2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top coin to invest in for passive income? on: October 21, 2021, 10:17:03 PM
I bet several coins since 2019. I have been investing for a long time. and i get a decent profit... the coins i invest are ethereum, trx and bsc.
BSC is not a coin but a network from BNB or Binance and he hasn't been in the crypto space for that long, so if you say you've been investing in it for a long time, then you're lying about this Grin, don't be like that bro, repent of what you said because of this. it will also hurt you someday.

Just give him the benefit of the doubt.  Wink Maybe, what he really meant is BNB, just a typo error.
Who knows, what he wants to say also is btc.  Grin
But passive income? Unless, you put those currencies to savings or staking.
Be careful also selecting coins for staking purposes, because not many of them are worth for staking purposes.
2802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: October 20, 2021, 11:59:31 PM
There is a big hype for all NFT & Gaming Tokens these days, I wonder how many person can actually say they own any art forms under, same for Game tokens.

I am sure there are way more buyers of the tokens than there are users!

I dont know, but its just doesnt make sense for buying any token without using the utility of its token. I mean i buying BNB for providing liquidity, have trade discount, and many else. I mean I need to believe on its product, want to use it, so i can decide to buy it.

It is hard to buy NFT item if you have no faith about its future value.
Also, not all NFT items will be valuable in the future.
Be selective on what you buy in any NFT marketplace as it may fetch high price today, but would be worthless in the future.
2803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SCIENTIA - Making Money for Science and You on: October 20, 2021, 11:18:30 PM

How? How exactly a public critic destroys the project? Your field is science research, your breakthrough farms critics on daily basis. And how exactly revealing who is this world renowned scientist can initiate an attack on "science" side affect your crypto project? What you propose is a funding for your science project, revealing who behind the team will not affect your current science research as long as your team keep it a secret, because the name reveal will only bring your pst research and achievements, not what you're currently do (unless it's already leaked before). If any damage happen from competitor, it's them trying to copy your "breakthrough" by going crypto for funding, which (given you've made your proposal and will be on a presale soon) you're already ahead of them.

Second, the paragraph bothered me, "who has experienced many of the problems of traditional, old-school science funding and venture capital." If your reseach is truly breakthrough, you won't in difficulties in funding. A refusal in funding for a project will only happen if the project proposed pose no future and/or the scientist themselves are questionable. So?

Oh, by the way, your website timed out.

If they are confident not disclosing the team behind this, then, so be it.
But hopefully, they have private investors who are willing to finance their project.
Because don't expect people will just believe what they are claiming here without proof.
Actually, disclosing the identity of their creator will give more confidence to their outside investors.
I have the feeling that soon, this will just be another abandon project.
2804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scammers put bad impact to Our Government about Bitcoin Transections. on: October 20, 2021, 10:08:59 PM

I think Digital Currency like Crypto isn't getting much popularity because of these Scammers. They are one of the most strong reason why Government's aren't showing interest on Crypto Transections.

that might not  be the reason why governments aren't showing interest in crypto , well  scams are not new and there are way many scams in normal fiats published by the country ,
we cannot say that a currency is bad just because a scammer used  it to scam someone
there are more reasons like the decentralized nature or the fluctuating value but no this for a government to fear crypto or to avoid it .
All the cons that we do able to see are really on crypto but we cant really just ignore on whats its cons because the demand justifies itself on how good and beneficial it is on some aspects.

One of the main reasons on why government do hate up bitcoin or crypto is just because of being decentralized and thats totally opposing on what they do like which it is normal for them to
have that kind of impression.

Scammers been using that characteristic for their own advantage which do really sucks and one of its cons.

Scammers will always find a way how to screw other people, whether fiat or crypto.
But one thing that the government is hesitant of is the decentralized nature of it.
With this nature, they can't get a hold of the full picture of what's happening in this system, thus, receiving hesitations from their end.
And now, these scammers are finding this a very good option, whether to launder money or scam other people, because they can transact fast and anonymously.
2805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: October 20, 2021, 09:35:22 AM
Yes, you are right, sometimes it is not worth betting on shakur, all the statistics do not favor him, although to tell the truth many times the numbers can fail, from a sporting point of view, I know that when one prepares very well for a fight , the result is usually quite good regardless of the probabilities, that means that a very strong training day and night very hard can surprise even the best boxer with the most experience, also I have seen that Shakur has a lot of speed for the blows What can fail him is strength, and I think that is the point that can make him lose.

For sure both fighter are preparing for this big fight, statistics sometimes may not properly justify the full potential of a fighter and some statistics are overrated might as well to look back for the video of a fighters past and recent fights and assess what does the fighter really capable of and not capable of inside the ring whoever the opponents that he may fight in his future fights. But past records of a fighter could be also a good basis for finding which one does good for betting too. However looking at the fighters I think Herring did say it right that their fight will be a hard fight for Stevenson/

Of course, he would say that because he is confident that he will win the fight, however, the bookies will only base the odds on what people think about this fight and I'm sure they'll ask all the fans about this fight, the majority will favor Stevenson, but it doesn't mean he is guaranteed to win, that's why as a better we are gambling on that possibility.

Honestly, this match is really exciting as although we have a clear favorite to win here but most of us here believe that Herring can pull an upset. I don't know if I can watch this fight live but I'll try to find a way to watch its streaming if it's available.

I hope someone would share some link, paid or free once this fight will happen.

Here's some information, I don't know how to avail of the subscription.

We have seen a lot of upsets this year, so for me, don't get too comfortable that the favorite will win here.
We can check what kind of preparation they are doing, if there's any.

But this will be in few days, for those who want to bet, place your bets now.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: advantages in the cryptocurrency industry on: October 19, 2021, 11:36:43 PM
Not just bitcoin that you can buy in small units, every crypto is.

The problem with so many newbies is that they thought this is a get rich scheme. They trade which they think is easy, or invest and hold, but most of the time they lack the patience.

As for gambling, there is a big risk there, yeah you could get lucky and win sometimes, but once you got the taste of it, you might be greedy and play for more and that's where you gonna lose all your money.

So I would say that crypto is not for everyone.

This is where a lot of newcomers are getting it wrong. The concept of getting-rich-quick when you enter in crypto.
So they find out quick once they got in, that it is not a walk in the park earning your profits from crypto.
Patience is needed in this market, and experience to survive in this market.
But for some who got lost their funds at the start, they usually quit and spread misinformation.
So yes, this is not for everyone. But lucky for those who will stay, as they uncover more benefits that it will bring to their life.
2807  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: October 19, 2021, 10:49:43 PM
@Pmalek, saw that betfury's btc withdrawal added the BSC network aside from their native option before.

You can even now withdraw small amount of btc as shown above with very minimal fees like 112 sats, that is for BSC network.
So make sure you are sending it to BTC-BSC network. This is a very good option in my opinion for those who don't want to pay high fees under native network.
If you are using binance exchange, they have option of this BTC-BSC network.

edit : I just read Btzed03's post regarding this and your reply. Anyway, just another option for those who want to save fees.
Not many platforms are offering BTC-BSC network.
2808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: October 19, 2021, 09:56:19 PM
Please explain, why shiba inu not come 1$ ? Total supply?

The main reason may be due to high supply. In addition, Shiba is a meme token, although the current price movement is quite good, investors still doubt the future potential of the token. Shiba hasn't gone through the crypto crisis, he's here in the bull run.

Many are doubting its future because right now, what is the actual use case of this meme token?
They are lucky, binance listed this owed to its popularity.
However, how long they can sustain this popularity? Is there development going on with this meme token?
What will happen when meme hype is over? This is the reason why a lot of investors are not so sure about their future.
2809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 18, 2021, 09:58:15 PM

As always, bookmakers favor the champion. However, I think there is really no favorite in this fight. Sure Crawford is undefeated, but that doesn't mean the good streak never ends. Personally, in my opinion, both of them have equal chances, but as I usually like supporting underdogs, I think I'll bet a few bucks on Porter.

You are free to bet on Porter to win if you think there should be no favorites in this fight, you will get a good odds if Porter will win as his current odds is.

https://www.vegasodds.com/news/free-pick-terence-crawford-vs-shawn-porter-preview-odds-prediction-november-21/

I'm sure Porter will try to bully his way, and he also has the power to KO Crawford so it's already a good deal to take.

I was checking the predictions on:

https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing/terence-crawford-vs-shawn-porter-odds/

Thanks for that link. +350 looks even better than on Betting Insider, because there is +300
I wonder what odds our favorite bookmakers will give when this fight becomes available. I hope the conditions will be similar. A boxing match on this level can always bring a surprise.

The odds are already out in some crypto sportsbooks here like bitsler, betja.
Crawford, of course, is the favorite here with the odds of 1.14-1.16 vs Porter with 4.71-4.75 odds.
But after the recent upset in boxing, I am talking about Mikey Garcia vs. Sandor Martin, you can really never be sure even if the boxer has very good record.
Martin was huge underdog in his bout with Garcia. So a lot were really expecting that Mikey will emerge as winner.
And now, with Crawford and Porter, Porter for me is not an easy opponent. Let us see...
2810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SCIENTIA - Making Money for Science and You on: October 18, 2021, 09:42:20 PM
Can you disclose the identity of the creator of this project?

"The main creator behind SCIENTIA is an active, well-published biomedical scientist, entrepreneur, and physician himself who has experienced many of the problems of traditional, old-school science funding and venture capital."

Because if what you are saying is true, then, you can easily disclose this to the public for more trust.
Since you are dealing with science here, which one of your goals is to create science funding, then it is in your best interest to disclose who is/are behind this project.
Because how can your investors trust that you can deliver if they don't know the actual person/s they are dealing with?
2811  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetABit.Casino - Share Your Thoughts on: October 18, 2021, 09:21:19 PM
Sorry to say but I believe no one will risk $50 to try and play in a new site like yours. If you want to gain good first impression and then gain good reputation, you should allow deposit and withdrawal as low as possible (lets say $5-$10). That's reasonable amount for most gamblers to risk when they want to try a new site.
Well said. Crypto gambling sites usually don't require any minimum deposits or small deposits such as $5 - $10 as you mentioned since they tend to focus more on wagering requirements when compared to deposit requirements.

Good thing here is that op keeps listening to our feedback and is making positive changes regularly though more positive changes are clearly necessary in my opinion.

I have to agree that lowering the min deposit may finally attract some users here to deposit and try the site.
Maybe, just make the wagering requirements like maybe x2 or whatever you deem is right and fair.
As you are just starting, you need to get the interest of these players. If they have good experience, they can always put a good word for the site.

I personally don't see $50 as a high risk amount of money and think $5-$10 isn't really enough to test. However I will test the waters on this one and be flexible. Ill work on getting all the numbers down. Maybe that way we can see a thousand deposits and go from there! Just don't really see how there is a real chance to make a decent profit with $5 but there is always a chance I suppose.

Anyway I'll update when the changes are made...

Thank you Sovie

$50 is not high risk for you, but remember, there are small time gamblers here where they see that $50 is already high risk.
So to get those small time rollers, you need to bend down regarding their request.
If they are happy, who knows, they will use your site again and again, at least create traffic on your site.
2812  Economy / Economics / Re: What will be the effects of China's central bank declaring all crypto illegal? on: October 18, 2021, 08:38:58 PM
Chinese government wants to remain dominant by keeping their citizens scared of them, so they don't want btc to give their citizens the freedom to become rich some day and due to this dislike for btc, they banned it. But their CB's declaration of crypto going illegal there will have absolutely zero (no) effects to the crypto industry. This will only circulate btc out of the hands of Chinese and some other country will take advantage of it by buying at 'cheaper than market' value because of the helplessness of Chinese people.

And we are now seeing that there's really no effect in btc or in crypto in general.
Instead of continuous decline after their announcement, btc bounced back after a slight dump.
And now, we are heading to new ATH. This clearly shows that even without China in this market, btc or crypto will survive, and may reach new heights.
Their total banning is just affecting their citizens who are into crypto. Removing the chance of jobs related to crypto businesses, such as those miners.
They are now seeing that they can't cause the downfall of crypto. Maybe in few years, they will change their stand towards crypto.
Chinese government is known to changing their stance, so I am thinking that give them time, and they may change again their story.
2813  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥Fall Farming Season|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|Promocode🎟$10 for newcomers on: October 18, 2021, 07:53:54 PM
New casinos keep popping up every day and they always try to copy some things on other casinos that people like. For the moment, I will keep playing on Betfury as the dividends are still interesting and I always try to gather even more BFG tokens.
APR on their new farming pool has stabilised around 86 - 90 %.
I believe that all these casinos doing the same thing are competing with each other whereas all the great places are not competing with them. I believe there are like maybe max 5 places that I gamble that I believe that they are doing something decent and I believe that those places are definitely doing something that is great and I believe that they will keep on doing that and they will not change anything and we should be basically focusing on them being something like that, just let the big ones be separated from the lower level ones.

We also have horrible ones as well and betfury is not there, there are 3 stages either you are great, or you could be decent and you would probably have something like a horrible shit place. This is why I believe that there is a great situation betfury is in, if they do something decent then they could also be great but they need to work for it.

So far, I think, betfury is already doing decent in this business.
I haven't seen any complaint from any user here regarding withdrawal, frozen account, or in terms of provable fairness.
Their BFG token is also adding interest because they are one of the casinos that offer staking and farming, which is still active.
We may even see their token to be listed in binance, if the team will push thru on this goal.
However, for now, even if they are not as big as like others, I guess, they are already generating decent income to sustain their operations and more than that.
2814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estonia on a road to possibly revoke most crypto licenses issued in the country on: October 18, 2021, 05:45:13 PM
This might be a bit niche as a topic, but it might be of interest to some. In short the head of money laundering bureau in Estonia has gone to media with the suggestion to either revoke or review all crypto licenses issued in the country. For context Estonia houses about 400 companies that own crypto license.
Earlier it was easier for the companies to get a license as majority of the licenses were procured by agents and i am sure corruption was really big as they would usually provide any license if you are willing to spend money. If they are really reviewing the licenses that they issues that does not mean anything because they will somehow regain the license even for shady companies, in short money talks.

And if they will at least be strict about it, I think, it is about time.
We all know in this community, that if a project wants a crypto license, most of the time they resort to acquiring from Estonia or other crypto-friendly countries.
And I believe, getting it from Estonia has one of the affordable rates and easiest in this market.
But you are right, with the corruption involved, I don't think it will be very effective.
The price may just jump up a lil bit but still these project owners can just buy their way in.
We will know if the rates will be affordable, if these project owners will still purchase their license from this country or they will find another country with cheaper fees.
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 18, 2021, 04:47:07 PM
Gennady Golovkin is so far the closest and competitive opponent of Canelo in his career. I also like to see the trilogy between them and hopefully, it can be arranged. They need a part 3. But before that Canelo needs to settle first with Caleb Plant to become an undisputed boxer this year.

Won't be an easy fight for Canelo but I'm sure he can handle Caleb Plant. The latter has attractive odds to win but too risky to gamble with it.

With an unbiased jury, Golovkin would have won the matches of 2017 and 2018. There should have been a rematch in 2019, but Alvarez chickened out and refused to face GGG. Now there is no point in getting a trilogy fight in 2022. The fact remains clear - Canelo was afraid of a defeat in 2019 and therefore refused to face Golovkin for the third time. No matter how much glory he achieves at the boxing ring (there is no doubt that Canelo is an all time great), this one thing will remain as a black mark and haunt him forever.
Just Like Mayweather refuse to take rematch against Manny Pacquiao , it is best to remain Undefeated recorded than facing an opponent that you are in doubt of winning continuously .

there are different types of Boxers .

there are others that want to test their capacity in fighting the toughest .

and there are also those type of Boxers that only looking for Fame .

The problem with Mayweather is that he avoided fighting Pacquiao during in his prime. Though as a businessman, I do understand the move of Mayweather in avoiding him since there is that risk of staining my undefeated record. But as a fighter, it is considered as a 'weak move'. That is also the reason on why many fans from all over the world see Pacquiao as one of the greatest fighters of all time.

Canelo, on the other hand, is a pure warrior and fighter. He challenges all the greatest on his weight division no matter who the fighter may be. But what really molded him to be the best fighter in his weight division was his fight between Mayweather where he lost. He learned so much from that fight that made him a complete force of nature.

Not only that, Mayweather is one of the boring fighters in the world who cares so much of his undefeated record and value it over the entertainment the fans supposed to get. Every time Mayweather fights, we hear boos but it never happened in Canelo's fight because he doesn't run but makes his opponent run.

I believe a lot of boxing fans don't really like Mayweather's style.
Aside from being boring and dull, he always seemed to pick his fights according to his advantage and like to be on the safe side.
This is why, he's a good technical fighter. But people want a real fight inside the ring just like what Pacquiao and Canelo's style.
So we may see Canelo thrive for years to come, up until his retirement. At least, make boxing alive and not boring.
2816  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: October 18, 2021, 03:58:36 PM
But right now I'm more comfortable at stake.com for sports betting, so it's hard to explain but if this is felt the OP will certainly like it after it.

He had some withdraw issue with Stake in case you're unaware.

Base on some threads and posts made by the OP, looks like He's looking for the Sportbooks site, which are the safest sportbooks to play?
Unfortunately, the OP had a bad experience with Stake, so He probably won't go there Cheesy
Stake.com Blocked 4k euro without explenations from days (The problem has been solved)
I didn't realize it, if there was a problem with large withdrawals of course he would not return to stake.com like what @roycilik mentioned.

If so then the right advice might be Roobet, FJ and Sportsbet if indeed the OP is a sports betting lover.

In fact I'm not having problems with Stake in any way.

Reading his experience about stake will make you conclude that he may possibly avoid it now.
But the good thing about it is his frozen withdrawal was resolved but it took days to get his money back.
But since he had done KYC already on that platform, and the team already know his account, he can still use it if he wants.
Or try those other sites mentioned, check if their support staff here is also active.
So if he needs help, he can easily reach out to the team about his problem.
2817  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: October 17, 2021, 11:54:41 PM
this question of price forecasting is a bit comical, whenever the price increases a lot, analysts appear making optimistic forecasts, but the main point is:

why has the price increased so much this month? in my opinion it was because of a possible ETF approval

so what will happen to the price in case SEC postpones or rejects? the price will drop a lot

They already approved the first ever bitcoin ETF and the launching will be this Oct 18 -

https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2021/10/15/sec-approves-bitcoin-etf-opening-crypto-to-wider-investor-base/

It was in the news for couple of days already, this is why you've seen the boost of bitcoin's price in the past few days.
So with this approval, we may be seeing a good market trend in the next coming months, in which, $85k may possibly be achieved this year.
2818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 17, 2021, 11:37:05 PM
I though it was already final that they will fight on December 11, but I have to check it myself after you said there's no specific schedule yet, and I'm surprised It really has no scheduled date for it yet. It's a mandatory fight, there should have a schedule released already.

Gaballo is a good fighter he is a solid power puncher and a KO specialiy, however he might going to improve his accuracy especially when fighting a boxer with speed and agility like Donaire. I'm kinda excited what this kid could do and he might be the next face of boxing in the Philippines.

I also read somewhere that Nonito Donaire itself mentioned December 11 as the date of the fight and just need to finally arrange the negotiations. I think that will be the final date of the fight and there will only be changes if necessary to do so.

Kudos also for Donaire seeing the potential of the young boxer and he respects it. But also stated he was ready for it so we can expect that he will treat Gaballo the same way he treats his opponents before and won't hold back.

Maybe, their promoters are not yet in final agreement with the venue and purse split.
But high likely, Donaire will have the bigger share here as he's name is more popular than Gaballo.
Younger blood will challenge him and maybe this will also be a determinant factor if he can still continue fighting.
But he showed good performance from his last fight, so maybe we will see him and Casimero fight before he retires.
2819  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: October 17, 2021, 11:02:09 PM
Well, it should be better if we look into a different opinion and it should be a community voice of review should a must not only in a single person or the one who created the site. There should be no bias in having a review and it should come from the community. One of the best examples is here on the forum [Bitcointalk.org]. That is why I only pick a gambling house that already having ads here and they had support here, it will easily assets you by this way.

True that but there's no point creating another platform or reinventing the whells when the forum is already available for such purpose and it does it well. Before I start playing on any crypto gambling sites, I first of all go through their thread (not all topic replies though) just the ones that are like highlights, I pick these and evaluate. I also watch out for issues user gets and how quickly these complaints gets resolved.

You can easily check their trust summary because that section will give you a glimpse of their history.
And then, when you go to their thread, that's where you can get more information about the site.
Like small things how they address player's issues. Are they resolving it in prompt manner?
So yes, this forum alone will give you a handful of info that you can already make a basis of where to go to.

we have to wait, but seems he was online 2 days ago and looking forward to being more active here.

betting towards what will happen in the last quarter of this Most Bullish year in crypto space recorded .
I see Will Bitcoin’s price fall below $20,000 at any point in 2021? and 98% bet NO, yes for sure, I don't know what 2% feeling who choose YES for that price.

and another bet Will Bitcoin’s price surpass $100,000 at any point in 2021? still 50;50, I still doubt also, but possibly close to 100k, maybe the range between 80-90K.

And by the way, why is there not a single representative of Asia in the table - maybe some young "Jackie Chan" could well play. Smiley
Or maybe even more modern and tolerant - make James Bond transgender Grin
maybe James bond fans won't agree with those options, as I know some time ago have rumors about Idris Elba who have replaced Daniel, but the choice inclined to disagree furthermore the last option.

Betting real money on this line Will Bitcoin’s price fall below $20,000 at any point in 2021? , is like a sure one.
But you need to wait til the end of this year to get your prize. Even small bet is good.
Just wish that the site is still up at that time.  Wink
