1181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: January 30, 2021, 06:31:41 PM
I have no idea how legit that website is but recently I saw an article on Cointelegraph about India exploring the possibility of a digital currency.

Long story short, 5 days ago, RBI (Reserve Bank of India) stated that if there is a need of a digital version of fiat currency, they'll do everything from their side to put digital currency into use.

Idk why they really want to bank bitcoin, especially when it's a poor country and Covid made their population even poorer. Instead of helping them and giving possibility to earn more money via different (good) ways, they close all ways. I think it won't happen in India, it will be just illogical and step back in past.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ Bet online ᐉ BTC Betting ᐉ Online betting odds on: January 30, 2021, 05:15:39 PM
My account with 1ETH+ and 0.02BTC was suspended with no information given, ever. Its been over a year now and I have switched mobile and PC. So I do not have any details regarding the account. Since 1xbit is now responding to messages. Can you please help me find my account? and tell me the reason why it was suspended? Just randomly one day I wasnt able to login and that was it. I have sent a PM with a little more details.
I can't understand one thing, did you forgot your username, email, password (one from them) or you remember them but are unable to login?

1xBit.com suspended my account without a reason - No replies - 0.44 BTC [Happened in 2017]

1xBit.com has suspended my account without providing any reason. [Happened in 2018]

1xbit turned my account off after I won a lot on e-sport matches [New accident in 2020]

If you ask them, they can suspend accounts when they wish, they can cancel bets when they wish. Usually, it happens when you win. When you lose, you can feel free to lose more.
There are a lot of similar topics and overall, a lot of scam accusation threads against them. Hope they'll help you in this case but... Never leave your coins on another website again!
1183  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Any Bitcoin Debit card which doesn't require to convert to Fiat same as XAPO? on: January 30, 2021, 04:45:36 PM
I would use Binance for more flexibility, there are a lot of trading options and you get cashback via their card (but at the same time hope you realize that nothing is free + no one pays for something and they collect your data).
But Binance card has a lot of problems right now so I would wait for a while before moving on it.

You could also use BitPay, Wirex or Coinbase. But since you use Xapo, I guess you are from Europe, so go with Wirex.

As I see nexo.io has great features and offers but I don't know how reliable they are, their offers are just more than good.
1184  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting a user who just merited you on: January 30, 2021, 03:57:51 PM
Whatever the reason is that someone merited your post, you might sometimes (or all the time) feel like you need to respond in the same way
In overall, I think that more likely we merit each-other because their opinion matches our opinion.

Personally, I think that people may think in a different way. When the person merits you, you may feel like you have to merit but at the same time you may think like if I merit him/her, it will look like a chain

To my mind, a high percentage of bitcointalk members think differently because when the person merits you, you may feel like you have to merit but at the same time you may think like if I merit him/her, it will look like a chain where we try to rank up each-other. I came up with this conclusion after seeing this behaviour from a lot of users.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: New US presidents are privacy-friendly? on: January 29, 2021, 10:57:44 PM
Forget privacy-friendly president or parliament or the government overall. It will never happen and I'll explain why:

The three main targets for the politicians when it comes to an advertisement industry is the following: Collect the data, get more information about voters and exert an influence on them. In order to collect information, parties may use their own, special pre-election applications. Sometimes, they directly buy or get data as a gift from the commercial sector. Those, who have more money or connections, can get more information. Collected data gives politicians the possibility to know what voters like or dislike and what kind of messages are more sensitive for them.

To say shortly, information about voters is one of the most valuable things for politicians, they do everything to win the campaign, that's why no one will be privacy-friendly.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: January 29, 2021, 10:19:33 PM
Mine I never lose more than 10 streak because my bankroll is only enough for 10 losing streak before I will go bankrupt.
How small is your bankroll or how can you decide that it's enough for only 10 losing streaks? Are you betting with 10 satoshies?

The worst experience that I have ever seen was on freebitco. But the curiosity starts when I left 0.05 bitcoin running of automated dice rolls and it was rolling on its own for 2-3 hours, imagine, 2-3 hours nonstop dice bets and I doubled the money. Before withdraw, I tried to just bet 1 satoshi until I would lose 25 bet in a row. Somehow, that lose time came very quickly but there wasn't a significant lose in overall, just some bucks. It was years ago, when I wasn't registered on bitcointalk and freebitco was the rising star.

1188  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: January 25, 2021, 11:14:57 PM
Bitcoin was created in digital world and it took its root on this forum, so, the internet and this place are your best friend to enlighten you and make your knowledge deeper. Personally, I don't know any university that seriously turns bitcoin and blockchain-related topics into their syllabus and lecturers talk about it. From personal experience, lecturers and those who call themselves experts in economics, don't really know a single thing about bitcoin and just throw combination of useless words that has aim to make bitcoin look scam/ponzi scheme and a thing that brings everything bad to our society.

Believe me, you don't need university for that, just do more research yourself online and be always up to date.
1189  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun-Most trusted & coolest looking provably fair blackjack in Market on: January 25, 2021, 09:58:08 PM
Likewise Ethereum has higher transaction fees when prices are pumping,
Yeah, it's right but atleast lower than bitcoin in general. But it's bigger and weird during making any trade in Decentralized exchange like uniswap. And people like more ETH after the bitcoin. So it's really good that they have added ETH.

And yeah I vote your suggested coins to add there Smiley
I think they should get an answer from their players. For example, years ago, a high percentage of players were asking Burstcoin to be added on Bitsler, then the demand went higher on other altcoins and finally they accept a lot of altcoins for deposit and withdraw. It takes time, money and resources to add a new altcoin payment system on website, that's why it's better to do a survey and market analyze about which currencies are mostly used by gamblers and what's their behaviours (For example what games do ethereum users play the most, which coin is popular for blackjack players, etc). You have to start asking from your users, it will strengthen and increase the number of your loyal customers too.
1190  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2021, 09:08:50 PM
<snip>
I used VPN recently to joined a contest here for Roobet. I used a VPN service to be able to access slot games from a particular provider which isn't allowed from my region. So far, I experienced no issue, I'm still doing it whenever joining contests, sometimes even there's no contest I use them so I could play my favorite slots.
<snip>
Maybe you can still participate in the contest using a VPN.
Actually, just right exactly what I said, the first and main reason  why I used VPN is to be able to play the provider's slot games that has been announced by the contest manager sir Hhampuz, we asked and we were allowed to use. Suggestion is to use paid VPN services to avoid future issues.
Using VPN for unlocking the location-based restrictions is not a bad idea but has some downsides. First, the VPN companies share the same IP pool for all users and this can cause a permanent ban on providers/websites/services. Maybe one user has abused the promos of Roobet with the same IP address which you use and the same restrictions will be a problem on your future withdrawals. Just my 2 cents.
When your location is restricted and you use VPN, it's not a correct from the very beginning (but it's okay, why did they restrict gambling? Cheesy)
In order to get rid of promotion abuse marks, more than two account marks, etc. You have to use VPN with dedicated IP and then you can feel free from any problems. Dedicated IP means that it's unique address only for you and no one uses it except you + it doesn't look suspicious everytime you login in your account (because on shared VPN, IP changes everytime and that turns an alarm).
1191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading have an advantage over investing?? on: January 25, 2021, 08:22:27 PM
To be fair, I don't fully understand what you exactly mean in investing. But since we talk about cryptocurrencies, I suggest you to combine both of them. Imagine, if you invested money in bitcoins 10 years ago, even with a tiny amount of money you would be a millionaire. Then imagine you decided to sell (i.e. trade) your currencies in 2017 and buy again when price was 3-4K, hold and sell again 1-2 weeks ago. It's very easy to say from past experience but no one knows what will happen in future, especially when it comes to cryptocurrencies.

If you do correct trading, then, without doubt, you will earn an insane amount of profit because the price almost changes up to 6% daily. But it's impossible to always do the right trades.
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: What We Should Learn From Elon Musk Influence on: January 25, 2021, 07:59:42 PM
There are a lot of things that we can learn from him:
1. Always follow your dreams and never let anyone to break you from following your dreams. You can turn a dream into reality if you are driven by passion and willpower. I don't actually get inspiration from this man but he really amazes me and I appreciate what he achieved, no one knew who was Elon Musk years ago, he wasn't even able to get a job in Netscape and now, the whole world talks about this man.

We should also learn from him that if we are different from other people and are driven by different passion, it doesn't mean that we are bad (When society is ugly, being beautiful is unacceptable).
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: January 25, 2021, 06:53:11 PM
When I see the picture of our banks in my country's, it seems lots of people in the line to withdraw their funds. An analysis of my country says that people keeping funds on their hands instead of keeping into the bank. And it hasn't happened before where a huge amount of funds holding by population. Bank reports saying, clients are just withdrawing their money, deposits are very low by comparing with withdrawal. That's why people encountering lots of questions from the bank regarding withdrawal. Most likely due to the global pandemic, people want to keep funds on their hands.

I don't know if it is happening in your country as well. But seems people losing their faith from centralized organizations like a bank. It would happen due fair of bankruptcy or due to need money on emergency situations. On the other hand, gold and bitcoin movements saying that new investors getting in. Most probably people want to be their own bank.

What's your thought and what's the real situation of your country?
It depends on the country. Once I had a presentation about banking culture in some post-soviet countries and from my research, I can say that they avoid deposit in bank accounts. The reason is that in some of these countries, back in 90s, a lot of people, the highest percentage of the population had deposit on banks account (there weren't commercial banks, banks belonged to the government). And one day, people lost deposits, government take it all, then happened inflation, currency was changed, etc. That's why majority of population don't trust to banks in some countries (younger population more likely trusts banks and makes deposits if they have).
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if internet connectivity gets terminated on: January 25, 2021, 06:08:39 PM
Nowadays the world has to be sure that electricity problems for internet and the most demanding services are always ready for every challenge. But in any way, I don't want full digitalisation, digital is still a new thing for us and I think we are doing everything very quickly, we have to slow down a little bit but continue steady and focused growth in digital.

Btw if internet connectivity gets terminated, the world will stop and will be a chaos for a while like it was during the first months of Covid pandemic. Everything works online, a lot of people have money on banks account and imagine, one day you wake up and the world doesn't have money, it will cause brutal chaos. The chance that it will happen exist but actually it won't happen (the chance that sun will fall tomorrow exists but it won't happen, statistically everything has probability).
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bad will the bear market of 2021 get? How low will BTC go? on: January 25, 2021, 05:33:17 PM
Personally, I think that the lowest price we can see in near future can be between 7K and 9K like it was when bitcoin went down from 20K and was playing between 3K and 5K. I even think that price will play between lows and highs like it was playing in 2017-2018 but maybe some facts can seriously affect it's price, for example: Paypal will fully implement crypto services in 2021, this should cause rise in price and we should see 40K again. But what if we beat covid in two years? Will it have affect on bitcoin's price and if yes, then what kind? Maybe it can even have negative affect? Who knows, nothing is excluded when we talk about bitcoin.
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 24, 2021, 08:56:40 PM
EpicChamp
Please, write things shortly. All of your posts are very, very long and because of this I guess a higher percentage of people will just ignore it, it's good advice for you

So, on 24 November, you bet on De Jong and odd was 2.6 that's true. Odd was even 3.0 on almost every sportsbook, including crypto and fiat. Then, on 24 November, odd was really corrected and it becomes 1.3
It seems interesting to know what happened on other sportsbook? Did they do the same as FortuneJack? And at the moment they let this user to do everything (partial cashout) and lately understood that it was the error from a provider, in our case, from BetRadar.

This situation is a real dilemma.
1. When something wrong happens in live casinos, games are cancelled and there are cases when players get a good reward because of live supplier mistake.
2. I think that if your partner did something wrong, users shouldn't pay for it.
3. Let's take Amazon for example, they had the similar case when the price was extremely low on certain thing in their sales day but instead of refusing, they accept the payment and sent an item. Everything comes down to how ethical you are.

In reality, it's not a fault from the user's side, it's a fault from your odds provider and that's clear. Btw FJ doesn't want to fully pay but still offers some bonus for it, that's why this situation is dillema. Everything comes down to how ethical you are.

1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 24, 2021, 03:10:25 PM
Btw people die not only from a heart attack when they win the jackpot but they die from the pleasure they get in the bedroom (especially elders).

That's very interesting subject. I am not doctor but I think the reason can be something like this: When Dopamine and other related hormones are released, you feel happy. When brain feel ups with dopamine, it hits the reward centre where human can experience the most intense pleasure. When too much dopamine is released, when you are on the peak, you can no longer breathe and then you die. Maybe, something like this happens here too because I know dopamine injections are used for those who have heart problems (it doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier).
1198  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Youtube Channel for Bitcoin price and prediction on: January 24, 2021, 02:25:00 PM
Stay away from YouTube imo. I could confidently say that probably 95% of YouTubers(especially the ones trending) are only shilling their bags to their watchers for their personal gain. Either that, or they're paid to shill said projects.

If you'd like analyses, just read the data provided by people like @LynAldenContact, @woonomic, and @zhusu on Twitter, and create your own conclusions using the given data.
Maybe 5% belongs to those who have no idea what they talk but are honest with their opinion. (Btw 95% has still no idea too but they talk for personal gains).

Btw OP, nothing can help you in this task, stick with your mind. You are the only one responsible for your winning/loses. If you want to follow someone, then there is a social trading platform called eToro. But I would say that trading isn't for everyone and trading isn't an area where you can just sit and calculate something by mathematical formulas, no, you have to constantly read the news, be always updated. And don't forget that luck is a major factor in trading too.
1199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take BITCOIN profit without selling? on: January 24, 2021, 11:56:37 AM
I don't know what those youtubers say, their aim is to make title and their speech more attractive for you to earn money views and generate more money from ads/sponsorship.
Seems actually you are looking for a ways to earn bitcoins without involving in trading, right?
1. You can store your coins on Binance, Nexo, Freebitco...
2. You can invest bitcoin in gambling websites like crypto-games, yolodice
3. Find airdrops for bitcoin holders.
4. Giveaway loans in bitcoin on our board

There are other similar ways but also keep in mind, not your keys - not your coins. Btw otherwise you can't earn crypto by only holding it. AND, don't take seriously everything that you hear from YouTubers. Some people claim in videos that they hack twitter accounts, but it's not real Smiley
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 24, 2021, 11:20:26 AM
Joe Biden's platform and policies are identical to his democrat base in states like california and new york. One might say, it is possible to predict the effect Biden's policies will have on business by looking at the net effect similar policies have had in those states. Elon Musk recently moved from california to texas. Citing the negative business atmosphere democrats have created there. If Biden follows the same democrat policies, we could see the same bad policies we've seen in california and new york. Only on a national scale, throughout the entire country. Which would be very bad for the USA.

What's bad for america, could be good for europe and asia. If the united states declines, it would create opportunities for other nations to expand their marketshare. And that could well be one intended effect of Biden assuming the Presidency.
Those "bad" policies for business' are not bad for the public, and that is how the world should be run but people are not realizing this.

I understand that wanting less government and wanting more freedom is a very hip thing with the republicans, they want to be capable of picking their own faith, but if government just makes sure that there is nothing wrong with this and let everyone live however they want, there will be a lot of homeless people, starvation, healthcare problems that people die from when it could be saved (such as insulin being so expensive that a thing other nations giveaway for free is a death sentence for poor in USA) and many other problems.

Modern world doesn't allow "less government" which means those people like Elon musk getting away from paying taxes because its "bad policies" are actually things that help tens of millions of people. Elon Musk literally said that "I rather have more billions of dollars then help other people" and there is no reason why I should support that decision he made.
The most curious and paradoxical for me is that people take care of businessmen and not themselves. They work to make tiny amount of people richer and still their aim in elections is to make life of businessmen better. And the main problem of our world is that in politics major people are businessmen by their spirit and not politicians (I don't mean pseudo politicians). Problem is in people, once we fix the problem in people, then we will have a good government. People live with hope, prey to god for better life while instead of wasting time in it, better to work. Has anyone seen any successful people spending most of their daytime in praying? Politicians cheat to people, lie to them but still, people live with hope that something good will happen on it's own.

I fully agree if Biden sets higher taxes on businesses to strengthen the US dollar and economics. Why it should happen from the pocket of average people? Better money be spent from those who have a serious surplus of it and not from poor people.

People can't exist without governments, slavery is in their blood, that's why they were always praying on different creatures from the very beginning. Only certain people change the world and have a spirit of this.
