that I can comfortably invest without pulling out and I've checked Bitvest just out of curiosity and I've seen that you can invest in their website, I think I've seen it with Bustabit and Bustadice too back then, are they still doing that or is there like a lot of new casinos that are offering this kind of thing, I can't recall how it works when you invest in them so I'm going to ask (although I feel like stupid forgetting how it works), how does it work? And are there any other trusted casinos that are offering this investment? Is it a bad investment?
in 2017 there was a good debate about investment in crypto casinos and many websites don't offer you this option and there are good reasons for that. First of all, there is a chance that if you invest in a casino's bankroll, they might abuse the game since the website owner has access to server seeds, he then can register the account and predict the outcome of each bet and win tons of money. If the casino owner does that, then investors will experience loss while the casino owner will take all the money in his pocket. I don't say that any casino does this but there is a risk and I explained it to you.
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: March 04, 2024, 10:57:29 AM
FUN token always had a CEO, the former one was even the soul of the project litteraly : Adriaan Brink, unfortunately he died one year ago in April 2023. He used to be the architect of the new era of FUN token after its evolution from Funfair to the Freebitcoin ecosystem and a visionary leader for its development, that's why the project had been less updated since he started to be really ill IMO.
https://funtoken.io/in-memoriam-adriaan-brink-1963-2023/
Oh, what a pity. I was watching FUN's videos on youtube some days ago.
By the way, does anyone know if Freebitco owns the whole FUN project or not? I thought whole FUN project was owned by them but I read somewhere that FUN is a different team and freebitco only owns some coins.

Only Rollbit Token is performing well. I hope this coin won't experience a sudden crash or it will be very hard to recover.

As long as Rollbit's in business, them tokens shouldn't crash.
It's not that simple, you don't know what happens to their coin if Rollbit experiences a major hack or a major crash and that applies to every centralized coin, not only to Rollbit but Rollbit is the only one that's doing very well compared to others.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is next significant correction coming? on: March 04, 2024, 10:36:07 AM
Hi all!

We all seen what Bitcoin was doing for the past month and most of us would like to get some more Bitcoin. I was waiting for a good moment to do that for about 3 weeks and in terms of being the dip it ain't looking good.

It was consolidating for so long now! Please share your thoughts on to when another correction may be expected?

Thank you and have a good day Smiley
It's very hard to say when the next significant correction will take place, it has never happened before for Bitcoin to reach its ATH before halving. I'm saying reached because I am very sure that we will reach ATH, the price is 65k USD right now, and it's very easy from this line to reach 69k and even surpass it.
From my own experience, the price might crash from 69K or 70K but it can be temporary and then go higher, then it might even crash and will start a significant rise in this winter, after halving.
It's very risky to do anything, I wouldn't risk with a lot of money.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why inflated countries should adopt Bitcoin to help boost their economy. on: March 03, 2024, 02:29:32 PM
But the more important thing is that to do this on a scale that it would matter you would basically be at the mercy of the other countries, since for your investment to grow you need others to also buy, and when you sell you need others to buy your coins and obviously not dump a shitload exactly one day before you have your loan payments
Yes, when it's on a country level, every country will be at the mercy of the other countries. On a country level, it's super risky when more than one country is involved in it. In overall, a country has to withdraw coins when others put too much USD into the Bitcoin market cap and when a country manages billions of dollars, it becomes very risky, there can be a fatal crisis if things don't go as expected and predicted.

But long story short, nobody managed that with gold, nobody will be able to do it with Bitcoin.
Again, if eveything at macro level would be as easy as individual finances!
I completely agree with you, macroeconomics is very different from individual finances and it's impossible to compare them to each other but it's still funny to discuss. Btw I started talking about it because El Salvador is the only country that has been trying something like this.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copytrading with Binance Leaderboard traders on: March 03, 2024, 11:24:30 AM
Your logo reminds me BBB.org's logo. Do we have to enter Binance credentials on your website to use your bot? It will be good if you create a small video where everything will be explained. Btw it will also be good if you add support of multiple positions in the near future because there are many traders that do multiple bets and profit with that strategy, so sometimes it's not a good idea to follow one specific position of these traders.

I mean people have become that lazy now that they are doing copy trading and wants to automate it too. I mean really. Just to mention I checked your website it's quite brand new so you must come up with something unique like intro to yourself because that's raise a red flag in my mind you did not disclose any of the teams information (or I might have missed) but still looking forward to it.
Not everyone has time to sit in front of a computer and watch charts 24/7 and if there is a possibility to find a good trader and copy their movements, then why not? You work while others trade and you make additional profit.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain technology has the potential to transform government on: March 03, 2024, 10:37:12 AM
Researchers and practitioners have demonstrated that the benefits of blockchain and distributed ledgers aren’t limited to cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin.

How possible is this ?

Quote from: https://blogs.worldbank.org/governance/blockchain-technology-has-potential-transform-government-first-we-need-build-trust
Yes, blockchain technologies have the potential and have been proven to bring benefits to the people and the government and add an extra layer of protection to the data. For example, the Republic of Georgian and BitFury signed an agreement years ago that BitFury would implement blockchain technologies in many areas and one of the most successful one is a land registry on Blockchain. This guarantees that no one will be able to modify the stored data and customers can feel safe.
Blockchain technologies really are one of the most innovative and beneficial inventions of recent years. They can successfully be implemented in healthcare and as far as I am aware, there is a discussion about that among BitFury and some hospitals.
297  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: March 03, 2024, 10:20:54 AM
It's revenue. They have lost a significant amount already in 3 months. They are quite experience in the industry as they have 2 fiat business, there's no way to go anything wrong. Price fluctuation has nothing to do with the decision as far as I know.
It's very strange that they are shutting down crypto casino but are leaving fiat casino open. There is way bigger competition among fiat casinos compared to crypto casinos. I think that 3 months is a little for casino, amazon was was operating without profit for nine years since its foundation. No doubts they are more experienced than me and decided to close the crypto casino but I find it very curious that they survived in a fiat casino world but failed in crypto.
Btw is it possible that they'll add cryptocurrencies to their fiat casino? Or did they abandon crypto forever?
298  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum running slow? on: March 03, 2024, 08:06:24 AM
The problem is fixed right now, I don't experience issues but I confirm that today, even some minutes ago, Bitcointalk had a problem, it was loading very slowly and sometimes the server was shut down.
By the way, am I the only one who experiences problems on Bitcointalk very regularly? The server is shut down very often but gladly it's only for some minutes. I hope everything is okay with the forum, it will be good if theymos or forum moderators explain why this happens so often (probably once a week).
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 02, 2024, 03:29:25 PM
It is not very surprising, Ronaldo got a punishment of a suspension of 1 match because he made an aggressive act when the fans chanting Messi on Ronaldo. I'm not a loyal fan of Ronaldo, but I think Ronaldo deserved to do it because the fans were annoying him too much. Al-Shabab fans may be unsatisfied because they were defeated at home. In my opinion, if Ronaldo is punished, those fans should be punished as well. The fans who make a problem, Ronaldo won't do an aggressive act if the fans never chanted Messi name.

The punishment shouldn't be applied for the players only, there should be a punishment for the fans, too. For example, Al-Shabab will play with no supporters in the next few matches.
These fans drive him crazy and he falls into their trick. People get fun when they make him upset but I think it's very immature for such a famous and old player to act like a kid in his teens ages. He has the responsibility to control himself and not get easily provoked because he is a public figure and many kids and adults take him as a role model, his influence over society is very high, man only changed the place of the Cola bottle and it caused loss of billions of dollars for the company.
Sadly, fans won't get punished for bad behaviour because companies, including football clubs and media, earn money from them. In business, it's always customers first.
300  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 02, 2024, 01:05:03 PM
Metawin is very popular also on social media since they have a daily contest that rewards user with at least 10K rewards for their sweepstakes games while 2.5% of the amount spend is refunded on the metawin account and can play immediately. They also have NFT and many more that is trending online via social media that’s why this casino is insanely popular especially on X which most of crypto holders usually hangout for discussion.

I’m surprised that they managed to land their promotion here in Bitcointalk while they already have strong marketing on social media. This only show that our forum is being valued even by casino that has strong marketing already outside here.
Metawin seems to be a very popular casino, I couldn't imagine a newcomer casino having up to 200k follower on Twitter, that's a huge number. I am just glad that they came here and I think that it was a very good decision because there would be many people who didn't know about Metawin before they came to bitcointalk.
Bitcointalk adds a huge value to every casino, the backlinks that they get from signature campaign participants help them to rank higher in search engines and it has also been proven many times that this community helps trustworthy casinos to grow bigger.
